Morning soon came and Marco was awake before his alarm went off. He was getting filled with nerves for this surprise day for his boyfriend.
His lover was still dead to the world while he was getting more and more giddy. What should he do. Still an hour left until the alarm. Shower? No already did that yesterday... Prepare for the trip? No... He also made sure everything was ready...
Ace shifted but didn't wake up, rolling over he buried his face in his lovers chest. Seeming to be a happy dream he was having Marco couldn't bear to wake him, so he let him sleep. Marco simply played with ravens hair.
a few minutes before the alarm was supposed to go off, Marco shut it off, choosing to wake his lover up himself in a more gentle way then the blaring noise.
Smiling at his sleeping lover Marco lent down and captured his lips.
Ace shifted in his sleep his arms slowly wrapping around Marco's neck.
After a few seconds Marco pulled back and saw a soft smile on Ace's face, eyes still closed while he tried to hide away in his chest again. He gave a kiss on his dark locks "It's time to wake up Ace, it's almost 8:30"
Ace whined into his lovers chest. "I thought we didn't have to get up early on vacation." He had brought his arms down and wrapped them around Marco's waist.
"Haha I'm sorry-yoi, but I actually have something planned for us to do something today-yoi"
"Mmm," Ace blinked sleepily at him, "something planed? Aren't we going back to the park today? Or around town?"
"We're going back to the park tomorow-yoi, remember-yoi, we planned one free day in between-yoi."
Ace looked up at his boyfriend and backed up slightly to look at him and blinked. "You, okay? Your tic is worse than normal. Like… back when we first started dating."
Curse his tick! "I'm fine-yoi" Damnit! "Nothing is wrong-yo" He bit back his tick as best as he could. Nerves always made it worse, and he was very nervous right now, paying extra attention to his ticks also didn't help them at all. "It's just a bad-yoi day. I'm sorry"
Ace frowned, "well if you say so." He lent up gave him a kiss. "Think you can let me go so I can go to the bathroom?"
"Sure-yoi" he released his hold on Ace so he could get up. Once Ace was in the bathroom, he properly sat up himself and tried taking some calming breaths
Ace had shut the door, some and relieved himself. He smiled thinking back on his wonderful dream. Flushing the toilet, he washed his hands and ran his fingers through his hair.
Marco who had put on fresh boxers had the orange shirt in his hands and looked up at Ace who had come out of the bathroom. Shit.
Walking out of the bathroom, still stark naked as the day he was born, Ace noticed the bright shirt in Marco's hands instantly. "What are you holding, a shirt? You don't own an orange sh-" He stopped walking towards him when he noticed some a very distinct writing style. The style used by a specific amusement park he had wanted to visit at least at some point. "IS THAT DISNEY!?" Ace practically flew across the room, Marco was barely on time to snap their luggage shut again, stopping Ace from reaching for it.
"You saw nothing-yoi." He knew it would never take, but that didn't mean he couldn't still act as if nothing was out of the ordinary.
"Whaaaa, Marco! You, you aaaaaaaaaaaah! I love you so much!" Ace jumped his boyfriend, making him tumble onto the bed before he was being smothered in kisses.
Marco wrapped his arms around his boyfriends waist as Ace held his face kissing him. If Ace kept this up, they might not get to Disney. "Babe," Marco laughed, "you need to put some clothes on." He brought his hands up and held Ace's face. "We have reservations for 10:30."
Ace gave a few more big kisses before getting up and ran towards the little closet in the room to grab boxers and pants. Running back to Marco the next instant to take the shirt that was offered. He beamed at his own chest when he had put it on. "Do you have one too!?"
Marco laughed and pulled on shorts and socks and pulled out his blue t-shirt, that said 'He's my Prince', while Ace's shirt said 'I'm his Prince'.
"Marcoooo~" Ace called out before jumping in his boyfriends arms again. While still hanging around his neck, he leaned back a bit and stroked over the text on his shirt with a finger "T-this is so nice, this is aaah Marco, you're so perfect, I love you! I can't believe we're going to Disney, and we're going to match like I wanted to do, and you had it all planned already and never even said anything!"
Marco could not help but laugh at his boyfriends excitement. "I'm sorry. I wanted it to be a surprise." He looked at his watch. "Let's go brush our teeth. We have a breakfast reservation at 10:30." He kissed him, again before picking him up from his bum and carried him to the bathroom.
Ace laughed and let himself be carried away. Together they brushed their teeth and finished getting ready before leaving the hotel.
Marco made sure they had their rain jackets packed just in case they got more rain and made sure the pictures from the day before from Ace's bag were safely tucked away. They made the 9:15 shuttle and we're on their way. The whole ride Ace was all smiles while holding onto Marco's hands, squeezing them every time they locked eyes, his smile growing brighter every time.
Marco kissed his cheek. "I even managed to get a fast pass to get our pictures taken with Mickey and Minnie. It won't be till later on, but we have that to look forward too as well." "reallyyy!? Oh! We should get some ears for ourselves by then, it would be so cute!"
"Of course." The shuttle soon pulled up to the ticket booth, and Marco lead Ace off. "Want to take the boat or the monorail? The monorail might be faster. But it's up to you if you want to take the boat."
"ehm ehmm... Let's do the monorail. I don't want to get seasick"
Marco nodded and led him to the monorail following the signs.
It was only a short drive before they got into the actual park. Ace's eyes where sparkling with joy, Marco could even see the tremble in his leg of wanting to run around.
He took ace's hand gently and started pulling him towards the restaurant where he has the breakfast reservation. "C'mon Ace, we'll get to see it all later haha"
All Ace could do is look around while Marco booked them. Looking in the window he blinked and blinked again. Wait. "Maaarco! Is that Pooh Bear! We get to eat Breakfast with Pooh?!"
Marco chuckled, "Not just Pooh. Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore too." Ace eyes widen in excitement, as he held his boyfriend held his hand as to stop from running. breakfast
After the staff checked everything and found Marco's name on the list, they opened the door for them to enter.
A few steps in they were greeted by Tigger.
Ace was hugging Marco's arm, "I want to hug him." He whispered, as Tigger stopped at a table for four after Marco made the request if it wasn't too much trouble.
Tigger must have heard him for he turned towards him and spread his arms a bit. For the umpteenth time this day, did Ace's eyes widen. Even if he said it, and Tigger looked to accept it, was touching a character really allowed? He looked towards Marco for some kind if approval of the act
"Go for it." He smiled and took out his phone to get a photo of his boyfriend with Tigger.
