September 10th dear diary today I turned 15 and the Gang threw Susie and I a huge surprise party. We had no idea it was going to happen, all we knew was that Kimi had invited us to her house for a Japanese tea ceremony. As I have recently become interested in world culture, and am currently studying Japanese culture in my spare time. We arrived to a very dark house and when we got inside Kimi turned on the lights and everyone was there. This was an unexpected but fun surprise.
When we got home my big gift from mom and dad was a completely remodeled sewing space as my old space was way way to small. I am learning advanced quilting this semester and needed more space. I also received several yards of new fabric from my sisters and we all got a surprising announcement mom and dad have been chosen to adopt twins who will be born in June but will probably arrive in late April or early may. This is so exciting Georgia and Gwen will no longer be the babies. At 3 almost 4 they are doing amazing even though they have a disability. Zack is taking me out for supper as our first real date so I need to change and finish doing my hair will tty tomorrow.
September 17th dear diary sorry I didn't write the other day we had to deal with a very sad thing Daniel and Ellen passed away within a few hours of each other on the 15th. We are all still very sad this is a very hard loss for our family. We will be going to New York state and west Virginia for 2 weeks I will write around the first.
October 1st dear diary we got home very late last night and are all doing better, we will always be sad but they are both in heaven now. And we are turning their old apartment into something mom calls a safe house for Women and children, this and the grandma wing will be a safe space for them to hide, from things mom has asked me not to discuss. Mom and I are heading out to decorate the safe space so I will tty in a couple days diary.
October 3rd dear diary today mom and I accepted the first family into the Daniel and Ellen safe house for young women I can't discuss what they are here for but can say its a mom and her 3 year old triplets. We then went to several appointments for us girls. And then mom and dad took us to meet the woman who's giving her twins to our family. She is young only almost 15 so yes close to my age, she has asked for an open adoption so she can be an aunt to her kids. We all loved her and she is now an unofficial sister to us, her name is Ashley and her boyfriend is named David. After our meeting mom and dad went on a date night so Rebecca and I were in charge here at home. I need to sign off as mom just reminded me I start back to school in person tomorrow.
October 15th dear diary sorry for not writing in 9 days but between school a bad cold and having an eye infection I have not been able to write very much. The whole family caught my cold and everyone had meds for some kind of secondary infection, Rebecca like me had an eye infection Clara Savannah Elsie and Emily all had ear infections. Rose and Violet ended up with Sinus infections. Gwen and Georgia had strep and an ear infection yuk. Signing off mom wants us to rest and get better before our special family trip to see a very important event.
October 20th dear diary I write this as we fly to Montana to see my 2nd cousin become Govoner of montana. This is the trip I was talking about the other day. We are all proud of her as its a very very important job. We are here though the 1st then heading to New Orleans to see Patrick Joe and their girls Mary Ann and Mia Jo who just turned 2. we are there for 2 weeks and will possibly see them welcome there new baby boy. I will write around the 1st of December as this month is nuts.
December 2nd dear diary we arrived home the 30th from our special vacation and will find out on Christmas eve if we will have sisters brothers or one of each. Names being considered are Daniel Joseph after Daniel and Great uncle Joe and James Mathew for dads dad and My cousin who passed away last October. For girls mom and I love Ellen Joann for Ellen and her friend who passed away last spring and Elanor Grace for the sister mom lost when she was 3 and my twin who passed when she and I were still in mom yes I was sposed to be a twin. Rebecca and I are in charge of the party we are having Clara bake 2 snow people cakes and then Rebecca and I will turn them into either girls or boys. I will write then as we have to catch up on school work.
December 24th dear diary first the big news I AM HAVING TWIN BROTHERS THAT'S RIGHT OUR FAMILY WILL NOW HAVE 2 BROTHERS. We did find out that they will be born with very poor vision and possibly go blind at about age 3, as their mom has an eye condition she was born with that left her blind by age 3 they have a100 percent chance of having it. From how Rebecca has explained it to me they will be lucky to have a little bit of sight. Their dad also has a mild form of the disease and is partially sighted he can see some colors and shadows. This is what Rebecca meant by some sight.
For Christmas eve our secret santas had a new system this year we got our Santa a book a movie something from their list and their Christmas jammies. We did this so that it would be different I got a 2 pack of Disney Christmas pants 2 long sleeve tops a series of quilting themed mysteries, new needles thread and fabric, plus new church clothes from mom. Emily received a set of famous actors books 2 pairs of jammies, the newest movie by her favorite actor and her church clothes. Elsie got her jammies several books a movie about the titanic and church clothes. Rebecca received several steam books 2 pairs of jammies a set of her favorite medical show on DVD and her clothes. Clara received jammies a bunch of cook books 3 new cooking shows and clothes. Gwen got several books jammies a movie about a gymnast and church clothes. Georgia got sports books jammies a movie about a soccer playing dog and her clothes. Savannah got jammies 3 new ballet books clothes and the American girl movie about a dancer. Rose got music books jammies a movie and church clothes. Violet received swimsuits jammies books and clothes she really doesn't watch TV much. So mom allowed me to get her swim suits instead.
December 25th dear diary we had an amazing day we all received so many cool gifts, our big gifts were as follows I received a new sewing machine several more yards of fabric and a new pattern designing software. Rebecca got several books on medicine she wants to be a pediatrician when she finishes school. She also got a letter stating she has been invited to a women in medicine conference this summer. Elsie who recently stopped writing and started loving theater received word she will be able to transfer schools and several books on it. Emily got a new portfolio and head shots, Savannah received new leotards warm up clothes and an invite to an intensive summer dance program. Gwen received new leotards a new beam and private lessons. Georgia received soccer stuff and word she made the team for her and Gwen's preschool. Rose received so many cute clothes and an invite to a prestigious summer music camp. Violet received more swimsuits clothes and an invite to a prestigious swim camp. Signing off till the 10th as we are going on vacation to see my great aunt who will be 100.
January 11th dear diary we didn't arrive home until after 3 this morning as we had major car trouble. And didn't leave there until after 4 yesterday afternoon and its an 11 hour drive. When we all got up mom asked us to meet her in the living room, she then told us that Madeline had her baby 2 months premature. He is doing well but we are taking care of little miss Olivia for the time being. This is fun for us we all love her to bits. They named the baby Samuel mark which was Ian's great grandfather who passed away last year name. Signing off for several weeks so I can help around here will write the beginning of march.
March 3rd dear diary baby Sammy got to come home just 2 days ago he like his daddy is deaf he looks like Ian but with Madeline and Olivia's face shape and high cheekbones. Their friends Reggie and Sam had their daughter grace Marie the 20th of last month. We have all been busy helping them out and attending to end of school year things. We finish school 3 weeks from tomorrow. And we leave for various camps the 1st of April for most of the summer. We will only be home the month of July so I will write when I can tty later diary.
