Chapter 2 : Not-So-Happy Campers parti 2
Yassine567: Honestly, I had this idea because I wanted to rewrite so badly, but Random Isand V1 didn't appeal to me.
Duncan for ever: For Bridgette, I preferred to put her in the story because Zoey was already useless and I prefer Bridgette to Zoey.
Rkant3: I hope I won't disappoint you, and I hope others will discover it.
Jonnhywillow26: I'll try to make as many characters as interesting as possible, but I have to admit that's not my strong point.
brolysjjbleu: The cast was chosen with characters I like, and also with a bit of randomness.
Mycraft: I hope not to disappoint you in the future.
Last time on Total Drama Island, twenty-two contestants signed up to spend eight weeks in a disused former vacation camp and would then be judged by the other contestants, who found plenty of surprises along the way, including cockroaches, chef's food and very poor cabins. In the challenge that began in the last episode, the campers found themselves on top of a cliff, so who's going to crack, who's going to end up in a coma, don't miss this episode of ...TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND.
After the introductory song, Chris spoke again
"Okay, today your challenge is divided into three parts. The first is to dive off this three-hundred-meter-high cliff into the lake," Chris said with a smile.
"That's simple enough," Sky replies.
"Yes, but look down and you'll see there are two clearly defined zones. In the larger zone, we've introduced hungry man-eating sharks, and inside that zone, there's another secure circle, and that's where you'll have to jump because we're pretty sure there aren't any sharks. For those brave enough to jump and survive, a crate of equipment awaits them at the water's edge. In each crate, they'll find the elements needed for the second stage of the challenge: building a spa. The winning team will be treated to a spa evening tonight. The losers, meanwhile, will have to eliminate one of their comrades. Killer Bass is yours," says Chris.
"So, who wants to start?" said Bridgette. No one from Killer Basse wanted to start, except Sky.
"Come on, there's nothing to worry about. On these shows, the assistants always test the challenges to see if they're doable," Sam explained.
Flashback
Chris and Chef Hatchet are at the top of the cliff. Chef Hatchet had a buoy.
"Someone has to test this event. You know that, Chief," Chris says.
"Do I look like an assistant?" says Chef Hatchet angrily.
No, but the ones I had are all in hospital. So jump, you big chicken. Cot Cot Cot Cot Cot Cot Cot," says Chris, mocking the chef.
Chef puts on his diving goggles and jumps off the cliff, lands in the danger zone and feels objects under his feet. A shark came out and started chasing Chef.
End of flashback
"So, who's going?" says Ciel.
"Ladies first," says Duncan.
"Okay, I'll go. No problem, no problem. Just do a death dive into a shark-infested lake," says Sky in dismay.
She plucks up courage, jumps off the cliff and lands in the safety zone. All the other competitors congratulate her. After Sky's jump, Idris, Dave and Duncan take their turn. Idris, Dave and Duncan jump. Idris and Dave jumped screaming and Duncan had no emotion on his face.
Brick then jumped but got caught on a rock that spun him around like a top, but he still landed in the safety zone.
Bridgette jumped and landed in the safety zone, Gwen followed but didn't land in the safety zone. The sharks pounced on her, but fortunately Brick came to her rescue.
"Thanks Brick, without you I'd be dead," says Gwen.
"At your service, I never abandon a soldier," said Brick.
"Not in your dreams. No jumping," said Dj.
"Are you afraid of heights?" says Chris.
"Yes, I've had it ever since I was little," says Dj.
"Oh, it's nothing serious, don't worry. But sorry, you're a chicken. So you'll have to wear a chicken hat for the rest of the day. Come on, back down the escalator," Chris said mockingly.
Dj falls covered in shame
Shawn does a somersault that impresses everyone.
"Leonard, it's your turn to jump now," said Chris.
"Wait Chris, I have to prepare my teleportation spell, it might take a long time," says Chris.
"Yes, but I don't have time, so you've got two seconds to jump, or you can take the chicken hat and come down" says Chirs impatiently.
"But my teleportation spell must take three hours" said Leonard. After Leonard's words, Chris put the chicken hat on him and told him to go down the escalator.
"There are only losers on this team," said Duncan.
"Soldier, we have to stick together, don't blame him," says Brick.
"Leonard had planned to jump but Chris wouldn't let him" said a person on a rock, it was Dawn, no one had seen her jump.
"Ah, but how did you get here?" said Dave.
"I took a shortcut" said Dawn.
"Right. That's nine brave men and two sissies. "If you can do better, we'll give you a wheelbarrow to carry your boxes," said Chris.
"Okay, who wants to go first?" says Jasmine.
"I'm sorry, but I can't jump, I don't want to get my hair wet," says Amy.
"Is this a joke?" said Sammy.
"Don't talk Samey, I'll take care of my hair" says Amy.
"Don't worry, she'll jump!" says Leshawna. She grabs Amy and throws her over the cliff, luckily for her, she lands in the safety zone.
"Ah Leshawna, you'll pay for that!" says Amy angrily.
"I threw you into the safety zone, didn't I? I hope I reach it too!" says Leshawna, jumping up and down at the same time. She reaches the safety zone
Rodney jumped, spreading his legs so his balls touched the water, and he was in a lot of pain. He was screaming so loudly that the sharks didn't even want to attack him.

