Authors notice: I do not own Pokemon. Hey everyone I know it has been quite a long time since I last updated and as you all know, I had lost my vision and got cataracts in both my eyes thatliterally got worse last year.

I am glad to say the surgery to my left eye has gone through and everything went alright. Still suffering from light sensitivity sadly, so not much I can do about that. But luckily Google docs brought back Dark mode for desktops and I was able to write again without much problem. However- I must ask you all to be patient as much I can see through one eye, I might not catch any errors or words being missing for my stories. My next surgery is in spring of this year, so hopefully when that happens- I won't have to worry about light sensitivity. As well being back 100% or at least, 90% back XD.

Anyway- For what plans I have right now? I am planning three of five stories in the future with only one chapters. Too which I want to see what you all will be interested in seeing or me attempting. This story in particular is a side story focusing on Ash's Pikachu and connection to A Different Tale of Ash ketchum. Which will be through Pikachu's eyes with what ifs chapters and canon chapters, alongside Pikachu getting into situations like Ash does.

This and along with the other stories in mind, is to help me to get back into writing again- as well get back into flow of things too. So I hope you all enjoy and have fun reading this chapter, and future stories that will come alongside this one. Too which then I will get back to updating the other stories.

The song used is Find your flame" from Sonic Frontiers. So without further adieu, enjoy and hope you all have fun!

A Different Tale of Pikachu

Chapter 1: Pikachu's new life!

In a world, where the sky is blue, the sea is vast and the land is inhabited by humans, it is filled with marvelous creatures known as Pokemon. They live in forests, cities, mountains; everywhere one could imagine. Even among the cities and with humans, where they live as pets. One in particular that will be focused on is located in a dense forest that's filled with a bunch of various Pokémon. Oh! Speak of the devil, here's that Pokémon now.

A Pokémon that looked like a mouse with yellow fur can be seen climbing up one of the trees in the forest. Soft, pink colored dots, which are his electric sacks, are on the cheeks of his face. Black fur ran along the tips and edges of his ears, with his lightning bolt shaped tail also being the color black. This Pokemon is known as Pichu, the pre-evolution of Pikachu.

"Pichu?" The electric mouse's ears twitched and began looking around cutely as he thought he heard his name. The baby Pokémon then faced outward, blinking its black eyes before scratching his head in confusion. "Pichu?" he chatted before looking away with a shrug and then smiled brightly as he began reaching for one of the nuts in the area. "Piichu-" He said as he tried swiping and grabbing a nut that was a little out of reach. "Piichu!" He said again before placing both paws onto the nut, giving a happy chu.

The tiny, electric mouse then pulls it off the small branch and happily throws its arms up and down cutely, doing a small victory dance. After his moment of triumph, he then clenched his eyes tightly and let out some electricity from its cheeks. This gave the nut an electric discharge, cooking it. Once it was done, Pichu happily peeled away its burnt skin and began munching on it. "Pichu-chu!"" it happily chanted and plopped himself down on the thick branch he was sitting on, continuing to eat the nut. However, Pichu's meal wouldn't be a safe one as the little Pokemon had unintentionally stepped into another Pokémon's territory.

"Kuki-ki-ki!" It chanted out angrily towards Pich, who hummed and blinked his eyes confusingly before turning his attention to the Pokemon. It was a bipedal, simian Pokémon with a round body and white, shaggy fur, and a nose like a pig's snout. It had red, narrow eyes and triangular ears on top of its head. Finally, its hands and feet had three fingers and two toes respectively, with their color and the tip of their tail being brown. This aggressive Pokémon is Mankey, and it was not happy to see Pichu.

"Kukiii!" It screeched out and vented towards Pichu, telling him how dare the electric mouse step into its territory and steal its food! Pichu tilts his head confusingly, but then eye smiled and hands out the half eaten nut he had, offering it to the Mankey. However, the simian just got even madder and leaped onto the branch Pichu's sitting on, before slapping the nut away. Pichu frantically tried to grab it before it fell, watching as it smashed onto the ground below.

This had Mankey eye smiling smugly as they booked Pichu in a belittling manner. This caused Pichu, who was still looking down from the branch, to growl and leap onto his feet, getting close to the face of Mankey. "PICHU! Pichu-chu-chu!" he shouted angrily while sparking his cheeks, demanding to know what's wrong with the Pokemon. Only to shrink down and gulp when the Pokémon's temper rises to even higher levels, as it towers over Pichu with a serious glare. One that promises Pichu that he wasn't going to come out of this alive.

"Mankey…" It growled dangerously low, taunting Pichu and asking if the little Pokemon is brave enough to take it on. Pichu sweatdropped and began letting out a low long "Chu."

The scene changes to the forest ground, the next thing that could be heard was Pichu's frightening scream, as he came running swiftly down the tree bark and pumping all of its energy it could to run away from the Pokémon! Mankey leaped and swung off from the tree branches and tree barks, giving chase towards the little Pokémon!

Pichu desperately needed to find a way to escape from the Mankey. His heart racing and chest pounding, his mind going hundred miles per second trying to think and plan how to escape from the simian. He turned his head over his shoulders and then let out a scream of terror and bulged his eyes at the sight of Maneky. After landing on the ground, it began increasing its speed, while using what seemed to be Focus energy!

"PICHU-Chu-Chu!" The electric mouse screamed out as he ran by a couple of Oddishes, Combee's and even Caterpies as he screamed out, "out of the way, it's trying to kick my butt!" towards the Pokémon. They all stared at Pichu, before turning towards whoever was chasing him?

All of them screamed in panic when they saw it was a Mankey who was giving chase. They immediately scrambled about to get out of the way of the Pokémon, knowing full well to never mess with these Pokemon. This is due to them having very bad temper, and once it gets going Mankey will not stop attacking until their prey either faints, or worse. The fighting simian continued screeching and yelling out its battlecry! It ran past the other Pokémon as it was laser focused on harming Pichu! The latter didn't want to slow down whatsoever and even did a quick turn towards the right after passing some riverbanks and meadows. He passed by a couple more Pokemon, who yelped or let out frightful screams when they saw Pichu, but also the Mankey. They all made sure not to get involved or stay in the way, knowing that helping Pichu will be a death sentence for them.

The Pichu panted and breathed heavily, all the while forming some sweat on his forehead. His stamina was running low, and he even felt his speed slowing down for how exhausted he was. Before he knew it, Pichu let out a cry of pain when he got tackled by the Mankey still chasing him down, sending the electric mouse right out of the forest and into the open fields. The little Pokemon bounced and rolled uncontrollably on the ground, yelping when he hit against a boulder and slid down from it. He shook his head to gain focus, before widening his eyes and gritting his teeth in fear. The Mankey, who's now stomping his way towards Pichu, had a glint in its eyes and began chuckling menacingly towards the little Pokemon.

Pichu bared his fangs and began sparking some electricity from his cheek sacs. As he charged up, he shut his eyes tightly and began firing off a Thunder shock attack towards Mankey. The simian let out a confusing ook, before it began dancing and flailing about when the Thunder shock attack landed on it, electrocuting the pig monkey Pokemon. Though it came to a stop.

Mankey felt smoke rising up from its fur, before shaking its body and became even more angry and frustrated at Pichu, as the yellow mouse felt dizzy and had swirls in his eyes. Pichu's often hurt themselves whenever using an electric type move, due to their underdeveloped electric sacs. This causes them to harm themselves when discharging electricity, but it can properly use them once they are old enough or gain experience using their electricity.

The Mankey growled out and began charging straight towards Pichu, who shook out of his stupor and let out a frightful scream and literally pressed himself against the boulder behind him. The electric rodent fired off small bursts of electricity to Mankey, both in hopes of not hurting himself but also making the Pokemon faint. But it was for naught, the Mankey was too swift as it jumps left and right with each bolt firing towards it. The fighting Pokémon dodged them with relative ease, gaining distance fast to Pichu who was panting heavily. However, Pichu then ran forward and leapt slightly into the air, before coming back down and rolling along the ground!

This surprised Mankey greatly when they tried to use a Karate chop on him, missing completely and destroying the boulder Pichu was pressed against. It then let out another frightful scream as another discharge of Thunder shock hit Mankey, but immediately stopped as soon as it hit. This made the fighting type Pokemon pant and breathe heavily as it slowly turned its body around. It saw the exhausted and tiring Pichu, who grinned tauntingly at Mankey. The simian's anger rose beyond unhealthy levels and let out a bloody murder screech that caused Pichu to go pale and begin stepping back slowly. He mentally weighs his options of running or standing his ground and continuing fighting.

Normally, Pichu's would run for safety or head back to their parents for protection. However, this Pichu is orphaned; he doesn't have any family and was hatched out in the wild on his own. Having to defend himself and even find food to eat, the little guy's life would have ended as soon as it headed out into the wild. But this Pichu is surprisingly quite adaptive and witty. But wits and luck can only go so far, as this situation shows. Pichu gulps as he begins panting heavier now, looking a bit bruised from the damages it received. Pichu closed his eyes and prayed for someone, anyone to come and rescue him as he heard Mankey letting out another cry, while charging straight towards the electric Pokémon!

Pichu felt his legs giving in and fell to the ground. He was ready to accept his fate and receive a pummeling from the Mankey. But then, his prayers were answered as Pichu opened his eyes and heard what sounded like a dangerous and threatening roar! Followed by a large and tall looking Pokemon getting in front of him. The new arrival gathered energy on its right fist and threw the punch forward at the Mankey, hitting it square in the face, sending it flying towards the air and slamming down hard and fast towards the boulder from earlier. Pichu's hero was crushing Mankey easily with its body and knocking the simian off its feet. Only for it to quickly leap back up, but then let out another painful cry when that same Pokemon charged forward again. Using another punching move, the Pokémon sends Mankey flying once more and closer to the dense forest nearby.

After getting up, the monkey Pokemon turned yeller and made a b-line out of there. It didn't want to receive anymore pain and punishment from the menacing Pokemon. Said Pokemon blew some air through its nostrils, before it slowly turned around towards the injured Pichu and began walking to him. It watched as the little guy shook and trembled, even noticing his very hazy eyes as he struggled to get back onto his feet. All the while letting out a very weak discharge of electricity. His vision faded in and out, as he saw the Pokemon, and another one within its stomach? The last thing he saw was the Pokémon towering over him, before leaning down to check him out. But then, his vision blacked out, fainting from the exhaustion alone.

Xxx

A couple of hours had passed for little Pichu as the electric mouse stirred, tossing against something that felt soft and ticklish. This alerted the Pokémon, who let out a squeak and sat upright, throwing hay off from his body. He panted and breathed lightly from waking up, then turned his body left to right to see where he was. Once his vision had cleared, he noticed he was in a nice and cool cave, which looked quite deep inside. His eyes slowly began scanning his surroundings.

