[Chapter 18: Playing Hide and Die 2/2]
Atop the head of the Crystaller Building, Lapistoria had her mouth open in shock by the sight of the sky. It went from a vibrant afternoon to a clear blue sky in just a couple of seconds. The citizens of Manehattan were confused at the time of day, checking street clocks to see that there's 45 minutes till sun down. No pony knew what was happening, and Lapistoria could only assume the worst.
Lapistoria: (What is Princess Celestia doing!? Does Dark Matter have anything to do with this? WHAT IS GOING ON!?)
In a moment of panic, Lapistoria jumped off the building and began skydiving. Her objective now is to leave Manehattan, as she has a feeling tugging on her chest that Galaxy's daughters might know where she is. Speak of the devil, she wasn't wrong, cause a gigantic "thing" just fall on the ocean near the bay of Manehattan. Without beating around the bush, the thing that fall was a Perfect Susanoo. There's no doubt in the pegasus mind that the one in it is Hoshi.
The Susanoo was the same one Madara used in the Naruto universe, and it was about to do be put on a test drive. Manehattan has a small island with a giant statue known as the Mare Statue. Practically, it is the MLP equivalent of the Statue of Liberty. Long story short, an example was going to be made out of that statue.
Hoshi: Hope you're watching bitch! "Desu" THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO CHEATERS!!! "DESU"
The Susanoo's sword swing wide, cutting the statue in half. But the force applied to it was so big, she unintentionally cut all the tall buildings of the city, killing a lot of ponies in the process. The slash almost caught Lapistoria during the free fall, and because of that close call, the rest of the sisters finally got her on sight.
Ringo THERE SHE IS!!! "DESUKA"
Sora: KILL HER!!! "DAWA"
Lapistoria: (If the sun stays like that, going to Canterlot will be meaningless! It doesn't matter where I go now, my escape plan is not gonna to work.)
[¿Middle? of the 22nd day: 7 days remaining]
Hanabi: TAKE THIS!!! "DAYO" [Ki Blast Barrage]
Lapistoria was still falling when Hanabi started spamming Ki Blast all trigger happy. Hanabi was being completely incompetent at the way she was shooting, because most Ki Blasts didn't even hit the building, let alone Lapistoria. They mostly just whizz by, hitting the bases of most of the buildings Hoshi had cut in half. It was all a big mess of fireworks.
When Lapistoria landed on the floor, she managed to camouflage herself with the massive crowd of ponies that were running for their lives. However, Kagayaku still had sight of her, so she pulled out a set of pins known as the Darklit Planets. These are the most powerful pins in The World Ends with You, giving her access to some godlike Psychs.
Kagayaku: [Black Mars]
A pyrotechnic black trail was following Lapistoria, burning everypony that got caught in its line. It was a carnage of the highest degree, but it was about to get worse. The upper half sections of the buildings Hoshi cut finally came crashing down. The debris cause a lot of smoke, which made them lose sight of Lapistoria once again.
Sora: Is she dead? "Dawa"
Ringo: Hanabi, can't you sense her energy or something? "Desuka"
Hanabi: I could "Dayo" But the Nullifier she's wearing is hiding her power level really well "Dayo"
After a while, surviving pegasus in the city were flying away from the smoke. Sora didn't want to risk having one of these pegasus be Lapistoria, so she did the most reasonable thing a pony can do in this situation...
She went on an unbiased killing spree.
Sora: Die you fucking imbeciles! "Dawa"
Sora drew two swords from out of nowhere, these are Pyra and Mythra's Aegis Swords. A red sword of fire, and a white sword of light used by Rex in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. With these weapons, Sora flew around the cloud of dust with the intent to kill Lapistoria the first chance she gets. It doesn't matter which head pops out, Sora will make sure she cuts them right off.
While she was doing this, the rest of the girls found the premise of murdering civilians to be quite appealing. So they keep doing it until Lapistoria inevitably comes out. Unfortunately for them, that wasn't going to happen...
