Chapter 1: I'm Free!
"Gahhh!" yelled a blonde boy, as he'd just been hit by a red beam. He squirmed and convulsed for several moments, before finally coming to a rest.
"Ron!" someone yelled in the background, his head throbbing from the sudden noise.
'Why is that person yelling?' Ron was feeling great- No, better than great! He was feeling amazing! If anything, it was that blasted hollering that was hurting him. "I'm fine!" he shouted back, if only to keep whoever it was quiet.
Glancing in front of him, Ron noticed an odd but familiar-looking helmet resting next to his legs. A woman with a very distinctive appearance happened to be standing in front of him.
"You were foolish to ever think you could stand up to me! If the entirety of Team Go couldn't… what could a lowly sidekick ever hope to do?" she mocked. The woman was wearing an odd bodysuit, colored completely in black with the exception of a handful of bright blue lines superimposed on it. The pattern they made gave off the impression of an electrical circuit. Her hair was dark blue and completely standing up, the strands crackling with electricity. She wore white goggles on her face to protect her eyes, but they did nothing to hide her predatory expression.
Ron instantly recalled where he was and what he was doing… His eyes locked onto the older woman and he sneered at her, shooting back his own menacing glare. 'Just a sidekick?' His blood began to boil, Ron got up from the floor. 'I'm going to enjoy making her scream in pain, before I REALLY make her sorry…' he vowed, a plan already forming in his head.
"Ron, are you ok?!" called out a familiar voice, prompting the blonde boy to turn around. He only now noticed that both he and his future victim were standing on a walkway, above what seemed like an abandoned factory of some kind. That, and they weren't alone. He finally saw her… The one who'd called him, over and over… 'Kim Possible'. The name never passed his lips, but ran strong through his mind. The same girl who had foiled his plans the last time! The only one who could truly stand in his way and interrupt his scheme! And… his current girlfriend.
The mere thought made him cringe, as the only thing he wanted to give her now was the sweet punishment that she so richly deserved. …and now, it was time for him to get even.
Suddenly, Ron's instincts kicked in. He jumped out of the way, a bolt of lightning impacting where he'd been standing not a second earlier.
"Well… you can move pretty fast, for a sidekick… Makes it more amusing for me…" the woman spoke up once more.
'She really IS eager for humiliation…' Ron was ready to move forward and end the woman when he noticed what she was holding, it was that very same helmet he'd seen before. It was then that his brain finally kicked into gear, he knew where he was.
He remembered it all… The mission he had… Shego and Team Go… …and with that, Kim Possible…
'That helmet… changed me… to my real self…' the boy concluded. He glanced at his own hands. 'I'm finally free of that buffoonery, I finally have another chance to achieve my ultimate goal!' Ron was ready to make himself known, to demolish anyone who stood in his way. That is, that WAS the plan until he noticed the still very-functional helmet. While it HAD freed him, it could also become his downfall at a moment's notice. Worse still, it was currently firmly in the grasp of the woman standing in his way.
The obvious solution for most, if not all, problems is the simplest one. There's someone in your way? Just dispose of them… Quite easy, but sadly that wasn't an option at this time. After all, he wasn't alone at the moment.
'Possible is still keeping an eye on me…' he realized. Ron redirected his gaze back towards his aggressor, there was only one way this was going to work. 'If I rush her, I'd be able to take her out in a hurry. But, that also makes it pretty likely for me to be hit… Not to mention that Possible would see me…' That was the very last thing he wanted to have happen, as it would pretty much mean the end of his clarity. She'd be certain to turn him back into his buffoon-like persona, thereby ruining this opportunity.
"I'm okay! Just worry about Team Go!" the blonde teen responded, a bit of a quaver to his voice. He sounded odd - to say the least - but that could also be mistakenly attributed to adrenaline, or fear.
The redheaded teen nodded, if a little reluctantly, and went back to dealing with the rest of Team Go. She'd be fine dealing with those idiots, even without Miss Go's help. That left the blonde teen to focus on the first enemy in the way of his new plan. It took him a moment to remember her name, as well as recall her skills and attacks. In the past she'd had a difficult time hitting him, every one of her moves required her to standing still to use them.
