Chapter 346: Lori's off to college...

(September 03. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

Lori Loud picks up her bag, and then she looks around the bedroom and sees her bed remains, but a lot of her things are not around, even her clothes and shoes. She is also grateful that she found a lot of her missing shoes under her bed, which she questions why they are there... Seriously?

Seeing around the bedroom, she recalls the memories she spent there having meetings with her siblings, and she also feels bad about the moments that weren't so pleasant and felt like she tried to focus things on her, when she shouldn't have and just focused on being a big sister.

She sighs, and then she turns to leave the bedroom. 'A lot of good memories around here, and even if I won't be around to be responsible and be the eldest, I know for a fact that Leni literally has got this. She has to do it her own way, and figure things out.'

Lori then goes downstairs, she then leaves the house and she sees her car is all packed up and ready, and she sees the rest of her family. The Louds, the Lewis', and even Pop-pop is there and also Jordan Rosato and Sam Sharp. She goes over and she hugs the elderly man. "Have fun at college, Lori and show them who the real ace at golf is."

Lori chuckles. "I will Pop-pop, and I'll make sure you're golf clubs ace hole in ones."

Then Luna comes over, and they depart from the hug. "Even though we might not be related as Louds anymore, I still see you as family big sister." Lori smiles hearing this and she hugs Luna. Then Lori looks to Lincoln and they both share a hug, but they don't say anything. Since, all has been said and done and they will always love each other, even if they aren't bearing the same last name.

Lori then looks to Jordan. "Jordan, I literally wanna say sorry again for the hard times I tried to lay onto you and for being a total idiot with Lincoln and his love life, when clearly I should've left it alone."

Jordan speaks. "Everything is fine Lori, and the good part is that you changed, and have become a far responsible Lori than before." They both share a hug, and then Lori looks to Sam, and she has some words to share to her.

"Sam, I literally wanna apologize for thinking that you were a guy and for accidentally calling you one."

Sam is confused. "Ummmm, what? Lori, I don't think I ever heard you calling me a dude?"

Luna then explains. "It was an accident, and she thought she called the Sam who is a guy name, when Sam is a name for both guys and girls, and can be confusing sometimes."

Sam blinks and didn't see this coming. "Oh, well apology accepted." She is still so confused, and didn't know about this before.

Lori then sees the parents go towards her. "Hey, so... I guess this is it."

Lynnard then speaks, but he cries and so Rita speaks for him. "We really hope that one day, we can be seen as the parents you can forgive Lori, and we will miss you sweetie."

Lori nods. "Same here, you guys." She then backs up as Lynnard literally bawls his eyes out. This is getting everyone freaked out, and even Mr. Grouse.

Lori then calls out. "Your car is in good hands, neighbor. I literally won't forget to always let her feel the open road."

Mr. Grouse chuckles. "I know she's in good hands loud. Take care in college, which is something I never ever did, but you're gonna do great."

Lori then looks to her siblings. "Lisa, I expect no other trouble coming from you and whatever it is you have planned, got it?"

Lisa nods. "I promise in the name if the calculations of pie that I will not let such accidents happen, and maintain what I do away from everyone else."

Lori then goes to the twins. "Try and avoid arguments and fighting a lot you too. Stay clean and don't be too rough and dirty, and also don't be too much of a drama queen or being competitive. You're both the only ones each other have."

Lola and Lana have tears in their eyes and they nod. "We will, Lori." they then hug their eldest sister. Lori then departs from the hug and she looks to Lucy.

"You know what to do, right Luce?"

Lucy nods. "Just as I spoke with Lincoln before he went off. I will do my part and watch over the younger ones, and even make sure they don't do anything bad at school since Lincoln will be in Middle School. As the middle child of the family, I will handle this and also ask Leni for some help."

Lori smiles hearing this and then she looks towards Lynn Jr. "I'm counting on you to literally make sure you don't do anything crazy or stupid or something that could do damage around the house."

Lynn Jr chuckles. "I don't think I can keep a promise like that, but I will do my best sis. As for you, I know you can show those other students that you are an ace putter and an awesome golfer, Lori." Lori nods, and then she sees Lily handed to her from Leni, and she hugs the baby.

"Big sister Lori will always be there for you, and you're going to grow up and be a big girl, little sis." Lily giggles and continues this hug, but then she hands her back to Leni and Lily waves to Lori, and this touches her heart.

Lori then hugs Luan. "You're a talented comedienne, and an amazing birthday party entertainer, you can handle in being a big sister too, Luan." This makes Luan have tears of joy, and no pun for this sisterly moment. They then depart from the hug, and then Michelle goes over and hugs her.

"I am so proud of you Lori, and I know you're going to do amazing at Fairway University."

Lori smiles hearing this. "Thanks... Mom, and I'll make you and everyone else proud." Lori then sees Lincoln and Luna head over, and they hug her as well. Deep down, they're gonna miss Lori and Lori is going to miss them.

Lori then looks to Leni and she goes over to her, Leni hands Lily over to Luan and both sisters embrace each other. "I'm totes going to miss you so much, Lori."

Lori has some tears in her eyes hearing this. "No matter what happens Leni, we will always be the best of friends, and the best of sisters to each other. I'll always be with you, and this is not a good bye forever, sis."

Leni nods, and then they look to each other. "This is just goodbye till next time. We can always call or text each other."

Lori smiles and she nods, and then she remembers something. "Later, check on your closet for something that I left for you." This confuses and surprises Leni but then she nods. With that being said, Lori then heads to her car.

She is about to close the door, but she goes back and has one last family group hug, and yes they will let Lynnard and Rita join in on this as well, and the pets. "I'm gonna miss being around you guys."

"We're gonna miss you too, Lori." They then depart from the hug and then Lori heads into her ride, and she sees her phone has a text message from Carol, signaling that she is there at Fairway as well, and this makes her smile. Lori then starts the engine, and she drives off.

Lynnard feels like going after her, but Rita stops him from doing so, otherwise it's gonna look embarrassing and awkward too.

Lori does look to the rear view mirror and she smiles seeing everyone wave to her, and this makes her sigh with relief. 'Alright Lori Marie Loud, time for a brand new look in life. Fairway, here I come.'

(Timeskip, night time.)

Leni is in the bedroom which she has for herself, and she looks around and she sighs. She is already in her night wear, and then she checks the closet because she recalls what Lori had told her.

Leni sees, the side of Lori's closet is empty, but she sees this book and so she takes it from the shelf, and she sits on her bed and she opens it. What Leni finds surprises her, inside are photos of the times Lori and Leni have spent and enjoyed being big sisters/roommates/best friends.

Photos of their childhood, the many times where they were there for their siblings, the times they have bonded and made new friends, and the moments that they have had as they became teenagers, and the photos of the times they had bonding times now.

Seeing this makes Leni has tears of joy, and then she sees some words written on the last page.

"I may not be there physically, but I will literally always be there in your heart, little sis. Love, Lori."

Reading this makes Leni smile, and have the confident and determination to be a true and responsible big sister, a promise which she will continue to keep inside her. 'I won't let you down Lori, I will be a good big sister... I promise.'

A/N: And there we go, Lori is no longer in the Loud House and off to her own College adventures, but they'll see her every once in a while. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