Ace smiled and did a super tiny mini run into tiggers arms. He nuzzled a bit into the fur before letting go, smile never leaving his face. He thanked the character before he waved and walked away to greet other people.
He turned to Marco all smiles "hihi, he was so soft!"
Marco chuckled, "Come on let's get something to eat." He wasn't going to toss dirty jokes around in Disney. He wanted this place to stay pure as it could be for his boyfriend. He showed him the picture he took. "We can get one of all the characters."
"Oh, you took a picture, thanks Marco! We gotta get some together too!"
Marco nodded before directing Ace towards the buffet
"It's a buffet! A breakfast buffet?! Marco you really know how to pick these places"
Marco smiled and followed his boyfriend to the buffet. "Just one plate at a time, here alright?"
Ace gave Marco his sad eyes, and pouted. Marco shook his head, and Ace pouted. "Fiiine"
But smiled and they each started to fill a plate each.
Marco shook his head at the stack Ace was making on his plate, maybe he should have put a limit on height too haha
But it seemed Ace was holding back, so all was well, he wouldn't complain about this. He wouldn't want a foul mood too to arise before the big event
They made their way back to their table and started to eat, "We can do pretty much whatever you want to do. If you want to go on the rides hunt down characters. It's up to you. No roller coaster for me though." Marco rubbed the back of his neck not wanting to be sick again.
Ace laughed at his poor love "haha don't worry, no big rides. Hmmm, I do want some pictures with character, but I don't want to spend the whole day searching for like specific ones. We could just maybe go to the once we find randomly?"
"Of course. We can ask a cast member where we can find some." They talked an ate and got pictures taken with the other characters as they came around and Ace hugged all of them and Marco got his photo taken with Tigger when he came back around. After Ace had finished is 6th plate Marco pulled some money out for the tip. He picked up his bag. "Let's go get some pictures in front of the castle."
Ace's smiled widen and nodded excitedly. "Yes!" Before the two made their way out and over down to the castle where people were getting photos taken.
As they walked down Ace noticed people were getting photos taken by employees...or cast members...? "Oh! Let's get some of these taken! Please Marco!"
Marco nodded "Of course! Getting a picture with my Prince in front of the castle would be an honour!" He was starting to get nervous. The line of people was surprisingly not too bad. "I want a picture of you looking over your shoulder at the castle."
Ace blinked and titled his head "looking over at the castle?"
"I want to remember the day you got to come to Disney." Marco rubbed the back of his neck. "Of course, we get one together first."
Ace smiled and nodded. "Okay."
Marco kissed his cheek, "I love you."
Ace giggled and his boyfriend lips teased his cheek. "I love you too."
They were the next in line and they went and stood in front of the castle together, arms behind one another. The photograph took several shoots getting them to hold their hands out and everything.
Marco walked back over to the photograph and requested one of Ace looking at the castle and they nodded Marco pulled a small around ball that was red and white out of his pocket and the photograph got the hint.
Marco walked over and got down on one knee and opened the small red and white ball which held a simple silver band.
"Mar-" Ace turned around and out of the corner of his eyes had seen a fluff of blonde a bit lower to the ground, having automatically looked down he saw his boyfriend on one knee, nervously smiling at him.
"Co?"
And he was holding something, Is that, in his hands. His eyes widened, it couldn't be!
"Ace, I know that we've only been dating for a little over a year, but every single day has been unforgettable, and I wish for these days to continue forever with you by my side."
Ace's eyes were filling with tears, his breath catching in his throat at every word. With trembles in his eyes, he was looking straight into Marco's, filled with so, so much love.
"You've already given me so much joy, taught me so many new things if how to enjoy life, even taught me how to catch these Pokémon creatures. And with this"
He held up the Pokémon shapes ring container a bit higher, "with this I thought I would try and catch my own forever side kick"
Marco took a moment before continuing, letting Ace have a small laugh at his Pokémon confession.
"Will you, portgas D Ace, the love of my eyes, will you please stay with me for the rest of my life and grow old together. My beautiful fire, please marry me?"
Ace was stunned for a small moment, the words repeating themselves over and over before he nodded fiercely "yes, yes, yes, Marco oh my god, yes!"
Marco smiled and put the ring on Ace's left ring finger.
After holding his hand and looking in these beautiful grey eyes for a moment, he made to stand up, only for Ace to practically lift him off his feet himself and fly in his arms, kissing him with so much vigour he didn't know he had.
He could feel how wetness was still trailing down Ace's cheeks, but he could only smile into the kiss.
After the photographer took a few more pictures Marco walked hand in hand with Ace, has he tapped with ticket to make sure he got all the photos. They went and sat down on the grass not too far away. Marco needing to sitting down after just asking the love of his life to marry him. As they were sitting on the grass not too far off Ace leaning on Marco staring at the ring Marco had given him. Ace loved it like he loved Marco. "We should bring our kids here day." Ace said smiling, before his body slowly slump onto Marco falling asleep.
Out of reflex he held out a hand to steady Ace's limp body against him, making sure he wouldn't fall over, but his own mind was playing ace's last sentence on repeat. Specifically, 1 word of that sentence, kids. Kids. Ace said to bring kids here someday.
He wanted... Or was at least thinking of having kids. With him.
He was in shock, but also over the moon. Now that Ace had said yes, and they were engages, he had wanted to bring up the topic at some point of having a kid and not too long away from this point. While he understood Ace was young, he was already getting older. But for Ace to bring it up himself, he couldn't believe it.
He laughed out loud and turned his head to kiss those beautiful dark locks.
Even when his boyf- fiancé woke up a few minutes later, a little confused, the smile never left him, and he made sure to kiss Ace breathless before enveloping him in a hug. While he hadn't explained yet to Ace what was going on, he accepted the kiss and hug with love.
Ace was in a daze with all that had happened. His boyfriend asked him to marry him! He was over the moon! And when Marco kissed him again after he had woken up was great. "What was that one for?" After a minute so he could catch his breath.
"For making me the happiest man ever."
Ace hummed and looked at the ring before looking at Marco. "I feel like this has happened before…"
Marco looked and blinked. "Deja Vu?"
Ace nodded, "that's word! But..." He blushed slightly "we had two kids with us "I don't recall what they looked like, but they were with us."
Marco took ace's hands and kissed his ring. "I wouldn't mind having little yous with us here" smiling at ace but also making sure he knew that he was serious
Ace gave him smile and wrapped his arms around his fiancé.
