In the midst of capturing a magical creature, Merlin is transported to a world where Camelot is home to thousands of magic-users. Merlin plans to get back to his own reality. To do that, however, he must get inside the castle. The only way in is to pass the Apprentice Exam and be an apprentice to a magic-user inside Camelot court. Should be easy...right? On the way home from Camlann and the shores of Avalon, Arthur is admonished to give attention to one remaining danger. Arthur then embarks upon the quest to right wrongs and repair the soul behind the smile.

Merlyn's mother dies the day she's born. She's raised in a castle by her noble father. She strives to prove herself to him, show that she's capable of doing anything. But nothing ever works. So she runs away to Camelot in the hopes of becoming a knight. If she can succeed, her father will surely love her then. She'll make him proud.
