Bell dodged a punch from Argana. He crouched down and uppercutted her in the stomach. He slightly lifted her up in the air before blocking a kick from Bache.
He jumped back and avoided Pyrhe's axe before Roundhouse kicking her in the face. The force of his kick was so hard that he knocked out one of her teeth.
He dodged a flurry of Bache's punches before standing still, watching as her fist got closer to his face.
Only for him to catch it, catching her off guard.
He yanked her forward and clotheslined her with his other arm. Bache's body flipped, and she landed on her back with the wind knocked out of her.
Bell quickly spun on his heel and used black flash on the axe of an enraged Phyrne. Her axe shattered, and tiny pieces of her axe fell around Bache.
Had Bell dodged and not broken the axe, Phyrne would've killed the weakened Bache.
.
.
"Now that's just bad showmanship. Killing your ally really," Bell scoffed.
"You ruined my beautiful face, you fucking rabbit?!!" Phyrne roared.
"You are the exact opposite of beautiful toad," Bell replied.
Phyrne let out a scream and charged at Bell. Her heavy footsteps caused the ground to shake. She brought down her massive hands in an attempt to crush Bell.
Only for Bell's fist to already be implanted into her gut. Phyrne hunched forward, and Bell punched her in the face.
A flurry of punches then met Phyrne as Bell's fist met her face and stomach over and over again. Her face was starting to become swollen.
Bell's punches were fast, yet had the strength of a thousand Minotaurs. Phyrne could feel most of the bones in her body start to break.
Bell then used black flash to send her flying back, and her massive body slammed into a wall, causing her to make an indent.
"And then there were five," Bell said as Bache got to her feet.
She looked at Bell in confusion. Why didn't he let Phyrne kill her?
She didn't have time to think as Bell grabbed an Amazon's arm and threw her forward onto his knee. She hunched forward, and he grabbed her head, slamming it on the wall multiple times, causing her to pass out.
.
.
"That's two."
Argana looked at Bell and started panting. A deranged smile was on her face as she could feel her warrior's blood pumping in her veins and her heart beating fast.
It was yelling at her to fight him.
She charged at lightning speeds, reeling her fist back and aiming for Bell's face. Bell merely smirked at that, which made her heart beat even faster.
Bell dodged under her punch and grabbed her by the waist, picking her up and slamming her into the wall.
Argana let out a scream of pain, but she felt herself wanting more. The fight was turning her into a battle-crazed maniac.
"Yes, more. Give me more!" Argana yelled as she pushed herself up.
Bell was already dodging jabs and kicks from the other three amazons. He dodged so effortlessly that they were starting to think Bell was a higher than level people thought.
Bell grabbed an Amazon's arm and pulled her toward him. His elbow slammed against her nose, causing tears to well up in her eyes.
Drops of blood started spilling out as Bell kneed her in the gut before choke slamming the girl. Bell then raised his foot and curb-stomped her, knocking her out.
"That's three," Bell calmly stated.
The remaining three amazons looked at Bell, who hadn't even broken a sweat. They hadn't even landed a single hit on him.
Argana was starting to get even more excited. Bache still remained quiet as Bell's earlier actions still confused her.
Bache and another Amazon were in front of Bell while Argana was behind him. The fight had only been going on for a few minutes, and Bell had already taken down half their numbers.
The three exchanged a look, and a battle plan was formed. The three charged him all at once. Argana and Bache had their fists reared back while the other Amazon brought her knife down.
Bell moved quickly and grabbed the amazons hand with the knife. He pushed her elbow upwards and disarmed her.
He caught the knife as it was falling and stabbed her in the leg before kicking her away. The Amazon slid across the ground, and she yelled out in pain.
She pulled herself back and leaned her back against the wall before ripping off a piece of her shirt and tourniqueting her leg.
"Four"
Argana and Bache were the last two amazons remaining. Bache was still weary of Bell and didn't really want to fight him as he saved her life not even five minutes ago.
Argana, on the other hand, wanted to fight Bell more than anything. He was a strong man, and she could feel her Amazon instincts flaring up inside her.