They sat there for a little whole, enjoying each other's presence while holding onto each other. Often exchanging small kisses and eyeing the ring.
Ace never stopping to rub a finger over it.
At some moment Marco saw some characters walking in the distance and gave Ace a small nudge. "Love, look over there, you want to go? We can start going around the park after and celebrate you being stuck with me forever."
Ace's, widen he saw the characters. "Yes!" He jumped up and helped Marco stand up, before making their way over to see the characters. The two of them stood a line behind kids and other adults. Some had books out to get autographs.
Ace was getting excited for their turn. Marco had to keep him back while the ones in front had their turn. When the cast member indicated they go up Marco let go of Ace's hand as Pluto held their arms out to give a hug, and Ace rushed up to hug him, and Marco followed and got a hug from the giant dog followed up pictures.
As they walked away Ace waved to Pluto and they made their way for a ride. "I wanna see the pictures." Ace hummed as they walked. "I may have gotten the photo package for the day... so, any of the pictures we get taken are included." Marco scratched his cheek. Ace was worth every cent of this trip.
Ace practically jumped on Marco's side, cuddling his whole arms while walking. He nuzzled his face against him "you're so awesome, you prepared so much! It must have taken so much time! I loooovvee youu!"
Marco smiled and kissed his head. "I love you too."
After several hours of walking and waiting in rides Ace looked at the castle, "Can we go through the castle?" Seeing people wall through it.
Marco smiled, "We could, but we have to go inside-"
"Inside?"
"Go in for lunch. Meet some princesses. It's not a buffet though but it's really popular." Marco grinned at him.
"Hmm I can survive a buffet less lunch? Dinner? If we can go into the castle together. It would fit the shirts too haha!"
Marco nodded, "Well... I made reservations at beauty and the beast castle as well for supper." They walked through the bottom of the castle.
"Wellllllll, I can always fit another's restaurant is worth of food you know haha, if it's fine with you. if it's too much we can skip this one since you already prepared for the other"
Marco blinked at his boyf- fiancé. He figured he'd enjoy dining inside the castle and meeting the princess. But if he didn't want to, he'd pay the cancelation fee. "Sure, if you want too. I think you can meet Belle and Beast at the second one."
Ace hummed and nodded "we could get something small, just as a little break maybe and see the inside at the same time."
"We can through but can't go up without a reservation. But we can get a snack and shop. Look at the ride wait times?"
"that's fine too, as long as you're there, everything's like a fairy tale" ace went up on his tiptoes to give a quick peck before standing down again, looking at Marco for his reaction
Marco blinked before laughing and smiling at him. "Anything for my prince." They walked through and, in the windows, they could see little girls getting all dressed up in their favourite princess or little boys be coming pirates.
"This really would be fun to do with our kids" Ace mumbled at the sight they passed
Marco smiled they would have to have this talk with they got home. "What was that babe?"
Pink spread over his cheeks that Marco heard him "huh ow egm nothing ehm... Marco look! Let's go in there!" He pulled at the hand he was holding and walked in front to a nearby ride, it was just a simple teacup ride, but it would do as a distraction
Marco laughed as Ace dragged him to the tea cup ride and they stood in the 30 minute line. "Look there's Alice." Marco pointed to the other side of the ride where Alice was walking around.
"Ooh she looks nice! I really like the mad hatter from Alice and wonderland, he so funn- ah! Hats! Marco! We still need to find ears before we have that reservation with pictures with Minnie & Mickey!"
Marco laughed along with, "Why don't we get a picture with her after the ride if she's still around then hunt down some ears?"
"Yes, yes, good plan!"
Marco smiled and opened up Ace's pack back and pulled out some water. "We need to stay hydrated." Before removing his own bag and pulled out some water to take a drink.
"Ah Thanks Marco!"
Ace accepted the offered bottle and took a large gulp "aaaah, I didn't even notice I was thirsty until now haha" he said taking another sip before closing the bottle and handing it back to Marco to put it back into his bag
Marco smiled and put his bottle of water away, and after a few drinks of his he put it in his own bag. Time passed by quickly and it was soon their turn. "Pick a teacup." Marco said gesturing to the teacups that were filling up another guest.
"Let's go this one!"
He pulled Marco into one and they sat down in a bright orange one.
"We gonna spin?"
Marco laughed and took his seat next to Ace. "Once the ride starts up." They could hear the safety stuff being gone over and being told what do.
Ace already had a hold on the centre plate, ready to turn it the moment the ride started.
When it did, he looked up to Marco with a sly grin.
Marco caught the glance "A-Ace, don't overrea-Aaaah!"
Marco wasn't too good with these rides and had to hold on to the plate as too not fall over in his spot.
For a moment Ace laughed like a maniac, seeing Marco's spirit leaving his body as he held on for dear life. He did slow down a bit so the blond could enjoy the ride too, and not vomit after a teacup ride
Marco held onto Ace as the ride went on.
"Isn't this fun!" Ace yelled over the noise, taking a hold of Marcos shoulders with one arm, while the other kept spinning the disc at a more leisure's pace.
Marco lent into Ace. He couldn't wait for the ride to be over.
A few minutes later they slowly came to a halt. Ace hoisted Marco a bit onto his shoulder while he carried some of his way and led him to a small bench nearby, placing him on it before sitting next to him.
"I'm sorry babe, are you okay? We'll do slower things now, okay?"
Marco gave a shaky laugh and slide is bag off. He held his head. "Can you get the motion sickness meds for me? And my water?"
Ace frowned a bit but did take the stuff asked and handed it to him, watching Marco take the meds. It made him feel a bit bad. He didn't want to make Marco actually sick from this.
Marco gave him a smile. "I'm okay. Just dizzy. I'll be okay love." Before he took another sip of his water.
Ace hummed and carefully, as to not knock against the bottle, put his arms around Marco, hugged his waist from the side, hoping for him to feel better soon.
After a few minutes he didn't feel as dizzy. "Want to get a picture with Alice?" as he put the cover back on his water bottle.
Ace placed his chin on Marco's shoulder to look up at him "are you sure? We can sit down for a bit longer if u want to"
Marco smiled and lent over for a kiss which Ace happily accepts, "I'll be okay. After all we still need to find ears."
"Alright, but tell me if you want to rest okay"
"I will."
He smiled and let go of Marco's waist. Getting up he held out his hand for Marco to take. Using it to pull him up bit also keep them linked while seeing if Alice was still nearby
Marco pulled his bag on and held onto Aces hand. Alice was off to the side getting pictures with some adults.
Getting closer they also asked for some pictures after the other group was done.
Alice happily agreed and Marco and Ace got on either side of her to take pictures. She looked at Aces shirt "Will you become his king?" She asked titling her head to the side.
Ace blushed and nodded "y-yea, he asked me earlier" he replied while squeezing Marco's hand.
Marco squeezed Aces hand in response. Alice clapped her hands, "Oh what fun! Congratulations!" She made eye contact with the photographer. Before going back to talking. When they were done Marco went to tap his ticket for the photos, and the photograph gave him two 'FREE EARS' and had made a note that they had just gotten engaged.
Marco was surprised at receiving it and heartily thanked them. With a small goodbye and a wave, the photographer and Alice walked on towards some other guests.
"What did you get Marco?"
Marco smiled and showed Ace, "We got Free ears coupons for each of us." He pointed to the little note on them.
"wha- no way!" Ace took Marco's hands to see the papers better. "that's so nice! I didn't even know they could do that! This is awesome!"
"I didn't either." He kissed his cheek. "Let's go find some and then let's get a snack?"
"Yes, let's go!" Hands intertwined they walked around, looking into shops if they could see the distinctive ears. Ace making up a small chants about the ears ad they went
Marco who just wanted to capture those lips but didn't. They soon found an ear shop and went inside
They stood before the ear stand, there were some different themed ones.
"Hmmmm, should we just go for the classics?"
They walked through the busy store, and something caught Marco's eye. A nice pair of orange ears with a bow. 'Those would cute on him' Marco thought to himself and picked them up and turned to Ace and blinked he wasn't there. "Where did he..." Marco looked around for his raven haired man.
At the other side if the store Ace had found his own pair of ears, he thought was perfect for Marco. When he was on his way to the other, he saw him looking around, probably searching for him. He smirked and sneaked up on him, ones behind him he placed the ears he had gotten on him "Tadaaa!"
Marco spun around and smiled at him and laughed. He placed the ears he found on his head, and they did a great job of keeping his hair back showing off his cute freckled.
Ace laughed at the fact they had both gotten ears for the other without even discussing it. He pulled Marco a bit towards the side so they could both look into a mirror.
"Awww you got me Minnie ones, and orange! These are so cute!"
Marco chuckled, "and you got me the Mickey Sorcerers ears." He smiled and bent down and gave him a kiss. "I love them. And those look great on you."
Ace giggled and thanked Marco before hugging him, putting his chin on his chest to look up. "I had to get those one's for you" he smiled brightly "I'm sure you've put a spell on me!" He gave a laugh and leaned up for a quick again.
As they left after getting their ears they got a snack, each a Mickey ice cream bar. Marco took a picture of Ace biting into the ear.
He was focusing on his delicious ice cream, so he didn't even notice his fiancé had his phone out, he did hear a whispered 'adorable'
Switching the ice cream from one hand to the other he licked some fingers clean and look to his partner "what's adorable? The ice? I guess they are haha"
Marco ate his ice and watched Ace lick the white ice cream ofc his fingers. Oh. "It is. But so are you." He smirked. "You got some white stuff on the corner of your mouth." He whispered to Ace.
"Help me clean it?" Ace innocently turned his head, but a devilish glint could be seen behind those eyes
Marco smiled and lent over and gave him a kiss.
"Thank youuu~"
Marco smiled and finished his Ice cream bar. "Ready to see Mickey & Minnie?" For some reason it was the first time that day he felt like someone was burning holes into his soul.
Because they be hateful people with a stick shoved up their asses
"Yea sure let's go."
Getting up Ace, as he had done all day, reached out a hand that Marco took gratefully. He wouldn't let others ruin his day. He did sigh internally because the man that had been staring at them was of course standing where they had to pass, at least Ace hadn't noticed it.
Marco was thankful for Ace, for either ignoring it or not to notice. As they walked by the man with his wife and young kids "-filthy pieces of garbage." Marco had kept on walking ignoring the man because it wasn't worth messing up such a great day for them. And getting kicked out of the park.
By now he did know Ace had heard and knew it was against them, for the hand in his grip tightened after the words were said and his movement got a bit slower.
He pulled Ace further without looking back until they got to a new part of the park.
"Let's go meet Mickey and Minnie." Marco said smiling towards Ace, as he led them to the meet and great.
Ace silently nodded, giving a small smile back and let Marco led him to the place they needed to be. He would try and not let it bother him. The mad doesn't know what he's talking about. Marco's the best thing that ever happened to him!
Before they got inside Marco stopped next to the building. He brought his hand up and cupped Ace's chin in his hand, bent down and kissed his.
After breaking the kiss, Ace looked at him with moist eyes and hugged Marco tightly. He wouldn't cry. No. It was a good day, a great day. He's spending the whole week with the love of his life, and he had gotten engaged to the very same person! Everything was good! ... He just needed a moment to just hug and collect himself.
Marco wrapped his arms around Ace and held him for a few minutes and kissed the top of his head. "I love you. Forever. "
Ace sniffed and pulled back, wiping his eyes before looking up with a new smile "I love you to, forever, so, so much"
Marco smiled and wiped away the last of his tears with his thumb he fixed Ace's ears tucking hair behind his ear. "Ready to get in line?"
"Yea, I'm good. Let's meet the main characters!"
Marco smiled and took his hand and walked inside to get in line to meet the main characters.
While it looked busy, thanks to Marco's reservation, they didn't need to wait too long, and it was soon their turn to take some pictures.
After they got their pictures, they walked around. "It's done Hunted Masion then Pirates of the Caribbean." Marco suggested, we still have about 2 1/2 hours till supper."
Marco said smiling
"Oh yes, let's go!"
They walked hand in hand to their next ride it wasn't a very long wait, before they were let inside to enjoy the ride. As they got in their cart Marco got in first followed by Ace. Then the ride started. Ace jumped with the cart suddenly took a small dive and held Marco's hand. Marco simply brushed his thumb over his knuckles as the ride proceeded. Marco jumped at one point near the end. When the ride came to an end Marco slide out with Ace holding his hand.
"We may have time for one more ride if you want, or would you rather search for some more characters before we head for dinner?" Marco asked as they exited the mansion
Ace hummed and smiled "let's make our way there if we come across characters let's get our pictures taken!" Marco nodded and they walked hand in hand.