The Pichu took note of other hay piles within the cave, implying this was a nesting ground of some sort. There were even signs of little objects and debris here and there, as if some Pokémon were using them to play with or naw on. He turned his head to the right of him and then down to the floor, noticing what seemed to be crushed Oran berries with juices slathered on the ground. "Pi?" He curiously hummed, lifting his paw towards his lips and wiped some juices off from them, then stared at his paw. "Chu?" He chanted softly and wiggled his fingers as he cleaned and whipped the blue juices from them. The little Pokémon then tilted his head and lowered his ears, theorizing that someone must've taken him in and poured Oran berry juice into his mouth.

Now that he's awake and more aware, Pichu gently and carefully gets up from the haystack. He even took notice of how his injuries were gone, seeming to be fully recovered. "Pichu, chu?" He curiously spoke to himself and began flexing his fingers. Whoever brought him here took care of him and brought berries to heal his injuries. "Pii…" he then tilted his head some more and crossed his arms, wagging his tail up and down. He tried wrapping his brain around who could've done this. Was it that giant Pokemon he saw before passing out? Were they the one that brought him here and healed his injuries?

"Kangaskhan!" A Pokémon cry echoed through the cave, causing Pichu's eyes to widen and nearly jump out of his skin. He threw his left arm over his body in defense and began sparking electricity. Only to immediately calm down and lower his guard, letting go of his discharge… then blinked his eyes at the cave entrance. He heard more of the Pokémon's cry along with others, making Pichu to hum and begin walking his way to the entrance to investigate. Pichu shielded his eyes when the sun glares hit his eyes, but then quickly recovered his vision and let out a wondrous coo at the sight before him. Pichu was in the presence of a Kangaskhan herd!

Kangaskhan: the motherly Pokémon. They are caring and nurturing Pokémon who watch out for its kind and the little ones that live in their pouches. Their motherly nature makes it so that they will not abandon any young Pokémon, or Human babies, to be left uncared for, willingly adopting them into their herd and raising them as their own. These marvelous creatures are very rare in the Pokémon world.

Researchers who discover and find them out in the wild are always sure to keep themselves apart from the Pokémon. For they are afraid of stepping into their territory or getting near their children, in case they instill their wrath. Funnily enough however, it's usually the children Pokemon and the mother approaching the scientists, happily welcoming them, since their children will often not see these humans as threats. Same goes for other wild Pokemon in the fields.

Pichu couldn't believe he's in their presence, let alone being allowed near the herd as such. Pichu then blinked his eyes when he saw one of the Kangaskhan and her cub, who looked towards the cave entrance and let out big wide smiles to him. "Kangaskhan, kan." The mother called out to Pichu and even waved towards him. She wanted him to come on out and enjoy the sunshine with everyone. While the little one who is out of the pouch, did the same and was jumping excitingly wanting to meet her brother! Pichu lowered one eye halfway and scratched the side of his face,

"Brother?" Pichu thought to himself confused, before quickly coming to the realization that he probably got adopted by her mother, and is now seen as the little cub's brother. Shrugging nonchalantly, Pichu figured it would be rude to ignore their invite. With that in mind, he went ahead and began running through the fields, moving towards the cub and the mother Kanghaskan.

The mother seemingly had a brighter smile and looked elated seeing Pichu is alright, appearing to be at full health. She happily places her hands against her wide and soft looking hips, with her fingers pressing lightly against her firm, thick yet slim thighs. "Kangaskhan, kan." She began saying, telling Pichu how worried she was for his health and even got afraid he wouldn't make it with the injuries he suffered.

Pichu hummed as he looked up towards the mother Kanghaskan, having a hard time seeing past her incredible looking figure. Her large mountains, or what he believes they're called, were blocking his view from the mom's face. The female Pokémon giggled and leaned forward, having her bosoms that were literally reaching down to her stomach bounce and jiggle lightly in front of Pichu. When Pichu bravely pointed to her breasts and blurted out how she hadn't fallen over from them, Kangaskhan was blushing and nearly burst into laughter. "Kanga..ka-" The mother was about to give a reason, but paused and then stood upright. She then cutely placed her hand under her chin, now questioning it herself, how was she able to keep her balance? She didn't think about it long, however, and shrugged while giggling, saying magic towards Pichu. She blushed and laughed some more when Pichu looked ahead and let out a low hum.

"Kanga, han!" The little baby spoke up this time and approached Pichu. She playfully began hopping around Pichu, saying "My brother is okay, My brother is okay!" The baby then hugged Pichu, who grunted out from the sudden hug, but sheepishly laughed and hugged back. "Kanga, kanga!" She chanted after pulling away, asking Pichu if he was hungry? Too which he was about to deny the offer, but his stomach said otherwise, as it growled and rumbled quite loudly. Pichu groaned and held his stomach, whining out how the only food he did find was that nut, before Mankey swiped it out of his hands and it hit the ground.

"Kanga…" The mother expressed sympathy towards the Pichu. She moves forward and leans down, surprising Pichu when he feels her hands wrapping around him and then lifts him up into the air. The electric mouse felt his face turning a bit red when he was face to face with the mother. He was amazed at how soft and smooth her face and skin looks. She looked to be quite a healthy Kanghaskan.

Pichu then hummed as he noticed something a little odd about her? This didn't go unnoticed by her as she blinked her eyes in confusion. She turned her head to where Pichu was looking and saw him observing the rest of the herd. Some of them looked quite tall and menacing, plump and wide. A lot of them looked a little chubby too, but they were by no means fat. Though some of their proportions look a little uneven with each other.

Compared to the Kangaskhan holding him, she looked to be quite even with her figure and not at all looking disproportionate, let alone looking chubby in places. "Pichu, chu?" He quipped, asking why she seems more healthy than the others or not so chubby or fat. This made the mom in front of him stare for a couple of seconds, before sighing in a sheepish manner. This had Pichu tilt his head in confusion, before smiling brightly when Kangaskhan smiled and tells him, "Kanga, Kan, kan." She explained that she's actually much younger than the other Kangaskhan, and unlike them, she actually trained herself in order to protect her baby. Or she should say her babies, now that he's with her, and playfully nuzzled her nose against Pichu. This had the electric type to laugh and giggle from the tickling sensation!

"Pichu! Chu!" He cheered happily, saying how cool that is. Telling the mother how he wants to be like that too! Once he evolves, he wants to train and become strong in order to protect himself in the wild, as well as any friends or family he might find or make. Both the mother and the baby smiled, cheering at how marvelous that dream of his is. They laughed again when Pichu's stomach growled once more, having the mouse sheepishly rub the back of his head in embarrassment. His new adoptive mother gives him an endearing smile, as she softly brings him to one of her bosoms, confusing the mouse greatly with her actions?

But then, his nose picked up a scent of milk, and began sniffing around until his nose touched the small pink nub around her breast. The yellow Pokémon then widened his eyes, pulling back in surprise at the Kangaskhan's action, with bewilderment etched across his face. Pichu's reaction caused the mother to raise an eyebrow out of confusion, until it quickly turned into concern as she took note of Pichu's body behavior.

"Kang?" she asked the mouse if he had ever drank milk before? To which Pichu looked at her and then back to her breast, before shaking his head to tell her he hadn't. This only made mother's concerns turn into worry, hoping the next thing she asks wasn't true. "Kangaskhan, kan?" She then asked Pichu if he had any relatives or a mother that took care of him?

Pichu shook his head and rubbed his right cheek, "Pii…Pichu, chu." stating how he was orphaned. When he hatched out from his egg, there was nobody there to watch or care for him. The only thing he had was a den of some sorts, with plenty of berries and water inside of it. But other than that, he mostly lived alone and took care of himself. This had both the baby and mother to stare at one another with soft coos and whines, the mother especially super worried how a parent would even abandon their own baby? Though she didn't want to think that or think illy of Pichu's mother. However, the next thing she would hear cleared her consciousness, but also made her feel more sad and upset at what Pichu said next.

"Pichu, chu, Pii." He stated that couldn't figure out why his mom wasn't there, but once his senses were clear and more developed, he smelled something. It was a horrible stench coming from outside near the den. He didn't know what it was, but he knew that he didn't want to live there anymore. This had Kanghaskan widen her eyes and then soften them. She now had a grasp of the situation and what may have happened to Pichu's mom. She didn't abandon him, she protected not just herself but also his egg from predators.

"Kangaskhan…han." The mother brought him close to her face, hugging him deeply and nuzzling her cheek against his own. Both felt a bit of tears forming around her eyes before Kangaskhan pulled back. She noticed Pichu's expression turned to worry, but he then smiled when she just smiled back and told him how he is safe now, and doesn't need to worry about anything. After that was said and done, Kangaskhan would begin teaching Pichu how to drink her milk.

The mom gently caressed the back of Pichu's head in a caring manner, and kindly asked him to open his mouth. Though he was confused, the electric Pokémon did as she requested. The yellow mouse was taken by surprise when he felt her nudge the back of his head, pushing him into her bosom. As soon as his lips latched onto the nub of her breast, Pichu was shocked by what was happening and looked back up at the Kangaskhan mother, wondering what she was doing. He soon found his answer as she looked down at the little Pokémon with a motherly, warm smile.

"Kangaskhan, Kanga Kang." She told him that it was alright, that there was nothing to be worried about as she was simply going to feed him her milk. Pichu quickly put two and two together, finally realizing what she was doing and why. However, even though he understood her reasons, he couldn't help but feel a small bit of reluctance to do so. It wasn't due to a lack of trust, but he had been on his own for so long, taking care of himself without any help before now. At the same time though, in the little time he's known her she has been nothing but kind to him, bringing him into her family, and he was still pretty hungry too.

Before he could make a decision, the mother felt something pat her on the leg, making her look away from Pichu and down at the source. It turns out it was her daughter, who raised her arms up to her mom and made adorable noises, asking if she could be fed milk too. Kangaskhan, smiling softly at her child, nodded affirmingly. She held Pichu in one arm, who had temporarily latched off her bosom, while she used her other arm to pick her daughter up and bring her to her other boob.

Once the baby Kangaskhan was in front of her mother's chest, she placed her lips around her mom's nipple. Once she grabbed it with her mouth, the little Kangaskhan quickly started to drink her mother's milk, while the former closed her eyes in content. Meanwhile, the mother Kanghaskan felt the sensation of her milk leaking from her chest, causing her cheeks to tint pink. She closed her eyes in bliss and let out what sounded like a sigh, or possibly a hum of relief. As she cracked open one of her eyes, she looked at her daughter, who was suckling on her nub, and lovingly rubbed her child's head.

Pichu witnessed this all happening in front of him, and saw how happy both of them looked. Kangaskhan clearly enjoyed taking care of her daughter, and the latter must've really loved her mom's milk to ask if she could drink some. With curiosity being the last push he needed, Pichu found his resolve and made a decision. He once again latched onto her teat with his mouth. As the electric mouse began to suck on her breast, not only did he hear the faint sound of a moan, it soon escaped his mind as he would soon feel something gush into his mouth.

