A/N:
I forgot to put Naruto's stats at the end of the chapter. Sorry about that. It'll be at the end of this chapter. Enjoy.
Disclaimer: I don't own the Naruto or Fate series.
As the cascade of light died down, it revealed the figure that stood at the centre of said light. Once, silver armour had changed into a glorious golden sheen as if woven from threads of heavenly radiance.
Yet, the most astonishing change of all was unveiled upon his back. Sprouting forth were a pair of majestic angelical wings, their feathers glistening like molten gold. They stretched outward with a sense of purpose, their presence commanding the attention of all who beheld them.
Jeanne's azure eyes widened at the scene before her, her heart skipping a beat as she took in the breathtaking sight.
It was as if a being of myth had stepped into reality, a divine emissary adorned in shining armour and majestic wings.
"Naruto..." Her voice was soft. "It's... breathtaking," Jeanne finally breathed, her voice carrying the weight of her admiration. "The light, the wings... It's as if you're an Angel..."
Naruto could only smile at her bewildered reaction. "As much as I would like to explain what just happened," his tone shifted, growing more serious, "we don't have much time. They are getting closer."
With a swift and fluid motion, he swept Jeanne into his arms, her startled yelp ringing in the air for an instant. Without hesitation, he initiated their departure, his wings unfurling with a graceful sweep, ascending into the night sky with effortless grace.
"Hold on," Naruto urged softly, his voice reassuringly. "Just point me in the direction of the city, and we'll be there before you know it."
Jeanne's heart raced as she extended her hands towards the distant horizon where the glow of Fuyuki city beckoned. Her gaze remained locked onto Naruto's face, his features illuminated by the ethereal radiance that his wings emitted.
The world around her became a blur of motion, a symphony of wind and speed as they soared through the night sky. Their passage painted a trail of radiant gold in the night sky.
Soon, they found themselves descending upon an empty nature park nestled in the heart of the city. Naruto's landing was an effortless grace, making it seem like he had been doing this his entire life.
Jeanne's senses reawakened from the trance-like state induced by their flight, and her feet met the ground once more as Naruto gently set her down.
Her gaze remained fixed on him, a myriad of questions dancing within her eyes. But before she could voice all of her questions, Naruto spoke. "Jeanne," he began, his azure eyes meeting her pair of similarly shaded eyes, "I understand that you must have many questions about what just happened, the wings, the armour, all of it. I get that, but I think it's best to save that discussion for another time when we are at a safe and more secure location."
Her lips parted, ready to protest, but no words came out. She knew Naruto's words spoke nothing but the truth. They were still potentially within the sights of other Masters and Servants. It wouldn't be wise to stay here.
"Very well," she conceded, her tone a mixture of disappointment and understanding. "I will hold off on my questions for now."
Naruto's smile was that of relief. "I promise I'll explain everything. But for now, let's find a safer place to talk."
With a casual snap of his fingers, Naruto's golden armour that once adorned him dissipated into ephemeral motes of light, and his wings, once a radiant display of otherworldly beauty, folded into his being, leaving no trace of their presence. The shift was seamless, leaving behind a young man now clad in dark jeans with a simple orange t-shirt.
Naruto's expression remained earnest as he gestured toward the cityscape before them. "Shall we, Jeanne? I believe there's much to discuss and plan for."
Jeanne, finally snaps out from her astonishment by Naruto's seamless transformation, nodded in agreement. "Yes. It would be wise to find a suitable place to stay for the night. Maybe a hotel would offer the privacy we need."
As they began their leisurely stroll through the city, Naruto's gaze wandered, captivated by the vibrant atmosphere of the modern world that surrounded them. Even under the night sky, Fuyuki City buzzed with life, its streets illuminated by the warm glow of streetlights and the neon signs of businesses. Pedestrians passed by, their footsteps and laughter mingling with the distant hum of traffic.
For Naruto, who had been gifted with knowledge of the modern era, witnessing this bustling city firsthand was completely different.
"It's incredible," Naruto mused aloud, his voice carrying a note of wonder. "I've heard about the modern world, but seeing it like this… It's something else." His gaze swept across the city.