From within the cloud of dust and falling debris, Lapistoria managed to reach the train station unharmed. The ramp was completely empty because everypony was in the train to evacuate the city. It can be seen through the windows how everypony was absolutely terrified. The young pegasus on the other hoof was relief, as she was almost close to escaping Manehattan.
Lapistoria: SPIKE, WHERE ARE YOU!!!
Himawari: [Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō]
Six rods of light hit Lapistoria in a circle around her body while she was running. Her whole body became paralyzed, and she tripped from her sprint, rolling all the way to Himawari. What she used was a Kidō known as Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō. It is used in the Bleach universe to subdue people with varying levels of success. Since Lapistoria can't use her powers, it is the perfect way to catch her without giving her a chance to escape.
Himawari: [Bakudō #63. Sajō Sabaku]
However, she wasn't going to give her any chances. Bakudō #63. Sajō Sabaku is a Kidō that summons a yellow rope of light that also binds her enemy. Lapistoria is now double trapped, with absolutely no way to move in the slightest.
Himawari: I knew holding fort in the train station was a good idea "Masu" I got to call my sisters so that we can torture you together! "Masu"
Himawari ran outside, screaming with joy that she captured Lapistoria. As she was doing that, Spike came out of cover and walked over to Lapistoria. He was now ready to test if his fire can send her to Canterlot.
Spike: I've never tried this before... Sure hope this works.
Lapistoria: Do it, let's not hesitate any longer! I need to know what's going on in Canterlot! I need to see Princess Celestia and Princess Luna!
Spike spew green fire on to Lapistoria, disintegrating her body, and sending her straight to Celestia. The little dragon was surprised at himself, he didn't knew he could do that. But now is not the time to be surprised, he needs to go to Canterlot as well.
Spike pulled out two train tickets, one was for Lapistoria. These were meant to be used in case Galaxy's daughters never made it to Manehattan. To bad they actually did, cause now Lapistoria's ticket is obsolete.
Spike: I won't be needing this one anymore...
The dragon tossed the second ticket as he was heading to the train in the station. But unfortunately, due to some cruel act of fate, the train in the station left before schedule. Spike was bamboozled, but he couldn't deny that it made sense. The city is being attacked after all.
At the same time, Himawari finally brought her sisters to the station. Every one of them except Kagayaku were all soak in blood from killing way too many civilians.
Sora: Damn Kagayaku, you sure know how to keep yourself clean "Dawa"
Kagayaku: Finding blood disgusting helps in keeping one self clean "Desu~wa"
Sora: Whatever "Dawa" Anyways, where's the bitch? "Dawa"
The girls had a look at the entire station, but Lapistoria was nowhere to be seen. They did caught a glimpse of the train that left the station, and because of that, they begin to put two and two together.
Ringo: Did the filly escaped on the train? "Desuka"
Himawari: But that's impossible! "Masu" I had her trapped with Bakudō #61, and #63 "Masu" She shouldn't be able to move a muscle as long as I'm in range! "Masu"
Hanabi: Well, she moved more than just a muscle "Dayo" Cause SHE'S OUT OF HERE!!! "DAYO"
Hoshi: Let's chase that train! "Desu" Leave no pony alive! "Desu"
The six alicorns flew out of the station to chase the fleeing train, while Spike stood there like he dodged a heat seeking missile. He was at a loss for words, nothing can describe the heart stopping feeling of narrowly avoiding death.
Spike: G-Guess I won't be needing this one either...
Sadly, Spike had nowhere to go now. All he can do is wait at the station until Lapistoria picks him up. After the destruction of the city, the little dragon doubts a train will come and pick him up. So until then, he is trapped in Manehattan with no way of getting back.
Spike: Please Lapis... pick me up soon...
In Canterlot Castle, Galaxy was with the princesses looking around the throne room. For the first time since he got here, he finally acknowledge that the stained glass depicting historical events of Equestria still has their original portraits. Galaxy couldn't stop looking at the one of Spike saving the Crystal Empire, he had this face like if he remembered something important.