What touched his tongue was perhaps the tastiest liquid to ever grace Pichu's taste buds. Not only was there a creamy texture, but even a hint of sweetness as well. No wonder his new sister wanted to drink this milk! Pichu didn't want to admit it, but he could get addicted if he were to drink this for the rest of his life. Invigorated, Pichu gulped down his new mother's milk, as Kangaskhan watched on; elated to see both her children being fed. His sister, who stopped drinking for a moment, also saw and smiled before she resumed drinking her milk.

After they finished their lesson in nurturing, the three went ahead and joined the other Kanghaskan and their families. The mother and her baby introduced Pichu to the herd, who welcomed the little Pokemon to the group. Even being cute around the little guy, picking him up and nuzzling against him. Some playfully rubbing his head and messing with his ears, while their children would dogpile and play with Pichu. They even had him chase them around, as they were laughing and giggling about. The mother who adopted him quickly informed and told the rest of the herd about Pichu's upbringing, informing them how the little Pokemon is an orphan and that his mother passed away defending her den and egg.

This had the mothers widening their eyes, with some being very sympathetic. They all nodded in understanding, understanding the little tyke's situation and how he is still technically a baby and is still growing. They had no problem welcoming Pichu to the herd, one of them laughed and began looking at their children who were all playing with Pichu. They would occasionally stop and then run off when he would try and tackle him, to even giggling from the small and surprisingly soft discharge of electricity he gives them. He was both mindful of not hurting them, but also not hurting himself. As one mother went ahead and saw how he adapted quite easily into the herd, they were even surprised how well their children were welcoming Pichu to their family.

One of the Kangaskhan had the mother, who adopted him, turn completely red when she said that, after he evolves, he could be quite a handsome mate, especially for her if they wanted too? This had Pichu's adoptive mom thrust her arms down, shouting and scolding her for saying, leading the other Kangaskhan to laugh at her expense. Which prompted a swift dynamic punch to the other's face, sending her tumbling backwards and becoming confused as she teetered and wobbled about. This got the other mothers to chortle and boast in laughter, as Pichu's mother shook her fist, having steam coming out from her ears while her face was red. She muttered out how that wasn't funny, not believing she would ever look at her new addition to the family like that!

She flinched and turned completely pink, however, when one mother crossed her arms, lifting her bosoms upward and leaning close. "Yes, but he is and will be the only male here. You may not want to admit it. But if he becomes quite the looker, he has a lot to prepare for." She whispers out, shielding herself playfully when Pichu's mom haphazardly whacks her hand at the other Kangaskhan, causing their kids and Pichu to stare confusingly at their moms. They then look at Pichu and his sister, one of them asking what's going on? Both he and his sister just shrugged their arms, not entirely sure what's going on, but whatever it was seemed to embarrass their mom. Figuring that was the best answer they could get, the children went ahead and surprised Pichu, who let out a yell and began laughing wildly as they all dogpile him and began tickling the electric Pokémon.

Xxx

After things had settled down with the other Kangaskhan, the mothers called their children over, so they could take a small break or take a nap; to rest up and regain their energy for their next activities. Pichu watched as the other baby Pokémon ran and waddled their way over to their moms. Pichu let out a quiet whine while he openly stared at the large group of Kangaskhan, who bent down, picked their children up and nuzzled them. Pichu's ears twitched up and down as he was thinking to himself with curiosity. His mind wandered deep within his thoughts and began replacing the scenery in front of him.

He thought about what could have been him and his mom. A mother Pikachu, maybe even a Raichu, and a littler version of himself just running circles around his mama. Then she'd catch him and both would press their cheeks up close to each other while rubbing their cheek sacs against themselves. Giving them both comforting electric shocks to each other. "What could have been…" Pichu thought these words to himself as water formed in the corner of his eyes, with the imagery disappearing and going back to the herd and their children.

"Piichuu…" Pichu whined softly, as his adoptive mother observed caringly towards the electric mouse. Noticing the little tyke's tears, she turns her attention to the herd and watches them cradling and rocking their baby Pokemon in their arms. The Kanghaskan looks back towards Pichu and lets out a low grunt, understanding that the little guy is imagining what it would have been like if his mother was doing that for him. She smiled when Pichu quickly wiped away the tears when her daughter approached him. She cutely leaned forward and cried out to him, asking if he was alright. Pichu did his best to reply without sounding like he was upset, trying to keep a strong facade for his sister.

The mother hummed and began stroking her chin in thought, before snapping her fingers! She figured out the best way to cheer up her son, to help him train and become strong like he declared earlier today. "Kangaskhan, kan." The mom suddenly spoke up, having her daughter and Pichu turn their heads to the mother and blink their eyes. "Kanga, Kangaskhan." She told the two to come and follow her. She has something in mind to make their day more active. The two kids looked at one another, with the daughter shrugging and began following her mother, with Pichu right behind her. As they did, the trio would soon be out somewhere, away from the nesting grounds and out in the open fields.

The mother went ahead and prepared to tell her kids something, while they were walking towards the open field, with some rocks and boulders nearby. She said that, starting today, she'll begin training them in the ways of battling, to defend themselves, but also those they want to protect. The mother couldn't help but widen her eyes when she saw her daughter squealing in delight, saying how she always wanted to learn mamma's ways of fighting. Pichu had a huge smile on his face, while rapidly nodding his head! Saying how he too wants to learn and get started with training, learning how to fight properly. Their reactions had the mom sheepishly look away and scratching the side of her cheek, muttering out how she never expected to have her children be excited about learning how to battle.

Though the Kangaskhan raised up one claw and wiggled it, telling the two that she might not be able to teach them everything at their current age. Especially Pichu, since she might not be able to help him control his electricity without hurting himself. The mother crossed her arms, explaining how she isn't an electric type, let alone a Pichu herself, but knows that he could be able to master his electricity if he learns to control it himself. She then eye smiled as she saw Pichu letting out an amazed coo, eyes sparkling at the idea of controlling his electricity. Only to then blink his eyes and then tilt his head cutely to the right, asking the important question, "How would I know I can control it?"

The mother hummed and thought it over, before she beams proudly to Pichu and her daughter while placing her hands onto her hips. She answered, "You'll know once it clicks with you." Leaving it at that, the daughter gave out her own coo and smiled at Pichu, whispering how her mother sounded like a sage, getting Pichu to nod his head in agreement. Both kids then laughed when they saw their mom was blushing, beginning to become bashful and sheepishly covering her face earning more giggles and chuckles from her children.

The mother quickly cleared her throat and then clapped her hands, before telling her kids that was enough laughing and teasing their mother; it was time to train. Kangaskhan quickly reminded them that she won't go easy on them whatsoever, considering she is very serious when it comes to training, as she stayed fit for any type of emergency. As well as battles that she had to face while growing up and living with her own mother. At that statement, Pichu cutely raised his paw and waved it, having his mom pause her sentence, before she laughed and nodded to him, asking what his question was. Pichu asked if it's because of her training that she's more fit and active than the other herd, while quickly adding how he didn't want to sound rude when asking. Even her daughter asks the same question, wondering if that's why mama is different from the other mother Kangaskhan?

This had the mother stare openly as she looked at the two for a bit, then slowly shifted her eyes down to the corner of her face, then shifted them up towards the sky. She was trying to find the right answers, while also not sounding insensitive to her fellow Kangaskhan, who are her friends and fellow mothers. However, it might come out as such either way, and figured to try to make it sound as respectful as she possibly could. She then smiles and nods, explaining to her two kids that the reason the other mothers don't look like her is because they love their children so much. They don't want anything bad to happen to their kids or for them to pick up any bad habits from their parents. This was the best answer she could give the two children, as that's mostly true. Not only that, but they also don't have much reason to train or battle as it might put their babies in danger.

The kids hummed as they absorbed the answer, then Pichu let out a quick 'chu' and beamed widely as he found the answer. "Oh, I get it, they don't want to hurt their kids!" His statement had the mother laughing happily. Then Pichu started boasting in laughter when his mom scooped him up and spun him around, shouting how he's absolutely correct and placed him back down. She then quickly did the same to her daughter too, knowing she probably wanted to be spun around as well. After placing them down and smiling at her kids, while petting their heads, she went ahead and cleared her throat. Letting them know their chit chat is done, it was time to train! She figured to start with the basics for the two of them, and have the kids begin with minor exercises.

The first thing she had them do, while joining alongside them, is to build up their stamina by doing some running and jumping within the fields. The mother went ahead and used a Dizzy punch to break some nearby trees and boulders, to create a makeshift training area for the kids. She rolled some of the trees in the paths they will take, while lifting and carrying some boulders to said track. The kids watched in awe at their mother's strength and ability to carry such large objects. Pichu then sweat drops and laughs sheepishly about how he probably won't be able to carry things like that anytime in the future. Then playfully lowered his head when his sister giggled and patted his back, saying "There-there." She started to laugh when Pichu playfully gave her a small discharge, causing her to go into fits of giggles for how ticklish it felt.

When everything was set up and the track was ready for the kids, the two children and their mom will begin their training! The mom waited at the starting point for her children, telling them to try a full lap around the field she created. Kangaskhan made sure there would be obstacles in their way and objects for them to try and maneuver from, as a testament to their stamina, speed and reaction times. However, when they did start, the mom winced and flinched, even covering her eyes when Pichu and her daughter were… basically failing every single part of the course she made. At one point, her daughter didn't even make it through the three obstacles in the track, and began crying and wailing out for her mother. As for Pichu… he got his tail stuck in between some tree branches and thrashed about, to then let loose his temper and began using Thundershock to break free, only to faint and pass out on the spot.

This had the mother sigh and groan inwardly as she slapped one hand over her eyes and face, dragging it down and softly shaking her head. "This might've been a bad idea… but they do say you can't learn if you don't fail." She thought to herself and went ahead to retrieve her crying daughter and her recently passed out son who is just dangling upside down and having what seemed to be a very frustrated look on his face. He looked up when his mom came over and saw her and his sister staring down at him, then nearly burst into laughter when he crossed his arms, blushing in embarrassment. "My tail got stuck and now behaving like a slakoth…" he muttered out and then began snickering when his family's laughter got the best of him and then was freed from his predicament.

A couple of hours have passed for the two children, with their demeanor being upset from having trouble doing the course their mother made. Despite that, the two try again and hope for the best that they get farther than when they previously could. The baby Kangaskhan even smacks her cheeks in order to psyche herself up, promising she won't cry this time. While Pichu hardened his look and tried to be more determined and mindful of how he approaches the challenges in front of them. But once again, despite getting farther than last time, the two children couldn't progress past the same obstacles as before. Though the daughter managed to push through just a little bit, at least until her bruises, scratches and exhaustion got the better of her. Pichu's sister sat down and began complaining how tired she is and even plops down against her back.

