Author's Note: Hello, my readers…or maybe I should say…Ahoy, mateys! Welcome to my newest Iron Dad story, A Pirate's Life For Us! Now, you're probably wondering, "Grey, why a Pirate AU?" Well, it's all thanks to my interest besties, SuperHeroTiger and Kevvygrace! They started this event on tumblr called Multiverse July for Tony and Peter, so they basically pick an AU and set up a bunch of prompts based on that AU concept. And this year, it's Pirate AU, or even better Seven Seas July, and I decided to participate, so this based on the prompts they provided. It's going to be 11 chapters long, and I'm going to do my best to get this up and completed by the end of July. Unfortunately, this means that Many Adventures and Raise Me Up will be on hold for the month, but rest assured, it's back to those stories once this is done. I hope you all enjoy it!

Chapter 1
Prompt: Stowaway/Walk the Plank
As the sun rose at high noon that day in 1717, all seemed quiet in the small coastal town. Ships were lined up at dock as sailors and pirates alike gathered whatever supplies they needed before resuming their respective journeys while the people on land went about their lives like every other day. That was…except for one teenaged boy…who ran past the unsuspecting townspeople from several grown men leaving people confused and stunned.
"STOP, THIEF!" one man shouted as they ran after the teenaged boy—16 years old with brown hair and eyes.
The boy…Peter Parker refused to stop running as fast as he could to get away from his pursuers. He clutched his bag tightly to his chest. It was amazing that he managed to keep everything in it without dropping it, but he shook his head refusing to think about that. He couldn't afford to think about that now. He needed to get the men chasing him off his back. He needed to get away from them, but how? He looked ahead and saw that he was nearing the docks, and then he had an idea. He could lose the men if he ducked into an alley and then make his way toward the docks without anyone noticing him. He saw a crowd in front of him, and with one quick glance over his shoulder at his pursuers, he ducked into the crowd disappearing and quickly hid in a nearby alley as the men who were chasing him ran right past him.
Once they ran past him, Peter peeked out from where he was pressed against the wall clutching onto his brown bag for dear life. The contents in the bag were his one chance of finally starting a new life for himself and to finally be free of what he had been dealing with for the past year or so. Once he was sure the coast was clear, he merged back into the crowd and kept walking while scanning the people for Adrien Toomes or any of his men. Soon enough, he managed to get through the crowd and found himself reaching an open area, and when he got to the opening, he felt shadows looming over him. He looked up only to see…huge ships at the docks.
He couldn't help but smile as he stared at the large vessels in wonder and awe. He remembered coming down to the docks with his father and uncle when he was young and how he marveled at them wanting to possibly sail on a ship of his own one day.
"Hey, lads!" Peter felt his heart drop at the sound of Toomes' voice. "He's over there!"
He turned to his right…only to see Toomes and his men running right toward him. His heart pounded, and he had no choice to take off yet again. He didn't even care where he was running. He just wanted…needed to get away from Toomes and his gang. So…he ran onto a seemingly empty pirate ship…not even paying attention to the giant "A" on the ship's black flag. His body seemed to be acting on its own as he threw open a door and ran down a hall until he came to a door closing it behind him…only to stop in his tracks when he saw that he was in an office of some sort…and it didn't take him long to realize that it was…the Captain's Quarters. His eyes widened…realizing that he was now on a ship…a pirate's ship in the Captain's Quarters. He had no idea who owned the ship, but there was no telling what they would say or do once they catch him.
Peter took a deep breath to calm his pounding heart. "Okay, okay, you're…you're on a pirate ship," he said clutching his bag tighter to his chest, "and Toomes is after you. All you gotta do is wait a while. Then when the coast is clear, you just sneak off before the pirates see you. No problem." The teenaged boy looked around trying to find some place to hide…until he saw…an armoire on the opposite wall, and he wasted no time in scrambling inside it to hide. He sat on the bottom of the armoire behind some clothes hanging from the top breathing heavily. Peter took a few deep breaths to steady his breathing as he sat in the darkness waiting for the opportune moment to make a run for it. He listened closely for any sounds that could indicate that Toomes was on the ship looking for him or that he spoke to the Captain about him being on the ship.
So far, there was nothing…not a sound, which made Peter relax just a little. Perhaps, it was finally safe to try to leave the ship. Toomes probably ran to look for him somewhere else, and the crew probably didn't return just yet. However, he froze…when he actually did hear something—footsteps and voices outside the room, and he wasted no time in pressing further against the back of the armoire trying to control his breathing as he heard the door open.
