"Hello, Jack," Neville said cheerfully.

Jack looked at Neville, dressed in purple robes and thought what a commanding figure he made. He remembered that the headmaster was tall, but in full regalia, he seemed invincible. "Hello headmaster," Jack said with a smile. "Have you come to rescue Sam and I again?"

"So you do have your memories," Neville said as he turned to look at Pansy who was coming up the hall behind him. "Wonderful, this will help our case."

Pansy came up to give Jack a hug, and he pulled her close and kept her there. "I'm glad you're back," he said quietly. "I don't like you leaving me." He looked at the doctor who was still frozen in place, though his eyes were moving in his sockets. "Is he ok?" Jack asked.

"Just a spell," Pansy said casually. "Let's get Sam out of here. We have another stop to make."

While Neville released Dr. Finch-Fletchley, Pansy entered Sam's room where she was already getting dressed.

"I heard that loud voice," Sam said. "What's going on?"

Pansy said, "We are here to check you out." Pansy waved her wand and all of Sam's belongings flew through the air and tucked themselves in her backpack. "We need to get you back to Hogwarts right away."

"I will not stand for this, Neville," Justin said. Although he had been a member of Dumbledore's Army with Harry and Neville, he had none of their celebrity after the war. He was an accomplished healer, but he'd retreated into his medical practice, lost connections with his old school mates, and like the current Minister of Magic, Percy Weasley, was a stickler for protocol. In this case the protocol was that these muggles needed to have their memories wiped to protect the magical world and there was nothing that could convince him otherwise. "You have no authority here and I am in charge of this patient," Justin said pointing at Sam as she and Pansy entered the hallway. "Get security," Justin said to an orderly who was standing awkwardly in the hall. "Tell them that there is a group of people taking a patient out against Dr. Finch-Fletchley's orders."

"Justin, please," Pansy said. "She doesn't need to have her memories erased. She just needed to get the ones that she had sorted out. You helped her, now please let us go."

"I'll do nothing of the sort," Justin said. "I'll have you three taken into custody by the Aurors, and you two," he said, pointing at Jack and Sam, "I'll erase your memories personally. You do not belong in our world."

He looked at Pansy, and she recognized that expression. It was one that she'e seen in her own parents' faces. Disgust for muggles and even more for mixed relationships. There was an entire class of wizards that focused on keeping the two worlds and the bloodlines separate. She never thought that Justin, a Hufflepuff, would discriminate against anyone, but perhaps his own self-imposed solitude, or whomever he associated with now had changed his views. Pansy felt that there was a societal divide between those that hated muggles and those that were tolerant. It had been driven by Percy, in an anti-muggle fervor. Perhaps it was Percy's father that caused it. He'd been infatuated with muggles, and Percy seemed to do everything that was the opposite of his father. The professors at Hogwarts were split, and if Pansy had spent any free time talking to them, she would have had to admit that she didn't mind muggles that much, and the more time she spent around wizards, the more she thought about joining the muggle world. If she had money or friends, she would have traveled and visited non-wizarding parts of the world and met new people. People just like Jack. She was surprised at how much she cared about him after such a short time. She'd been alone for so long, she didn't think that she'd find someone that felt so right. "Well, you had your chance," Pansy said as she casually flicked her wand and he froze again. "Good luck," she said to Neville as she took Jack and Sam's hands and turned on the spot, apparating them away just as security entered the hallway.

"Oh good, you're here," Neville said sarcastically as he released Dr. Finch-Fletchley for the second time.

"Arrest him!" Justin shouted.

Neville allowed the guards to take him and smiled as he said, "Let's go see the Minister."