"I'm sorry mama, I tried my best but it… it's so hard." The daughter apologized to her mother when she approached her. She smiled softly when her mom shook her head, letting her know that it's okay. She reminded her and Pichu this was mostly to help with their stamina, their speed and reaction time is just an added bonus for them. The two then faced towards Pichu and, once again, saw him hanging off the branch of the large tree their mother had placed with his tail, while letting out a sigh. But then the mom widened her eyes when Pichu, who crossed his arms and began growling in thought, opened his eyes and looked towards the branch, as he tried wiggling his butt to free his tail. He then felt his body swinging left to right, let out a chu and then smirked. The next thing he did left the two Kangaskhan in awe as he began throwing his weight around and swinging his arms forward and back, causing the trapped tail to bend and bounce the branch slightly around, which freed his tail when he swung completely forward and flipped into the air. Though both family members had to wince when Pichu's flip turned more into a tumble as he slammed head first into the ground and began rolling forward until he was on his back. This resulted in a large bump on his head and even swirly eyes, indicating he had fainted from the impact to the ground.

The mother decided that was probably enough training for now, since it was getting late. She needed to bring them back to the herd and get the two of them cleaned up and ready to start harvesting some fruits, berries and even some water for them all to share and have with the family. Once she scooped Pichu up and placed him and his sister into her pouch, the mother went ahead and began walking back to the herd. Pichu, who recovered from his fainting spell, lightly placed his chin on the edge of the pouch and then turned his head ever slightly to look behind his mother. He was staring back at the training field she made for him and his sister. The electric mouse whined inwardly, blaming himself and believing he had failed his mom for not even passing the first three hurdles of the training field. Even after making his declaration of wanting to become strong and protect those he loves and cares about. He then hardens his eyes at the fields, silently promising himself that he will do better!

"Once we are done with supper and take a bath, I'll come back and try again when they fall asleep." He told himself as they left the fields and went back to the herd.

Just like Pichu said, after they were done bathing and having dinner with everyone, the little mouse waited until everyone was asleep and passed out within the den. He opened his eyes carefully in the middle of the night, wagging his black tail gently into the air, in order to pick up or sense anyone who might be awake. The electric Pokémon then slowly rose up onto his four paws and looked around, smiling silently to himself seeing the coast was clear and nobody was awake. He carefully removed himself from his mother pouch, being sure not to disturb her or his sister and climbed over it. He lightly dangles from it before letting go, landing softly onto the floor. The young Pokémon quickly shut his eyes, hoping the shuffling of the hay didn't disturb anyone. When nobody made a sound, he exhaled in relief and then proceeded forward towards the cave's exit.

Though when doing so he had obstacles to avoid, or in this case… Kangaskhan. The little electric mouse hummed as he carefully and wobbly stood up onto two of his back paws, then stood on his toes, to see past most of the mothers that were sleeping. His ears twitching, he thought of how he can do this without waking them up or disturbing them? The Pichu sucked his lower lip in and then crossed his arms over his chest, then stood back normally and began lightly tapping his one foot. He then smirks, figuring he could sneak past or around the mothers without touching them. Even playing out how he should do this in his head… though everything came up with was either a dead end, accidentally stepping onto the tails, tripping over his four feet or slipping on the discarded Oran berries skin.

He murmurs to himself as he begins tapping his foot some more, before looking down at it and then spreading his arms apart. He saw that he hadn't lost his balance at all, or felt weird about standing on his hind legs like the others. "Pichu..Chu!" he almost exclaimed in excitement, though quickly covered his mouth to stay quiet, then softly sighs. The electric type Pokémon though smiled and came up with a way to pass everyone without bothering them or even waking them up. Instead of trying to exit the cave on all fours, why not walk on two legs like his family and exit the cave that way? He will be able to squeeze through tight spots like this and even tiptoe over any berry skins that were on the floor.

So with that in mind, Pichu did his best to keep his balance and began putting one foot in front of the other. His body wobbles and shakes when doing so, even feeling his paws slightly bending or twitching about. But it quickly stopped when he began placing the other foot over the other, then doing the same to the other. He repeated the process until his body felt natural to it and began walking, with still a bit of a struggle here and there, towards the cave's exit. Maneuvering around the family and herd without much of a hitch or problems… Except for one moment where he did lose his balance and had to quickly grab onto something, which was one of the Kangaskhan's tails. This made Pichu quickly whip his hands away and shut his eyes tightly, holding in his breath in hopes that didn't wake the Pokemon.

Only to quickly let go of his breath when he saw the Pokemon just moving and curling her tail closer to herself. This gave Pichu free movement and pathway right towards the cave's exit, which he began heading towards and exited the den. He nearly let out a cheer as he stood in front of the entrance now and began hopping up and down in delight, before going on all fours and began darting towards the training field his mother made for him and his sister. Unbeknownst to him though, the herd and his mother began snickering and laughing silently to themselves. They each gently opened one eye towards the cave entrance and then towards one another, before smiling at each other. They all went ahead and began shuffling to different spots of the den to sleep in. Apparently they had planned the entire thing and, after hearing from his mother, had suspicion that Pichu would try leaving the cave and head back to the training spot.

So they purposely slept in ways that would have blocked his way, thinking he would walk on all fours. But the Kangaskhan also figured that Pichu would one day start walking on two legs, being influenced to walk just like them. By planning this, they succeeded in helping the little guy move and walk just like the herd. Just like the children in their pouches, they followed their example, went back to their sleeping spots and got comfortable. Pichu's mother was close to the cave entrance, in a way to listen and keep an ear out for her son, just in case he needed her to come and pick him up from exhaustion.

Once Pichu arrived back at the training field that his mother made, the electric mouse immediately got started on completing the obstacle course, in hopes to make his mother proud. As well as making his declaration of protecting those he cares about come true. He needs to get strong, to be good enough to protect his family. He wants to be better so that he won't hold anyone down or hold them back or become worried about his safety. The determination in his eyes reflected in the moonlight, showing that Pichu's serious and will do whatever it takes to become the best he can ever be. The electric mouse let out some air and then hardened his expression, he went over to the starting line of where the course begins.

Pichu began his training, knowing his mother explained to him and his sister that this is mostly to help with their stamina. They would build it up to a point of not having to worry about being exhausted from doing too many tasks, or wasting energy when they really need it. Pichu got that, but he also knew that the reaction time and the enhancing of his speed is also important for this training. If he can't build up speed, how will he evade or dodge oncoming attacks? Plus, if he can't react in time to dodge said attacks, and deliver his own, how could he fight back? This training would help him with all those things in mind, along with helping him understand how to react when facing a strong opponent.

The first obstacle he needed to get by, however, is that darn tree trunk that seems to always mock him, having his tail getting caught with its branches. "Pichu…chu?" He hummed to himself and then looked behind him where his tail was and began wiggling it up and down. He then looks forward, stroking his chin as he tries figuring out exactly how to not get caught by the branches? He played out some things in his head and hummed, wondering if there are methods of evading the branch… then smiled when something came into mind. It was at least well worth a shot at attempting it. Pichu got down on all fours, sparked some electricity from his cheek sacs and then began running forward! Reaching the tree trunk, the electric mouse tries to just parkour over the trunk by grabbing the top of it and swinging his body around it, then letting go and dropping down to the ground. But he failed miserably when his entire body got entangled and trapped within the branches this time.

After freeing himself out from the branches he would try again. Next, he figures to roll across the top of the trunk to evade the branches, only now his ears would get caught alongside his underarms too. Once again, Pichu returned to the starting line to do the course all over, this time jumping on the trunk and then leaping off from the top. However, the result changed to his feet getting caught when coming down. This failure led to Pichu throwing a tantrum, thrashing his arms around and even shouting some… interesting cusses to the world, due to his built up frustration. Eventually, the electric mouse calmed down and let out a few growls of irritation, yelped when the twig snapped and had him hitting the ground hard!

Deciding to take a small break, even though he was only doing this for ten minutes, Pichu sighed with a whine and just stared towards the training field. He recalled some things the wild Pokémon said about his species when living on his own, that Pichus and Pikachus aren't strong like them, let alone great at battling or surviving. They even went as far to say how a Raichu could be better than they'd ever hoped to be or dreamed of. This, at the time, angered Pichu so much that he tried to refute those wild Pokémon, asking if they had ever seen a strong or well trained Pichu or Pikachu before? Only to be told about how creatures called 'humans' would always evolve their Pikachu's whenever they feel like the Pokémon isn't pulling their weight. Even stating how they also refuse having their Pichu's do battle, by swapping them out… whatever that means? "Pichu…chu…" Pichu sighed, lightly hanging his head down and lowered his ears, wondering if they were right? Maybe they're not the best Pokémon out there, even these 'humans' don't generally keep them around. Thinking about it was just making Pichu feel bad about himself, as he was about to curl up into a ball and figured to call it quits.

"Melo?" A new voice chimed in, asking the young Pokémon if he was alright, having Pichu covering his head into his knees shaking his head no. Whining out how he feels like the worst Pokémon to ever exist, that can't even finish this training course without constantly failing. "Mel…Etta, etta." The new voice continued speaking, alarming Pichu of the presence, causing him to literally shriek out when he felt a hand touch his shoulder. He nearly jumped out of his skin and flailed his limbs about, even causing the newcomer to shriek as well as they darted towards a tree in a flash of light!

This had Pichu quickly turning around and panicked out towards them while raising his paw, "Pichu-chu! Piii!" He shouted, quickly telling them to wait and that he is sorry for scaring them. Then heard the voice calling back, replying how she's sorry about scaring him, which scared her when he reacted like that. Pichu blinked his eyes a couple of times, then snickered slightly, before he started laughing. This had the newcomer let out their own snickers and giggles from one of the trees. "Pichu, chu?" He called out, asking them if they're alright now, as the newcomer tentatively placed their paw or hand, covered in black fur he thought, on the side of the tree and poked their head around. Pichu blushed when he saw a beautiful, white skin toned face with beautiful blue eyes, long flowing green hair, even having something close to her mouth… which he believes was a head piece.

"Meloetta!" The Pokémon cried out with a big smile on her face, saying how they're fine and began floating around the bark of the tree and approached Pichu. She giggled at how pink his face was, before blushing herself when he openly said how pretty she looks. She playfully waved her hand off, saying "You're not bad yourself, cutie!" in a teasing manner. Pichu reacted by looking away sheepishly and smirking, then turned back towards the Pokemon who tilted her head and cutely folded her hands in front of her body. "Meloetta?" She then asks if he is feeling better? Only to soften her look when Pichu's expression went from being happy to slightly depressed again, before he turned back towards the training grounds. This had the female Pokemon looking as well, recalling what he said when she… accidentally eavesdrop on him

"Pichu, chu." He confessed to the Pokémon how he's having trouble passing the easiest obstacle here, let alone constantly failing it over and over. The electric mouse even kicked a tiny pebble away and plopped himself down on the grassy ground, sighing irritably. "Chu…chu." The little Pokémon admitted how the wild Pokemon might be right. Pichu and Pikachu's probably aren't the best in the world or the strongest Pokemon. This had the newcomer humming, softly tilt her head and felt her hair flowing down and over her shoulders. She then looked back to the training field, placed her stubby hands on her chin, before looking at Pichu while smiling. The yellow looked at her confused, tilting his own head as she eye smiled and lifted one arm up, before doing a circle motion with it.