Galaxy: (Oh shit, I forgot Spike existed... Oh well.) Cely, can you tell me the history behind this stained glass?
Celestia: Of course, that was when... W-When...? Ummmmm...? I can't remember?
Luna: Odd... I can't seem to recall either?
Galaxy: If you can't remember, then why do you have these? I believe it is a good idea to update all of them to things that happened recently.
Celestia: You're a genius Galaxy! I'll get on it right awa-
Princess Celestia was caught off by a sparkling smoke cloud that appeared in front of her. It swirl itself into shape, forming the pegasus filly right before her. Lapistoria's restraints were gone aside from her Nullifier, as she was now standing firmly in front of the three royal alicorns.
Lapistoria: What's going on...? Princess Celestia...?
Galaxy: (WHAT THE FUCK!?)
Celestia: *Gasp* It's the filly!
Lapistoria: "The filly...?"
Luna: Subdue her!
With Luna and Celestia's combined magical efforts, Lapistoria was pin down to the floor. As she was struggling to get back up, she couldn't take her eyes out of Galaxy. There's no doubt in her mind that he did something to them, and she wants to figure it out.
Lapistoria: Dark Matter! Ngh! WHAT DID YOU DO!?
Luna: His name is Prince Galaxy Spiral, and we suggest you to refer to him as such!
Galaxy: It's alright Lulu, I cannot escape from the evil that is "Dark Matter". I'm a monster...
Lapistoria: ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!
The princesses did not like the tone Lapistoria was giving, so they applied more pressure on the filly, forcing her to shut up.
Lapistoria: GAH...! W-Why...?
Galaxy: It's over, we'll hold you down until my daughters come back. They'll be the ones who will give you a proper execution.
Lapistoria: *Pant* *Pant* (This can't end like this...! Why can't I... WHY CAN'T I...?)
Galaxy: I have no idea how you got here without your powers, but I guess it doesn't matter now does it? It's over, you lose, and I win...
Lapistoria: !!!
"Lapistoria, what does it mean to save Equestria?"
"Winning! specifically against Dark Matter! To save Equestria we must beat him up!"
"Winning? Really? Don't you think it sounds a tad bit... shallow?"
"Why not? There can't be any peace in Equestria if we don't win? Am I missing something important?"
Lapistoria: Winning...? Is that what you think it's about?
Galaxy: Duh! I mean, isn't this a game you're playing?
Lapistoria: No... I don't mean that...
All of a sudden, Lapistoria was withstanding the magical pressure of the princesses. She was slowly getting up, and the two sisters were slowly losing their grip on her.
Lapistoria: Princess Celestia... Princess Luna... Please... Listen to me for a bit...
The young pegasus got up. She couldn't move yet, but she is about to do so soon enough. The Nullifier in her hoof is vibrating.
Lapistoria: Ever since the day I've woke up in Canterlot, I covered my doubts in a sheet of naivety, and just let things go along as I lived with you.
Lapistoria took her first step, and the princesses showed bewilderment over the filly's will and strength. They apply more force, but nothing is stopping her. The Nullifier in her hoof is starting to crack.
Lapistoria: But then things got worse. I learned that I'm not from Equestria, that I'm some random human with memories of a random filly.
Luna: Your suffering doesn't even come close to Galaxy's! What's even the point!?
Lapistoria: I'M GETTING THERE!!!
A burst of aura came rushing out of her wings. The magic of the princesses was dispelled by the force, and they were pushed back a bit. Galaxy got in between the two sisters and filly, as he thought things were going to get violent from here. The Nullifier in her hoof is falling apart.
Lapistoria: I've got NOTHING to "win" out of this! I'm a human without a past or future fighting for a world that ISN'T EVEN MINE!!! This isn't fun, this isn't easy, AND ALL YOU PONIES WANT TO KILL ME!!!
