"Come on Darmanitan I want to see you give it a real good flip like this!" Inteleon demonstrated with the flip into a U-Turn.
After Calyrex teleported them back to the laboratory with the windows magically fixed (Francois was very appreciative of that) he told them they would know when they were needed again in the region.
With the new-found knowledge that they were guardians of the region at least that's how Inteleon interpreted it everyone had begun a training regiment.
Sure Great Tusk and Flygon had called something along the lines of "completely ridiculous" but Great Tusk had learned the new move Ice Spinner and Flygon along with Darmanitan, Frogadier, Maushold, Lokix, and Spidops had learned U-Turn.
"Inteleon are you sure that training like this is really that important" Francois complained charging up a Flash Cannon to counter Sandile's Foul Play and Misdreavus's Shadow Ball.
"Keep running your mouth like that and you're on Walking Wake training"
To deal with Walking Wake everybody took shifts of training with him right now that was Iron Thorns and Greedent although training was mostly absorbing Wake's newly learned Hurricane then training with each other when he inevitably got distracted.
Sure enough, the dinosaur dog had gotten distracted chasing something letting the duo exchange newly learned Earthquake and Body Slam.
"Hey, Inteleon there's something you might want to see" Abomasnow pointed to the center of the laboratory where a psychic image was being projected into the air.
The images of the four strange humanoid figures appeared in the vision before a map of Paldea with the Asado desert highlighted in bright pink.
"Hey, I recognize those. The forces of nature" Sandile explained.
"So it's telling us that we need to go to the Asado Desert to find the forces of nature"
"Your powers of detection are impressive Inteleon" Aerodactyl replied.
"Alright everybody get ready we're going to the desert"
Of course, Inteleon forgot that the desert was hot.
So after half an hour of trudging through the sand, he felt like going home.
"Well, this sucks," Absol remarked.
"You know what let's just go-" Inteleon was cut off by something flying past him "Home"
The legendary Enamorus flew through the sky heading towards a large outcrop of rocks.
"After them!" Following the legendary lead them to a sand dune overlooking the rocks that Enamorus destroyed with Springtide Storm and searching through the rocks for something.
"Oh, dear," Iron Valiant remarked. On another rock face, Espathra and the Paradox Pokémon were also digging something out of the ground.
Iron Threads and Brute Bonnet came out of the rubble holding what looked like multiple stakes from the ground followed by an earthy brown crystal.
"Quick we need a plan to get the ground, Tera Crystal Everyone start hollowing out rocks"
"Inteleon why would we hollow out rocks?" Stantler asked.
"Just roll with it"
That's how they ended up building a refreshment stand with hollow rocks filled with water.
"Inteleon there's no way they're gonna fall for that!" Flygon scolded.
Inteleon's point was proven when multiple Paradox Pokémon came to drink the water.
"Alright, now we sneak around and take the stakes and go" Iron Thorns and Great Tusk grabbed the valuables and began to set off.
Before a bright pink light came up behind them.
"Look out!" Both of them were barely able to roll out of the way of Enamrous and its Springtide storm.
Enarmous began attacking wildly throwing Moonblast and Mystical Fire around the stakes and Tera Crystal.
"Alright, Abomasnow go talk to her" Lokix suggested.
"What why me?"
"You're from Sinnoh try communicating with her"
Lokix was then tackled to the ground by Scream Tail's Play Rouge.
With a beastly growl, Scream Tail lunged at Inteleon's throat with Psychic Fangs getting stopped by Absol's Sucker Punch thankfully they learned that when training and sent Scream Tail right into a Springtide Storm.
Everything quickly turned into chaos, everybody was battling each other well trying to avoid the enraged Enamrous.
"You what did you do!" Espathra chirped in anger blinding Inteleon with a Lumina Crash.
"I didn't do anything you're the one trying to steal these weird stakes"
"You simple-minded fool if you knew what these stakes could unlock you would be working with the humans too" Espathra gripped the stakes with her talons.
"Goodbye" behind Espathra Enamrous swung forward with a Superpower Espathra dodged with Feather Dance causing Inteleon to get smashed in the face.
Espathra went for a Feather Dance on Enamrous to lower her attack.
Only for the Love-Hate Pokémon's Contrary ability to activate raisin her attack higher.
Espathra was irate at something not going according to plan pivoting off a Brute Bonnet with a U-Turn letting the brutish fungus take a Super Power and be sent flying.
Before Enamorus could turn her attention to Inteleon Great Tusk charged in with Ice Spinner getting Inteleon out of the way.
Iron Bundle and Flutter Mane appeared behind Enamrous striking with Icy Wind and Mystical Fire.
"No, no stop you fools!" Espathra shouted but it was already too late. The attacks boosted Enamorus further sending both of them flying with Springtide Storm.
"We need a way to slow down Enamorus Francois we need you to get close enough to land a Thunder Wave"
"Who's the fastest one here?"
"That would be me Aerodactly replied.
"Spidops wrap Magnimite in your silk"
"Wait what No don't you mrrr" Francois was wrapped in silk like a ball of yarn.
"Hey Walking Wake use Hurricane I'll give you a fish if you do"
"Sui-Cune!" Walking Wake blasted Aerodactly with Hurrican combined with Iron Valiant's Moonblast rocketed Aerodactly towards Enamorus.
"Going long!" Magnimite was chucked against Enamorus paralizing the legendary with Thunder Wave.
"OK, can someone get me out of here!" Magnimite shouted before getting punted by Super Power.
"Truly a noble sacrifice" Great Tusk stated.
"Don't we still need to stop it though" Iron Thorns stated.
Enamorus was still rampaging plus the Paradox forums that had avoided her wrath.
