here is chapter six! thank you to everyone who has left kudos, and commented! I really appreciate it. Please remember that I only have two more chapters after this that are already written. I'm also not sure what I want top have Rollan do in future chapters, so if there is anything in particular you want to see, let me know!

When they were done eating dinner, Lucette showed Rollan to a room at the top of a tower. In actuality, there were three rooms at the top of the stairs. A common room with couches and a fireplace was where the stairs ended. Then there were two other doors, one to the left and one to the right of the entry point, leading to rooms with two beds and wardrobes each. One of them had gray bedspreads with green patterns on them, and the other had solid green bedspreads. The common room had two windows to the north and the south, the other rooms having one window, facing east or west.
The reason that there were four beds, Rollan was told, was that this would be where the other of the four fallen summoners would be staying once they were found. The reason it was set up in rooms of two and two was that Lenori had said she had a vision of two girls and two boys with the Great Beasts.
Rollan was told he could take any of the four beds, then Lucette left the tower. Essix flew in through the window after having left while Rollan was still eating. Now she perched on the back of the single armchair facing the fireplace.
This was not what he had been expecting Greenhaven to be. Truth be told, he thought he would end up in a room that had multiple beds like how the orphanages had been set up. Instead he had a nice room that he, for the foreseeable future, would have to himself and a n extra room devoted entirely to being comfortable. It was more than he could have asked for.
By this time, the sun had long since sunk below the horizon, and the moon was nearly halfway across the sky. With that in mind, Rollan picked up his bedroll and the small bag of clothes that had been bought for him on the journey from Concorba and entered one of the bedrooms.
He chose the room that had the east facing window. It was dark in the room and Rollan threw his stuff on the floor and returned to the common room to grab one of the candles that was sitting on a small table next to one of the couches. Returning with the candle, Rollan was able to see the room he had chosen had the gray blankets on the beds.
After setting the candle on the small table in between the two beds and under the window, he grabbed his things from the floor and set them in the wardrobe immediately to his right after entering the room.
He took off his brown traveling cloak and hung it in the wardrobe before pulling back the blankets of the bed he chose. Essix then swooped in from the still open door and perched on the headboard of the bed.
Rollan pulled out a looser pair of pants and changed from the clothes he had been wearing all day and the entire journey. Throwing the dirty clothes in a pile near the wardrobe, Rollan got into bed and settled in. Essix tucked her head under her wing and promptly fell asleep.
Rollan himself was tired as well. In one day he had left his homeland, met more people who seemed to care about him, and arrived at Greenhaven. Though he was only wearing pants, and his chest was bare, Rollan had never slept better.
Rollan woke up slowly. Before he opened his eyes, he stretched and scrunched up his face. He had never woken so rested, and it took him a few minutes to remember that he was no longer on the streets, or in a crappy inn with old beds. He was in Greenhaven, where people cared about him.
Then he opened his eyes and looked at the room around him. The candle he had left burning the night before was out, drowned in its own wax. Essix was nowhere to be seen, though that wasn't surprising. When he had gone to sleep, there had been a heavy knitted blanket and a thinner one of the same size on the bed. Now the heavy blanket was piled on the floor at the end of the bed, only the thin one was left.
Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, Rollan got out of bed. Quickly digging through the yet unpacked bag in the wardrobe, he pulled out a (mostly) clean pair of pants and a shirt that had only one stain on it. Dressing, Rollan threw the pants he had worn for the night onto the bed and left the room.
Upon entering the common room, Rollan saw a piece of paper lying on the small table. Approaching it, he saw that it wasn't anything fancy, just a fair sized scrap of paper that had been used to write a note.
Rollan,
Please join me in the kitchens to get breakfast. Then Lucette and Lenori will show you around and let you explore Greenhaven.
-Tarik
Well, he wasn't going to say no to food. Taking the path Lucette had used to bring him to his tower, Rollan was able to find the dining room, and by extension, the kitchen. It was a good thing he had remembered the way he had been taken the previous night.
Tarik was waiting, just as the note said, in the kitchens with two plates in front of him. Both were full of food. Tarik had shaved since the previous night, and his hair had been trimmed. Overall, the man looked more put together than he had on the road.
"Rollan," he said in greeting, pushing one of the plates towards the chair next to him. "I'm glad you are up early. Would you like breakfast?"
He nodded eagerly and began eating, all but inhaling the food in front of him. He ate fast enough he didn't even taste what was on his plate. When he was done eating, he noticed that Lenori had joined him and Tarik at the table.
"Good morning, Rollan," she greeted him, a warm smile on her face. "Lucette and I are going to be showing you around Greenhaven today, though she says she will meet up with us later."
Rollan frowned. "Why isn't Lucette here now?" he asked.
Lenori shrugged. "She likes to sleep in, and I'm sure she and Nicolai stayed up late last night talking.
Tarik nodded with a soft snort of laughter. "That sounds like Lucette. But, Rollan, seeing as Lenori is here, I have a meeting with Olvan in ten minutes. You're in good hands, I will see you later today I'm sure." With that the older man stood up and left the room.
"So, where would you like to start?" Lenori asked.
