"I tell you, Sif, he will have no server but you. Come now, what is it you are so afraid of?"

Thor regretted his choice of words in a second, suddenly finding his arm held firmly up his own back by his oldest and dearest friend.

"It is not fear that keeps me from my approach," she said definitely, casting her eyes across the tables of the coffeehouse.

The young man they spoke of was over in the corner, long dark hair obscuring his face, until a seemingly nervous habit made him push it aside.

Certainly, he was no hardship to look upon, that much Sif would admit.

"I may have seen him before..."

"I should think that you have." Thor used her moment of distraction to twist out of her grip. "He has been visiting the place every week for months now, just for a chance to speak with you, so I have been told. I believe he has seen you at your dance and self-defence classes at the college and, shall we say, appreciates the view."

Sif smiled. "Then he also knows what I am capable of."

"And still, he tries his luck, foolish scamp." Thor smirked, putting Sif's order pad and pencil into her hands and nudging her forward. "Go now, boss' orders."

"You are only the boss of Odin's when your father retires," she reminded him, but went anyway, approaching the guy at the corner table. "Hello. I am Sif."

"I know. Oh, I'm Bucky," he told her, with a charming yet bashful smile. "I was actually hoping to talk with you today. Uh, what time do you finish here?"

"Not until six o'clock. Can you wait that long?"

Bucky nodded his head and smiled wider. "For you? I have all the time in the world.'"