"$# Don't interfere with our plans or face the conciseness" Sandy Shocks screeched firing an Earth Power well Iron Jugulis attacked from behind and attacked with Dark Pulse.
Abomasnow countered with Aurora Veil the rainbow wall of light reducing the amount of damage taken from the attacks.
Darmanitan and Stantler took down the Sandy Shocks with Double Edge and Flare Blitz as Raichu and Frogadier took down the Iron Jugulis with SmackDown and Thunderbolt.
Iron Moth took advantage of the situation attacking the slowed-down Enamorus with Sludge Wave Iron Treads helping to with Stell Roller.
"We need to stop them before they take out Enamorus"
Iron Hands and Scream Tail blocked their path Scream Tail lunged with Play Rouge that Maushold redirected with Follow Me waving a white finger in the air.
Iron Hands went for a Close Combat that Great Tusk and Iron Valiant blocked with Headlong Rush and Sprite Break.
"Will hold them off You all stop Iron shavings for brains" Great Tusk ordered.
Sneaking past the fighting Paradox forums Inteleon had a perfect shot on Iron Moth.
"Smile you son of a-" Inteleon struck Iron Moth directly with a Snipe Shot.
"Why you conniving lepidosaur!" Iron Moth charged up a Discharge but it was already too late.
"Walking Wake you want some more fish?"
Walking Wake fired another Hurricane at the already weakened Iron Moth sending him flying away.
"Instructions unclear need input from leader" Iron Threads panicked before being sent flying by Enamorus with Superpower.
Espathra seeing they had failed attempted to run away with the stakes before Absol's Sucker Punch stopped her and then got pinned down by Aerodactyl.
Before Espathra could be questioned she disappeared in a burst of light along with Iron Hands and Scream Tail.
Over the hill, a green-haired boy was staring at them.
"What the?"
"Bang!" Spidops appeared behind him and knocked him over the head with the blunt end of one of the stakes.
"Problem solved" Spidops covered him in silk and left him resting against a rock.
"Alright now that that problem is taken care of super powerful Enamorus you may have the tera crystal and the stakes for yourself"
Seeing that they didn't mean any harm the Love-Hate Pokémon took the stakes and crystals gesturing with her arm to follow her.
Another long walk later they had made it to the north area of the region.
Inteleon was currently carrying Magnimite muttering something in his fainted state about how he was going to murder Inteleon when we woke up.
"Mate, are you sure it's worth it following Enamorus all the way out to who knows where?" Iron Thorns asked.
"Don't worry I'm sure there's somewhere she's taking us somewhere important" Inteleon wheezed as they came up over a hill"
"Rrrrrrpoour!"
"Did anybody else hear that?" Misdreavus wailed.
"That thing that sounded like a very unfortunate ungulate ya I heard that" Stantler replied.
"But where did it come from?"
"Perhaps it came from that ominous shrine over there" Greedent pointed to said ominous shrine, all black with a sickly green glow.
Enamorus stuck the ominous stakes in the ground around the shrine causing them to dissolve into the ground.
With a loud crash, the shrine crumbled to dust.
"Rrrrrrrru" from the dust, the legendary Ting-Lu stepped into the sunlight soil pouring out of the bowl on its head.
"Is it just me or does anybody else feel weaker?" Frogadier asked.
"Actually I feel it too" Inteleon replied some sort of aura seemed to hang around his body and made it feel like using any special attack would take a monumental effort.
After what seemed to be a conversation Ting-Lu turned to face the group.
"Which one of you is the leader of this party?" Ting-Lu asked in a strange deep yet perpetually fearful voice.
Everyone pointed to Inteleon.
"Um that would be me Ting-Lu"
"Why was I released from my confinement who is trying to free the other treasures of ruin?"
"Wait there's more of you?" Francois asked finally awake.
"I am one of four treasures of ruin. Ancient objects imputed with the hatred of the people of Paldea that became Pokémon"
"As Enamrous explained to me someone is trying to awaken all of us"
"That doesn't surprise me Team Galactic seems to have an obsession with Legendaries," Flygon remarked.
"That it's they want all the Legendaries!" Inteleon remarked.
"Huh!"
"If The Great Crater can bring Pokémon from different times and places then Team Galactic wants to bring as many legendaries threw the crater to create an ultra-powerful team to take over"
"And then what?" Great Tusk questioned.
"I don't know take up sky diving that's what I would do"
"Whatever this Team's intentions we need to find the other ruins before them I don't know how the others will react to this news"
That was it this was the final straw another dicking around Rinto's mental and physical state couldn't take anymore.
Getting Iron Leaves be dammed if anything Iron Leaves was safer with him than Team Galactic any day.
Either way, Rinto was not going to take another object to the back of the head.
Forget trying to take down Team Galactic from the inside because the league was so inept now he would try and take down Team Galactic from the outside.
And of course, a new message came from his burner phone.
We've been lucky enough to catch Cyclone Pokémon Tornadus with the help of the Flying Tera Crystal and our excavation team has located the locations of the Electric, Ice, Fire, Grass, and Fairy Tera Crystals we need your help finding the rest of the stakes of the Treasures of Ruin.
Rinto threw the ground and sent out Gallade.
"Gallade cut that!"
"Shriiin!" Gallade cut the burner phone in half with Psyco Cut riding Rinto of the problem.
What were they going to do? Attack him Gallade and Iron Leaves could handle the problem not to mention his connection to the strongest trainers in the region.
Now he could go home and treat that head injury. How'd he even get that anyway? He remembered a big group of Pokémon and Enamorus and some ominous stakes and the ground Tera Crystal.
Whatever they could keep them anyway it wasn't worth him getting injured over.
