Part 5 - Caught And Trial

Some weeks went by, but one day, as they were all sitting around the table to eat lunch, knocks on their door was heard, so Matt stood up and went to see, and when he looked it was the same FBI agents that were taking on Bella's aswell Charlie's case, and he opened it, and let them inside, and Bella sat straighter up, and looked at them, as JJ was the one to say

"He is in our custody, Isabella. Edward Cullen is behind bars until trial in 2 week time. You are safe now."

Bella sagged before beginning to cry of relief and being safe for once, and Matt took her shoulder at first before Sarah took her into her arms, to let her cry, and their children, Bella's siblings were looking at each other and smiled, for their big-sister would be safe now that bastard is behind bars.

Matt then said

"So the trial where and when?"

"On october 1st, 9 AM through the day, aswell in Seattle, Washington. We will as team of BAU and FBI aswell the police from Forks/La Push will be there, to witness and talk. You will be called up on the stand, unless you choose to record it, to be shown instead of that, but you still have to be there, Isabella."

Bella nodded, as she began to think on the matter, and Matt nodded, and said

"We will all be there, my entire family whoever of us that can come, will come and be there."

JJ nodded so did the other agent with her do, and that agent said

"We have gathered all the evidence to show the court and the jugde, that he is not a safe person to be on free foot anylonger than he has, and that his family will NOT allowed to ever see him again, if ever alive again."

All of them nodded and Matt showed them out after they declined food and coffee, and they left.

Bella said

"I will be free finally, mama, papa."

At that the two parents' smiled at her usage of those terms, and they like her now siblings all nodded, and they were able to eat again their food. She was ready for this next part in their eyes, but her therapist would also give her tools to go through the trial with her by her side during those days of the trial.

**********2 Weeks Later, in Seattle, Washington*******

Almost all of the Spears' family were there, but also her mother and her step-father had shown up, as they couldn't believe in what they had heard over the news and the police coming by to tell them what had happened to not just Bella, but Charlie too. They were eager to see her, and see if she would come with them instead of staying with those Spears, for over the years, Sarah had lost contact with Renee, but her and Matt's concact with Bella never stopped, they kept in touch at all times, and now she lived with them, and had chosen them over her own mother to live with. Not that Renee and Phil knew this just yet.

Renee kept staring over Bella and then also glared at Sarah and Matt, as the two were holding an arm over Bella's shoulder, or Bella's hand in theirs. She wanted to be the one who did that, but also to tell Bella stop lying about these things, she strongly believed it all was lies from her own daugther's mouth.

Even those from La Push were to witness what was going to be told today at trial, and also see Bella for first time since it all happened. Jacob and Billy were looking around for her, but due to her back against them, they didn't know where she was at. Her therapist invited by Bella, sat behind her.

After few, the judge came, and an officer said "All Rise" and so they all did for the female judge. Edward sat at his end of the room, and didn't look at anyone for now, only to the table or the floor before himself. His family what was left of it, sat behind him to support him in what they still to this day believed to be all lies.

The judge showed to sit down, and after they all had sat down, she then proceeded to say;

"Today, we are to either make a guilty or not-guilty verdict of Edward Anthony Masen Cullen vs Isabella Marie Swan Spears and Charles Isisah Swan; As you were told at your arrest, Mr Cullen, you were high suspect; Rape of a Minor and First Degree Murder. Isabella was at the time of the said crime you did towards a minor, as she was under 18. You are also suspect in the First Degree Murder of Charles Isisah Swan. What is your take on the accusations?"

Edward and his lawyer stood up, and said

"Not Guilty on both charges, Ma'am."

She nodded, and then to shock to everyone, she said

"I have today also a recorded vision of what Ms Isabella Spears said about these two crimes you allegedly did to both her and her father. Roll the tape please."

And the same man that had called out "All Rise" before, turned on the video and Edward wrapped hi arms across his chest, while staring at the broken Bella was shown on the video;

"So what happened Ms Swan?" A familiar voice to Bella said, which was Dr Spencer Reid of the BAU and FBI, the collegue of Jennifer Jarraeu, and Bella after taking a sip of the water before her;

"Bella and her father was enjoying breakfast together, then she went to her room to get ready for the day ahead, and her father to his to get his last things together before taking off for work at the station. But all the sudden she heard him yell no and then 2 shots were heard, she tried to run for her closet, but she didnt make it, for next she knew she was on her bed, and her clothes were being ripped out, and when she looked up to see who was doing this to her, she screamed out "EDWARD WHAT NO DON'T PLEASE" and he had this deranged look and she couldn't get away from him and his terror of rapes that took hours to do to her. After he finished he punched her and kicked her legs before telling her not to tell anyone, you little whore. And he left her there, bleeding and in alot of pain. She took a break to cry and scream, then she took off into her car, and drove for her safety was with Matt, as she had seen Charlie's dead body in the living room area, and he had been shot in the head and chest, she gulped down the sick, and went off. No neighbours had come out to see what was going on as the gunshots had been loud to wake anyone around them. But none was seen, and she was able to get away and drive off."

Many including her mother and Black father/son duo was in shock of what she said on the tape, and Jennifer Jaraeu's face came in view; and she said

"I have here from the rape-kit; that an Edward Anthony Masen Cullen was the culprit of the rape, and we also found his blood near Charlie's broken body, as he must have hurt himself when not only shooting Charlie twice but stabbed him in the gential area aswell chest area. So he is a match on 100% on who did this to both Isabella and Charlie Swan. So now he is game on for us to find out if he done it before."

And with that they all went to work on the case some more, and to shock of everyone, they found evidence on old cases towards women that he had either sexually assaulted then murdered them and their parents, aswell rapes of many minor girls all over the US, and who had covered it up, none other his own family members had. It made everyone there in the room gasped and paled of these news.

Edward sat in his chair not looking at anyone, nor saying anything either, as he was squirming alot more now, and then the judge said

"I have everything I need, and I think the jurors too have it, so I will postpone this trial until they have come up with a verdict of what they think of everything they have heard today and week ahead."

As the trial had gone on for a week, up to this point, and Bella left with Matt and Sarah before her mother could even reach her side, to talk or rather confront her yet on her own plans for her daugther.

They came back to their rented place, a big beautiful house, nearby the courthouse, and they liked it alot, but they did miss home home. Even Bella missed Aberdeen where they now lived at together.