The sisters stood side by side, ready to fight the white-haired boy in front of them. Bell just simply stared at the two, a smug smile on his face.
"Well, come on. You waiting for an invitation?"
Argana charged forward while Bache held back. Argana noticed this but decided to yell at her sister later when this fight was over.
Argana jumped up and aimed an axe kick at Bell's head. Bell caught her foot and slammed her back on the ground.
Argana bounced before Bell tossed her away like trash. Argana quickly got to her feet with a deranged smile on her face.
She was looking Bell dead in his eyes with a look of pure desire. She began letting out deranged laughter as she spoke.
"Yes, yes, I've finally found you." She raised her finger and pointed at Bell, who looked at her in confusion. "I've finally found the man who will give me strong children."
Bell knew of Amazonian culture and knew she was going to hunt him down to the ends of the earth. All to have his children. So he decided to give her a little challenge.
"Land a hit on me, and we'll see what happens" Bell wore a cocky smile. He could also feel his blood pumping, fighting the Amazon.
He could be a battle manic himself as it's the only time he can really let loose and be himself. No other distractions but the fight itself.
Argana cackled and ran at Bell, wanting nothing more than to land a hit on him.
Argana threw a right hook, which made Bell lean back. He watched his fist fly harmlessly over him, and he shot back up, uppercutting her in the side.
Argana didn't let that stop her, though, as she threw a right hook instead. Bell caught her arm and pulled her close, their faces inches from each other.
Only for Bell to headbutt her. Argana stumbled back as Bell pulled her toward him again. He kneed her in the gut multiple times.
Argana hunched over as Bell threw her over his shoulder and lifted her up in the air before body-slamming her to the ground.
Argana wrapped her arms around her stomach, groaning in pain. Bell turned to Bache but stopped when Argana called out to him.
"I'm not done yet. I want more," she weakly said, trying to push herself to her feet.
Bell turned and saw Argana trying to push herself to her feet. Her arms fell out from under her, and she opens her mouth, trying to bite Bell's shoe.
Bell took a step to her side and moved her into a sitting position. He leaned her back against the wall and held her there.
"You're all out of fight. I'm not gonna beat on you if you can't stand. That would be cruel."
"I don't care. In Telskyura, we fight to the death."
"But we're not in Telskyura, and I refuse to beat on anyone who doesn't have fight left in them anymore."
Bell then walked away and faced down Bache, his final opponent. He hadn't heard her speak a word this entire time, which confused him greatly.
He had a couple of working theories. So, he decided to experiment with one. Clearing his throat, he spoke.
"You've been awfully quiet. Can you not speak Kinoe?" Bell asked in perfect Amazonian.
This caught Bache and the barely conscious Argana off guard.
"You know my language?" Bache asked in Amazonian.
"I know many languages. But why have you been so quiet? Was I correct in assuming you can not speak in Kione?"
Bache shook her head. "I can speak in Kione. But I cannot read or write in it. I have been quiet because you confuse me, child."
Bell quirked an eyebrow. "How have I confused you?"
"You saved my life while we were in the middle of battle. Why would you save your enemy's life in the middle of a fight?"
"Why would your allies kill you in the middle of our fight? Seems counterproductive to me."
Bache continued to stare at Bell. This boy confused her a great deal. Here, they were in the middle of a fight. Yet he was treating her with kindness.
He could've killed every one of them, yet he didn't. He even made her sister sit down and rest and, deafening her. What was his goal? What was his motive for all this?
She was prepared to defeat him and hand him over to Ishtar. A life she knows no one would've enjoyed. Yet here Bell stood with a calm demeanor yet just as battle-hungry as her sister. It really confused her.
"Your motivations puzzle me."
"Only here to help people and end the dark age."
Bache didn't say anything else as she charged at Bell. She had activated her skill, and her fists were soaked in poison. Her poison is more potent than a Poison Vermis's poison, which is known to be deadly.
Its effects are instant and can't be blocked as a single touch could transfer it. But Bell had a shield. He just hoped it would work.
He dodged a flurry of Bache's punches, watching as her fist covered in a purple mist harmlessly flew past him.
Bache's foot shot toward his face in an attempt to kick him. But her foot stopped and floated harmlessly in the air.
