Foreword: Time for the Android Saga to begin! Let's see how this pans out for the Z fighters with their new techniques.

3 years have passed since the warning about the Androids happened and the Z-fighters are waiting on top of a plateau overlooking South city, Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and Bansuri arriving together first with Krillin, Tien, Chiaotzu and Yamcha using Instant Transmission to arrive next.

Tien: "Any sign of trouble yet?"

Goku: "Not yet but it's good to see that you guys have a good handle on Instant Transmission. Handy right?"

Yamcha: "Super handy, I don't have to act like pictures of me flying around are edits any more!"

Chiaotzu: "It's your own fault for getting famous"

Krillin: "He's got a point you know"

Yamcha opens his mouth to argue, pauses, closes his mouth and narrows his eyes.

Yamcha: "...Fair"

The group are interrupted by Bulma flying toward the group in her car with a blue haired toddler in her arms, prompting Bansuri to raise an eyebrow at the baby.

Bansuri: "Belated congratulations on having a child"

Bulma: "Thanks Bansuri, by the way guys, did you forget something?"

Bulma holds up a bag of Senzu Beans then throws the bag to Bansuri who quickly pockets the bag and gives an appreciative nod at the scientist.

Yamcha: "I'm pretty sure at least 3 of us can heal, why bother with the beans?"

Bulma: "Does the Healing Technique recover stamina?"

Yamcha: "...no"

Bulma: "Well the beans do and I don't feel like dying because you guys got too tired to keep it up. Think you can outlast machines"

Yamcha: "...maybe"

Bulma: "Turn that maybe to a yes and eat a bean when you're tired. Got it?"

The gathered group of fighters nodded quietly before Tien raised a question.

Tien: "So where's the Prince of Ego now?"

Bulma: "He was in the Gravity Chamber when I left, something about making sure he's the strongest. Whatever, see you guys later when you deal with the robots"

Bulma waves at the group then gets back into her car to fly away only for a beam to hit one of the car's stablizing wings and send the car with Bulma and the baby careening downward, Bansuri being the first to recover from the startle of the car being shot down uses Instant Transmission to teleport into the car and back out with both Bulma and baby unharmed on the plateau. with the Z fighters.

Yamcha: "What the hell?! I didn't even sense that coming!"

Piccolo: "The Androids are machines which means we have to find them the old fashion way of looking for them."

Tien: "So we spit up and search the city?"

Piccolo: "Exactly"

Bansuri: "I'm going to teleport Bulma home so she's out of the firing line then come back to help search"

Bulma: "Man that teleportation is helpful"

Yamcha: "I know right!?"

Bulma and Bansuri roll their eyes at the same time before they teleport away, the vanishing of the 2 being the cue for the Z-fighters to launch into the air and search the city, Goku, Piccolo and Tien searching high and Krillin Yamcha and Chiaotzu searching at street level.

At Bulma's house Bansuri stands in the middle of Bulma's workshop with Bulma holding her child next to him before the genius decides to move the baby to the crib in the workshop, the baby playing with the hanging dial.

Bansuri: "Cute kid, what did you name him?"

Bulma: "Trunks"

Bansuri: (keeping a nonchalant look) "Huh, neat. Any chance I could convince Vegeta to be helpful or am I wasting time?"

Bulma: (shrug) "You can try if you want but I wouldn't hold my breath"

Bansuri give Bulma a shrug before walking to the Gravity Chamber with Vegeta in it. Bansuri see's a communication button beside the door and presses it, speaking into the microphone.

Bansuri: "If you don't want to be the Prince of Missing Out, I suggest getting a move on to South City, one of the Androids just shot down Bulma and attempted to kill her"

Bansuri removed his finger from the button and looked into the Gravity Chamber in time to see Vegeta flipping him off without looking back at the door. Bansuri pressed the button again.