They slowly made their way towards the fantasyland-zone, where beauty and the beast were located. They passed the Peter Pan's Flight which made Ace stop, it should be more of a story telling ride than anything else, something calm Marco may enjoy, and the line didn't look too bad either.
"You want to go on it?" Marco asked looking down at him "we have time."
Ace nodded and together they made their way over.
The ride was indeed a peaceful one. The carts still kind of flew, they were off the ground, which was fun, but they didn't go to fast, so you had time to watch the small scenes of Peter Pan.
"When I was a kid, I wanted to be I pirate when I grew up." Marco said as they walked off
Ace laughed "conquer the sea and steal treasure? Well, we can conquer some water rides tomorrow if the weather allows it and" Ace took a fast, big step forward to get in front of Marco, walking backwards as they went and made a motion for his heart "you already stole my heart!"
Marco smiled. "We'll see. Maybe we will do a rest day." Marco smiled and reached for his left hand before bending down and kissing it. "You stole mine first."
Ace giggled and happily went back to walk beside him, swinging their linked arms together "pirate life together doesn't sound too bad! Oooh we would need some cool pirate names!"
"And what would we call ourselves my pretty little firefly?"
"Hmmm hmmmmmmmm you need something bird themed, since you like birds and I hmmmmm I want something with fire! Gotte go like woooosh!" He acted as if hitting something with his free hand "throw fire... Somehow haha!" He hummed thinking some more "are there birds on fire? We could match then in pirate looks."
Marco was laughing as his adorable raven-haired man. "Phoenixes have fire."
Ace gasped at Marco's answer "a Phoenix! Oh my god, that's so cool! Yes! You- yes, you'll be Marco The Phoenix! Ahah doesn't that sound awesome! Oh, but you gotta be a blue Phoenix, because it's your favourite colour, and it will match your eyes haha!" He hugged Marco's side thinking of his pirate life "you got be known for like always getting back up! Like phoenix revival!"
Hugging his fiancé laughing, "And I'll heal all your injuries my firefly. "
"awwwwww, my hero! Even if we're pirates haha"
Marco laughed, and they walked up to the restaurant not coming across any other characters.
"Hmm, are we okay on time to enter already? Or do we need to wait?"
Marco looked at his watch "were early. Maybe we can get in?" He went to book them in and came back and sat down holding a small black square. "When our table is ready, they will buzz us in."
They sat for a while, having some small talk about their day when the black square suddenly started buzzing.
Ace jumped up from his seat as him and Marco had their way inside, Marco handing the black square back to the host, as someone else led them to their seat.
Tapping his hands on the table ace was looking all around. "These places are always decorated so pretty!"
"I know right?" They were brought their menus to look over.
"we're doing a full course? Or only main meal?" Ace looked up, not wanting to start ordering too much if that wasn't the plan
"Full course. So, one appetizer, one main meal and a dessert." Marco smiled
Smiling back Ace started pointing at some things, asking Marco's help in some more final decisions before placing their orders.
"Why not get the assorted meats and artisanal cheese? I'm going to get the country seasonal salad."
Ace nodded, "Okay. I think I might have the tenderloin. "
Marco smiled, "that sounds great. I'm going to have filet mignon."
"Oh, that sounds good too." Ace looked between the two and frowned. "You know I'd share with you." Marco said looking at him and smiled.
Ace smiled back at Marco "thanks! You're the best! Hmm dessert, I am going for the vanilla cake with lemon curd. You?"
"I'm going to have the chocolate tart."
Smiling again Ace called for the waiter and gave him their orders for the course. The waiter thanked them before returning to the kitchen.
Marco kept glancing at the ring Ace now wore. It made him so happy that they would be getting married, even if it was only a year after them dating. He wanted to start planning as soon as possible but that could wait till they got home.
Ace noticed the glances and smiled brightly, lifting up his hand to give the ring a kiss with a laugh. "Forever together! oh-" Ace hummed looking at Marco's hands "Marco? Don't you have a ring too? Like for weddings both will have a ring, right?"
"Hmm, at the wedding yes, we'll both give each other a ring. But it doesn't work like that for engagements, of course you can do whatever you want, but normally only the one who is proposed to has a ring. So, I don't have one."
Ace pouted at that "but how will everyone know you're mine!"
Marco blushed slightly at Ace saying he was his. "Well... you can get me ring...?"
He rubbed the back of his neck
Ace made a small gasp, barely able to catch himself from yelling a positive answer but did still sound very excited.
"Yes Marco! You're a genius! We gotta go to a shop after, wait no, no you can't see what I'm getting you! oh and I need your ring size. do you know it? You think they could measure it without showing the ring? ... How did you even get my ring size?"
Marco gave a light laugh, "well... I just winged it. An old saying is your shoe size is your ring size... so I just went with that..."
"Ooh... Marco give me your shoe"

Ace squinted his eyes and looked at his feet "you didn't check, you're sure it's up to date?"
Marco chuckled. ,"Babe, all my shoes are a ten. If you get it a bit bigger, we, have it adjusted."
Ace inspected him a moment longer before laughing ang going back to his food "I shall believe you!"
Marco laughed and went to eating to. He cut a small piece of his filet mignon and held it out for Ace to take a bite.
Ace saw the fork being extended to him and happily leaned forward to take it, holding his cheeks as he chewed before swallowing "that's so good! You want a taste of mine too?"
"Sure." And Marco lent forward and opened his mouth.
Smiling Ace quickly put a piece he had already cut before on his fork and fed his fiancé just like he had done to him.
Marco smiled and chewed, before swallowing., "that's really good."
"I know right! They even get close to Thatch's skills!"
Marco nodded his head. "Yea."
"We shouldn't say anything to Thatch maybe, he'll be jealous hahaha"
Marco laugher and agreed.
Even though Ace ate a bit slower than usual, he was still finished earlier then Marco and simply took the time to look at him. He was sure he would never get tired of the sight. Marco noticed at some point and looked up questionable at the gaze, but Ace simply smiled at him. Finishing their food Marco called the waiter for the checks and paid them. "Shall we head to see beauty and the beast for a moment before leaving? Even though they've been walking around, we can take a picture with them too were they're at now."
"Yea, let's get a picture!" Ace smiled a stood up and held his hand out to Marco who happily took it. They made their way over it where Belle and Beast taking pictures.
Ace once again made sure to hug the characters, belle of course more gently than beast, even patted the fur a bit after. Having their pictures taken they thanked them and walked out of the restaurant. "Okay, Marco, jewellery shop, now!"