"I got to say, Captain," a voice said chuckling, "that you really scared the shit out of that Toomes fella. He looked about as pale as the sea foam."
Another voice chuckled. "Rhodes, I've been captain for almost 30 years," he said. "I think I've gotten quite good at scaring those land-lubbers."
"Do you believe he was telling the truth…about a thief stowing away on our ship?" the man, Rhodes asked.
Peter froze even more as he realized that Rhodes was talking about him. Toomes must've tried to get on the ship to look for him, but this captain scared him…but not before they warned them about him. "Great..." he thought to himself. They were probably going to look for him and throw him overboard.
"Nah…Toomes is a thief himself," the Captain replied. "For all we know, he could've been trying to steal our loot. He's just a goddamn fool."
"You're not wrong there, Tony," Rhodes replied. "Well, he's gone now. Now, we can focus on the riches we're about to find."
"Atta boy, Rhodey," this…Tony said. Peter could just barely see their figures through the crack in between the doors, but he could hear someone patting someone else on the shoulder. "Yes, riches await us, so let's not waste time. Prepare the ship and set sail."
"Aye, aye, captain," Rhodey said as he made his way to the door. "Although, let's make sure that the crew has returned first."
There was a pause as Peter waited a moment with bated breath. "Oh, yes, we probably should," Tony replied after a moment. "Then we set sail."
"Aye, aye, Captain," Rhodey replied before leaving the Captain in his quarters and closed the door…leaving Peter alone in the armoire with this Captain still in the room, which only made Peter even more nervous. He did everything in his power to keep his breathing as quiet as possible and to stay perfectly still. Thankfully, it wasn't long before the Captain left as well…closing the door behind him.
As soon as the door closed, Peter let out a sigh of relief as he sat back against the armoire, and…after a moment of silence, he took a deep breath and slowly slipped out of his hiding place. He looked around and saw that he was completely alone. He looked out the window across from him only to see that the ship was still at port. It hadn't left yet, which meant he still had a chance to get off, so he wasted no time in gathering his bag and slipped out of the Captain's quarters back into the hallway. It was still quiet, so it was likely the crew didn't return yet, or they were probably making sure everything was set for their journey. Either way, it provided a window on opportunity for Peter to get off the ship and make a run for it.
He managed to get outside into the deck of the ship, and there was no sign of the Captain or his crewmember…or any of the crew for that matter. So…he slowly moved about the deck to get to the gangplank…only to stop when he heard voices. So, he wasted no time in scrambling and hiding behind a wooden barrel near the ramp, and Peter then peeked out from behind only to see people walking up the ramp. They were clearly the other members of the crew, which only made Peter's heart pound even more.
"Oh damn it…" he thought to himself, "how am I going to get off this ship now? M-Maybe I can just wait until they're distracted?" He took a deep breath to calm himself down. "It's okay. It's okay. I'll just wait until they're distracted. Yeah, that's it."
"Where have you jackasses been?" the Captain's voice rang out.
"What does it look like?" one of the crewmembers retorted. "We were gathering the rest of our supplies for your treasure hunt."
"Rogers, how many times do I have to tell you?" the Captain retorted. "It's not my treasure hunt. It's our treasure hunt. We're all going to be rich once we find this treasure."
The rest of the crew chuckled at the banter between the Captain and their crewmate.
Peter couldn't help but pique in curiosity hearing this crew talk about treasure and getting rich. Ever since he was a little boy, his father and uncle had told him stories about these pirates and how they searched for buried treasure, and ever since his family died, he dreamed of one day leaving and searching for riches of his own just like a pirate. However, it would be hard to do that if he got caught stowing away on a ship that certainly did not belong to him. Peter looked and saw the gangplank just a few feet away from him. He was so close yet so far, but he couldn't move with the pirates standing right there. What was he going to do?
He eyed the gangplank again and figured that if he ran fast enough then he could outrun the pirates. They wouldn't care what happened to him as soon as he was off the ship. They just wouldn't want him to be on the ship. That was all, so he took a deep breath and decided to just go for it. He slowly stood up. However, when he did, he didn't have a good grip on his sack…and the objects spilled out hitting the wooden floor with a loud clang causing him to yelp in surprise.
This of course…startled the pirates as they perked up at the loud sound.
"What was that?" the Captain asked looking around his ship for the source of the sound.
"Not sure," Rhodes replied.
"It came from over there by the barrels," a female pirate said eying the area suspiciously.
