Part 6 - Verdict And The Volturi

A week went by, while waiting on the verdict, Bella and the family went by Charlie's place, as it was now released into her care of doing whatever she wanted with it, and Matt helped her to get hold of a real state agent to begin the journey to sell the house.

But before that, they went ahead to renovate the whole house to full new glory state, and when the agent came by, she was really impressed with what they had done to redo things around, so she took pictures and got it up on zillow for sale.

After they were done with that business, Bella went through things, and sold most things to others or donated them to either antique places or shelters for women and men aswell for animals. Bella only kept few items of her own things aswell few of Charlie's.

Other things were shipped to her mother's place to go through herself when they too came home from the trial, it would be a nasty surprise for Renee and Phil to come home to see around their house.

Then on friday, they were all picked up by the police new chief of Forks/La Push and his men, they were really nice people and very kind to her, and that meant that work would be done differently from now on too. They took them all to the court house, as the jurors were ready with the verdict, and Edward was picked up by the nearby jailhouse so he too was there to face the verdict and so on.

After everyone had sat down, and the same judge came in and they all sat down, then she turned to jurors, and said

"You have reached a verdict?" One of them stood, a man in his late 50's and he said

"We have, your honour." She was given a note, and she nodded before the note was back in his hands, and he was to say the verdict on each crime, while she said

"On the crime of Rape of a Minor- First degree, what is your verdict?"

"Guilty." At that most of the room gasped or cried out (Esme and Alice did this. Carlisle was hanging his head, he realised he wouldn't be able to save his son's ass anymore.)

"On the verdict of First Degree Murder?"

"Guilty!" And with that most burst into gasps, cries or shock all over the faces, while Bella was happy with it all, and Matt held her hand, as the judge then said

"I have not heard of such both bizarre, and very brutal crime that you are now convicted of, Mr Cullen, therefore I will give you the death sentence on Murder charge and 40 years of the Rape of a Minor crime. You will also be registered as a Sexual Predator. Take him away!"

And with that he was dragged screaming of he would get Bella again, Bella while paling at his words being screamed, she just shrugged it off, and hugged her father, Matt, who just held her, and while the other humans in the room didn't know, but when the FBI gotten out of Seattle, they were met up by a truck, and in it was the Volturi's who took Edward into their car, while subduing him first so he wouldn't know any of this had happened, until he was back in Italy with them.

Only then would he know what deep trouble he was in, and he would never see any of his family nor the outside of the said building for 500 years, for that was what he would get in their custody.

Meanwhile Bella with Matt and the family went out of the building so full of life and happiness that they went into Forks to the only diner in town, to eat a celebratory dinner together before leaving the whole state to get back home.

Renee and Phil had followed their steps, and when they too came into the diner, they were shown a place far from the ones they had followed in, and they were both in anger and confusion of everything they had heard so far. Bella was in Matt's loving arms, while sitting there waiting on their food to arrive.

Before too long, Renee had enough and she all but flew over and grasped Bella's arm hard and tried to drag her out of the seat she was in, and began yelling nonsense, and Bella finally stood up, and that was when Renee saw that her daugther was taller than herself, and Bella said

"Renee enough! I do not need your shit anymore. I am 18 now, as I turned 18 few weeks ago, not that you really cared about that, for all is about you and your other needs over mine. No wonders I took off to stay with Charlie until his murder took place. Not that you cared about him either. You are nothing but a leech of shittyness, and I hope you have a good life with Phil, and can let go of me, that you should have done long time ago."

And Renee was so shocked that she didn't notice that Bella then sat back down, and Matt with the others including Sarah who gave Renee a harsh glare praised her on how she handled it. Renee huffed and turned redder than before, and she said

"I am your mother, not Sarah or anyone of these people that you are with today, I am, Isabella and while you may be 18, you are still under my care!"

"No, Renee, for what you didn't know, is that you sign on a piece of a paper years ago, that reclines your status of being Bella's mother, when in an event of Charlie's death, as he too knew what a shitty mother if you ever was one to Bella even, therefore as Matt and I are her godparents, we are now her parents for as long she may need us, but she does NOT want or need you in her life, for she gave that up when she left you and that Phil over there for your own selfishness shit."

Sarah said to Renee who stood there gapping in shock, so did Phil and the others there, as they were to listen and hear all of this going on, and Bella didnt even say anything refute any of it, and Renee gave another angry huff and glare at them all, and then she got back to Phil's equal angry side, and the two took off in their shamed state, after paying for their food, and left all together.

Bella said

"Thanks, Mama." Sarah just smiled and said

"You are my and Matt's eldest daugther in everything but Blood, but you will always be loved and cared for by us. Always and Forever."

Bella grinned wider and hugged the both of them tightly, and she then also hugged the others that had come with them all. As she did this, the two Black son and father duo came in and saw all of this, and both frowned before were lead to same table as Phil and Renee had been placed by.

Jacob was looking at her back with lustful eyes, as he didn't like his father didn't believe what Edward Cullen had done to her. Afterall the humans didn't know it was his venom not bloood that had been matched to Bella's rape-kit. They didn't want to believe any of it being true, nor that Bella didn't want to be with them, as promised by Charlie once.