Bansuri: "Guess your parents didn't bother to teach you how to be polite before they died"

Bansuri didn't bother to wait for Vegeta's response and teleported to Piccolo's side in time to feel Yamcha's energy suddenly take a destinct drop. Every Z-fighter teleported to Yamcha's fading energy and saw that an old man had his hand impaling Yamcha's chest. Goku was the first to move, kicking the old man in the head and knowking the stupid looking tube off it to reveal a clear casing for a human brain.

A fat clown looking person tried punching Goku as he landed but Piccolo punched the clown first, sending them back beside the old man, both the old man and the clown had the symbol for the Red Ribbon army on their chest. Bansuri quickly moved and healed Yamcha, the former bandit taking deep gulps of air and giving Bansuri a thankful look.

Yamcha: "Thanks man, you're a life saver"

Bansuri: "So they're strong?"

Yamcha: "Yeah! and they can drain energy through their hands"

Bansuri gave a surprised look at Yamcha before looking at the apparent android's hands spoting a red dot on the palm.

Bansuri: "Everyone be careful, they can absorb energy through their palms"

The Z-fighters nodded in understanding and the old man glared at Bansuri.

Old Android: "I should have known you would make things difficult, you've been doing that since you've been born"

Bansuri gave a confused look which was shared by Piccolo and Goku.

Goku: "Didn't I take down Red Ribbon? What did Bansuri do?"

Old Man: "That cretin has interfered with the recording drones I have been using to record your fights and the drones that collect genetic data! I have had to restart my Android Program more than 3 times because you give off natural interference for some reason!"

Bansuri: "...That sounds like a skill issue"

The old man shook with pure fury and fired eye-lasers at Bansuri who quickly used portals to redirect the beams back at the old man, forcing him to close his eyes and shut off the beams.

Bansuri: "See? Skill issue"

The old man visably reigned himself back in before opening is now red and irritated eyes and speaking again.

Old man: "...I am Android 20 and this is Android 19. We are going to kill Son Goku and there is nothing you can do about it.

Bansuri: "...So you're ignoring the fact I made you hit yourself, that's fine"

Goku: "If you want me dead follow me! No need to get anyone else hurt!"

Goku launched away in flight with the Z-fighters and the Androids following suit. As Goku flew, he started looking somewhat flustered and was occasionally scatching his left arm before touching down in an uninhabited wasteland, the fighters and machines landing after.

Android 20: "So, this is where you want your grave? It's rather appropriate"

Piccolo: "You say that but did your drones follow Goku to Namek or record his training on Yardrat?"

Android 20: "...nooooo"

Piccolo: "Goku?"

Goku gives a wry smile before turning Super Saiyan, the blazing aura being reduced to a faint glow due to training for efficiency of the form. Gohan, Bansuri and Piccolo gave Goku a concerned look as Goku was far weaker than he should be but as long as Goku ends the fight fast it shouldn't be an issue.

Android 20: "Well, you certainly are stronger than expected but still within 19's capabilities. 19, kill Son Goku!"

Android 19: "Acknowledged"

The rotund Android launched at Goku with surprising speed trying to headbutt Goku only for Goku to duck under the attempt and kick 19 upward with both legs, getting back on his feet to speed after the Android to follow up with an uppercut, the punch landing squarely on 19's stomach but not appearing to do much. 19 reaches out to grab Goku by the throat with Goku simply dodging to the side and grabbing the outstretched hand and using the leverage to throw 19 face first into the ground. Goku teleported to the ground and started charging a Kamehameha to hit the Andoid as it's hands were occupied lifting it up.

Goku: "Ka Me Ha Me HAAAAAA!"

The blue blast launched at the clown-like robot, the blast seeming to be set to hit the android in the back and destroy it before 19 spun around and put their hands to the blast, the energy being absorbed into the hands and fueling the robot with more power as Goku used up a sizable chunk of his, the Saiyan now covered in sweat and his energy dropping.

Gohan: "...oh no. Don't tell me the Heart Virus is kicking in now! The medicine is at home!"

Piccolo: "Do you know exactly were it is?"

Gohan: "Yeah?...Oh!"

Piccolo: "I'll distract, you teleport Goku home to get him patched up. Ready?"

Gohan: "Yeah"

Piccolo waited for the perfect moment to get Goku out of the fight and moments before he could move Vegeta teleported to Goku's side and kicked Android 19 away into a rock formation. Gohan took the oppertunity to teleport to Goku's side and teleport him home to give him the medicine.

Vegeta: "So these are the Androids. A geriatric and a bigger clown than Kakarot. I'm failing to see how they can be a threat."

Bansuri: "They absorb energy through their hands and if you lose sight of them you can't sense them"

Vegeta: "Then let's just scrap them"

Vegeta turns Super Saiyan and proceeds to launch combo after combo into Android 19 before grabbing their wrists and ripping off the robots hands.

Vegeta: "See? Easy"

Bansuri: "Think you can leave it intact enough for Bulma to have a look at?"

Vegeta: "Why?"

Bansuri: "Because Bulma likes technology and maybe she can make you a training dummy tough enough for you to play with?"

Vegeta narrows his eyes at Bansuri who simply stares back before pointing at the now running Android.

Bansuri: "It's getting away"

Vegeta rolls his eyes but zips down to stomp on the neck of the robot and beheading it, the body twitching for a few moments before going limp.

Vegeta: "Happy?"

Bansuri: "It's going to be your toy, not mine. Also the old man ran that way (points to a dust trail), you may want to get that while I deliver this to your wife"

Bansuri teleports away before Vegeta can get the last word, leaving the aggitated Saiyan to lead the charge against the remaining Android.

Vegeta: "...Prick"

Bansuri teleports back into Bulma's workshop with said scientist finishing burping Trunks as Bansuri arrives.

Bulma: "Hey Bansuri! What's...What's with the robot body?"

Bansuri: "It's one of the Androids, Vegeta and the others are chasing the other one in the wasteland. Goku's out of commission due to heart trouble and Gohan is more than likely attending to Goku with Chi-chi."

Bulma: "Hope they're okay. Say, what does the other Android look like anyway?"

Bansuri: "Oh, like this"

Bansuri creates an illusionary copy of Android 20 for Bulma to look at only for Bulma's eyes to widen in recognition.

Bulma: "Hey, that looks like Dr Gero"

Bansuri: "I don't recognise the name, sorry"

Bulma: "He was a scientist that specialized in robotics that vanished from public eye a few years back. I think he had a lab in the mountains north of North City"

Bansuri: "Huh...I'll be sure to let everyone know where to look should they lose track of him. Thank you for the information Bulma"

Bulma: "No sweat Bansuri, see you later?"

Bansuri: "Yep, see you later"

Bansuri teleported to Tien's energy as that was the closest in time to see Trunks talking with the other Z-fighters.

Trunks: "That's not one of the Androids I faced!"

Vegeta: "Well how about a description smartass?!"

Bansuri rolled his eyes at Vegeta's usual abbrasive nature only to catch Dr Gero dropping and throwing grenades, the explosives detonating with deafening bangs and blinding flashes, covering the Doctors's escape. The group taking a moment to express annoyance at the loss before Bansuri speaks up.

Bansuri: "According to what Bulma told me, the old Android we just saw is Dr Gero, the creator of Androids. She informed me that he has a lab in the mountains north of North City so at least we can find where they're going."

Everyone looked shocked but then gave looks of 'fair enough' due to the knowledge being from Bulma. Everyone launched into the sky and raced to where Gero's lab could be.

Piccolo: "If Trunks is right we could be flying to our death"

Bansuri: "Maybe, but considering there isn't a me in their time line I imagine there could be other differences like techniques or where we trained"

Piccolo: "Maybe...Hope for the best, prepare for the worst."

Bansuri: "So the usual then"

The group blitz to where the lab is in hopes of preventing catastrophy, will the Z-fighters make it to the lab before the mad doctor? Or will Trunk's prediction of doom come to pass? Find out next time on Some Help.
