sorry for this terrible battle scene. i am absolutely no good at them.
"wait! vidia!" daina yelled. when vidia didn't come back she sighed. she quickly thrust a bag of pixie dust into his hand. "use it so you can fly" daina explained before flying after vidia. milori sighed as he covered himself with dust and followed daina. Both of them joined vidia who was hiding behind a rock. she motioned to look down.
when both them did they were shocked. it was at least a 50 feet drop straight into lava. clarion was standing in a cage, hanging above the ceiling, with morgana floating in front of her. Without warning vidia flew down.
"hey, stupid!" she yelled. morgana turned to find vidia facing her. "so this is how your going to save your dear queen. insulting me. interesting tactic." morgana replied cooly. Vidia rolled her eyes. morgana smirked before raising her hand and firing a ball of green fire. vidia dodged easily. morgana shot another one but once again vidia dodged. With each try morgana become more and more annoyed. it turned out to be the perfect distraction.
daina and milori quickly flew over to clarion. her eyes widened when she spotted her sister and lover. "hey sis. we are going to get you out of here" daina whispered. and then she started to open the lock. she placed her hands on it and muttered something under her breath. when it didn't work she frowned.
"anti-magic spell" clarion explained. that was when it all went south.
"you!" morgana yelled. daina and milori froze. with a wave of morgana's hand the three of them were trapped in a ring of fire. "this is how it's going to work. you can give me your magic or queen clarion's cage might just end up down there" morgana said and motioned towards the lava. when no one replied, she sighed. "and here i was, hoping this would be easy. well, you asked for it" morgana's smirk grew as she moved to a lever.
with one tug there was a loud clanging noise, and clarion's cage began to move downwards. vidia snapped into action. with one quick movement she extinguished the fire. then she turned to morgana.
"your not the only one with powers" vidia smirked, before moving her finger in a circular motion and trapped morgana in a ball of wind. milori rushed to the lever and yanked it upwards. it broke. "this is not good" milori stated. "thanks a lot!" daina yelled.
she moved to clarion and grabbed a dagger from her shoe. milori just stared at her. "what? we girls got to be prepared if we are gonna save your asses" daina remarked while she worked on cutting the lock.
vidia was doing her best to keep morgana trapped but it was difficult "i can't hold her much longer!" vidia yelled. seconds later, morgana was free. milori jumped on her. bad move. within seconds he was singed. morgana created fireballs. she threw them at all three fairies. they barely dodged them. daina finally got the cage open.
"let's go!" daina yelled. "not so fast!" morgana said. she then gave some sort of signal with her hands. all four fairies gaped at the army before them. the army had wings and was coming straight at them. the fairies got scratches and blood everywhere. finally daina got fed up and used her magic to restrain them. vines shot out of the walls and grabbed the army.
morgana groaned in frustration. but the fairies were losing energy. it was all clarion could do to not faint. a wicked smile grew on morgana's face. she created a huge fireball that was... green?! and it was headed straight for clarion! daina quickly jumped in front of her.
"daina!" clarion yelled as daina fell, unconcious and barely alive. then hyacinth caught her. yes, hyacinth, and the other ministers appeared. morgana groaned, knowing her plan was messed up. just then, clarion got an idea.
"everyone, get out. i have a plan." clarion proclaimed. they all flew out. clarion was the last to leave and was at the exit when she stopped. she shot something that made the entire structure of the cave collapsed. clarion quickly shot out. everyone cheered when they realized that morgana was still in the cave.
