During a routine scouting mission Shepard finds her ship invaded by the alien species. In a matter of minutes her crew are dead or dying, the Normandy is on fire, and she is being captured by an alien with strange, blue face tattoos.

ME2: Just after the mission on Horizon, Shepard struggles to make peace with how things have changed in the two years since his death. Fortunately, he has his friends to help him.

When Shepard wakes up, are the Reapers defeated? What happens if control or synthesis is chosen? What happens to the characters we all love afterwards? I hope to answer these questions in these two chapters.