'It'll be easy to jump around her and knock her out…' he thought for a moment, before glancing towards the device in her hands. 'I can deal with her attacks, but that thing…' He needed to pay close attention to it.
"What's the matter, Sidekick? Having second thoughts about sending away your help?" the woman mocked, she moved closer. "It's okay if you want to run away… After all, having to dispose of a cute little thing like you would be such a shame…" Said older woman licked her lips.
He was certain that his buffoonish alter-ego would have been screaming up a storm, running away scared as he called for Possible's help. The villainess was thinking along similar lines, as the last thing she'd expected was for him to smirk at her in response. "Now, why would I do something as silly as that?" he asked in a husky tone, slowly approaching her. "Seeing someone like you right in front of me… the last thing on my mind is running away…"
The older woman looked quite confused, taking a step back and getting ready to repel an attack.
'She's a clever one… Probably learned it the hard way, at some point…' That was proving to be a bit troublesome for him, as he'd been planning to take her out the second she let her guard down. Oh well, he still had plenty of options since Possible wasn't around at the moment. "Easy there… All I wanted to do was get a closer look at you…if you'll let me?" he prompted, presenting his hands to emphasize that he wasn't armed. That did seem to put her at ease, as she lowered her stance.
"Now… if I may?" he asked, she stared at him with one raised eyebrow.
"You better not be planning anything!" she hissed through her teeth, but still allowed him to move closer.
'The only reason she's even giving me this chance is most likely because I'm still seen as just the sidekick. If I was Shego, or Possible, she would have never let it slide… How ignorant of her…' He offered her a smile. "Me? Doing something to you? Like I could actually hurt you…" He stalked around her, looking her over but keeping a firm eye on her hands.
"I didn't think you even knew of me, or Team Go… I'm actually a little surprised…" the woman confessed, keeping a firm grip on the device.
'Damn it… still keeping it safe…' The blonde boy quickly recovered from his fuming. "Oh, I do know of Team Go, but only because I was keeping an eye on someone very interesting…" He moved even closer to her.
"Oh? And, pray tell, who was it?" the older woman asked, smirking. She clearly assumed it was most likely one of the heroes of Team Go. Or Shego herself, as she was a main interest to many boys his age (for obvious reasons).
"It was you…" the boy replied. He crept behind Electronique, standing directly behind her and whispering in her ear, making sure that his darling 'girlfriend' was out of earshot. Ron instantly noticed the stiffness that had entered the villainess posture at his "admission". 'Was it THAT surprising?' he wondered. In reality, he may have heard about her at one point as a side-note of Team Go's escapades. Even then, only because Wade had mentioned her in front of himself and Possible. "I've been paying close attention to you, waiting for the chance to meet you in person…" The blonde teen moved even closer to her back. "But, sadly… you seem to only operate in Go City…"
Ron approached even nearer than before, his lips were inches away from her neck. His eyes glanced to her hand, the infernal device still intact and firmly in her grasp. The blonde felt that he may have gotten a bit closer than he'd intended when he felt his front press against the older woman's very developed ass. It was surprisingly soft, mashed against his manhood. 'Damn it! I'll have to move quickly, before she attacks!' he fretted. Just as he was about to switch to Plan B, he noticed something very interesting. Said woman wasn't moving at all… though she had noticed his faux pas, glancing back at him from the corner of her eye.
'Could I maybe…?' Ron wondered. His right hand moved up, traveling from the woman's side to her stomach. She flinched, but didn't say anything. 'Well now…' he smirked, his palm stopping on her stomach and very slowly pulling her closer to himself.
"Ah…" A soft, extremely weak moan escaped from between her lips. She looked embarrassed, her ears shifting to a little darker shade than before.
"I was thinking about when I'd finally be able to meet you… and how much I'd enjoy… getting to know you…" His husky voice echoed in her mind, she trembled once more. "You're so much better than Shego…" His words seemed to hit a nerve, and definitely not in a bad way. "She's weak and worthless next to you. …so much more powerful and attractive…" He smirked, his plan coming to fruition.
Said villainess shook in his embrace, her body moving on its own accord. Electronique pressed against him even harder than before, grinding her rear against his pelvis.
It was then that Ron spotted an unwelcome interruption approaching. 'Such a shame, just when things were getting interesting. I knew that she'd get in my way…' Ron groused, very slowly moving away. He let go of the woman's stomach, noting her obvious disappointment. The blonde gave her rear a small rub before moving back completely.
"Ron, are you okay?!" Kim shouted. She fired her grappling hook, hoisting herself to the same level as the pair. Said heroine was joined by their new teacher.
"Yeah, I'm fine…" he responded, his eyes carefully trained on the villainess still in front of him. Electronique seemed to be in a daze. "What about Team Go?"
"We dealt with them, now all that's left is her." Kim sprang forward, followed by an uncomfortable Shego. Now that she was good, the former villainess was having serious issues with hurting other people.
'Just another thing that blasted device did…' he fumed, before smirking slightly. 'Well, not that it matters now…' He looked on, as both Kim and Shego made short work of the woman who'd started this whole series of events.
X-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-X
"Another job well done!" exclaimed the blonde teen, attempting to make himself sound as close to his buffoonish persona as possible.
"Ron… I wouldn't really call that mission a job well done…" his girlfriend chided, a bit of annoyance in her tone.
"Why not? We recovered the device, managed to stop the turned Team Go, stopped that blue woman…" he answered in a relaxed tone, despite knowing full-well what her issue was.
Kim just stared at him for a few moments, before sighing. "Ron… we stopped Team Go by knocking them out completely… And even if we did stop Electronique, she still managed to escape… As far as recovering the device? If I recall, someone dropped it and it broke…" She glared at him.
'Well… she isn't wrong…' The blonde boy had dropped it, just a little too strongly too. It shattered completely, into a dozen or so pieces, before those had been disintegrated by an angry Shego. The green-skinned woman had been zapped back to her former self when the device had been smashed. Ron couldn't argue with her response, he most likely would have done the same thing. "That still doesn't change the fact that we did save the day, right?" He smiled as best he could. So much so, that he wanted to puke his guts out.
"I guess…" she huffed in response. "And, by the way… are you okay? You look a bit… odd" the redhead asked, glancing at him again.
"Yeah, I'm fine…" He thought for a moment. "A bit hungry, but that's about it" he added, guessing at what his counterpart would have said in this situation.
A big smile graced the redhead's face, as his answer had pleased her. "Well, if that's the case, then how about we go and grab some lunch… my treat?" the girl encouraged, moving to grab his arm.
'Oh boy! Some of that Bueno Nacho garbage?' The blonde couldn't help but grimace for a moment at the thought of actually eating that foul stuff, if only to keep his cover intact. "Oh Yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about! Just let me grab some stuff, I'll meet you at the entrance!" the boy enthused. 'Please don't be clingy' he chanted in his mind.
"You bet! Now, don't keep me waiting!" Possible teased, moving down the hall.
Ron huffed in annoyance alone next to his locker. Thankfully, it didn't have a direct link to Wade. He breathed out in relief, looking for something very important in his locker.
"Well… so nice to see that even a loser like you can barely stand being near Possible. I would have said that you wised up, but then I remembered who I was talking about…" the familiar and mocking voice of Kim's brunette rival sniped from behind him.
"Bonnie… I don't have time for you today. As you can see, Kim's not here. So, why not save us both the hassle, walk away and practice swinging your pompoms around?" he directed at the girl behind him, clearly unimpressed. He didn't have time for the two girls' pointless squabble, he had far more important things to attend to.
"Wha- Excuse me?! What did you just say to me, Loser?!" the brunette cheerleader demanded in anger, grabbing his shoulder.