As more force expelled from her body, something unexpected happened, Lapistoria suddenly just stopped. She took a deep breath, and after sighing, she finished her rant.
Lapistoria: But I still want to protect this world with all I have, because I know none of you are doing this on your own free will. In other words, I'm doing this because it is the right thing to do.
Galaxy: The right thing to do? What the hell are you talking about?
Lapistoria: I don't want to win Dark Matter, I want a true future... I WANT TOMORROW!!!
The Nullifier in her hoof... Is broken...
From the outside of the castle, it can be seen how the upper section was blasted apart by the sheer force of her power. The citizens of Canterlot reacted in fear, as they couldn't comprehend the reason why it happened. As for the town of Ponyville, the rest of the Elements Bearers were witnessing the event in the distance. Their concern has reached its peak, because they believe their daughters are in Canterlot.
Fluttershy: D-Do you t-think that was our daughters?
Applejack: Don't think so sugar cube, smells like danger. Our daughters wouldn't do something so violent.
Rainbow Dash: Then what are we waiting for, let's go to Canterlot and see what's happening!
Mean while, on the train tracks leaving Manehattan, the six young alicorns finished their train pursuit. It was a gruesome sight, the train was derailed and burning, while the girls were checking every corpse to see if Lapistoria was in it.
Ringo: This ain't it "Desuka"
Hoshi: Not this one either "Desu"
Hanabi: ...
Ringo: You're awfully quiet there Hanabi "Desuka" What's-
Hanabi: THE SUN IS MOVING!!! "DAYO"
All of the girls quickly looked up at the sky. The sun was around 3:00 PM, and it was descending rapidly. There are two reasons they can think of this happening, either Celestia is betraying them, or...
Hoshi: The filly is in Canterlot moving the sun! "Desu"
And in the streets of the destroyed city of Manehattan, Spike stood in astonishment as the afternoon sky shifts to night. Deep down the little dragon knows Lapistoria had something to do with this. He didn't knew why though, it was just a... feeling...
Spike: Lapis...
Back in Canterlot Castle, the princesses and prince witness Lapistoria being wrapped in an orb of magic levitating where she stood. From the inside, the young pegasus body was taking a new form. Her wings became larger, she grew a horn, and she started to age. When the orb touched the ground, it faded away, and the little filly came out of it as a young mare...
Lapistoria: Equestria has no need for humans like us. And I'll make sure it stays like that!
A brand new cutiemark has formed on her flank. It was a clock inside the circle of a solar eclipse. The numbers were Roman Numerals.
Galaxy: Fucking... Mary Sue...!
Lapistoria: Huh?
Right on schedule, Galaxy's daughters (Who cleaned themselves up,) teleported to the castle using Hanabi's Instant Transmission. They almost couldn't recognize Lapistoria by the way she looked. But when they did, they were absolutely furious...
Hoshi: WE KNEW YOU WERE GONNA FUCKING CHEAT! "DESU" YOU USED YOUR POWERS! "DESU"
Lapistoria: Fluttershy's daughter could have killed me in the train station. But the sadistic nature you've inherited from your father ended up saving me.
Himawari: BULLSHIT!!! "MASU"
Lapistoria: And Spike was the reason it all worked out. I wouldn't have made it here without him.
Celestia/Luna: Spike?
Galaxy: (OH SHIT, I FORGOT SPIKE EXISTED!!!)
Sora: FUCK IT! "DAWA" WE'RE PULLING OUT THE BIG GUNS!!! "DAWA" HOSHI! "DAWA"
In an oddly malicious way, Hoshi pulled out a black notebook with the words Death Note written on it. Self explanatory, no need to go into detail. She then looked at Lapistoria and said...
Hoshi: Your name is Lapistoria right? "Desu"
Lapistoria: ???
Hoshi: I remembered clearly when Luna said your name at the Gala "Desu" It was after the tower collapse and you started choking my sister! "Desu"
Lapistoria: What does that have to do with anything?