"Well, I'm glad to know you can't break past it," Bell chuckled.
Bache tried kicking him in the face again, only for the same thing to happen. Her foot floated harmlessly in Bell's face.
"W-what?" Bache stuttered out.
Bell didn't answer as he grabbed Bache's ankle and yanked her forward. Bache lost her balance and fell backward. She tried to kick Bell's arm so he would let go, but her foot never reached him.
Bell just simply threw her aside, and her back slammed into the wall. This was the third time he had thrown her into one.
Bell pressed his advantage and, wrapped his arm around Bache's neck, and squeezed. Bache struggled for a few seconds as she couldn't breathe before passing out on Bell's chokehold.
After she passed out, Bell gently set her down. He was only in Orario to help people and end the dark age. He didn't need to kill these girls as there wasn't a need to.
Besides, he only has two people he needs to kill. These girls weren't any of them.
Walking to the hole in the ceiling, Bell jumped back through the hole and ended up back in Ishtar's throne room.
.
.
.
.
Everyone in the room looked at the boy in shock and a little fear. He had just beaten their elites and didn't even have a scratch on him.
Ishtar growled in anger while Kali sighed in annoyance. She knew what would happen now that Bell beat her amazons. Looks like her stay in Orario would be extended more than she would like.
Bell reached into his shirt pocket for his glasses as he began to speak.
"Well, that was enjoyable, but you lost. Now, my terms still stand, but I'm adding new things to our deal. You will free all of the slaves you have here while also giving them money and a safe place to live as an apology for what you've put them through. You will make sure they're fed, clothed, and safe. Understood"
Ishtar growled in annoyance as her grip on her pipe tightened and threatened to shatter the thing. Bell started at her impassively, waiting for her answer.
Ishtar slammed her hand on the armrest and shot to her feet, looking down at Bell from a top her throne.
"How dare you speak to me like that. Who the fuck do you think you are speaking to a goddess like that?!" She roared.
"The guy who just kicked your strike team's ass without breaking a sweat. Do I need to do the same to everyone else in this room? It won't take me long at all," Bell calmly replied.
Ishtar yelled as she threw her pipe at Bell. The pipe never hit him and hung motionless in the air.
"You done throwing a hissy fit?" he asked as Kali looked at him wide-eyed. No wonder her girls lost. They were fighting someone with the six eyes. Something Ishtar had failed to mention in her letter.
But Ishtar had one more trick up her sleeve. Looking at Bell directly in his eyes, her eyes glowed pink as she used her charm.
"You will become my slave and help me take down Freya. After that, Kali will use you as a breeding horse until you die. Understand," Ishtar growled.
Bell just laughed, which caught everyone off guard.
"Sorry, that won't work on me. Now then, shall we talk terms."
Ishtar stumbled back and fell onto her throne in shock. How was a mere mortal able to resist a goddess of beauty's charm? Just what the hell was this boy?
Bell took a step forward, and Ishtar tried to scoot back but couldn't. Her throne was blocking her escape. Seeing as she had no other option, Ishtar deflated and looked at Bell.
"Very well. I agree to your terms," Ishtar mumbled.
"Good." Bell turned and began walking away but stopped and looked back at Ishtar.
"If I find out, you make any more people slaves. I'll add you to my kill list. I don't give a shit if you're a goddess."
Bell then walked away as the Berbera cleared a path for him.
.
.
.
.
Bell arrived back at the Stardust Garden before the sun came up. It hadn't taken him too long to win in his fight against the pleasure district.
Just goes to show him that Zald and Alfia are in a league of their own when it comes to power. He walked in through the front door to a quiet and empty house.
He sighed and began heading to Astraea's office. He did promise her to stop by once he was done. Reaching her office, he was going to knock but saw the door was open.
He looked up a little and saw two people in Astraea's office. But what was odd was that one was a signature he didn't recognize.
Bell quickly threw the door open and saw a tan man with dark hair covering Astraea's mouth with his hand while brandishing a knife in front of her.
Bell didn't even think as he shut forward and picked the man up. He raised him in the air and slammed him through a table, causing it to shatter.
The man aimed the knife at Bell's neck, but he caught it and disarmed him before stabbing the man in the shoulder.
What followed next was a brutal, bloody beat down of the tan man. Bell just kept punching him in the face over and over again, his hand getting covered in Tammuz's blood.
Astraea just watched, horrified at what was happening. She was just waiting in her office when this man broke in and threatened to do so many awful things to her.
She couldn't scream for help as he covered her mount, and he pressed his knife to her throat multiple times. It terrified her.
The sound of Bell beating Tammuz had woken the rest of the familia up, and they rushed to Astraea's office.
Tammuz laid on the ground unmoving as Bell still kept punching him in the face over and over again. His right eye was swollen shut, and multiple teeth were on the floor. His nose was crooked, and his right cheekbone was caved in.
But Bell didn't care and still kept hitting him even as his knuckles started to bleed. Ryu went to check on Astraea.
"Bell!" Alise called out, causing the boy to stop.
His glasses had fallen off in the scuffle, and when his eyes fell on Alise she saw pure rage in them. Bell looked back to Tammuz and saw the damage he had done.
He looked at his right hand and saw a broken and bloody mess. He looked back at Tammuz and felt for a pulse.
There was none.
Bell got off the man's body and looked at Astraea. She looked at Bell in concern but was glad he arrived.
"I'm gonna go fix my hand. Then I'll get rid of his body," Bell said as he walked away.
The rest of the familia by the door moved out of his way, and Bell left, heading to a bathroom to wash his hand.
.
.
.
.
Bell ran his hand under the cold water of the sink. The blood started rinsing off, and Bell saw the damage to his hand.
His knuckles were bent out of place, and his hand looked crooked. He tried to close it and make a fist but failed.
"Well shit," Bell muttered, keeping his hand under the faucet.
His mind kept playing the events of what had just happened. He had just beaten a man to death. Yet he didn't feel a thing. Why?
Tammuz wasn't on his hit list. But he was hurting Astraea, and who knows what would've happened had Bell not gotten back when he did.
Bell turned the faucet off and wrapped a towel around his hand. Nobody needed to see it. He walked out of the bathroom and back to Astraea's office.
He entered and saw her and her familia staring at Tammuz's corpse. Hearing Bell enter, the rest of the familia look at him.
"What?" Bell asked.
The familia kept looking at him as Alise stepped forward.
"Thank you. For saving our goddess."
She held her hand out, and Bell saw his glasses. He grabbed them and put them on, walking past Alise as he did so.
"You might wanna turn away for this. It won't be pretty," Bell said.
Not a single one of them took him up on his offer.
"Very well"
Bell raised his hand and used Blue on Tammuz's body. The vortex crushed Tammuz's body into paste before sucking the paste up as well and getting rid of any evidence that he was ever here.
Ryu watched this and realized that Bell held back at the church. Had he decided, he could've killed every single Evilus member that dropped from the rafters of the church.
Ryu approached Bell as his messed up hand was lazily hanging by his side. She cleared her throat to get his attention and pointed at his hand.
"Can I heal it?" She softly asked.
Bell raised his right hand for Ryu to see better.
"Go ahead"
Ryu began chanting Noa heal as the rest of the familia began leaving Astraea's office and back to their rooms.
No one was able to sleep that night.
.
.
.
.
A few days passed before everything was some semblance of normal again. Iska was hounding Bell to let her give him a rebrand in his looks.
Kaguya, Alise, and Lyra teased Ryu, who grew annoyed at the three. Celty kept to her books while Nezhe cleaned her sword. Maryuu and Noin were playing chess. Ryana was studying magic, and Astraea watched her children with a small smile on her face.
To ease the worry of her kids, she explained this wasn't the first time something like this happened to her. A similar situation happened in heaven, but she was saved by Zeus.
Nobody saw the small yet sad smile Bell had upon hearing this story.
"Come on, Bell, at least let me get you some new clothes," Iska whined.
"I don't feel right having you buy clothes for me," Bell protested.
"Oh, come on, you've been dragging your feet about getting furniture to fill up your room and me getting you new clothes. When are you gonna let us buy things for you?" Iska protested.
