A story of how a servant came to care for his prince. It takes roughly five days for Merlin to go from loathing Arthur Pendragon to tolerating him, and another two hundred sixteen to become vaguely fond of his existence. After three hundred thirty four days, he even starts to care what happens to him, and it only goes up from there. No slash.

It is Merlin's Senior Year and after all the hell he has been through maybe, just maybe, a certain blonde, blue eyed soul from a different school will make all the tears he has weep and all the fighting he has done to push on living worth it.

Arthur and Merlin are trapped with no means of escape. Merlin is injured and struggles to control himself as a past trauma comes back to haunt him.

There's a difference between knowing and remembering. Arthur knows that a thousand years ago, he was a king. He knows he had a queen, had knights, had a warlock. But he doesn't remember them. And they don't remember him. Which, in Merlin's case, turns out to be quite the issue.
