The second of my Merlin endings. I hope this one meets your expectations.

Merlin gets caught by slave traders. Angst and Whump! GWAINE! (Because we all know he rocks). I don't own. T 'cause whump. No slash! UPDATE! I'm sort-of rewriting this because I hate the ending. So there will be a better, longer version up soon. Probably.

The world remembered the legend. Merlin was beginning to forget the man. Thousands of years later, Merlin is still waiting, but he is beginning to wonder if Arthur will ever actually come back to him. Post-finale reincarnation fic. Angst, but with a happy ending.

The second of two short stories, both look at alternate endings to the BBC legend - Merlin refuses to accept Arthur's death and, through a foreshadowing deal with the Sidhe, defies the will of Fate. Perhaps, sometimes it is arrogant to believe we can change Fate...but occasionally...we succeed.

Merlin stumbles upon Arthur in his bedroom, and the situation from there turns...shall we say... lovingly awkward. I know the scenario of Merlin barging into awkward situations is fairly common, but just give it a chance. :D

A month after Camlann, Gwen knows something's wrong. She even has an idea of what it is that's been bothering her lately. She doesn't want to confirm her suspicions, but at the same time, she needs to know. Set post S5. Spoilers for 5x13. I know the summary's short but please read and review.

When things get too hard to cope with in the life of an immortal, Merlin sometimes drowns himself in the Lake of Avalon, just for a chance to hear his voice or feel his arms around him once more. He has to, because he has no choice. Arthur broke his promise, Arthur never rose again. Merlin needs him. (T for multiple suicide attempts)

Merlin has always stayed by Arthur's side, going where the king would have him, for destiny had dealt the two as one. But in death, Merlin could not follow. What choice then remains, but for Arthur to return? Destiny can be for only so long denied. Occurs post-5x13.

The King of Camelot has fallen. When he is given his funeral amoung the lake of Avalon Arthur Pendragon is given another chance to say goodbye to his old friend, along with another who cares of Merlin just as much as Arthur does. (lame summary, but its better i promise.) I DO NOT OWN MERLIN! Enjoy.

Au début, sa présence seule te suffisait. Tu était auprès de lui, et ça allait. Il te manquait, quand il partait en campagne, mais c'était négligeable, car la plupart du temps, il ne partait pas sans toi.

Summer has neared it's end and the rain clouds have opened above Camelot. Merlin has an accident involving some spilt water and injures himself in his clumsy ways. Merlin Whump, No slash, Good Ole Protective Knights and Arthur. Two shot.

Stems directly from Diamond of the Day part 2: Merlin's thoughts while Arthur is dying and after he dies. Canon is slightly tweaked to what should have happened, though it doesn't change anything else so it's not really an AU. And for the rest of it, there's no proof it never happened. It's more or less the true ending to the great love story between Merlin and Arthur.

Words failed him for the longest of moments. And when he finally spoke, it was as if he were just the tiny boy that had been saved by the Prince all those years ago. 'Emrys... I- I can't take this.'