I hope Jasmine isn't watching, it was so annoying.
End Confessional
"I thought this game was going to call on our personal skills," said Sammy, and Chris laughed and told him that wasn't the case. So Sammy, Sam, Jasmine jumped and screamed, but they all landed in the safety zone, and at the top of the cliff, one contestant refused to jump.
It was Scott, who was very afraid of sharks. "No, I don't want to go, the sharks will eat me," said Scott, holding on to a rock. B started thinking about blowing Scott away, pulled some tools out of his shirt and started carving the rock. But B didn't even have time to finish because Izzy grabbed Scott and kicked him out. Izzy landed in the safety zone, but Scott didn't. A shark came out of the water and bit him on the buttocks. Scott quickly got out of the water

Beardo jumped with a crashing sound but landed on a rock, which hurt him badly, and then fell into the water.
"I refuse to jump, EVIL to jump in the water," said Max, but he stumbled and fell into the water and hit several rocks, hurting badly.
"All right campers, there's only one candidate left. If he agrees to jump, you've won. Don't worry, there's no pressure. Well, there is a bit of pressure! " a dit Chris
B took a long run-up to jump, it was perfect and he landed in the safety zone.
After B jumped in, Chris handed the wheelbarrow to Screaming Gopher and they started singing. The Killer Basses pushed their crates by hand, which was easy for some like Sky, Duncan, Dj and Brick
"At this rate, we won't make it," said Idris.
"Dj, can you carry two crates?" said Ciel.
"Yes, I can," says Dj. He took Dawn's crate, which was the last one. Brick wanted to do the same and took Dave's crate, but he couldn't carry it.
"Sorry, soldier, but I can't do it," said Brick.
"It's okay, I can finish on my own, go help the magician, he's the last one" said Dave. Brick went over to Leonard, who was trying to cast a spell on the box so that it would fly away.
"Soldier, why don't you carry the crate?" said Brick.
"I can use a spell to make it fly," says Leonard.
"I'm not sure that will work, soldier" says Brick.
"Believe me, I'm used to this kind of situation" says Leonard.
"It's up to you, but don't be late" says Brick.
Along the way, an insect bites Brick in the eye.
I'm hit," says Brick. I'm hit," says Brick.
"Well done beginner, you've just learned your first lesson in survival, don't let the bugs bite you. Lesson two, rub your eyes with lemon and sand if the eye swells, it's healed," says Shawn.
"Okay, I'm sorry I worried you," says Brick.
Next, we meet the Screaming Gophers, who had almost arrived at camp, but one of them wanted to go to the bathroom.
"Guys, I have to go to the bathroom," says Sam.
"Can't you hold it?" said Jasmine.
"We've got a good head start, he can go," says Scotte.

While Sam was on his way to the shooting range, Max pulled out a helmet and put it on the head of a passing bear. The bear went crazy and started attacking the Killer Basses.
"WATCH OUT, THERE'S A BEAR," said Dave. The bear grabbed Duncan but hit him in the head. Dawn tried to calm the bear but it hit her, sending her into a crate that destroyed everything in it. While the bear was attacking everyone, Shawn stood in front of it and started imitating a bear, which made it run away.

A word of advice: if a bear is in front of you, do everything you can to scare it away.