"Meloetta, etta?" The Pokémon suddenly asked Pichu if he tried doing a front flip when leaping over the large tree trunk? Pichu looked ready to answer, only to pause and then swiftly looked away in curiosity and bewilderment when she asked him that, trying to recall if he had or not? But then shook his head no, he didn't think about doing that at all. The Pokemon next to him giggled and told him to give it a try, stating it might take a few tries. Pichu hummed and faced the tree trunk, then back to her as she nodded her head with eye smiles, watching Pichu shrug as he figured what else he had to lose? He went ahead and got up onto his feet and jogged his way over to the starting line, though paused when the female Pokemon called out and told him to just try the trunk first before starting from the beginning.

Pichu chuckled sheepishly, on account it probably will be better to do that instead of wasting his energy going back and forth between the starting line and the trunk. So he does that and approaches the trunk, and begins doing what the female Pokemon suggested. Just like she said, it took a couple of minutes of trial and error to get the hang of doing flips over the tree trunk, as he would still get entangled within the branches. Blushing in embarrassment whenever he did get caught, the female Pokemon flew over and helped him break free, but not once did she show any frustration or irritation on her expression. Heck, she was even blushing herself whenever she helped him down and rubbed the top of his head, encouraging him to keep trying until he got it down pat!

The female Pokemon actually had been watching the trio earlier that day, she wasn't sure why it was but she seemed quite interested in Pichu. Even giggling whenever she watches him throw a bit of a tantrum, or being kind and playful to the other children Pokemon. She figured tonight to go and inspect the training fields, in a way to silently help the mouse Pokémon. But didn't expect him to head out in the middle of the night and resume his training. She left her musing as a couple hours had passed and began smiling brightly when Pichu's twentieth attempt, he succeeded in finally doing the flip. Not just that, but actually leaping completely over the tree trunk and landing onto his two feet. Though he nearly fell forward, he caught himself by landing on all fours.

This had both Pokémon widening their eyes, until Pichu yelped in happiness when the green blur literally rushed right towards him and scooped him up into the air! Giggles and laughter were emitting from the female Pokémon, shouting out how he did it over and over. Enjoying the way Pichu's own happiness was showing as he laughed alongside the female Pokémon. He even let out tiny electric shocks on her, earning more fits of giggles and laughter to the Pokémon! After finishing spinning and carrying him in the air, the female Pokémon came to a stop and smiled at the electric mouse and tilted her head happily. "I knew you could do it!" She told him, which Pichu happily chanted "yeah" and then turned completely red on the face when she suddenly leaned forward and kissed him on the forehead. She then hugged him close to her body, feeling even more redder by the second. It was firm yet loving, even protective too, as he felt the female Pokemon just lightly nuzzling on him. Though she quickly shot her eyes open and felt herself turning red as well. The female Pokémon teleports them back to the ground and softly places Pichu down and begins to separate herself, laughing embarrassingly while twirling a piece of her hair, apologizing to Pichu.

After getting rid of his blush, Pichu laughed and said it wasn't a problem. He then watched her covering her eyes while letting out small squeals, explaining she tends to get overly excited very easily and can't help but show her emotions completely. This had Pichu humming and just stare at her, though quickly shook his head, realizing he hadn't properly introduced himself yet! Too which the female Pokemon widened her eyes too, gasping out how rude of her to not introduce herself either! Both laugh and chuckle together, as Pichu introduces himself, then waits for the female Pokemon to do so. She happily bows and introduces herself as Meloetta: the Melody Pokemon. She then looks towards the moon and softly smiles, seeing it is getting late. She went ahead to turn back to Pichu and smiled, saying how she needed to go now.

Pichu smiled back, nodding in understanding and thanked her for all her help. Meloetta tried to say she didn't do anything, that it was all him, but felt herself heating up again and covering her cheeks when Pichu reminded her that she helped him. How she got him out of those branches, suggesting that he does a forward flip over the trunk. The electric type Pokémon couldn't help but blush, finding how cute Meloetta is whenever she covered her face, with steam blowing out from her ears. She told him to stop, that he is embarrassing her. She just earned some laughs from Pichu, who had quite the goofy smile on his face. To which Meloetta smiled sweetly towards him and closed her eyes. "If we ever meet again, I want to express myself to you. But it's too soon right now… and you probably wouldn't understand." She suddenly said, watching Pichu blink his eyes confusingly while twitching an ear.

Meloetta laughed as she was right, about him currently oblivious to her feelings. Never in her life would she ever find a Pokemon that would catch her interest, let alone become fond of them right away. "Meloetta, etta.'' Her last words were that someday Pichu will show the world what he can do and will do amazing things in the future. She hopes to meet him when the time is right and show or tell her everything he will see and experience. This made Pichu more confused and was ready to ask what she meant, only to go silent and widen his eyes when she once again approached him. But this time, she gave a small kiss on his nose and then pulled away, leaving him quite confused on what that was about. He shook his head when she suddenly teleported away, before he could ask any questions. Pichu openly stares towards the fields, hearing a wayward voice echoing in his mind.

"I can't wait to see the kind of things you will achieve Pichu… until then, I will wait."

The morning sun rose over the horizon, signaling to every living creature that it's time to wake up and start this bright new day. Pokémon scattered throughout the forest, some crawling out from their nest and rapidly shaking their bodies in order to get rid of any dirt, grass or morning dew, before running off. Some flying Pokémon soar through the skies, occasionally swooping down to look for meals and berries. While Bug Pokémon happily crawling along the trees and barks, eating some leaves. A few would even let out yelps when some Pokémon in the treetops swung by, causing them to fall down towards the ground. But they would immediately save themselves by using string shot at the branch and letting out some gasps of air.

Field Pokémon can be seen roaming about and enjoying the bright morning sky. They would be calling out to their herds or nearby Pokémon, while some would be running and skipping through the fields and meadows. In fact, all sorts of Pokémon were waking up and becoming active this fine morning. Back with the Kangaskhan herd and their cave, they too were beginning to wake up from the activity going on outside, plus the sun's rays shining into their caves. Pichu's mother was the first to wake up and stretch out her arms and legs, smacking her lips as she began walking towards the entrance of the cave. Rubbing her eyes to clear the blurriness, she began looking around the cave entrance, a little concerned and worried about her son Pichu.

The mother hummed and crossed her arms, while tapping her foot on the ground. She isn't one to worry often, even with her own child. But considering Pichu never returned, Kangaskhan started to feel concerned for Pichu's health and safety. She looked down at her pouch, feeling her daughter moving about and poked her head out. Yawning, she asked her mom where her brother could be? The Kangaskhan mother could only shake her head, as she wasn't sure either. Though she has a feeling that Pichu might still be at the training grounds. The drowsy daughter hummed lightly and nodded her head, then smiled tiredly, mentioning how her brother is quite the hard worker. The mom giggled and began heading out towards the training fields.

Once they got there, with the Kangaskhan mother maneuvering through the trees and bushes, she and her daughter arrived at the training fields. The two were quite surprised as they could hear Pichu's voice echoing out from the fields, having the mom to blink a couple of times. Thinking she was seeing things, she shook her head to clear out the rest of her sleepiness from her system. Once she looked again, the mother widened her eyes, as she couldn't believe what she was watching. Even her daughter fully woke up and began excitedly clapping her hands at what her brother was doing, or should she say, IS doing!

There was Pichu, possibly on his tenth or twelfth lap of the training ground their mother made. They witnessed him leaping and jumping, with slight staggers here and there, effortlessly going through each obstacle like it's his playing field. He even got past that dreaded tree trunk when he reached it. Both mother and daughter had their mouths wide open in awe at how Pichu leaps right to the top of the trunk, then jumps again while doing a front flip. This added more to his speed once he landed on all fours, as he then dashed once more. The electric mouse had a huge smile on his face as he continued onto the next obstacle, then the next after that. By the time he was finishing the lap, he came to a sliding stop and twitched his ears when he heard some whoas in the distance. The small Pokémon turned his head towards the right, having the biggest smile on his face.

"PICHU!" Pichu greeted his family and began laughing wildly as he rushed his way over to the two of them, then leaped into his mothers arms. The latter caught him and literally twirled him in glee, exclaiming how amazing Pichu was! She never thought he could ever complete a training ground like that at such a young age. even her daughter, who was giggling and cutely trying to reach up at Pichu, said how she wanted to congratulate him too! Pichu was just a smiling goofball, with his electricity sparking out once in a while, to even wagging his tail and nuzzling his mother and sister in joy.

After they calmed down, Pichu showed the Kangaskhan family his achievement by doing their mom's training course once more. The family then returned to the herd, telling them the good news, how Pichu managed to clear her training session! When the other members heard this, looking quite surprised at his feat, they began asking if he had truly completed her obstacle course? One that took her to becoming almost a full grown adult Kangaskhan to do? This had Pichu and his sister blinking their eyes when they heard this, then looking up at their mother. The latter proudly smiled and said, "yes, my son did complete my course, in just a day!"

This news excited all the Kangaskhan. They even began messing around, saying how they should probably start training too someday, or jokingly stating how they might get out classed by a small electric Pokemon. Pichu sheepishly chuckles and bashfully rubs the back of his head, but not letting the praise get into him. He believes there's still a lot he needs to do or get done. Completing this task is only one of many tasks he had to complete, to make him strong enough to protect his family.

Xxx

Many days have gone by, turning into weeks, and then into months. Life among the herd was good and fine, everyone traveling together, finding new places to make nesting grounds or homes. Their children started getting taller and older, including Pichu. While he hasn't evolved yet, his body began maturing and growing alongside the family. His yellow fur became much healthier and brighter, his small pink cheek sacs were beginning to turn a soft hue of red, but still having small pink coloring around the edges. His paws had also grown along with his tail gaining a couple more inches. It was definitely becoming a good lifestyle, however, and it may just be Pichu's imagination, but he began noticing something a little off with his mom.

Kangaskhan appeared to be getting tired or exhausted more frequently as of late, even when she trains alongside him and her daughter. Although she will say she's fine and tell her kids not to worry, Pichu was no fool. He knew his mother was slowing down and beginning to tire out more frequently. He even surmised that it might be him being inside her pouch along his sister- adding more weight for her. The electric mouse tried to suggest he can get out of her pouch if she wanted him too. Only for the mom to be stubborn and tell Pichu she is quite fine, pushing him back down into her pouch. This wasn't the first time either, Pichu also noticed that she wasn't getting much food, whenever they were harvesting berries and nuts for the herd.