Hoshi: You'll see... "Desu"
Hoshi elegantly wrote Lapistoria's name in the Death Note. It was written in cursive, which made the girls laugh like if they're sharing memes. Lapistoria looked at Galaxy, who also looked back at her. He had a disappointing look on his face, the type a father like him is supposed to have.
The princesses were actually happy, as they put the context clues together to figure out that the Death Note was going to kill Lapistoria. The excitement was too much, they couldn't help but gloat.
Celestia: It's over now! Once we're done with this, Galaxy and I are going make love!
Luna: You mean after me...
Celestia: Did I stutter!?
Lapistoria: (Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are acting soo different. I wish to know what Dark Matter did to them, but that "Death Note" is peeking my curiosity.) Hey, can you tell me what it does now? It doesn't look like it worked.
Sora: IMPATIENCE BITCH ASS!!! "DAWA" JUST WAIT 25 MORE SECONDS!!! "DAWA"
Lapistoria: I can kill you in two...
The alicorn mare didn't gave time to react, she preform an incredible acceleration that not even they could perceive. But right as she was about to strike, a comically long katana clash with her hoof. This was the Masamune, specifically the one Sephiroth uses in Final Fantasy VII. Galaxy's daughters may not be quick enough to react to an attack like that, but their father sure does, he's built different.
Galaxy: Two seconds...? Really...? You've got to be the slowest Mary Sue I've ever seen.
Lapistoria: GRH!
Galaxy: [Reflega]
Galaxy reflect the damage back to Lapistoria, sending her flying back where she came. The alicorn fillies were laughing even harder now, and the royal sisters also joined in on the mockery.
Galaxy: Sorry twat, but you're not the one who is going to kill my daughters.
Lapistoria: !?
The fillies did a count down from 10, which the princesses also chanted. It almost felt like new years for a moment. The only ponies not counting are Lapistoria and Galaxy, as they both didn't found it amusing for different reasons. Here it comes...

Hanabi: Wait, why is she-
Galaxy: STAR PLATINUM: [ZA WARUDO!]
Without any warning, build up, or reason whatsoever, Galaxy stopped time with his Stand: Star Platinum. He did the same thing on the day he raced Rainbow Dash, but now this isn't a race, it's an assassination. Galaxy swing his Masamune at his OWN DAUGHTERS while time was frozen. He cut them all to smithereens, except Hoshi because he has something else planned for her. All he did was chop off her legs.
Within this frozen time, Lapistoria was still able to move and see. And frankly, she wanted to know WHAT she was seeing.
Lapistoria: Ummm... what are you doing?
Galaxy: JESUS!!! HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU...? Never mind... Hey, mind doing me a favor?
Lapistoria: No
Galaxy: Wonderful, can you teleport the princesses away from here. Like to their rooms, or by the train station?
Lapistoria: I hate you
Galaxy: Lovely, knew I could count on you!
Galaxy did the work himself, and teleported the princesses to the train station. Once he did that, he continue chopping his daughters to make sure they're dead by the time he starts time. Meanwhile Lapistoria was just standing there like a moron trying to find a good reason for why Galaxy is doing this.
Galaxy: Soshite toki wa ugoki dasu...
When time moved on again, things got gruesome. Everypony except Hoshi got turned into grind guts in a puddle of blood. They all died instantly, and Hoshi had to see it happen as her body was separated from her legs.
Hoshi: AAAHHH!!! AAAAHHHH! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! DADDY!!! "DESU" WHAT'S GOING ON!? "DESU"
Galaxy: *Sigh* Your screams of agony are absolutely cathartic. Don't take it personnel girl, consider this to be... A late abortion...
Hoshi: WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!
And so, Galaxy made sure his daughter's death was an agonizing one, he kept chopping her until her life slowly ebb away like the blood of her body. However, this was just a distraction to the alicorn mare. What was that Death Note all about? The fact that it didn't worked bothered Lapistoria. So she started thinking deeply on a reason it failed.