Marco chuckled and the two walked around, "Hold you darling." Marco said and wrapped an arm around his waist, as they were outside the jewellery store.
"Oh yes! perfect! hmm wait, you can't see what I'm getting." Ace held Marco's hand on his waist and looked around the area, spotting if there was a place where he could dump his fiancé for few minutes.
Marco smiled and kissed his cheek. "Just be careful. You only had one attack do far today, and it's been a long day." He released Ace as he took a seat on the bench outside of the store.
"Don't worry Marco! It won't be long, what's the chance it would happen in the store haha, I'll be back in a bit, don't try to sneak a peek!"
"I'll be right here." Marco called out to him as Ace went into the store to browse.
Walking into the store, he was greeted by the staff. even for Disney this store looked a lot fancier and more professional than the others, probably because it was purely a jewellery store. He doesn't really know a lot for jewellery, he saw some rings in the distance, but they were in the female section, does that matter? The staff that greeted him probably noticed and walked a bit closer.
"Good evening, sir, is there may be anything I could help you with?"
"Ah ehm yea, I am actually looking for an engagement ring." he said while playing with his ring.
"I see that you're wearing a ring yourself already, were you asked yourself? Do you want to give one back? And also, it is for a female or male partner?" Ace blushes, still not used to actually telling people he's engaged "y-yea, he proposed this morning, and I wanted him to have a ring too so... so, people know we're together. And he's male..." He was a bit nervous to mention the gender after the earlier incident, but the staff just smiled and didn't seem to react bad at all, they genuinely seemed happy for him.
"Oh congratulations, how wonderful! Do you maybe want to match the one you have so it looks like a pair?"
"That's possible? That would be really nice! Oh, he has foot size 10"! he said it would help to mention or something"
The staff laughed for a moment "haha yes, generally the foot size and ring size are around the same, thank you for mentioning it. Then, please follow me."
Ace followed the staff to look at a wide variety of rings trying to find the perfect one for his love. "Did you want one with his birth stone?" Ace looked to the staff member and to the rings that had stones on them.
"Their pretty... but he's a doctor so they would get in the way..." he looked at some that had no stones at all, realizing that Marco would probably like one without the stones. "No stones please."
The staff nodded and picked out several silver bands that matched his but all in different widths. "Which one do you like the best?"
He looked at the rings. Some of them seem so fine that wouldn't work for Marco he pointed to one near the end of the selection. "This one please!"
The staff nodded and pulled it out and places the others away, before bring Ace over to the cash and gently placing the ring in a box and doing up a little bow. "Will that cash or card sir?"
Ace's cheeks flushed when he was called sir. "Oh... card please."
"Your total is $230."
That was so expensive, but it's for Marco! Marco's worth every penny in the world! He nodded and handed over his card for the lady to finish the transaction. Right as the employee was handing his card back, he could feel how his body started to feel woozy, shit. He doesn't know how much came out, but he tried to mumble a 'sleep attack' before he dropped to kind of warn the staff and hopefully maybe scare them less...
"Sir?" the staff called out for the freckled man as he didn't seem to react to her reaching the card out, then he suddenly babbled something about sleep and attack before he suddenly dropped to the ground "Sir!" she called out and quickly placed all the item down and went around the counter, kneeling beside the raven as she pressed a button to page the medical team. All staff had to follow a basic first aid class so while waiting she removed the backpack and put it aside before carefully positioning the man on his back and freed the arm he had falling on, checking if she could see anything wrong.
Doing so she noticed a bright orange bracelet, noticing the rod of Asclepius on it she quickly said what it said "Narcolepsy? What I-"
"Hello?"
"Over here, by front of the counter!" she called over to the ones that had entered from the back, probably the medical team.
They walked around and were next to her in an instant "What happened?" one asked while checking for breathing and pulse.
"I had checked rings with him, nothing seemed off, and now when we finished the transaction he just dropped. I did notice he is wearing a medical bracelet, it says Narcolepsy on it. I don't know what that is though."
"Aaah, okay, then he's most likely experiencing a sleep-attack. It's normal for a Narcoleptic person. Was he with someone?"
"Huh, yea, he got engaged this morning he told me, so I expect his fiancé to be with him close by."
"Could you check outside if someone is there? Sometimes these attacks can take a while and he may get worried, we can also ask him if anything else is going on. In the meantime, we'll check if he's gotten hurt in his fall or not."
"Of course, I'll be right back." Getting up she was on her way to go outside, before quickly walking back and putting the package with the ring and his card in the man's backpack, if it was a surprise, she wanted to help the man keep it a secret and since it was already paid for, everything was fine to put it away.
Walking outside she looked around and saw a lone blond sitting on a bench nearby, wearing a matching shirt to the one who was inside. She smiled a bit, it was always fun to see new love. She walked over, grabbing the man's attention. "Excuse me."
"Hmm yes, hello-yoi?"
"I'm sorry if I am wrong, but do you have a fiancé with dark hair and freckled that was just in the jewellery shop over there?"
"Yea? is everything alright?"
"Yes, don't worry, he seems fine, it appears he had an attack from his ehm Narcopepsi?"
"Narcolepsy"
"Ah yes, I am sorry, I hadn't heard of it before, so I called the medical team, they are with him right now but have confirmed it is most likely a sleeping-attack. Would you wish to come inside? The medical staff said it could be a while before he wakes up. Oh, and since he was alone, I've put away what he bought, and his card in his backpack, since we had just finished the transaction."
"Thank you very much, I'm sorry to scare you, it's been a long day, so I was kind of expecting an attack it some point. I would love to come inside."
Nodding the staff lead the blond inside, she noticed the medical was no longer in sight, just as the raven-haired man. "They probably deemed it safe to move him and put him in the small lunchroom for staff, it has a small couch. follow me." She led Marco behind the counter and trough the corridor.
Entering a room, he could see a medical member next to his past-out fiancé on the couch.
"Hi, are you with him?"
"Yes, he's my fiancé"
"Okay, you probably know of his condition then, we have confirmed that it's a normal sleeping-attack and have checked for injuries from his fall. Besides a small bruise on his elbow, there's no injuries anywhere. We've placed him on the couch to be a bit more comfortable until he wakes up. If you would like we could bring him to the medical facility too, then we will call for a stretcher."
Marco shook his head. "No that's okay. Thank you for looking after him." He knew Ace wouldn't want to wake up in another medical facility. Sitting in the floor next to Ace till he woke up.
