"We're going to have a happily ever after, I just know it!" Victoria exclaimed as she happily held her husband's arm.
"Ha! Your life will be full of a misery." A psychic muttered.
"How could you say that!?"
The psychic smiled mysteriously, "Because I know the future."
Victoria scoffed, "The future can't be known."
"Oh, but it is to me. I know your future will be grand. Your birthday will be celebrated and many will know your name. Others will believe your husband isn't worth your time, and that he serves no purpose to your cause. That is until you birth nine children."
"..That doesn't sound too bad.."
"However, your second oldest son will bring shame to the family. To the point that your husband shall lose his life trying to make him change his ways."
"T-That can't be right." Victoria murmured as she held her husband's arm tightly.
"The future is what we make of it." Albert stated, "Our children will do great deeds on their time."
The psychic chuckled, "You have been warned."
Victoria watched her nine children sleep peacefully in their room.
They all had different personalities.
Her oldest daughter, Vicky was a bright young girl. Her intelligence was quite advanced for her age. She loved to learn different languages from French, German, Greek, and Latin. her curriculum included lessons from geography, science, history, literature, and arithmetic. Vicky's father also tutored her in politics and philosophy. She was an excellent student who was eager to expand her knowledge.
Her second oldest son, Bertie was the opposite as he struggled in his educational program.
Then there was sweet Alice. She was quite a compassionate artist.
Plus Affie. A mischievous boy who wants to be part of the Navy one day.
Lenchen was after. She's a tomboy who would rather play soldier than cook. In fact, one time someone tried to bully her- and she punched them on the nose in response.
Louise. She's very pretty. There's worry that rumors may roam around in the future about her having affairs with many men.
Arta. He is well behaved. One day he wants to be part of the army.
Leopold. Quite an adventurous child. Unfortunately, his health is not well.
And finally the baby of the family, Beatrice. She's quite spoiled, but that's to be expected.
Even though the children all had different personalities, Victoria and Albert cared about them in their own way. Sure, they both had their favorites.
Vicky was Albert's favorite. While Arta was Victoria's.
Even so, that didn't mean that their love couldn't be divided to the other children. It's just that it was shown differently.
Well.. that was until..
