A modern Elizabeth and Darcy story - American grad student Elizabeth Bennet meets William Darcy on holiday in the Highlands low angst, HEA. This is not forsaken - I will come back soon.

Elizabeth Bennet, the best of the CIA's agents, receives a late-night call-back to Langley shortly after returning from a long, exhausting deep-cover mission. She is expected to accept another deep-cover mission and team with CIA agent, Charles Bingley, and an MI-6 agent, Fitzwilliam Darcy. Darcy is MI-6's best — and in the States trailing international terrorist, George Wickham.

A second son, Darcy makes his own way and chooses law. His father is gone, his brother has inherited, and the younger Darcy invested his fortune with Gardiner Imports. He is introduced to a younger Elizabeth, and the two instantly fall in love. However, that doesn't mean their path is easy, as challenges arise as they marry and come together. OOC. A holiday story. Newly married Darcy & Elizabeth settle happily at Pemberley for the holidays. One morning they wake up transported to modern day New York. There, they meet a despondent Alexander Darcy, who in true Darcy fashion, has made a mess of his relationship with the woman he loves. History must repeat itself, the newlyweds must aid Alex to win back the love of his life.

Before death, Lady Anne wrote a series of letters to her children. She gave them to her sister, but as their contents were counter to Lady Catherine's purposes, she never gave the letters over to the Darcy children. 16 years later, Anne de Bourgh finds the letters and gives them to Darcy. Their contents alter Darcy's perspective on life, love, and his family's legacy.

Having observed her parents' frequently-unhappy marriage, Elizabeth worries that her new husband will grow tired of her, but Darcy is quick to reassure her that his love and respect will long continue.

A Pride and Prejudice story. Starting in Hunsford, Elizabeth is not allowed to stay home from tea and so Darcy's ill-fated proposal is prevented however Elizabeth is too angry to remain silent. This is a slow and sweet story that does get more mature towards the end.

What if the people in Hertfordshire were not as they seemed – and Charles Bingley was the only member of the Netherfield partly that noticed?

What if . . . Mrs. Gardiner's Lambton relations had been a little more well-to-do and what if she had stronger and longer ties to them and to Derbyshire? In this variation Elizabeth begins to spend summers with the Gardiners in Derbyshire at a fairly young age. As a result she develops her own ties to that part of the world and its people, including the Darcy's of Pemberley.
