Hey there everyone! Before I get started with some one-shots, I came up with head canons for some of the characters that will be in here. This AU is about the Powerpuff Girls being adopted by the Mario Brothers, and how life is for them! I'm super excited to write some one-shots about them :3

-I don't mind you making some requests as long as it's not too mature. I cannot/will not write down sexual stuff, over the top violence, nudity, and incest.

-You can request for one-shot ideas by reviewing this chapter or PM'ing me.

-This will be full of family wholesomeness, but ships are also welcome ^o^

BLOSSOM: Still the most intelligent person and leader of the Powerpuff Girls, but has frequent panic attacks. Ever since the professor died thanks to Mojo Jojo, her anxiety has gotten worse. She also sees a certain little demonic marionette taunt her in her mind... Luckily Mario, her adoptive father, is here to help her. Blossom suffers from insomnia, thanks to the constant night terrors that usually involve the Professor, failing, or the marionette torturing her. The only way she can sleep is by being next to Mario at all times; mostly during the night. This phase will eventually fade as she gets older.

Deep down, Blossom feels like she isn't perfect enough, not good enough, not worthy of anything nice- even when told she is perfect, she just won't believe them. To her, no matter what she does, it'll never be good enough.

BUBBLES: The same bubbly person everyone knows! Despite all that's happened she still tries to put on a happy face, and she will not rest until everyone she loves are happy. This doesn't mean she doesn't have her off days, however. Even the happiest of people aren't so happy and need a good cry. Or in her case, multiple good cries- she'll sometimes feel like she isn't good enough, or that she could've done more to help other people, but Luigi's always here to comfort her when needed.

Bubbles of course, has her prized doll still. Don't take away or tear apart her doll Octi, or else...

BUTTERCUP: She tries so hard to become the toughest fighter that's ever been, even more than ever before. But she does get insecure at times, so don't let that tough demeanor fool you. Buttercup wouldn't allow herself to let anyone see that side of her unless it gets forced out. It may not look like it, but she cares deeply for her sisters and Mario and Luigi. She has no special power compared to her sisters, and has had many people in Townsville point that out to her- it only made her feel worse.

THE POWERPUFF GIRLS ALL TOGETHER: Ever since their creator/father figure has passed on, they were reluctant to start fighting crime again- one, because what's the point now that the professor won't be here to give them tips, protect them, even fight alongside them as Power Prof? And two, for all the ungratefulness, reliance on the girls, favoritism, and the harassment Townsville used to give them sometimes, those all together only lowered their self esteem. Blossom's self esteem is the lowest, but she hides it very well with her leadership and pride. They weren't even ready to start fighting crime in their town again until they were 8 years old.

Because of this, Mario and Luigi slowly and gently guided them by starting small, such as fighting goombas and koopas in the Mushroom Kingdom, stopping robberies, learning how to use power-ups, and occasionally stopping Bowser from kidnapping Princess Peach.

MARIO: Adoptive father of the Powerpuff Girls. He and Luigi were entrusted by Professor Utonium to take care of the girls if he was ever gone from their lives. After the Professor died, the girls moved in with the Mario Bros at the Mushroom Kingdom.

Mario does suffer from anxiety, but he hides it really well. The only people that know are Luigi and the girls. Mario also has PTSD thanks to a traumatic event involving a deal with the demonic child named Mandy, who had killed people and an immortal skeleton, and manipulated others, including the poor plumber, just so she could have the world to herself. As a result, he refuses to hear the name "Mandy" ever again.

LUIGI: Second adoptive father of the Powerpuff Girls. He's still cowardly, but he's trying to become braver for his family. He suffers from anxiety as well, but Mario helps him out along the way, just like Luigi does for his brother.

PRINCESS PEACH: Mario's girlfriend. She acts like a mother figure for the Powerpuff Girls since the girls.. never really had a mother in their lives XD She does whatever she can to make others feel comfortable and cares about everyone she loves. The good news? She doesn't get kidnapped as often as she used to :3

PRINCESS DAISY: Luigi's girlfriend. She's feisty, tough, and stubborn, but deep down, she cares a lot about her man in shining green... plumbing clothes! You mess with him, you mess with her next. She also acts as a mother figure for the PPG but sometimes gets referred to as "Aunt Daisy"

PROFESSOR UTONIUM: The Powerpuff Girls' late father figure and creator. He LOVED his own girls and allowed Mario and Luigi to babysit them for a long time, until one dreadful rainy day, everything went wrong, and he was killed by Mojo Jojo...

BOWSER: He may be a villain to the Mario Bros, but he cares a lot for the Rowdyruff Boys like they were his children. He lives in his castle at the Mushroom Kingdom along with Mojo Jojo, RRB, and the Wario Bros. He puts up with Wario and Waluigi's shenanigans and often gets annoyed by them.

WARIO BROS: Together, they're criminals. Wario will commit any and EVERY crime for money ever since his company got shut down, although he is very dumb. Waluigi is a womanizer and has a love for roses. He uses a lot of bob-ombs and tends to get crazy when fed coffee. The only good thing about him? He makes some good tacos.

They are both adoptive fathers for the Rowdyruff Boys; they were both appointed to take care of the boys since Mojo Jojo is far too busy trying to come up with plans to take over the world and destroy the Powerpuff Girls. But any time something goes wrong, Bowser will not hesitate to step in.

BRICK: A rebellious boy and leader of the Rowdyruff Boys. He's a swearing machine half the time, but deep down he cares about the people he loves, such as his brothers. He does have some anxiety attacks, but he hides it really well. He also has some anger issues.

He and his brothers have had an encounter with a trio called the Staffleader Girls, the "saviors" of Femsville, a town filled with sexist, brutal girls. The SLG did some horrifying, disgusting things to them, causing Brick's PTSD as a result. His brothers are also scared of them and often have nightmares because of them- it took way longer for Brick to heal properly because of what happened, so he was affected the most, temporarily losing his sanity for a day, and now he's afraid of anything that even RESEMBLES a giant girl.

BOOMER: He's ditzy, innocent, and is generally a happy go lucky guy! He's very close with Bubbles and as a result they get along really well. He doesn't want to be with the Wario Bros, and neither do his brothers, so they just go for a fly around town sometimes.

BUTCH: SUPER SUPER hyper! He's a goofball and loves messing with other people just for fun. But be careful, he can be pretty foul mouthed like Brick and he can be aggressive. He does have a pet snail but hides it from the Wario Bros so they don't eat him. His favorite hobby is breaking tables. Why? It makes him feel better, he says.