Lapistoria: (I don't understand...? Did they really wrote my name...? My... Name...?) *GASP*
Galaxy: I know right! Gross! I got weeb all over my coat!
Hoshi: K-Kill... mmeeee... "De...ssss"
Galaxy: WELL IF YOU INSIST!!! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! CCCHHHHHHHOOOOPPP!!!
Lapistoria had no time to waste on trivial slaughter, she needed to go back for Spike before checking on something important. The alicorn mare teleported away, leaving Galaxy to keep doing what he likes. Hoshi died soon afterwards, which put an ulterior plan Galaxy had into motion, just in case Lapistoria survived.
Galaxy: Alright, Cely and Lulu should be here with my girlfriends any time soon. Just need a bit of blood over here, and some body parts over there. Head on my hooves, and a little bit of-
Twilight: GALAXY, WHAT HAP-
Galaxy: I'M SORRY TWILIGHT!!! I COULDN'T SAVE OUR DAUGHTERS!!! THEY'VE GOT KILLED BY "HER!"
The Elements Bearers and princesses saw Galaxy covered in the blood of his daughters, as he hold Hoshi's head around his hooves. Galaxy was really selling the trauma to them, as rain started to pour down the blown up ceiling, and crashing thunder add a dramatic effect. None of the "Main 6" have ever seen something so terrifying in their lives. The sound of Galaxy grieving voice was enough to make them scream in agony.
They stay like this until the end of the Real Day.
Lapistoria picked Spike off the destroyed city of Manehattan, and went straight to another place. Spike didn't even had enough time to ask "what's going on?", as the young mare teleported straight to Baltimare. By this point, it was starting to rain, which meant that the weather wasn't only affected Canterlot, but all of Equestria. When the first drops of rain fall, Spike began asking for answers.
Spike: What happened to you Lapis? Is Princess Celestia and Luna ok? What happened to Galaxy's daughters?
Lapistoria: It's a long story, just know that we won't be returning to Canterlot any time soon.
Spike: BUT WHY!?
Lapistoria: ...
Spike: No... Don't tell me... Did Galaxy just...!
They were now approaching the street where the real Lapistoria lives, and there seems to be a commotion. Ponies from around the neighborhood, and some fillies were standing at the door of the house gossiping. There was also an ambulance carriage with its back doors aiming at the entrance of the house.
It only took a minute before paramedics came out of the house with a pegasus filly on a stretcher. The parents of said filly stayed crying in the front door of their home, as the filly was boarded to the ambulance, and quickly made a run for the hospital. The neighbors were at a loss for words,
"What happened?"
"Was that filly...?"
"I can't believe it!"
Those were the thoughts of every pony in here. They kept it to themselves as to not bring any more sorrow to the parents of the filly they've lost.
Spike: This is... awful...
Lapistoria: Why...? Why do bad things refuse to stop!? WHY ARE THINGS GETTING WORSE!?
Lapistoria's scream draw the attention of the crowd. All of them were confused, because although this mare is a fully grown alicorn, the resemblance she has with the dead filly is uncanny. The parents of the filly thought so too, making them walk into the rain to see closely the face of this mare.
Spike was biting his claws, this was just way to awkward to describe. He grabbed Lapistoria's leg to warn her that she should get out of here, but the alicorn mare couldn't move, she is longing for something that isn't even hers. The mother came closer, enough to place a hoof on her cheek, and ask in a distraught voice...
"Lapistoria... is that you...?"
The young alicorn's heart did a hard beat, snapping her back to reality. Her horn then glowed, unconsciously moving the moon to a point in which the day would come to an end. And once it reached the highest it can get, it all faded to black, and the day finally concluded...
"The game is over"
"But then, what's really changed since I've began?"
"In the end, I wasn't able to save anypony..."
"I'm tired... Celestia..."
"I'm done..."