"Well, it just doesn't feel right having people buy things for me. Everything I've gotten since I was eight, I've had to earn through hard work."
Kaguya let out a laugh.
"I think you've done a lot of work, pretty boy. Freeing all the slaves from the pleasure district by yourself. That's not something just anyone can do."
Bell rolled his eyes. "It wasn't a big deal. Besides, I got more than I bargained for."
Alise wrapped her arm around Iska. "Yeah, now you have two amazons chasing after you. Look at you, go playboy."
Bell groaned as he put his hands on his head.
"Don't remind me. How long do you think I can theoretically hide here until they find me?"
"Not long, once they find out you're here, it'll be constant visits. Depending on how good you are, they may never leave," Lyra teased.
"How lewd," Ryu said, aghast.
"Bell and the sisters sitting in a tree f u c k-
"Kaguya!" Ryu shrieked.
"Oh, you're such a party pooper," Kaguya joked.
"Don't worry, Bell, if they come around, we'll say you're not home. Make sure to hide in case they barge in," Nezhe said.
Nezhe then looked over to Celtly, who had her face buried in her book. Her face was bright red, hearing all the lewd things everyone was saying.
Nezhe leaned into Celty's ear.
"I don't know why you're blushing up a storm. I know about the other books you read," Nezhe whispered.
Celty let out a squeak, and she pretended to read. Nezhe just chuckled, watching as Iska kept bugging Bell.
"Alright, fine. If you won't let me buy you clothes, at least let me give you a haircut," Iska asked.
Bell didn't immediately respond. Instead, he grabbed one of his bangs and held it. It had gotten pretty long. It went past his eye now.
"Do you even know how to cut hair?" Bell asked.
Iska didn't answer, but Alise did.
"Oh yeah, she's amazing at cutting hair. I even let her cut my gorgeous locks."
Bell let out an annoyed sigh. "Fine, go ahead. But don't cut too much."
Iska jumped in delight and ran to get her equipment. Bell looked back to Alise with a nervous expression.
"What did I just agree to?"
"Don't worry, you'll be fine. Probably"
"That's not helping"
Iska returned a few moments later with her styling kit and a beaming smile on her face.
"I knew if I bugged you enough, you would say yes."
"That sounds wrong on so many levels."
Iska didn't care for his comment and made her way to him. Bell turned his infinity off and watched Iska setting her kit down on the table next to him.
"Only touch the hair. Nothing else okay," Bell said.
His little session with Astraea helped a little, but he still had a long way to go before he let people touch him again. If he didn't have the session with Astraea, he most likely wouldn't have agreed to the haircut in the first place.
"Don't worry, I won't break your boundaries. Just a simple haircut is all I'll give ya."
Bell let out a breath and waited as Iska got ready. He felt her put a robe over him so his hair could fall on it and remained still as she began working.
The rest of the familia watched as Bell had his haircut. They found his face funny as he looked pissed off he was getting his haircut.
After 20 minutes, Iska finished and held up a mirror for Bell to see. His eyes widened a little at his new look.
His hair was shorter but not too short. His bangs only went down to his forehead, and the shorter hair gave him a more serious look.
Kaguya just had a wide smirk on her face.
"Oh, Bell, you have no idea what you're doing to me right now."
Bell scooted his chair away.
"Someone needs to satiate your thirst, woman."
"That could be you~."
Bell smirked. He knew how he wanted to play this game now.
"Maybe one day. If you can surprise me in an unexpected way."
"That a challenge?" Kaguya asked.
"And what if it is?"
"Then I gladly accept your challenge. I'll use every trick I have."
"Uh, guys, we're still here. Take your challenge flirting elsewhere," Alise said.
Well, this chapters a little shorter than the others, but I hope it's not too short. Anyway, a quick recap is that Bell absolutely dogged on the amazons. Beat Tammuz to death because of the man's jealousy. Got a haircut and challenged Kaguya.
All in all not too bad. I wonder how Kaguya will surprise Bell. Knowing her, it'll be interesting.
Oh also hope the fight scene wasn't too bad.
Anyway later.