Peter's eyes widened as he ducked down to the floor and quietly gathered the contents back into his bag. His heart pounded even more as he could hear the footsteps slowly approaching, and he realized that he couldn't hide anymore. He had to just make a run for it. He took one last deep breath, and then…he grabbed his bag and ran toward the ramp.
"Hey!" a voice—Peter wasn't sure who—shouted after him. "Hey, you! STOP!"
Peter refused to stop and continued to run toward the ramp…to get away, but…just as he was about to make it to the ramp…someone tackled him causing him to fall to the deck…hard. However, before he could even process who tackled him, his arms were yanked back…hard causing him to yelp in pain.
"Oh, look what we've got here, boys," the woman said as she yanked on his arms more tying them together behind his back. "A little thief, I presume?"
"Hey, let me go! Let me go!" Peter shouted as he struggled to free himself. "Let me go! I'm not a thief!"
"Really?" the woman asked. Peter could hear the smirk in her voice as he continued to struggle feeling the ropes tighten around his wrists. "Then why run?"
"Huh, well, what do you know?" the Captain said causing Peter to stop struggling. "Toomes was actually telling the truth. There really is a thief on my ship."
Peter froze in fear and astonishment when he got a good look at the Captain. The man was tall. He had brown hair, a beard, and brown eyes. He wore a red coat and hat with gold lining, and he definitely recognized the pirate. It was Tony Stark…the Captain of the Avengers…the Caspian Sea's Most Notorious Pirates, and Peter widened his eyes at the captain standing in front of him. "I-I'm not a thief, I swear," he said nervously shaking in the woman's grip. He could see the rest of the crew glaring at him clearly not happy that he was on their ship.
"Really?" the woman asked with a raised eyebrow forcing Peter to his knees. "Then let me ask this again: why did you run?"
"And what exactly are you hiding in this bag?" Tony asked as he picked up the small knapsack with his finger.
"Hey, don't touch that!" Peter yelled struggling against his restraints. "That's mine! I need that! Ah!" He quickly flinched feeling a sharp pain in the back of his head.
"Shut up, boy," the woman said grabbing a handful of his brown hair yanking his head back roughly.
"Well, you're clearly hiding something," Tony said as he opened the bag and dumped out the contents onto the deck right in front of Peter. He and his crew watched as the boy's eyes widened as a jeweled chalice, several gold coins, a pearl necklace, and an emerald ring.
"Huh…will you look at that?" a man who Peter recognized as Rhodes from his voice said.
"Look, I don't know what Toomes told you," Peter said quickly feeling the panic rising inside him, "but I'm not a thief, I swear, I didn't steal that."
"Then why were you hiding on my ship?" Tony asked with a raised eyebrow. "And who's to say you didn't steal this from us for Toomes?"
"What?" Peter asked incredulously. "No-no-no! T-That's not true! I-I didn't steal this from you! I was trying to escape, honest!"
"We'll have to be the judge of that, won't we?" Tony said crossing his arms. "Romanoff, Barton, throw this scurvy dog in the brig, and then we'll set sail. We'll deal with him once we're out at sea."
"With pleasure, Captain," Romanoff said with the smirk never leaving her face.
The man with light brown hair—Barton—joined Romanoff and grabbed Peter by his restrained arms dragging him down to the brig as he kicked and screamed.
"HEY! NO! NO! WAIT!" Peter shouted at the top of his lungs as he was dragged away. "PLEASE! JUST LET ME GO! I'M TELLING THE TRUTH! PLEASE!"
As he was dragged away, he barely noticed a woman emerging from the inside of the ship. She had blonde hair tied into a low ponytail and a long dress, and she couldn't help but watch as the boy was dragged away by Romanoff and Barton into their prison hold. She looked at the Captain and the rest of the crew.
"Tony, what's going on?" she asked with confusion in her face. "Who was that boy?"
"A stowaway who thought he could get away with stealing from the Avengers," one of the crewmembers replied.
"We don't know that for sure, Thor," Tony quickly interjected. He couldn't help but stare at the materials and then the door to the brig in the floor of the ship. The materials didn't look like theirs, and he couldn't help but think of the fear and Peter's story about how Toomes was lying and how he was trying to escape. He squinted in deep thought. Something didn't feel right.
"Tony?" Pepper asked placing a hand on his shoulder getting his attention.
"We'll keep him in the brig," Tony said, "and we'll deal with him once we're at sea. Let's set sail! We can't afford to be delayed any longer."