"Alright, then we'll take our leave, if you need us, you can ask the staff to page us, and we'll be back as soon as we can." Marco nodded in thanks before they left.
"There's some water in the mini fridge over there" the lady from the store pointed over "feel free to take some. Will you be fine here? I can stay, but then I would need to close the store for a little."
"No please, it's fine, I'll stay with him in here if it's fine, I'll call should there be anything."
"Alright. I hope he'll be fine soon." she mentioned and left to attend to the store again.
Marco gently untangled Ace's hair with his finger, looking lovingly at him, he looked so peacefully even if he just dropped in the middle of a store. It was nice to hear the bracelet did kind of work, so he wasn't brought to another medical canter. It was 30 minutes later that Ace showed signs of waking up, it really had been a long day for him for the attack to be this long, maybe they shouldn't stretch it too long anymore.
"Hey babe." Marco kissed his hand, when his eyes started to flutter open. He was opening to watch the fireworks, but they could always plan it another time when they came here next.
Ace squinted his eyes, everything was still a bit blurry, he was so tired, but he did recognise the obvious tuft of blond "Marco?"
"Hey love." He brushed his hair out of his face. "You alright?"
Ace blinked a few more times, clearing his view a bit to see Marco's worried look. "I'm...I'm fine, I'm just still a bit tired, I'm sorry, you even warned me of an attack and here I go, dropping again."
Marco gave him a small smile, "it's been a day. Do you want to stay for the fireworks? Or did you want to go back to the hotel? It's only an hour till they start up and run for about 20 minutes."
It took a moment for the words to process before he answered. "I want to stay... watch them... with you. But" he yawned before continuing "maybe not do any more rides or character hunts. Oh, the ring, I paid?"
Marco nodded, "That's fine. And yes, the cashier put the ring in your bag along with your card." He helped him slowly sit up.
Ace let himself be helped up and put his arms around Marco's neck, leaning into him and putting his forehead on his shoulder when he was upright, breathing softly "oh, that's, that's nice."
"Want a piggyback to where the fireworks will be?"
He nuzzled a bit into Marco's neck before pulling away with a tired smile "That would be wonderful. I don't know how far I'll made it on my own."
Marco nodded and kissed his head before removing his backpack and placed it on his chest. "Let's get you some water first." He opened Ace bag and took out he bottle and gave it to him.
"Thank you" he took a few sips before handing it back to be put away. When Marco turned around and crouched in front of him, he wrapped his arms around his neck and let his legs be grabbed and pulled around Marco's waist. "Ah, I gotta thank the lady from the store, before we leave."
"Absolutely." Marco said and made his way to leave, heading back into the store.
The lady saw them come out the back and went up to them. "Is everything alright?"
"Yes, he's fine, he's just still a bit tired, the reason I'm carrying him. Ace-love, here's the lady that helped you."
"Huh?" Ace raised his head from Marco's shoulder, searching for the lady "Ah, hello, I am sorry for the scare, I didn't mean to. Thank you very much for helping, with everything."
The lady smiled at him, "Well I'm glad you're okay. And congratulations again." She smiled, and picked up a coupon and made a little note. One free apparel or plush under $49.99. "Here you go dear." She handed to Ace.
"Oh, thank you!" He smiled as big as he could at her, even if he knew he would still look very tired. the lady smiled back and wished them well for the rest of the day. Outside the shop Ace put his cheek on Marco's shoulder again and handed him the coupon to put in his pockets and laughed a bit "Haha, I've never gotten this much free stuff from falling asleep."
Marco laughed, "And we got free ears for being engaged." Marco carried him on his back down the street to the castle and found a free spot on the grass and took a seat. There were lots of people around.
"Haha true" Ace crawled from his back and took a moment to look at Marco before deciding to crawl back on him, but this time on his front, he leaned against him "Is it okay if I sleep a little? Until they start?"
"Of course, babe," he wrapped his arms around his waist and kissed his head.
"Thank you" He was already drifting off in the warm embrace. "Wake-Wake me up when it almost time"
"Will do."
A gentle breathing and soft snores where the only answer he got in return.
Marco rested his head on Ace's it was starting to get darker out and the lights on the castle were lighting up. "Ace. It's going to start in a few minutes."
Hearing the voice in his ears Ace brought up a hand to wipe at his eyes, rubbing the sleep out. He looked up and saw the castle lights "wow, that's so pretty~ I would think I was still asleep haha" He leaned back a bit and turned his head to see Marco "Good evening" he said with a smile, still looking a bit tired.
Marco smiled and kissed his head. "After the show we can go and use your coupon."
Ace gratefully accepted the kiss and nodded before turning around to face the castle. Not long after the fireworks started, it was breathtaking, his still drowsy state may make it dreamier then, but it was still beautiful. about 10 minutes in he realised he had been playing with Marco's fingers on his waist and remembered the ring. He slowly reached for his backpack that Marco had put in his lap a bit earlier and searched in it till he found the box and took the ring out, placing the box back in his backpack. "Marco, give me your hand left hand."
Marco seemed a bit confused, understandable since he had been playing with his hands before, so he had it already but well, he needed it not grasping to him. As a reply Marco released one hand and held it up a bit, tilting his head as if to ask if this was okay. He smiled and took it, kissing it before spreading Marco's fingers. He raised the ring and gently slid it over his ring finger... is what he would have liked to happen. In his drowsy, tired state, it took him a few tries to actually put the ring on the right finger. Not only having missed it, but also having placed it wrong too, but in the end, he got it and gave a small cheer before looking back at his lover. "Hihi, now it shows that you're really mine too, love you~"
Marco captured his sleepy man's lips in his own loving him so much.
Ace smiled into the kiss, loving the touch of this man so much. After it ended, they looked into each other's eyes for a moment before he went to settle down again, enjoy the rest of the fireworks. "Oh wait." He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and opened the camera app, making sure night resolution was on. He grabbed Marco's left hand with his own and brought it higher up in the air "Marco, spread your fingers a bit" When he did, Ace did the same and put his smaller hand onto Marco's bigger one. Making sure both rings were visible he took a picture with the fireworks in the background.
Marco smiled, "You're a genius."
"hihi, I learned from the best!"
Marco smiled as Ace took the pictures. A young girl came over, and asked if they would like a photo together.
"That would be very nice-yoi"
The girl took Ace phone and took a few pictures and handed it back to him. "Would it be alright if I took some with my camera? I can email them to you." Marco blinked along with Ace.