Jeanne's smile was gentle, a reflection of his amazement. "Indeed. The modern world has its own charm. As a Servant, I possess knowledge of this era, but being here in the midst of it is a unique experience."
Their footsteps carried them further until they stumbled upon a building that stood out from its surroundings, a hotel.
Naruto's expression lit up. "Ah, perfect! A hotel!." His obliviousness to the particular nature of this hotel was evident.
Jeanne's cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, her eyes widening as she realized the nature of the hotel they had come across. She cast a quick glance toward Naruto, who remained blissfully unaware.
As they stood before the entrance, Jeanne's voice was a touch breathless. "N-Naruto, perhaps we should… consider finding another hotel. This one seems to be, um, not quite suitable."
Naruto turned to her, and his brows furrowed in confusion. "Huh? What do you mean, Jeanne?"
Her blush deepened as she gestured discreetly at the sign hanging above the entrance, the words "Love Hotel" illuminated in bold letters. "It's a love hotel, Naruto."
Realization dawned on Naruto's features, and his own cheeks reddened slightly as he scratched his head sheepishly. "Oh! Right, my bad. We should find another place, then?"
She took a moment to weigh her options which she realized weren't many, her embarrassment evident in how her fingers nervously toyed with the edge of her white dress.
"N-Naruto," she began, her voice a hesitant tone, "while it's true that this establishment might not be the most suitable, we should also consider that there might not be many available options in this part of the city at this hour." Her gaze flickered to the ground momentarily.
Naruto's brows furrowed as he pondered her words, his lips forming a thoughtful line. "I see what you mean, Jeanne. We don't want to spend the entire night searching for a hotel, especially if there aren't many choices around." He scratched his head, a sheepish smile gracing his features. "Alright then, let's just go in and see if they have any available rooms. We can always leave if it's too… uncomfortable."
Steeling themselves for the awkwardness of the situation, they entered the hotel, the interior bathed in soft, dim lighting that lent an air of intimacy to the atmosphere. This was definitely a love hotel.
Jeanne's heart raced in her chest as they approached the front desk, her cheeks faintly flushed out of embarrassment.
Behind the counter stood a young brunette woman. She looked up as they approached, her gaze immediately locking onto Naruto. Her lips curved into a playful smile, her cheeks taking on a rosy hue.
"Hello there," she greeted, her voice carrying a hint of flirtatiousness. "How can I help you tonight?"
Naruto returned the greeting with a friendly smile. "Hey! So uh, we're kind of looking for a room for the night. Could you help us out?"
The woman's gaze flickered to Jeanne for a moment before she leaned in slightly, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Oh, you've got quite the catch there, sweetie. A real hunk." She winked at Jeanne teasingly.
Jeanne's eyes widened in surprise at the woman's words, her blush deepening even further. She wasn't prepared for this kind of playful banter, especially not in such a misunderstood situation. "I-I, um, thank you." She could do nothing but play along, too embarrassed to even attempt to correct her.
The woman's laughter was playful, her eyes shifting back to Naruto. "Of course, handsome. We do have some rooms available. Let me check for you." She turned her attention to the computer screen, her fingers tapping away.
Naruto, utterly oblivious to the conversation, only smiled and waited patiently.
After a moment, the woman looked back up with a grin. "Alright, I've got a nice room for you two. It's not too fancy, but it's cozy and perfect for a good night's rest."
Naruto nodded appreciatively. "Sounds great! We're not really looking for anything extravagant, just a place to stay for the night."
Jeanne agreed, her voice a touch shy. "Yes, that should be more than suitable."
The woman handed them a keycard with a wink. "Enjoy your stay, you two. And don't hesitate to ask if you need anything." Her eyes flicked towards Jeanne again, her tone suggestive. "Especially you, hun."
Jeanne's blush intensified, she could only manage a nod. "Th-thank you."
With their keycard in hand, Naruto and Jeanne made their way to their room. They walked down the hall in awkward silence.
Finally seeing their room number, they opened the door to their room; a simple yet comfortable space greeted them, It had basic necessities, and as a bonus, they had a lovely good view of the city. Then their eyes fell upon the centrepiece of the room, a single Queen bed.