Ron simply turned to face the girl brave enough to lay a hand on him. He noted that they were pretty much the only people around at the moment, as it had been pretty late in the day when Team Possible had returned. Ron's eyes opened wide at the sight of her. The brunette was still in her cheerleading outfit and looked to be slightly panting, from either practice or perhaps a hot shower she'd just had. His eyes glanced down, unable to resist marveling at the sight of the girl who always seemed like forbidden fruit to his buffoon-self.
"I asked you a question, you loser-" The brunette cut off upon finding herself pinned to the boy's locker, without even knowing what exactly had happened. The only thing she could see was the blonde's face, extremely close to her own… Nearer than she'd ever thought she'd allow, actually. His arm was leaning against the locker right next to her head, his body a few inches away from touching her own. Her eyes widened, she couldn't help but stare at his piercing brown orbs. They seemed so… different.
"You know… I'm really starting to get annoyed by that little nickname you came up with… It's like if I called you "Bitch", every time I saw you. Even if you are one, that's still pretty rude." He stared at her body, from top to bottom. "And it would be such a shame, if I were to get annoyed with you… I can think of so many fun things we could do instead" the blonde sidekick growled. He noted her ever-deepening surprise, before he leaned closer to her ear. "Now… be a good little girl and run along, will you…?" Ron finished. He moved down the hall, not once glancing back at the girl who was now staring at his back.
X-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-X
Ron Stoppable was home, having returned from his little meeting with his so-called partner. He had to stomach not only eating that foul garbage, but also her presence next to him. At first, she'd refused to be separated from him. He'd barely been able to get away, having to give some excuse that he had to take care of something and that they'd talk later. "If I'm lucky, she'll just suddenly move away and forget about me…" he spoke to no one, even if he knew that there was no way that was going to happen. The blonde teen sat at the desk in his room, busily working on something.
It was already pretty late, but the silence helped him focus as he labored. He had already formulated a plan, ready to set it in motion the moment he finished. After about an hour or more he was finally done, a smile sprouting on his face at his obvious success.
The first step was complete. …from there? Things were only going to get even more fun!
…
When the next day came Ron left his house, heading straight for school. He chose not to meet up with his little girlfriend, as he preferred to have as little interaction with her as possible. She could very easily become suspicious, quickly causing him some serious trouble. Ron still had a number of variables he needed to check, before he made his next move.
The school itself was as busy as it always was when he walked inside. Nobody gave him a second glance, just as usual… Now if he was with Possible they would always stare, even whispering to each other how the two just didn't fit. That the redhead would be much better off with someone else. His buffoonish self was used to that kind of talk, even if it left him ashamed to even walk alongside his childhood friend. Kim never seemed to notice, too blissfully happy walking with him, parading him around for all to see.
The blonde boy arrived at his locker, placing his bag inside. He was pleased that he'd decided to skip breakfast, as that had garnered him some time before his current girlfriend made her appearance. Ron could feel someone staring at him. He glanced to the side, assuming that it couldn't be his partner. After all, she'd probably rush him the moment she saw him. To his surprise, it was none other than the resident bitch of the school. She'd been staring at him before glancing away, as if she'd been caught doing something wrong.
Ron levelled an amused gaze at her as she fumbled with something in her locker, surrounded by her fellow cheer squad members. He winked at her the second she glanced towards him again. Bonnie's reaction had been priceless, first she froze for a moment. Then she turned around and walked away in a hurry, her cronies trailing after her.
'So, I scared her more than I thought I did… That's nice to know.' The blonde teen smirked, unable to hold his feelings inside. He didn't notice someone approaching until they bumped into him, snapping him out of his thoughts. Looking towards where he'd been hit the blonde saw a jacket blocking his way, the same kind that the jocks on the football team wore. Ron's eyes climbing upwards, he saw a black-haired teen he didn't recognize. To be fair, even his buffoonish persona only knew a few of them by name.
"Watch were you're going, Loser!" the larger boy yelled. Instantly the hall fell quiet, staring at the two of them.
Now Ron was really annoyed, his good mood seemingly evaporated. All he needed to do was to lay low, until it was the right time to make his move. 'Just stay in character…' he kept reminding himself, over and over again. "S-Sorry, I wasn't looking…" the blonde boy replied, flashing an awkward smile. He desperately held himself back from showing any other emotion.
