Shepard activated the crucible but it didn't have the effect everyone thought it would. Instead it sent him back in time and space to begin the fight during the hunt for the rouge specter so he could start to the fight and prepare for the reapers earlier. AU universe (up for adoption)

Post Mass Effect 3. Kaidan after, and during, Shepard's second death, until his own end. This Kaidan was romanced twice, and this (faithful) Shepard is a version of my Agatha, but this doesn't tie to any of my other stories.