"Aye, aye, Captain," they all said in unison before going to their respective positions on the ship.
"Set sail!"
Peter gasped hearing the Captain's voice bellow from outside, and then within minutes, he felt the ship shift. It was moving. They were moving. They were sailing away from the town he grew up in, and he was likely going to die…at the hands of the Avengers. Tears formed in his eyes as he buried his face in his arms and knees.
"I don't want to die," he said through his sobs. "I don't want to."
As the ship sailed out onto the open sea, Tony asked that he, Rhodey, Pepper, Steve, and Happy all gather in his quarters to discuss the stowaway. Coming into his office, Tony was quickly able to see that it was likely that Peter was hiding there, specifically his armoire, which was clearly left open. He hadn't opened it since early that morning before they reached port at this town. However, he didn't bring it up as he sat at his desk with his wife, his first mate, his crew member, and the chef—his best friend Happy.
"I checked the food inventory, Captain," Happy said as Tony played with one of the coins in between his fingers. "He hasn't even touched the food."
"Of course, he wouldn't go for the food," Rhodey said crossing his arms and leaning back in his seat. "The little brat wanted our loot."
Pepper crossed her arms as she watched her husband…clearly deep in thought. "Tony?" she said getting his attention, "you're being very quiet. What are you thinking about?"
Tony sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "This isn't ours," he said simply. "I checked our stash just now, and my armoire was opened. He was nowhere near it." He watched as his wife, first mate, and other crew members looked at each other and then back at him. "You can go check for yourselves if you don't believe me, but I will bet my soul in Davey Jones' locker that that lad didn't steal from us."
"Okay, so what do you think that whole thing with Toomes was all about?" Rhodey asked.
"He clearly did something to upset that scurvy dog," Tony mused. "He said that he was escaping."
"Even so, it's not our problem," Steve suddenly interjected shrugging. "I say we make him walk the plank and call it a day. He's no use to us, and why should we let him get away with stowing away on our ship? And who's to say that he won't try to steal our loot?"
"Okay, easy, Rogers," Tony quickly said holding up his hands to calm Steve down. "Let's not get hasty with the plank just yet. He clearly didn't come onto the ship to steal anything. He was running from Toomes, and…he seemed…scared of…something… Whether it's Toomes or something else, I don't know, but I want to find out. We might be able to help him."
They all looked at each other and then back at Tony with complete shock on their faces.
Tony stared at them for a moment before shrugging. "What?" he asked.
"Just…this is new for you," Rhodey said with a smirk. "Usually, you wouldn't have hesitated in throwing any prisoner or stowaway overboard."
Tony rolled his eyes and shook his head. "If he wasn't intending to steal anything and needs a way out," he began, "maybe we can help him out. He just looked…so scared. He at least deserves a chance to tell us his side of the story. Besides, I never trust looters." With that, the Captain stood up from his desk. "I'm going to talk to him."
Peter jolted when he heard the door leading down to the ship's brig open and then quickly slam closed, and he kept his head down on his knees in the corner trying to steady his breathing and his heart. He tried to muster his courage to face whatever these pirates planned to do to him. He couldn't be afraid. He refused to be afraid. His father always told him to never be afraid…to always look fear in the eye. So, he took a deep breath and looked up only to see that it was the Captain Tony Stark walking up to his cell and standing there looking at him, and Peter's eyes widened as he breathed shakily.
"W-What are you going to do to me?" he asked. "Kill me? Throw me overboard?"
Tony raised an eyebrow at the boy's question. "Do I have a reason to?" he asked.
"Why should I bother to tell you?" Peter retorted. "I tried to tell you that I didn't steal anything, and you threw me in here anyway."
Tony sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "I was told by the leader of a looting gang that a boy snuck aboard my ship," he began, "and I later find said boy trying to escape with several expensive things that he clearly can't afford. What was I supposed to do?"
Peter's face fell when he realized that the pirate had a point, and he sighed. Of course, they would imprison him when he snuck on his ship with a bunch of things he was accused of stealing. "Okay, fair point," he said, "so…are you going to throw me overboard…or make me walk the plank?"
Tony felt his heart break seeing the fear in the boy's eyes, but he managed to steel himself enough to focus. "Not…as of right now," he said as he sat on the floor in front of the cell. "I would like to know how you ended up on my ship, and I would like the truth."
The teenager looked at the pirate and then sighed. "It's a bit of a long story," he said.
"We've got time," Tony said insisting.