They held a silent conversation before accepting it. Ace giving his streamer email, it was openly available on the internet if fans wanted to send a message, so it wasn't really private anyway
She took a few photos of them and gave them her email, and winked, "I work here to too." She looked over her shoulder the man who had insulted them before was on the side of the yard. "I'm really sorry about my uncle. Congrats on your engagement. I'll send those off to you tomorrow." She looked at Ace, "I'll be sure not to tell any of your fans either about your engagement. Can't wait for your next stream."
Ace blushed and stuttered a bit, never having met a person that watched his streams in real life, besides Marco of course "A-ah ehm T-thank you ehm and ah thank you for watching them" Marco ruffled Ace's hair a bit before looking at the girl too. "Thank you, it means a lot that you came for this. And also thank you very much for the pictures, and supporting my lovely fiancé with what he loves to do."
She smiled, "Well it's not every day I meet my favourite streamer and take the engagement photos."
Marco blinked. "Wait you're the one who took our photos?"
She nodded and rubbed the back of her head "You make a lot of people happy. Don't stop doing what love."
Ace blushed slightly. "Uh... do... do you want a picture?" The girl's eyes widen "Omg that would be amazing!"
Marco grinned as the two took a quick picture. "Thank you!" Ace waved as she went back to her family, and they went back to watch what was left of the fireworks.
As he had woken up a bit more thanks to the interaction with the girl, he was playing with Marco's hands as the fireworks finishes and the people around were slowly leaving the area. He turned around in Marco's lap to face him, kissing him before pulling back "thank you, thank you so much for today, and all the future days we'll have together, I never- I never imagined any of this, you've made me the happiest person in the world."
Marco smiled and kissed him, "You've made me the happiest man in the world by saying yes." And kissed him again
With a love filled smile Ace stood up, but only after having gotten dozens of kisses and helped Marco get up too. "let's go get a narcolepsy free plushy haha"
Marco laughed and stood up with him and they made their way down with the flow of the crowd. "Do you want to hit up one more ride before we leave after we get your plush? Pirates of the Caribbean seems like a good way to end this night."
"Sure! and you can choose the plushy! I already got the free spiderman haha"
"You sure?" He already had an idea on a plush that he wanted to pick up.
Ace hummed and nodded "yea!"
Marco smiled and nodded and took his and ducked into one of the shops. It was pretty crowded but still. They walked hand in hand up two the plushies and Marco picked up a Stitch plushy, and showed it to Ace.
"Ooh Stitch! Ohana means family haha, it's cute!"
"Yea it's probably my favourite Disney movies." He hugged it, "I've been considering getting 'Ohana' tattoo for a while."
"Really!? Where would you want it? It would be cool! Oh, we could watch it tomorrow from bed if we do a lazy day"
Marco smiled at his man, "I'm not sure yet. Maybe my shoulder?" They went to the counter and Ace handed the coupon over and they were handed the receipt, and they left. "Thank you, babe." He nodded in agreement. "Yea we should."
"I would make sure to kiss it every morning and night! lovely meaning!" they got in line at their last ride of the day after a short walk. Marco making sure he secured stitch in his bag
"Hopefully we don't get too wet," Marco said as their boat set said with others on it.
"Even if we do, I wouldn't mind another hot shower with you"
"Any shower with you is good enough for me."
"Hmm may have to take one either way because it sounds lovely" they both laughed a bit before focusing on the ride. shower thoughts were for later
Marco laughed and wrapped his arm around Ace as the ride went on. It soon finished and they got off the ride and went to the gift shop. Marco went with Ace to get their pictures. "Do you want anything pirate themed?"
"Nah, I'm good, I got my very own pirate right next to me, don't I, Marco The Phoenix"
Marco laughed and pulled out his jacket "and I got my Firefly."
"Pirate duo haha" Ace smiled and got his own jacket to put on, before he could finish Marco turned to him and pulled his hood over his head before pulling the strings to make it tighter. He was on his way to complain when a kiss silenced him and he saw Marco smiling at him afterwards while holding out a hand, ready to conquer the drizzle that had started to fall.
As they made their way to the gate, Marco looked at him, "Let's take the monorail back." He pulled out his phone and ordered an Uber to meet them on the other side.
"Okayyyy" They was still a small bit of time before the actual closing of the park, so the monorail wasn't that crowded. Making it to the end, their Uber was already waiting for them, there were shuttles to their hotel but with the weather maybe turning bad, Marco didn't want the chance for his fiancé to stand out in the rain to wait for one. Getting in they were soon dropped off at their hotel
Getting back to their hotel room Marco took his jacket off and placed his bag on the ground "how about that shower then some cuddles?"
Ace mirrored him in taking off his stuff "that sounds good" Since the bathroom isn't that big, they got undressed in the bedroom part before going into the bathroom together. "Ah wait, can we wear the rings in the shower? It won't damage them?" Ace didn't wanna destroy it on the first day he had it.
Marco smiled as he got the water running. "They'll be fine." He put some towels next to the shower.
ones the temperature was good they stepped in, almost hugging from how close they had to stand to fit. "I'll wash you! Gotte take care of my future husband!" Ace smiled widely while taking a loofah in his hands, holding it under the water before adding some soap onto it.
Marco smiled and let him wash, "and I'll take you once we're done." He gave a grin and lent down to kiss him.
Ace blushed madly and nodded after the kiss after which he focussed on his task of scrubbing his lover clean in all nooks and crevices.
Marco had bent down for Ace to wash his hair before Marco started washing Ace's body.
Ace melted feeling the hands on him, gliding over his skins. Feeling the colder metal, the bumps on his body made him smile every time. "Marco, we should finish up, I don't think I'll be able to stay awake much longer"
Marco kissed his head and turned the water off. "Let's dry off and get to bed." He reached for a towel and wrapped it around Ace then another one for himself.
Stepping out first he held out a hand for Ace to take, helping him to make sure he didn't slip, you never knew when an attack would hit if he already said he was tired himself.
Ace took his hand stepping out of the shower and smiled at his pineapple fiancé. "Thank you."
"No problem" He gave a freckled cheek a quick peck before towelling him down and making him sit on the toilet seat after while he dried himself. It was a good choice since by the time he was done Ace's head kept falling down before he looked up again trough squinted eyes

After Marco tucked him in, he closed the curtains and turned off the light. Not long after he settled into the bed behind his fiancé, spooning him and putting his arms around him. He gave a soft kiss to the back of his head "I love you so much, goodnight my fire."