"I noticed YOU, idiot!" The boy pushed him back to his locker. "I oughta punch your face in, just to make sure you remember next time" he threatened. He kicked the locker next to Ron's legs, as if to emphasize the point.
The blonde teen could only stand there, hoping that this whole situation would blow over as quickly as possible. Ron had far more important things to deal with… This idiot, that wanted to beat on his own chest like the ape he resembled, was the last thing he needed. Said black-haired jock closed the distance between them, approaching Ron's ear. "Now… if I have your attention," the teen whispered into his ear, "I think we can forget all about this little issue. If… you do something for me… I heard that you're currently dating Kim Possible, right?" The jock whispered his lewd request into the blonde's ear, a smile on his face.
Ron's eyes opened wide in shock. 'D-Did this guy just…?' There was no doubt in his mind what had just been asked of him. 'This little insect, how dare he!' Ron was about to reply when he felt the boy's hand on his shoulder.
"Now, what do you say Ronnie?" he asked, smiling.
Ron wasn't exactly sure what happened next, but at the moment he wasn't thinking very clearly. His hand shot up and grabbed the boy by the collar of his jacket, pulling him down to eye level. "How about no…" the blonde teen growled, before flinging the boy across the hall. He crashed into some lockers, denting them. The other students around them screamed in shock at the sight.
The blonde sidekick just stood there, staring at the idiot that had tried to threaten him. He'd been knocked unconscious, sprawled against the damaged lockers. The people around him looked at him with shock and fear, several already having run away.
…
The blonde sidekick exited the principal's office, Kim emerging right behind him. Ron had assumed that some of students that had fled would escort several teachers to his spot. He'd been asked to wait there, until Mr. Barkin arrived to sort everything out. Said man had walked over to check the boy passed out on the floor, before ordering some of the teachers to take the jock to the nurse's office. Then, he led the blonde teen to his own.
Kim arrived shortly after, looking fairly worried about the whole thing. She quickly came to her friend's aid, sure that he wouldn't ever attack someone without provocation. 'Well… sadly, she isn't wrong…' the blonde thought, walked towards their classroom.
"So… ready to tell me what that was all about?" she asked, walking alongside him. Her tone was gentle and kind, she didn't think for a second that he was the one to blame. It was a testament to the kind of loyalty that she had to him.
It made Ron smirk to himself internally. 'That is what will be your downfall…' he mused, before glancing back at her. "Nothing too big… He just wanted to convince me to… do something I wasn't really fond of…" the blonde answered cryptically.
"And you couldn't just talk it out?" Kim asked, now walking even closer to him than before.
"I'm pretty sure he was only interested in one thing… and talking wasn't it…" Ron assured.
"Okay?" She didn't understand, but kept pressing. "But still… don't you think you went just a LITTLE too far?" Kim prodded.
"Not really…" he replied flatly.
"Ron… he's in the nurse's office. He may end up having to go to the hospital…"
'He should be thankful that I didn't end him permanently!' the blonde shouted in his mind.
"Did you say something?" she asked, prompting Ron to shake his head. He still marveled at how sharp she could be.
The two eventually arrived at Kim's locker, Kim having received a message from Wade on their way to class. Their young friend had claimed that there was some sort of problem. "Guys, I'm glad you could make it so quickly!" the younger boy greeted the two.
"No big Wade, you said something happened?" Kim asked.
"Right! You two remember the lab that held the Attitudinator, right?" the young hacker asked.
They both nodded for conformation. "Well, it's only been a few days. So, yeah… what about it?" Kim asked. The hacker's question reminded her of the great friend that Miss Go could be, if only she had stayed good.
"I just got a report from GJ saying it's been completely destroyed. HenchCo Industries is fairing no better, actually. On top of that, the main scientist in charge of the Attitudinator's development is missing!" the boy explained. Both the hacker and Kim failed to notice the smile the blonde teen tried to hide.