Jeanne's heart raced as the implications of the single bed settled in, her cheeks aflame with shyness. She opened her mouth to speak, her voice becoming a delicate whisper. "N-Naruto…"
Naruto, catching on to her hesitation, turned to her. "Yeah, Jeanne?"
She gathered her courage to speak, her eyes meeting his. "It's alright if we… share the bed. There's no need for you to sleep on the floor."
Surprise flickered across Naruto's features. He had been on the brink of suggesting sleeping on the floor. He quickly nodded, his expression appreciative. "Oh, okay then. If you're sure."
A sudden awkward silence enveloped them.
As they closed the door behind them, Jeanne gracefully settled herself on one side of the queen-sized bed, and across from her, Naruto mirrored her actions.
"Naruto," Jeanne began, breaking the silence that seemed to have envelope them earlier. "What was that earlier? Your armour, once a mantle of silver, was turned into gold. And your wings…"
She wanted to continue but was met with Naruto's soft voice as he gently interrupted her. "Ah, yes… A gift, bestowed upon me as a manifestation of the Heavenly Father's Blessing," he began, "I often refer to it as a 'Divine Blessing,' for that is truly what it is, a blessing directly from God."
Jeanne's eyes widened at the revelation. Her heart, firmly rooted in her Christian beliefs, seemed to beat with fervour. "Naruto," she started, her gaze unwavering, "I have read your tales as a child, stories that strengthened my faith in God. But never, in all those cherished works of literature, have I heard anything as amazing as this."
In Naruto's eyes, he could see the fire of faith burning brightly within Jeanne, He was humbled by her words, touched by the genuine reverence she held for him. It was a sentiment he hadn't expected, given the often inaccurately depicted tales about him; one striking inaccuracy depicted him meeting a valorous end on the battlefield. The reality was harsher, a demise brought about by betrayal, an assassination perpetrated by one of his own knights during the second crusade.
The irony wasn't lost on him. His thoughts were laced with a hint of sarcasm. 'An honourable end,' he mused inwardly.
Naruto sighed softly, his gaze fixated on Jeanne, "Well, Jeanne," he began thoughtfully, "there is a difference between legends and reality. Legends are often created from threads of hearsay and exaggerations, creating a story that deviates from the core truths of an individual's life. As for my Divine Blessing, it remains something never witnessed." He concluded as he glanced at the clock on the wall across them.
Naruto looked back at Jeanne and offered a soft smile, his gaze tender as he regarded Jeanne. "It's getting late. I believe it would be best to continue this conversation when we get an opportunity without the time constraint."
Jeanne took one slight glance at the clock and saw that it was getting late, "You're right," she conceded, a trace of disappointment evident in her voice. "We should rest for now and continue this next time we get the chance."
With a mutual understanding, they began to prepare for sleep.
Naruto laid down on his side of the bed facing the opposite direction from Jeanne. Jeanne doing the same, mirroring him.
As the two settled onto the bed, exhaustion began to claim them, even forgetting to change into a more appropriate sleepwear.
"Goodnight, Jeanne." He said softly, tiredness evident in his voice.
"Goodnight, Naruto." Jeanne softly responded.
And with that, the realm of dreams claimed them.
(Meanwhile, somewhere in Fuyuki city)
A woman can be seen perched atop a towering building. Her long, golden locks cascaded down her back. Her attire was an ensemble of extravagance, adorned with regal jewels and fabrics.
Her crimson red gaze fixed on the direction where she last felt his presence, her lips curving into a manic smile that reeked of obsession and longing.
"Soon, my love," her voice was sultry, yet bordered on the edge of madness. "You will be mine, my priceless treasure."

Oooh, who could that be? Well, it should be pretty obvious...
I just feel like the need to clarify this as people may get confused. Naruto and Jeanne are from different periods of history (it should be pretty obvious as I basically hinted this in the first chapter). They are almost 300 years apart. Second crusade to Jeanne's birth.
Anyways, onto 'Divine Blessing'. It is a state that boosts Naruto's stats and allows him to use other abilities like his pair of Angelic wings which increases his mobility. In a way you could say that his 'Divine Blessing' turns him into an Angel (though not literally).
Future chapters will attempt to touch more on his legend to explain 'Divine Blessing' and many more.
And now, onto the stats:
