LeodredAQW: Glad to hear it. But we don't talk about Phase Four. Aside from NWH, it's essentially just badly written fanfiction where almost no character behaves in-character. All of them are pretty much entirely different characters who are somehow played by the same actors and called the same names, but they're not the same characters. Wanda clearly gets the worst of it, but you can also see this with Sam and Loki.

Avengers Compound, a year and seven months later

Night

It was quiet at night, most of the Avengers asleep. The only ones still awake were Natasha and Steve, who were sitting in the kitchen, talking. Then, the quiet of the night was pierced by the sound of blaring alarms, causing Steve and Natasha to jump up, looking around wildly.

"What's going on?" Steve asked as Natasha ran over to a panel, using it to try and assess the source of the alarm.

"Someone's in the compound. The alarm is coming from the armory, where Rhodey and Sam keep their gear," Natasha told him.

Not long after, Rhodey and Sam burst into the armory, stunned to see The Arrow standing in front of Rhodey's suit.

"You're a long way from Starling City," Sam pointed out.

The Arrow didn't respond, turning around but keeping his face pointed away from them.

"You picked the wrong house man. War Machine coming at you!" Rhodey shouted, bracing himself for his suit to come towards him but, to his surprise, nothing happened.

"Wasn't hard to scramble the signal on your suit. It's basically just a hunk of modern art now," The Arrow said coolly.

Sam and Rhodey then rushed him and The Arrow sprang into action. Whirling his bow like an Escirma stick, he used it to block their strikes before delivering a kick to Rhodey's chest that sent him falling to the ground. The Arrow then attempted to strike Sam with his bow but Sam grabbed it, stopping his strike. Rhodey then got back up, attempting to tackle The Arrow but The Arrow then elbowed him in the chest, sending him stumbling back before yanking his bow out of Sam's hands.

The three combatants were considering their next move when the doors burst open and the other four burst into the room. Wanda's hands glowed with red energy while Vision eyed the intruder with interest. Steve had his shield in hand while Natasha had two guns but the senior Avengers paused as they saw the intruder.

"Stand down, now," Steve ordered after a moment.

"Don't think that'll work Cap," Rhodey muttered.

"He was talking to all of you," Natasha said and four pairs of eyes turned to her and Steve in complete disbelief for a moment. "Just do it. Now."

After a few moments, Wanda lowered her hands, the energy fading from them as Sam and Rhodey stepped back, eying the intruder warily. Natasha then walked forward, putting her guns in a thigh holster.

"Been a while, Oliver," Natasha noted.

The others, with the exception of Steve, watched in disbelief as The Arrow lowered his hood to reveal the face of Oliver Queen.

"Oliver Queen is the Starling City Vigilante," Rhodey muttered.

"And she knew about this. Did you know about this too?" Sam asked Steve, who merely looked over at him with a slight smirk. "Never mind. Of course you did."

"Long time, Natasha," Oliver said, lowering his bow and Natasha nodded.

"Since after SHIELD fell."

"Mind explaining what you're doing here, Queen? Don't think it was to fight us," Steve noted and Oliver nodded.

"Part of it, but no, that's not why I came here. I need your help," Oliver said, to their surprise.

And I think you can all figure out what Oliver needs their help with.

Deathstroking/Building an army with a needle from the Arrow season 2 soundtrack plays.

Slade dons his helmet, becoming Deathstroke.

"They'll been calling him Deathstroke," Natasha said, bringing up an image of Slade in his armor.

Slade (VO): I am going to tear everything he cares about away from him. Destroy those who choose to follow him. Corrupt those he loves."

Various shots of Oliver's friends and loved ones are shown.

"Nothing is impossible with Slade," Oliver said grimly.

"So you know the Avengers," Felicity said as she looked at said group in a bit of awe.

"Oliver doesn't talk about his past," Diggle noted.

"He wouldn't," Natasha said blankly.

"There's only one way this can end kid!" Slade snarled as he and Oliver fought.

"No more half measures," Oliver said angrily as he faced his team.

Thea looks around in shock as Oliver reveals his lair to her.

"This is my fault, all of it," Oliver said in guilt.

"I've been waiting for you to snap out of this guilt spiral you've been in," Natasha told Oliver.

"I'm done playing your games," Oliver said to Slade.

"You're done when I say you're done!" Slade snarled.

Team Arrow and the Avengers fight off Mirakuru Soldiers.

Sam (VO): Whoever he used to be-

Years earlier, Oliver and Slade laughed as they trained.

Sam (VO): I don't think he's the kind of person you save. He's the kind you stop.

"Wilson's in your head and you're letting him win," Fury told Oliver.

"If they knew half of your time away, they'd all turn on you," Isabel Rochev mocked Oliver.

Oliver sat alone, a distressed look on his face.

"This has to stop Slade," Oliver pleaded while Slade merely smirked.

Moira cried out in horror as Thea was dragged away by Mirakuru soldiers.

An enraged Oliver grabbed Rochev by the throat as she laughed manically.

"He never told you?" Natasha asked Team Arrow.

Oliver was looking at Bobbi's picture with a forlorn look.

"I am going to end this. Once and for all," Oliver said a dark yet determined look on his face.

Steve fought an out of control Roy in the streets.

Planes fly over the city, blocking the exits.

"You would've fit right in with Hydra," Fury said on the phone angrily.

Oliver threw a flechette, which Malcolm Merlyn caught easily.

At ARGUS, Fury and Waller have a standoff, aiming guns at each other.

"I've been running from my past for so long, but I can't run anymore," Oliver said with a sigh.

"Just be careful that in trying to stop Slade, you don't become the monster," Moira told Oliver.

"You need all the help you can get," Malcolm told Oliver.

Slade stands surrounded by his army.

"You can't beat me Oliver," Malcolm said with a smirk.

"I know, but he can," Oliver said with his own smirk.

Malcolm turns around, seeing a man with a clenched fist. Three metal claws emerge from the man's fist. The screen goes black.

The title card then appears.