Screaming Gopher
Sam came back and started to push his box, but his buttocks started to itch.
"Oh, this is infernal, it's so itchy! Well, I can't take it anymore, I've got to scratch," Sam said.
"Did you squat when you peed?" says Jasmine.
"Yes," says Sam.
"And do you remember what kind of shrubs you were happily watering?" says Jasmine.
"Yes, they were oval and green and everywhere," explains Sam.
"Well, you sprayed poison ivy," says Jasmine.
"That's so funny, I love my show already," says Chris.
"You should go in the water, it'll ease the pain a bit," says Jasmine.
Once the whole team had arrived, Chris asked them to open the boxes with their teeth, but B got out a can opener and opened all the boxes without Chris seeing. in the boxes, they found wooden planks and hammers. B gave everyone tips on how to build the spa.
Once the Killer Bass arrived with their boxes, they had a hard time opening them, but they also noticed that only one was missing.
"Has anyone seen the wizard?" said Duncan.
"Negative soldiers, I'm going to look for him," said Brick.
Leonard hadn't moved since Brick's arrival.
"Soldier, what are you doing? Everyone's waiting for you!" said Brick sternly.
"I'm trying to cast a spell on this crate, but my magic won't work because there's someone who doesn't believe in me" said Leonard.
"If I carry your crate, you'll come with me" says Brick.
Once Brick arrived with Leonard, everyone started yelling at him. After this fight, the team started building their spa, but it was sloppy compared to the other team's. At the end of the challenge, Chris started judging the spa, hit Killer Basse's and it broke.
"I'd like to say it was a tough decision but the win goes to the Screaming Gopher. Sorry Killer Bass but one of you will have to leave the island tonight," said Chris.
Refectory
"We need to decide who we're going to eliminate," says Sky.
"I propose to eliminate the wizard who agrees with me," says Duncan. Idris, Dave and Shawn agree with him.
"What?" asks Leonard. But why?" asks Leonard.
"Because you're the only one who hasn't jumped," says Duncan.
"But Dj hasn't jumped either," says Leonard.
"Yeah, but he's strong, so he'll come in handy later," says Duncan.
"And Bridgette hasn't done much to help you," says Leonar.
"Yes, but I jumped," said Bridgette.
"I have magical powers, I'm the strongest in the team," says Leonar.
"They're the same powers that allowed you to push the crate," says Dave.
"But... but, I'm a magician," says Leonar.
"No, you're just someone who doesn't want to stop playing role-playing games," says Duncan.
Because of his teammate's words, Leonard leaves the dining hall completely saddened.
"You had to say those mean things to her ?" says Sky.
"She's right, you could have said it differently," says Bridgette.
After that, we found Leonard alone in the forest, repeating everything his teammate had said. He wondered if they weren't right.
"Maybe they are right, I... I'm not a wizard" said Leonard.
As he spoke to himself, a voice greeted him.
"Hello Leonard" said the voice.
It was Dawn who had found Leonard.
"It's you Dawn, you scared me" said Leonard.
"Are you all right? "Dawn said.
"To be honest, no! I don't even know who I am or what I am anymore. I'm completely lost" said Leonard.
"Duncan's words were harsh but unfortunately true" said Dawn.
"I suppose you're right, but if I'm no longer a wizard. Who am I?" said Leonard.
"You're Leonard, the boy with a passion for role-playing. You're like this because when you were little, nobody gave you any intentions" says Dawn.
"But how do you know? "says Leonard.
"It appears everywhere in your aura" says Dawn.
"My aura?" says Leonard.
"What I mean is, you don't have to play a role to have an intention, you just have to be yourself. You may not please everyone, but you'll please the right person" says Dawn.
"You're right Dawn, thank you for what you've done for me" says Leonard.
He picks up his fake beard and waves it around.
"I'm the new Leonard" says Leonard, but he's alone because Dawn is no longer with him.
Overnight
The Killer Bass gathered in the bonfire area after the vote. A crackling fire lit up the pitiful faces of the defeated campers. Some of them were carrying chickens, sullen-eyed...
Finally, Chris appeared dramatically from the shadows, holding a plate of marshmallows.
"Killer Bass... In a normal camp, marshmallows are just a delicious treat you like to roast over the fire. At camp, marshmallows are life!" Killer Bass is very uncomfortable. There are ten marshmallows on this plate, but there are eleven of you. When I call your name, come and claim a marshmallow. Any camper who hasn't had a marshmallow. Marshmallow tonight must immediately return to the Dock of Shame to catch the loser's boat. That means... you're out of the contest! And you can't come back!...ever!
Killer Bass grimaces and looks out Dock the shame pier, which has been lit by torches, presumably to enhance the effect of shame on the unfortunates destined to walk there.
The first marshmallow goes to... Sky
Yes!" exclaims the athlete.

"Leonard, you need to go to the dock of shame and take the loser's boat," says Chris.
"I knew that, but I'd like to thank you," says Leonard.
"Thank us? ", says Brick.
"Thanks to you, and especially Duncan, I was able to realize that I'd locked myself into a role. Your words were harsh, but they were beneficial. Thank you all," says Leonard.
"It was so moving, too bad there were no tears, we broke the audience record," said Chris.
"I'm glad you've become a better soldier," said Brick.
"I wish you luck, Leonard," said Bridgette.
"That wasn't my attention," said Duncan.
Leonard gathered his things and headed for the Dock of Shame, smiling and proud of his new personality.

Author's note: So much for chapter 2. I really enjoyed writing it, especially the part with Léonard, as it's one of the first times I've put a message across in my stories. For the challenge part, a few small changes but nothing too crazy. Thank you for reading this chapter, I hope to see you again for the next one.
My opinion of Leonard: To be honest, my opinion of Leonard has changed because I've been able to take a step back from his character now that I see something other than a child who plays too much, and I like him a little more despite his uselessness on Pakitew Island.