Peter could only sigh and began to tell his story. "I-I've lived in that town since I was born," he began, "with my parents and my aunt and uncle. We…didn't have much money, but…we had each other, that was all." He sighed shaking away the overwhelming grief. "Anyway, they all…they all died about a year ago."
"What?" Tony asked in complete shock.
Peter nodded. "They went sailing on Dad's ship," he said. "They were going to look for another place for us to live, but…there was a terrible storm at sea. They never came back after that, and I had been on my own since."
Tony stared at the boy clearly still in shock over what the boy was telling him. He was so young…a teenager, and he lost his parents, an aunt, and an uncle in one fell swoop. He had been on his own for almost a year. "And you don't have any other family members?" he asked.
"No, sir," Peter replied shaking his head.
The pirate stared at him in complete shock with his mouth open at the thought of this teenager being completely alone without any family left. He was an orphan…just as he was when his parents died. "So…had Toomes taken you in?" he asked urging the boy to continue.
"Not as a son or anything like that," Peter said leaning back against the wall, "but as a worker. It sort of became his thing where he takes on orphans like me and other children from poor families to work for him, and no other place would take me on for a job. So…he was my only option."
"I'm guessing that he wasn't the greatest option?" Tony asked raising an eyebrow again.
"Not exactly," Peter replied hugging his legs tighter to his chest. "The pay wasn't that great, and the other children got to go home or some type of place that wasn't there…except for me. He let me live in the stables so long as I continued to work, which—you know—I appreciated, but…it's not exactly comfortable…and he always had to make sure his family and crew were fed…which at times meant that there was hardly enough for me."
Now that Toomes was really looking at this stowaway, he could see just how malnourished and underfed he looked. The shirt he wore looked baggy on him, especially around his arms, and there were bags under his brown eyes. His heart broke just a little more for the boy, but he continued to steel himself. The Captain didn't say anything as Peter continued to speak.
"It…it wasn't all bad," he finally said after a moment with a small smile. "There was my best friend, Edward…and Michelle…and Elizabeth, Toomes' daughter. We…we stuck together as often as we could, but Edward and Michelle had their parents. And…Elizabeth…well…you know…"
"They made it bearable…" Tony finally said, "but…it wasn't enough."
Peter could only shake his head. "I knew I couldn't stay there forever," he said, "and I wanted to leave. I was getting sick of eating scraps and sleeping in hay. I wanted to just…get out and…start a new life for myself, you know, but how could I? I'm just a boy…and I have no money. I have nothing but the clothes on my back, and that was when Elizabeth got an idea…She often came to see me to sneak me some extra food or a clean blanket here and there, so…it wasn't anything new. Today, while her dad and his men were working—I suppose—she came to see me and told me that it was time for me to leave." The teenager would never forget the conviction in her dark brown eyes…the determination to help him. "She had a small sack, and I looked inside and saw that there was treasure inside it…a jeweled chalice, several gold coins…a pearl necklace, and an emerald ring."
Tony stared at the boy with widened eyes as he remembered that that was exactly what was in the sack, and he knew it wasn't theirs. When he first saw the kid, he could tell that he didn't have an evil bone in his body. He was good…too good, and he also lost so much yet still tried to earn a new life the honest way. "Go on," he said softly urging Peter to continue.
"She told me to take it and to leave while her father wasn't looking," Peter continued. "She…told me she would talk to Edward and Michelle, and that I should use the stuff to start a new life for myself…like I wanted. I tried to tell her that I couldn't just take her dad's things…that I didn't want to just steal from her father, but she insisted. She told me that her dad had countless riches that he stole and that he wasn't going to miss a few items. She practically shoved the sack into my hands and pushed me out the door telling me that I didn't have much time and that…t wasn't stealing when a friend gave it to you as a gift." He smiled to himself at the money…at the kindness Elizabeth had always shown him, especially on that day.
"Sounds like quite a friend," Tony said with a smile of his own.
Peter's smile widened as he nodded. "I couldn't say 'no' to that," he said, "so I had no choice but to listen to her. I hugged her and left." Then…his smile fell away. "I was just about to make a clean getaway when one of Toomes' guys found me trying to leave. He grabbed me, and I tried to tell him that I was going into the market for Toomes. He didn't believe me and got Toomes to come over. They…saw what was in my bag, and he asked me where I got that stuff. I…I didn't want to get Elizabeth in trouble, so…I told him that I stole it…that I was going to make money off it."
