Arthur and Merlin have returned to Camelot after months of secretly serving King Leodogran of Cameliard, who permits magic and is thus Uther's enemy. However, Blaise, Leodogran's physician, and a sorcerer, has arrived to fulfill an obligation to a Priestess. At the same time, Alvarr infiltrates Camelot, seeking a powerful spell.
