A/N: so bit of a random post which could eventually turn into a somewhat multi chapter #Carter fanfic. I have always been a fan of Carla Connor (now Barlow) since as far back as I can remember (and I'm talking about the Liam/Maria/Carla storyline from way back when). I have somewhat vivid memories of everything that has happened over the years but have not kept up to date on absolutely everything. I've started watching Coronation Street from the beginning of 2011 (just after the tram crash). I remember that year so well and I have literally binge watching every chance I get recently in order to catch up on the past 6/7 years or so…I didn't realise I had missed so much!
Ok, so I'm going to get to the point here. I've come up with a bit of an A/U for a Carla Connor and Peter Barlow romance/family/drama fanfic. It will be starting from early/mid 2011 and in the beginning, Carla may seem pretty OOC but I promise I have tried to capture her personality to the best of my abilities…she is a pretty complex character after all. The story may seem far fetched at first but I hope that I've tried to write it as realistically as possible by playing about with some recent and not so recent storylines but from an OC's perspective.
If anyone is interested please let me know. This story does include and OC (I have named this character after myself as I was just a bit lazy when deciding on a name) which I have tried to make interesting so I would love to hear people's thoughts! Leave your opinions in the reviews of this ridiculously long A/N. It may take a few days for the actual first chapter to appear (or not) based on the feedback I receive.