Tony's eyes widened at what the boy just told him. He couldn't believe what he just heard the boy say. "You…you didn't steal any of that stuff," he said slowly. "You accepted it as a gift from a friend…and when you were caught, you…you took the blame for her."
The boy looked up at him allowing the pirate to see the soft, warm brown eyes…that were so full of innocence. He simply nodded.
"Why?" Tony asked.
"Well, aside from the fact that she was my friend," Peter began shrugging, "I didn't want to see her get in trouble for trying to help me. I mean…I don't think he would've believed me, but…on the one chance he did, I couldn't take that risk. So…they were going to…punish me, but I…managed to get away with my stuff. They chased after me through practically all over town, and that was when I came across your ship. I was only planning to hide on it for a little while and then get off."
"But…what if he was waiting for you to get off?" Tony asked with a raised eyebrow. "You would've had to keep running, wouldn't you?"
"Probably," Peter replied as he sat up straighter. "I mean, I probably would've come up with something else, but I…guess it doesn't matter anymore."
"Right…" Tony thought, "you're imprisoned…on my ship…"
"Does that…answer your question, sir?" Peter asked after a moment.
"W-What question?" Tony asked aloud furrowing his eyebrows together.
"If…that…all that gives you a reason…to throw me overboard…or make me walk the plank," Peter replied sadly…with nervousness in his voice.
"Curses…" Tony thought to himself, "I forgot about that. But how can I possibly punish him when he did nothing wrong? He was helping a friend and wanted to start a new life. How could I punish him for that?" That was when he had an idea.
He sighed and shook his head. "No, lad," he said, "I'm not going to make you walk the plank or…anything like that. I…I can't punish someone for what you went through, especially when you've done nothing wrong."
Peter's eyes widened. "R-Really?" he asked in complete shock.
"Really," Tony said nodding. "I think you've been punished enough, and…you deserve to start over…to find something better for yourself."
Peter breathed a huge sigh of relief. "Thank you, sir," he said with a smile. "Thank you so much."
"However," Tony said raising an eyebrow, "there's still the matter of that fact that…you stowed away on my ship. I can't just have a child stay on my ship. What would that say to my crew?"
"W-Well, is there…is there anything I can do?" Peter asked. "There must be something I can do to earn my keep."
Tony scratched his bearded chin and thought for a moment. "You know," he said, "that's not a bad idea. The next port we're stopping at is about a month or so away. If you agree, you will work as my cabin boy. I'll pay you like I pay my crew, and when we've reached that port, you'll be free to take your pay and your stash to go on your merry way and to start that new life for yourself."
Peter stared at the Captain in complete shock. It sounded reasonable enough. He would get to work as part of the crew and earn his chance to stay onboard. He could get paid and get the chance to make a new life for himself. Only there was a problem… "But…what if I don't know how to do something on here?" he asked.
"Then we'll teach you," Tony said quickly. "If you don't want to, that's fine, but I would consider it if I were you. It's either that or you stay in this cell."
Peter took a deep, shaky breath realizing that he wasn't at liberty to argue with the Captain of the Avengers. He had a choice to either work or to stay imprisoned and not earn his keep, and he then realized that this wasn't hard. There was only one option. "Okay," he finally said, "I'll join the crew and work. Whatever you need done, I'll do it, Captain Stark, and when you reach this next port, I'll leave with my money and my things and go on my way."
"Good, well then—uhh…what's your name?"
"Peter Parker, sir."
"Peter Parker, huh… Well, don't worry, I know you know who I am."
"I sure do, Captain Stark, and I mean it, whatever job you need done, I'll do it."
"Well, good, I'm glad we're in agreement. Now then," he stood up with the keys and unlocked the door opening it for Peter, "I believe it's about time my new cabin boy met the crew."
Peter smiled in return as he stood up and walked out.
"Alright, let's get down to business," Tony said as the crew gathered around him and Peter, "this is Peter Parker, and he is going to work as our new cabin boy. We were able to work out an arrangement, and he will work until we reach the next port. Until then, make him feel welcomed and help him if he needs it. He's still new to sailing, so we'll have to teach him, is that clear?"
"Aye, aye, Captain," they all said in unison.
Peter couldn't help but smile as he watched the Avengers crew as they introduced themselves to him. Perhaps, this wouldn't be so bad after all.
Author's Note: Annnnnnnnnnnd that's Chapter 1, my friends! I hope you all enjoyed it! I'm planning to get Chapter 2 up this week, so stay tuned! See you in the next chapter! Don't forget to comment and favorite! Thanks, guys!
