"So, you came here because you've been having nightmares?"

"Y-yes..." Penny spoke solemnly. She looked down. "There was also that I've started to have flashbacks, horrible vivid flashbacks."

"What kind of flashbacks?"

"Flashbacks about...the war. When I used to be a military medic."

"Hmm...tell me more?"

"I've developed severe anxiety, emotional deattachments, and haven't been hanging out with my parents or brother recently."

"Anxiety, emotional deattachments, and isolation...along with flashbacks and nightmares?"

"Yes."

"Can you tell me about your physical symptoms?"

"I've vomited at the sight of blood, even at the fake blood in the anime I watch."

"Hmm, interesting."

An hour of observation later...

"What is it Doctor?"

"You don't need a CT scan, or any other scan at all. I think you have developed a disorder that is called...PTSD."

"PTSD?! What is that? Is it horrible, Doctor?"

"Not exactly. It's more of a mental condition. PTSD stands for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is caused by exposure to traumatic experiences. You had a good family, right?"

"Of course I did. My parents always cared for me, and my little brother was annoying, but other than that, I loved him. I don't recall any other memories that traumatized me when I was a child."

"I believe you probably gained your PTSD from the time you were a medic in the war."

"Well, is there any cure?"

"I'm sorry. There is no cure, but in my opinion, you should get a therapist and lots of rest."

"Well, thank you, sir. I'm glad to know what condition I have. I just hope I'll have the strength to cope with it..."

Penny was looking up a patient's medical records. "Hmm, let's see...Mary Lynn. Diagnosed with a sinus infection. Allergic to penicillin. Seems like she needs an antibiotic."

She looked away from the computer and went over to the medicine cabinet.

"Let's see...ah! There it is!"

Penny pulled out a bottle of medicine. "Mary needs this. She should take the antibiotic drops twice a day. Her sinus infection should be cured in no time!"

Penny placed the bottle in a bag and wrote the prescription. She placed it on the counter. "One down..." Penny sighed. "Many more to go."

"Excuse me?"

A voice chimed in. The voice sounded robotic but friendly. "W-who's there?!"

It came from Penny's computer. A small little desktop pet popped up on Penny's computer screen. He looked like an anthropomorphic golden doodle.

"The name's BISCUIT! AKA, your Biological Intel Super Computer Unit Internet Technology! I am here to help you through the task of Pharmacy!"

Penny looked at BISCUIT, confused and shocked. "What?! No one told me I had a robot assistant!!"

"Apparently, no one has used me, considering there were no pharmacists in Resurgam First Care Hospital. I've been stowed away in the computer for a long time. But now you're here, Dr Mannette!"

Penny was ecstatic, but also very confused at the same time. "So how is this going to work?"

"Well, you can ask me about many things! I can help you pull up medical information, just by you typing in the name of the patient!"

"Sweet! This'll make this much easier."

BISCUIT shook his head.

"Uh uh uh! You have to do at least MOST of the work. There can be people coming in for vaccinations, advising patients, you know it!There's no 'I' in teamwork, you know?"

"Alright. Let's get started." Penny looked at her list. "Let's see...the list says I gotta check with the surgeons."

"What?? But what about me?! Don't tell me I'm going to be left alone again!!"

"Hey, hey! You're still useful!" Penny assured BISCUIT. "Anyways, I'll see you later."

Penny left her office. "BISCUIT's such a funny ai. He'd do great for a fairy companion to my character..."

"Well, well! It's good old Penny Mannette!"

A voice stopped Penny in her tracks. "What...?"

A grown man that Penny had known all too well appeared in front of her. "If it isn't one of my old patients!"

"Dr Cunningham! I-it's nice to see you." Penny expected to see her old doctor that she used to visit at Resurgam First Care Hospital. But she hadn't seen him that much since she became a pharmacist.

"So you became one of us, huh? I gotta say, it must've been some sort of crazy coincidence that we both ended up here."

"Y-yeah..." Penny blushed in embarrassment. "I'm the pharmacist here now."

"How's your PTSD holding up?"

Penny looked down. She knew that Dr Cunningham was going to ask her how's she's doing. "I-it's fine...but it's hard to control at times."

"Anyways, I'm going to the surgery room. I need to check how much medicine must be added to the patient. Do you know who the main surgeon is?"

Cunningham frowned. The only time Penny saw Gabriel frown was when he diagnosed her with PTSD. That meant he was serious. Real serious.

"Penny..." Gabriel spoke, solemnly. "I'm...not sure if you want to talk to him."

"Why not? Everyone here is friendly. Tomoe is kind and Maria is very courageous! I want to talk to everyone here!"

"But Penny...he's different. There's something about him...that no one, not even me would understand."

There was a moment of silence before Gabriel smiled again. "Well, I hope you have a good day."

"Good day to you too, Gabriel." Penny grinned. Though she couldn't shake the feeling of what Dr Cunningham told her...

"There's something about him...no one, not even me would understand."
