Years after the fall of King Arthur, Merlin is walking down the street and feels as if he is being watched by a magical presence. After meeting, they tell Merlin about the magic deep within the surface of Camelot as well as lead him to a whole new generation of Camelot. T for violence.

Alternate ending for the Merlin finale, 5x13 (The Diamond of the Day Pt 2). Focus on Merlin's POV and his emotions in the aftermath of things; trying to tie up ends the show left hanging loose and to provide a more satisfactory, unrushed conclusion than what the writers gave us. Spoilers for 5x13, naturally. Fair amount of angst and hurt/comfort. Can Merlin save his friend?

UPDATED: MAY 2018. His magic is positively screaming, unable to withstand the thought of Arthur being hurt, of failing to keep him safe. He knows the consequences, but he won't be able to live with himself if Arthur gets tortured because of him. Not if he can stop it. Hurt!Merlin, Gen, H/C.

With Merlin and Morgana safely in Drugonia, the preparations for their wedding can begin. Back in Camelot, Arthur is getting ready for his trip to Drugonia to bring Morgana back safely. Just maybe he doesn't believe that all magic is evil like his father told him. Why would Merlin save Morgana if magic was evil? Sequel to The Dragon's Choice.

Trees in Camelot lost their branches all the time, it was almost like Autumn but instead of leaves falling it was branches. Gwaine is convinced that the trees in Camelot are their allies, why else would they only drop their branches on the enemies heads.

Based on this prompt by Maria/Luna ( "I'm a poet and I wrote a bunch of erotic poems about you, the lord of this city, as a joke, but then I got drunk and lost them somewhere, if you see them I'm dead oh shit." Merlin has woken up with a hangover and a minor case of alcohol induced amnesia. He need to find out what happened last night and fast.

Arthur noticed Merlin was acting a bit odd, but he hadn't expected him to sneak out in the middle of the night. He follows him, naturally, and discovers something soul shattering residing in a lake.

"Alright kitling come here, time to settle down. A bedtime story? Aren't you too old for that? Really, only one? I thought for certain you were at least two decades by now. Time is so much harder to keep track of after your twentieth century. Yes I am old, and you are impertinent. Now be quiet and I'll tell you the story of how the Great Dragon escaped from the Ruthless King."

"Sleep gently, my friend, for I am here." Merlin knew at once that something tragic had happened, and it was through his pain that he got to see his friend one last time.

"Any warlock that sets foot anywhere near you will not only have their powers taken – their soul will surely be damned." Uther gives Arthur a necklace that is said to bind a magic-user's soul to some kind of hell, and unknowingly, Merlin becomes the victim that Arthur has condemned. NO SLASH.

Arthur couldn't shake the overwhelming feeling of wrong from his reoccurring dreams and it didn't help that they were starting to bleed into his waking moments.