Pichu tried offering her some of his berries to eat, but once again, he's told not to worry about her, that her children need all the food they can get. Pichu would huff lightly and look down at the ground, silently eating his food. Thoughts began swirling into his mind on how he can make sure his mom was eating healthy as well, to not strain herself? He pondered, more and more as minutes passed, not getting any ideas to pop in his head. It was clear that Kangaskhan can't handle two children at once, let alone carrying two that are growing too. Heck, Pichu realized that once he evolves into Pikachu someday, he will probably become more of a burden and be forced to eat more berries than she will. It might end up with her starving herself if this kept up…

Pichu separated himself from the herd in order to think in privacy, away from the herds and children. He rested up against a tree bark, just lightly tapping and wagging his tail up and down against the ground. The electric mouse hummed out and squinted his eyes in thought, thinking of ways to let his stubborn mom know that he will be alright. That he can be outside of her pouch, or even offer to have less berries so that she can eat her fair share. Pichu didn't want to see his mom struggle like this, let alone push herself beyond her limit and starve too! "Pii…" he whined out while scratching his chin softly. The only other option that could come to mind… is that he leaves the herd.

This plan would be a last resort, but it's also an option that has been buzzing inside his head. If he doesn't get his mother to change her ways and allow her children to become more independent… there won't be a mom to care for his sister. "Chu, chu!" He shouted a couple of times and grabbed the top of his head. Shaking back and forth, he wondered what the correct answer was, to make sure his mom will be safe?! He leaned against the tree bark and growled irritably at himself, then opened his eyes halfway, staring silently towards the skies and above the bushes of the trees. Sadly, he couldn't think of any other way to get his mother to stop being stubborn.

Pichu looked down at his paws and began flexing his fingers. The little guy has been feeling weird lately, but also stronger than when he first ran into the family. It was a strange sensation, building up inside of him with what feels like new found energy too. "Pii.." Pichu sighed and knew what that meant… he always dreamed of evolving into Pikachu, but he never thought it would be this soon? But he can't ignore the facts: his Thundershock, that was once blue and weak, is now strong yellow electric bolts. His speed has gotten much faster and his stamina is quite incredible compared to an average Pichu. It all points to one thing and that is Pichu is almost ready to evolve into Pikachu. If he does… he would have to make the hardest decision in his life. Breaking the hearts of his friends and family: his sister's and his mother's.

"Pichu," Pichu hardened his gaze and shook his head. "Chu," the yellow mouse told himself he has to do it, him staying with the herd is causing problems for his mother. He is growing faster than his sister and is becoming more of a hindrance for his family. Having to eat more than his mother, or at least she was not able to eat more than her kids. Especially now that he's training and has been improving himself from his mother's training methods. It's just making his evolution process much faster and growing from all the experience he was getting from that.

He couldn't help but sniff lightly and quickly wipe his paw over his eyes, feeling teary eyed. Pichu had made his final decision. He would leave the herd and allow his mom and sister to live a much more comfortable life without him… It's the right thing to do after all. But the question is, can he really go through it? He feels a hole in his gut, telling him how it will hurt his family more if he leaves than staying with him. But his heart, his heart is telling him this is the right thing to do. "Pichu…" he sighed and lowered both his tail and ears, just enjoying the soft breeze blowing through the thick forest and branches above. As the leaves and branches ruffled from the wind, some of the nuts fell down. To which one of the nuts bonked him on the head, having Pichu to squeak lightly and winced one eye closed, rubbed his head, then looked down towards the nut.

"Pi…chu?" Pichu suddenly muttered, noticing how familiar the nut looks. Though before he could reach for it to examine it, his ears immediately tilted upwards and whipped his head towards the outside of the forest! He heard what sounded like explosions and screeches echoing out! "PICHU!" He shouted for his mom and immediately began rushing out of the woods and back towards the herd. Sounds of a battle was breaking through the forest to his ears. He even saw some clouds of dust and explosions erupting out in the fields where his family was at! "Pichu, Pichu, Pichu!" The electric mouse hoped everyone was safe, repeatedly telling himself "Please be okay" in his head. He closed his eyes and then hardened them, sparking electricity from his cheek sacs, ready to defend and protect everyone he cared for!

By the time Pichu made it back to his herd, the little mouse Pokémon came to a sliding stop and squeaked out in fright at the sight before him! It was a Primeape, going on a rampage and attacking his family! The crazy, fully evolved Pokémon was thrashing about and stomping around, breaking and smashing all the gathered food and nuts the herd had gathered. Who he was fighting was what got Pichu worried the most. It was his mother! Kangaskhan is going head to head with the fighting type Pokémon, knowing full well she is weak to his typing.

But there she was, using Dizzy and Mega punch to go blow for blow with the rampaging Pig-monkey Pokémon. Their colliding hits caused them to slide back, pushing away from each other. Primeape would quickly dig his heels into the ground and dash forward, landing a scratch attack across his mother's face. She slid back, appearing to be in slight pain, but quickly wiped her cheek and quickly retaliated with a powerful Mega punch to the fighting Pokémon! He was sent flying into the air, but managed to get back onto his feet with a backflip. He then began throwing a temper, with an angry tick on his head as he stomped on the ground.

Pichu managed to get closer to view the battle, while hiding himself within one of the boulders nearby. He then let out a low gasp as he figured out what was bugging him. It turns out, the Primeape looked familiar… It was the Mankey he angered and was chased by earlier this year when he ate food from his territory! Pichu then flinched, wincing with his eyes closed, as his mother and Primeape went at it again. Loud booms echoed throughout the forest as Kanghaskan threw a Dizzy Punch at Primeape, smacking him right in his face. Primeape returned the favor by doing a Low Sweep right into her stomach, creating another booming sound to happen. Kanghaskan quickly fires off a Hyper Beam, as energy gathers in her mouth and fires off the powerful beam of energy!

The attack grinded and broke up the ground as she tried guiding it towards the Primeape! But the fighting Pokémon easily dodges out of the way, leaps into the air, then uses the whiplash from the explosion to increase his speed! While Primeape flips forward, he gathers energy into his right hand, forming a Karate chop attack! It got blocked by the mother raising her arm to defend herself, but winces from the pain after earning a slight bruise on her arm. Kangaskhan then yelped when Primeape grabbed a hold of her arm, quickly used it as leverage and slammed both of his feet hard into her chest! After performing his attack, the Pig-monkey kick flipped off from her and landed onto the ground. The aggressive Pokémon cockily laughed as the mother staggered backwards and coughed out harshly from losing a lot of air, looking to be getting weaker and exhausted.

The herd called out to the mother, telling her it's not worth the risk! She is practically throwing her life away if she doesn't concede defeat and let Primeape take their food! The mother started to shakingly stand up, struggling to keep her balance as she had bruises and dirt covering her body. It was obvious to all that she was slowly about to faint from how much damage she was taking. Pichu watched on with worry, as he kept clawing and scratching against the boulder he was hiding behind, biting his lips as his tail twitched angrily at the sight.

"MAMA, MAMA, MAMA!" Pichu's sister's voice cried out, as she just blindly began running out into the fields. Both Pichu and their mother widened their eyes in shock and nearly screamed out to her not to go out or come to her. Their reaction caused the Primeape to hum and turn his body sideways, to see what got them so riled up. He saw the little baby running towards him with flailing arms and tears falling out of her eyes, constantly shouting to leave her Mama alone! This had Primeape's eyes to glint, making both Kangaskhan and Pichu expressions turn into fear and let out frightful yells when Primeape ran towards the baby Kangaskhan!

Their worst fear came to life as the fighting Pokémon grabbed her by the neck and lifted her off the ground. Pichu's sister screamed out in horror and wailed even harder, as she was tossed around like a rag doll. The malicious Pokémon then thrusted his arm towards the mother with a sickening grin on his face. "If you value this baby's life, you will stand down and take your punishment like a good mother. Unless, you want me to harm her right here and now?" Primeape cackled, as he moved his hand close to the daughter, who bulged her eyes and began screaming more in terror! She called out for both her mother and even Pichu to save her! Her pleas made Pichu's eyes widen and go hazy after he heard his sister's voice, crying out and echoing in his head.

Everything seemed to darken with time beginning to slow down. Pichu felt his heart rate pumping and skipping beats. His chest felt like it was on fire, burning with rage and anger, but also the drive to save not only his sister, but his mother and all of the Kangaskhan. His body felt as if it was pulsating and responding to his heart beat, the fur on his back stood up and his tail stayed stock still, as it began glowing blue and returned to black. "MAMA, Pichu, Mama, Pichu, someone please save me!" His sister's voice came inside his head, looking as if she was in slow motion. The same went for everyone crying and yelling, but one that stood out the most was Primeape's laughter echoing in his head, mocking and scolding his family, his herd, his mother and him!

Primeape continued laughing in smug pride as he saw the mother unable to do anything, appearing to be ready to accept her punishment. "You know what, I think I will take my frustration out on her after all." He growled out, causing the sister's cries to intensify while the mother screamed out towards the Pokemon to stop. They all watched helplessly as the Primeape raised his free arm into the air, gathering energy into his hand. The baby covered her eyes and trembled, terrified from what might happen! But as soon as Primeape was about to strike, a sudden blue glowing blur shot straight into his back, causing him to throw the baby Kangaskhan forward. She let out a small yelp, then landed onto her belly and slid across the ground. After quickly getting up, she then ran towards her mother!

The mother Kanghaskan quickly scooped her child up, immediately began smothering her in affection and checking over her body for any injuries. Both turned their attention to where Primeape was and widened their eyes. They saw what looked to be a Pokemon evolving before them after striking Primeapes back. The surprise attack had enough force to have the fighting type stumble forward and nearly trip over his feet, before quickly stomping his right foot down, and he turned around. "WHO'S THE IDIOT THAT INTERRUPTED MY FIGHT?!" He screamed, before his eyes widened in slight surprise as he watched what transpired in front of him.

There stood a Pokémon, one that Primeape feels like he recalled seeing before, evolving before him. Standing at the height of either 3 or 4ft tall, with tail growing and extending outwards curving into the shape of a lightning bolt. Adorned with yellow and reddish-brown fur at the tailbone, three similar color striped fur is on the Pokémon's back. Bright red looking cheeks sparked electricity, with ears extending out further with black tips at the end. A petit, yet strong and healthy looking body, having semi-athletic build to the Pokémon's features. Once the energy dispersed, it revealed itself to be a Pikachu! Who's amber eyes opened and then hardened threateningly towards Primeape, while baring his fangs!

"B…Brother?" The baby Kanghaskan slowly asked, causing her mom to look down at her and then towards Pikachu. The mother gasped when she took notice of the spiky ear tips and the small black fur tip at the end of his tail. It was a unique trait Pichu had when they found and saved him from a Mankey. Now he stands before the Primeape as a Pikachu, a very healthy looking Pikachu at that, having a powerful yet caring presence about him. "It's big brother! It's really him!" The daughter exclaimed while throwing her arms up in excitement, slightly worried, but glad to see that her brother had saved her. "I knew Big Brother would save me!"

Primeape's anger is hitting boiling point as he stares at the baby Pokemon, then back towards the Pikachu in front of him. The latter kept discharging his electricity and looked to be dead serious of fighting him. "Big brother eh… I had a feeling you smelled familiar." Primeape argued out and began laughing. "Well 'big brother,' I've been waiting months to get my revenge on you, after you invaded my territory and electrocuted me back then." The fighting Pokémon cackles and begins cracking his knuckles, as Pikachu lowers his eyes even more, while he poises himself for a battle. "And no one, not even your mother will be able to save you."

"We'll see about that. I'll make sure you never hurt or bother anyone ever again!" Pikachu shouted while discharging a lot of electricity from his body, calming himself down still baring his fangs. The tension in the air is thick, the forest completely void of sounds. Other Pokémon don't dare to speak or make a sound in fear of what is about to happen. It might turn these battle-ready Pokémon to turn their attention to them. This also had the herd silent, feeling sweat building up around their foreheads for how intense everything felt. Even Pikachu's sister and mother were afraid to speak, let alone interfere. Despite how much Kangaskhan wanted to go and protect her son, how rigid his body looked and how tense up his tail is, something tells her she'll do more harm than good.

We woooon't back down~

The two Pokemon continued staring down each other as Primeape's breaths were rough and hard, while Pikachu's were calm but tense. Their eyes meet and wait for one of them to start making a move.

We woooon't!~

Primeape is the first to go into action as he lets out a powerful screech and rushes towards Pikachu! He readied a Karate chop towards the electric mouse's head, but the latter quickly ducks down from the sideway chop. He then elbow tackles Primeape in the stomach, and then quickly swings his tail across his face, causing the Pig monkey to stagger back. The fighting type retaliates by throwing a Mega punch at Pikachu, who quickly jumps back, and then once more when Primeape tries another Mega punch. The aggressive Pokémon then tries doing a low sweep towards Pikachu's feet, which he dodges by leaping into the air. Pikachu quickly fires off a quick Thunder shock at Primeape, who anticipated it and rolls out of the way from the attack!

I'm here to go beyond my limit, not to compromise!~

And tell me if I mean it, lookin' in my eyes!~

Pikachu yelped when Primeape quickly got back to his feet and scratched at Pikachu's back! The attack sent him forward, but there was not enough force or power behind the move, as the electric type Pokemon rolled with the momentum. He quickly then hand flips and bounced onto his feet, before firing another Thunder shock towards Primeape. It wasn't at full power though, just a quick one to deal minor damage as the small bolt of lightning struck. This causes Primeape to jolt back and hiss, but he quickly recovers and chases Pikachu with both fists in the air!

Cause I've been waiting for my moment to strike!~

So come close, Let me show you what it's like!~

Yeah~ you can try to stand in my path, but your going to regret it!~

The fists come crashing down to where Pikachu is standing as Primeape tries to overpower him. But misses when Pikachu side-jumps to the right, watching the ground crack from the impact. The mouse quickly backflips from Primeape, who haphazardly tries swinging his left fist at Pikachu. The electric type returns the favor, after landing on all fours, by headbutting him in the stomach, pushing Primeape back. He then follows up by standing on two legs and quickly punches Primate across his face to the left, then right side. Pikachu then quickly steps back when Primeape tries to retaliate.

The fighting type threw an upward punch, then a downward one soon after, barely nicking Pikachu's left cheek. It threw Pikachu a little off balance, but he then yelped in pain when Primeape managed to land a Mega punch into his stomach - luckily not at full strength - but still managed to lift Pikachu off the ground for a brief moment. He then yelps again when Primeape twirled forward and slashes with his scratch attack at Pikachu's face. The electric mouse is sent into the ground and rolling away, but immediately catches himself onto all fours once more. The yellow mouse discharges electricity towards Primeape, who began yelling and flailing about when the Thunder shock landed!

I'll be the one who will laugh last, while we're making my exit!~

Cause this is only for the strong of heart, not if you get it!~

And no matter what the outcome, you better accept it!~

Once the Thundershock ceased, leaving Primeape to have steam come off from him, the fighting type roared and charged straight towards Pikachu with blinding rage. Pikachu hardens his look, making sure to focus heavily on the Pokémon. He saw it throw a Mega punch down towards him, and quickly used all four of his limbs to jump to the left, dodging it. He then did a handstand and used the momentum to throw himself away again, dodging another Mega punch. The electric type Pokémon leaps into the air after Primeape tried to Karate chop him, having the Pig monkey widen his eyes when Pikachu quickly threw his feet down on top of his fist, pinning him to the ground. He gave a mischievous smile towards Primeape, who forms a tick mark and tries swinging his free arm at Pikachu from the back. But he just back flips from the attack, causing Primeape to hit himself in the face.

Pikachu then rammed him in the gut with a shoulder tackle, then slaps his face by swinging his tail. He made sure his electricity was coursing through it, adding more damage, resulting in Primeape flailing and stumbling away from Pikachu.

I can cut through steel!~

Not wanting to risk giving Primeape any breathing room, Pikachu quickly fires off another quick Thundershock at the Pokémon! The latter screamed and stood in place for a brief second, then yelled in pain again when Pikachu ran forward, jumped into the air before divekicking the monkey Pokémon. This pushed him back by a good few feet, while Pikachu quickly flipped back onto the ground!

I can bury the blade, so go down for a second~

Just get out of my way!~

The herd, his mother and sister were in awe at the sight before them. Some of the baby Pokémon and children of the other Kangaskhan began cheering and rooting for Pikachu. Saying things like "show him what he is made of," or "teach him what happens when you mess with family." While some of them use colorful phrases like bite or kick him between the legs and any other body parts that can give Pikachu an edge. Kangaskhan just stared as she watched her son, after flipping back to the ground, began weaving and bobbing between each attack Primeape was trying to deliver, with some landing or missing.

Staying still, I'm not letting it go~

So take this as a lesson and get outta my way! CAUSE IT'S ALL THAT WE KNOW!~

Will the whole world know your naaaaame~

When we dance with Destiny~

Pikachu, after sliding backwards and causing a bit of dust to rise up, quickly ran to the right when Primeape leapt into the air and came crashing down with Brick break, crashing into and cracking the ground. A dust cloud formed, preventing Pikachu from seeing the Pokémon, but he managed to duck from the next attack when the clouds puffed forward and dispersed. An open hole revealed Primeape bursting through and trying to deliver a Mega punch towards Pikachu's head!

I've been there~

And I've seen it~

Pikachu kickflips off of Primeape's body, causing the heavy pig monkey to rise into the air. The electric mouse then quickly hands stands and begins delivering a spinning handstand kick towards Primeape. Each hit was charged with electricity when a kick successfully landed, hurting the pig monkey even more. Pikachu then jumps out from his hand stand and spreads his arms and legs apart, firing off another Thunder shock towards the monkey Pokemon. The latter manages to recover in time and quickly spins in midair, throwing his body towards the left side, evading the Thunder shock.

And I am not going to stop believing~

You'll find your flaaaame, yeeeeah~

Oh, we can save the day~

THE DAY!~

We won't back down, We won't~

Both mother and daughter were just in awe as Pikachu, their son and brother respectively, is practically evenly matched with the Primeape, keeping up with him. Not only that, but the yellow mouse is also able to take the hits from the aggressive Pokémon too. Normally, when a Primeape strikes and attacks a Pokemon with full strength, the opponent goes down with one single hit. Their species will hunt down their targets till their rage cools down or beat their opponent to a pulp. But Pikachu is using that rage towards his advantage, having Kangaskhan ponder… where did he even learn that? In fact, WHEN did he get so smart that he is using rage as his leverage for fighting?

"Mama… will Pikachu be alright?" Her daughter asked while tugging lightly onto her chest, staring curiously and also having concern for her big brother's safety. The mom stared down at her, then back to her son who shielded himself from another attack Primeape delivered. But she could see it caused Pikachu to wince and nearly get lifted off his feet from the blow, but not enough to cause him to flinch or be forced to fall onto his back. In fact, he took that chance to fire off his Thundershock attack while being flown up.

"I… I'm not sure, but all we can do is believe in him." the mother responded back and just continued watching the battle, praying to Arceus that her son comes out of this alive!

It's like I am seeing double vision, take a seat, I am on a mission!~

We got everything to gain~

When Pikachu lands, the electric mouse immediately darts to the right and gains some distance from the raging Primeape. However, despite all the training he has done after training like crazy, he is still a freshly evolved Pokemon. His energy and stamina wouldn't be refilled instantly, let alone regain all his strength just like that; that's not how the world works. He can feel sweat beginning to build up around his forehead, exhaustion slowly taking its place and toll. His mind racing, his heart pounding as he tries to calm himself down and collect his thoughts. But before he could even get a chance to breathe, Primeape appeared from nowhere and landed a powerful Karate chop right into his ribs! Pikachu is sent flying with a loud boom, soaring through the air and smashing into a tree! He then gasps out loudly when Primeape manages to gain distance and delivers a Brick break to his stomach, forcing Pikachu to burst through the tree and snapping it into two, then begins tumbling and bouncing wildly into the open fields!

To become everything you're not, you just give everything you got and take the pleasure with the Pain!~

Yeah~ I feel my fire awaken!~

Pikachu manages to recover and dodge another blow from Primeape by slamming his tail down into the ground during his tumble, and flies into the air! He watched as the very ground he was on cracked and literally broke apart as well, having earth spikes flying upwards when Primeape slammed both fists down! The yellow Pokémon then began rapidly spinning in the air and smacking his tail towards the pebbles that flew with him and pelted Primeape with three to four rocks towards his face and eyes!

No time for being complacent~!

There's a dream on the Horizon, you know we gotta chase it~!

And when we get to where we're going, then we start the invasion~!

However, the plan backfired as Primeape, after managing to push through the onslaught, grabs Pikachu's tail and slams him down into the ground. He does it again by throwing Pikachu over his head and slams him onto the ground on his right. Finally he throws Pikachu out into the open fields, watching the electric mouse cough and hack out harsh breaths, looking to be in quite serious pain and the injuries he's receiving were looking worse for wear. Bruises and dirt seemed to have covered his entire body, but the same could be said for Primeape, as Pikachu struggled to get back onto his feet. Panting and breathing heavily, his electricity sparking weakly while there were even some cuts here and there on his body.

Best me? NO, you must be mistaken!~

Despite that, Pikachu smiled and got into his fighting pose once more and flexed his fingers at Primeape, egging the fighting type to charge at him. The taunt worked as Primeape turned completely red and began stomping his foot before charging towards Pikachu blindly. The electric mouse grinned even wider, and he quickly raised both hands forward to shield and grab onto any punches primeape would deliver!

You know I'll turn you into rust!~

That's exactly what Primeape was going to do as he threw a Mega punch to Pikachu! The latter winces, but holds his ground as he stubbornly lets his open palms take the hits while getting pushed back, resisting the pain his arms were going through.

And grind you down to dust~

Pikachu hisses as another attack is delivered, causing him to retract his hands from the pain but quickly throw them back forward. He blocked another Mega punch that went into his palms, forcing Pikachu to keep sliding backwards and closer towards a nearby boulder.

You thought you were the best, but you never met us~!

The mother watched in confusion at what Pikachu is trying to accomplish? He kept standing still in that stance, using his palms to block and take the hits as if… as if he has something planned? The mother's mind races, going through her thoughts of why her son is purposely taking the hits, or at least blocking them, even if it's harming him?

Spitting Fire and Rain, call me the hurricane~!

I'm not letting it go, CAUSE IT'S ALL THAT I KNOW!~

Will the whole world know your naaaame~!

When we dance with Destiny~!

Pikachu then shouts in pain, no longer able to take it anymore, and lets his guard down and gets punched in the face hard! He's sent right towards the boulder behind him, then slowly slides down against it. He breathes and pants heavily, while having one eye open to stare towards the cackling yet equally tired Primeape, who looked like he had won the prize!

I've been there and I've seen it, and I am never gonna stop believing~!

You'll find your flaaaame, yeeeeah!~

Pikachu smirks and begins laughing weakly at first and then it gets louder as Primeape begins approaching him. This had the Pig monkey raise a confused eyebrow, not understanding whyPikachu is laughing. However, he too laughs along with him, believing the rodent has finally admitted defeat. "So you finally understand your situation, don't ya?" Primeape cackled as he kept stomping closer and closer towards Pikachu, who just continued laughing at his opponent. "Wow, I must have hit you so hard that you lost it. Now you're laughing at the very end of your life, knowing you are about to die!"

"Nah, that isn't the case." Pikachu responded while slowly getting back up on his feet, using the rock as leverage to support him.

Now here we go, it's the end of the show~!

Pikachu can hear the herd and his family calling out to him. Telling him to get out of there, to run away; how it isn't worth it he's already proven himself! But their words went deaf to Pikachu as he gently brushed an arm over his lips, snickering when Primeape got more and more furious. "I'm just laughing at how dumb and stupid you truly are." Pikachu cockily said, eyes noticing light sparks beginning to show around Primeape's body as his plan worked flawlessly.

Hear them? They're calling your naaaame~!

Cause in the end, it's YOU and your FRIENDS~!

"Excuse me!?" Primeape demanded an answer as he began picking up speed, starting to charge up another Mega punch in both fists. However, he was unaware the sparks were beginning to spread out more around his body. He was distracted by seeing Pikachu laugh and lightly wobble in place when he fully stood up, holding onto his left arm and hunching over ever so slightly, while wagging his tail. "You want to repeat that punk?"

You'll find your flaaaame, yeeeah~!

Pikachu smirked and stood up proudly while having his chest out and shouts. "YOU ARE A MORON AND I WON THIS BATTLE!" He declared, watching Primeape's face contort and twitch, even scrunch up before letting out a very loud screech of anger and began running at Pikachu! The electric Pokémon heard his entire family screaming out at him, as he began sparking his electricity. He then let out a 'humph' when Primeape, who was mere inches from hitting Pikachu with a powerful Mega punch, suddenly froze in place! This made the monkey Pokémon widen his eyes and feel his body going numb!

Now here we go, it's the end of the show~

Hear them? They're calling your naaaame~

Primeape was confused of what's happening as he tried everything to get his body to move or even respond to his actions. But it wouldn't budge, nor even flinch as he stares forward and sees Pikachu grinning, as his face leans close and says, "Did you ever think about why I purposely was taking the hits at the end there?" He asked Primeape, to which he blinked his eyes and began racking his brain at that notion. Now that he mentions it, it did seem odd why he would suddenly stop attacking and take those hits, only to then feel his entire body going purple and pale as he gulped.

Cause in the end, it's YOU and your FRIENDS~!

"So, from the expression on your face, you realized that I used an ability we Pikachu have: 'static.' That means, when a Pokémon uses a physical attack on me, they become paralyzed." As he explained, Pikachu gets right into Primeape's face, nose to nose as his electricity continues to spark more and more. He observed Primeape chuckle very nervously and completely give an audible gulp as Pikachu finishes saying, "That's why I let you attack me, so I could get you to stop moving. SO."

The yellow mouse gently grabs onto the sides of Primeape's body with both hands, watching the monkey freaking out and gives a very distressed eye smile. "What does Pikachu say when they use Thundershock?" He asks his opponent one final question

Primeape whines and gulps, before stuttering, "Pika-pika-pika, Pikachu? Heh?" The monkey nervously smiles at the end, which had Pikachu grin as well.

"Right!" The next thing they all heard was Pikachu giving out a battle cry, with large amounts of electricity bursting everywhere, followed up by an explosion. This caused Primeape to be flung into the air, disappearing into the blue skies in a sparkling star!

You'll find your flame~

Xxx

Later that night, after the incredible battle Pikachu had gone through in front of the Kangaskhan, they all rushed towards the young Pokémon who began teetering before falling backwards. Only to be caught by his mother and get scooped up, to then being tossed into the air, before getting caught once more and pulled close into a tight hug. He laughed with his mother, who was tending to him and lightly licking away the injuries he had suffered, to then place the young Pikachu down. The yellow mouse let out a yelp when his sister and other baby Kanghaskan ran to him and dogpiled him to the ground.

The kids rapidly ask him questions about where he came from, or how he evolved before they could, to even asking how he got so powerful. They were out right bombarding him one after another with non-stop questions! Even his sister, who is heavily latched onto him and looked teary eyed, nuzzled and hugged him closely while digging her claw tightly against him. She whimpered out how she was so scared for him, how she didn't know if he would come out of there alive or not. Even removing her face from his chest and staring up at him with bubbly eyes, then squeaking happily when Pikachu, who looked back with his amber eyes, softly places a hand on top of her head and rubs it. He let her know he wouldn't lose to someone like that and knew he would come out on top, saying how he knew he had to save everyone and protect his family, especially his sister. This made the young girl sniffle and turn a bit red, before squealing in delight and pushing more into Pikachu, as she felt him hugging and rubbing her back in comfort.

The mother let out a couple breaths of relief and smiled down at the two, then opened her eyes half way, staring down at the evolved Pokemon. She placed her hands onto her hips and wondered exactly where he got so strong all the sudden? She knew her training method wouldn't have given him that huge boost in experience or strength. Let alone give him the stamina to even fight against Primeape right as he evolved too… So what or where did he get that strength from? "Did something happen a week ago, that he has become this powerful?… What in the name of Arceus does it have in store for Pikachu?" One thing's for sure, whatever life Arceus has planned for her son… she hopes it will be a safe one and filled with adventures.

Though what's about to come next is something that will break their hearts. After everything had calmed down, everyone got back home to their den to eat, drink, bathe after their meals and relax. Everyone was fast asleep, except for one… Pikachu, who is resting near his mother and sister, opens his eyes slowly and then blinks them open. His ears lightly twitch to hear if anyone is still awake or half asleep still? After making sure, he then began getting up onto his two feet, holding his hand against the cave walls and silently sidle his way out from his sister's arms. He used his tail to lower her gently to the floor, then slid it out from underneath her after gently placing her head on the haystack

Pikachu begins frowning slightly as he looks to his sister and then turns his head ever lightly towards his mother. Memories flashing through him of how much the two of them cared for him, as well as brought him back to health and accepted him into their herd. The fun times he had with his adopted brothers and sisters, learning how to properly eat from the Kangaskhan, and learning much about their lifestyle, despite how different he was compared to them. Tears began forming around the corner of his eyes, as he quickly moved a paw over to his eyes and quickly wiped them away, unaware a stray tear flew off from him and landed against his mothers face. Her face contorted slightly, until she slowly opened her eyes halfway and, with blurry vision, saw what appeared to be her son.

The young Pikachu began silently on his way out of the den and towards the exit, looking to be in quite a hurry. Which had the mother opening her eyes completely and raising herself off the ground. Right as Pikachu made it to the exit of the cave, he came to a sliding stop when he heard a voice. "Pikachu?" Hearing his name called from behind, in a soft and caring, yet disappointed tone, caused Pikachu to shut his eyes and open them up, while turning completely around and saw who it was that calle. It was his mom, standing at the end of the cave, looking up to him in silence, as well as seeming to be tearing up. Pikachu does the same staring back at her, until he looks away slightly in guilt. After a few seconds passed, he faced back to her, ready to say something but saw the mom smiling weakly with tears flowing through her eyes.

She closes them once more and then opens them back up, doing her best to keep her emotions in check and not break down in front of her son. No doubt her son is in the same boat as her, as she watches him shake and tremble, flexing his fingers battling what could be an inside turmoil battle of wanting to leave or not. The mother knew someday that he would probably leave her and the herd. He's been showing many signs of worrying about her health and safety. Especially during her stubbornness of not letting him leave her pouch, or refusing to take his share of the food. The signs were there and she ignored them, ignoring his feelings as her maternal side didn't want her children to not eat or get fed by giving their food towards her. The two locked eyes once more, as if silently speaking to one another, then Pikachu's tears finally broke through and began hiccuping with a smile.

Kangaskhan smiled back with her own tears and hiccups. She then gives a thumbs up to Pikachu, which causes the latter to breathe deeply, nodding his head rapidly and giving a thumbs up back to her, then waving goodbye to her and darts off!

Goodbyes are always hard, and sometimes even struggle to say it to those who are close, who are dear to you and are your loved ones and family. The young Pikachu and Kangaskhan mother understands that there are times where words don't need to be said. Sometimes one doesn't speak to tell someone how much you care or love them. Actions and body language can also show how much you care for others, even silently looking them into their eyes, where their most hidden feelings can be expressed. Friends and family may come and go, even loved ones, but there's a lesson to be taken from this, like Pikachu did. The love they share, through the good and bad times experienced with one another, will never be forgotten but treasured. Use these experiences to forge a brighter future and a better path.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu cried out while running through the fields and forests, entering into the open world with bright eyes and a big heart! He wanted to see the world and what kind of new friends he could make. But then the electric mouse felt something hit his back and got sucked inside of something… a red and white object fell to the ground and began shaking once… twice… three times, before the glowing red dot stopped and let out a ding. Followed by a shadow of a person looming over the Pokeball and having a joyous tone.

"My, I never thought a Pikachu would be out here! What a wonderful catch, heh. Daisy will be excited to see you, my friend." A slightly old man's voice spoke as he bent down and picked up the Pokeball. He wore a lab coat over top, a slightly darkish-red shirt and tan like jeans. His slightly gray and brown hair blew within the winds. Smiling down at the Pokeball, with Pikachu staring up to the person who threw this ball at him and pushing his paws against the device. "Don't worry, you'll be safe now. We'll make sure to care for you and bring you to a healthy status in no time." Professor Samuel Oak, one of the top researchers and professors of Pokemon in the Kanto region, told the now captured Pokémon.

Goodbyes also bring new hellos, as the Electric type is soon about to embark on an incredible journey and make friendships. Not only with Pokémon, but also a trainer who will become close friends with him and those traveling with them. The journey of Pikachu, and what he sees, are just beginning!
