(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! It is me again, and I have some awesome news to share with you all!
Before I do or say anything else, I wish to give thanks and honor to the Lord. God, the glory of everything goes to you! We also give you thanks for helping us, not just with our crossover project here but with everything else too! Some people have tried to keep us down by various methods, but we stand firm with you Jesus Christ! Thank you for guiding me and my partner Dreams in making this crossover a reality, and thank you Lord for giving us the strength, courage, endurance, patience, fortitude and Truth that comes from you to make it this far! Going to go all the way with you, and with this story!
Well everyone, here is the awesome news! After two or so years of planning and talking… it is finally time for me and Dreams to make our Powerpuff Girls x SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron x Danny Phantom idea into a reality! This does mean I will be putting my own stories and projects on hold, but I believe this will be worth it in the long run of things.
And also for reference, the PPG here are the original ones from the 1998 animated series that was shown on Cartoon Network. Same with the SWAT Kats, which appeared in 1993 by Hanna-Barbera Cartoons. However, some slight tweaking is in order but mostly concerning the age of the PPG. That is it.
This is going to be a long story, just so you know. This takes place in two worlds; in 2020 in Townsville, and in 1995 in the SWAT Kats world after their final airing. Dreams managed to find a canceled episode called Succubus, and you can find the episode summary at the SWATKats Info website.
In addition, this story is actually a sequel to a future story that will be made that has been part of Dreams' idea that is actually pretty incredible and well-thought out by her.
Also this… me and Dreams are really disappointed on how many modern cartoons, movies and media have seen to have fallen very short in terms of standards, character development, plot development, character growth and more. We both agree that the cartoons and TV shows that were in the past when we were little, the kind we watched, hold more substance/essence/truth/value/potential than any of these modern-day media posssesses.
We also are saddened on how certain reboots and remakes have been made that fall extremely short as well in many areas. That is why we will work hard on this, and on our future projects. To bring back the quality and special essence/substance that used to be shown back in the day, which is VERY rare to even find today.
We cannot please everyone, nor do we ever wish to do so. I believe in the words of my pastor Rick Godwin from Summit Christian Center at San Antonio and it is this: If you try to please everyone, you lose yourself entirely. So while others may not be pleased at this, it is what it is. Our aim is not to please all, but to write a worthwhile story. No more, no less.
There will be NO kind of characters or reference to slash or femme-slash of any kind. There will also be no trans characters or notions in this story series, nor in any of my other stories. See my Profile bio to see where I firmly stand in and at. In this I am VERY serious about!
And that is my stance on this story, and all others I have made and will make in the future. And again, this story will feature Christian elements and faith! And that I am not sorry at all for!
Also, will be giving certain characters OC names from the website 20000-NAMES, as I have done in my previous stories. Each name is linked to a different nation, and has a different meaning. Danny Phantom is a cartoon series that was created by Butch Hartman, developed by Steve Marmel. The series aired on April 2004, the network that released it was Nickelodeon. The production companies were Billionford Inc. and Nickelodeon Animation Studios, with the distributors being Viacom International Inc. and Nelvana. Look for my Danny Phantom series and specials when getting the chance, if you please. Using last names for certain characters that come from said series.
Powerpuff Girls is a cartoon series that was created by Craig McCracken. Directed by Craig McCracken and many others over the years. Executive producer is Craig McCracken. Production companies are Hanna-Barbera Cartoons and Cartoon Network Studios, distributor was Warner Bros. Television Distribution. Series aired on Cartoon Network on November 1998.
Swat Kats is a cartoon series that was created by Christian Tremblay & Yvon Tremblay, directed by Robert Alvarez. Executive producer was Buzz Potamkin, production company was Hanna-Barbera Productions with distributors being Turner Entertainment & Turner Program Service. The series was released and aired in September 1993 and ended on January 1995. The original network it aired on was TBS.

Somewhere Out There is a song from the 1986 animated Don Bluth film An American Tail. The song is a single, sung by duet Linda Ronstadt & James Ingram, from album An American Tail: Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack. The album was released in November 1986, available on audio cassette, vinyl record and CD. The label were MCA Records originally, than to Geffen Records and Intrada Records in 2013 & 2019 respectively. Producer for the album was James Horner. For the single, the songwriters were James Horner, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. Produced by Peter Asher & Steve Tyrell. Journey is a 2001 song done by group Eiffel 65. It is an Italian music group that was formed in 1997 by the record company Bliss Corporation, the members being Jeffrey Jey, Maurizio Lobina & Gabry Ponte.

The camera is entirely black for a few moments, than turns completely white. But almost immediately following it, an elongated oval shape appears. Its shape looks like an egg that has been turned on its side. After a moment, someone appears to drop down within the shape. It is a young woman, one with brown hair, fair white skin, blue eyes and red lipstick on her lips.
It turns out to be Maria Neverdomski, who is in her human form. And to her right are the words in dark-pink HANNA-BARBERA. Maria smiles, than a golden ring of energy appears on her left side and starts to go over her. The scene freezes at the moment where the golden ring is exactly at the halfway point, in the middle of Maria's face.
It shows half of her face; on the left is her halfa-form, which shows golden hair, bronze-colored skin, her eye is now green with a beauty mark near it, her lips now having blue lipstick coloring & she seems to be wearing bands in her hair & on her neck that shows the colors of blue, red and green.
The logo stays in place for a few moments, than it fades as the scenery changes to show the city of Townsville. The narrator is not speaking, as he is not part of the intro. Everything seems to be peaceful… until the silence is shattered by the sound of a police alarm! The camera zooms towards the city, many buildings passing by in a blur until it stops in front of a bank. The scene now shows the entrance to the bank, where police were coming in on the scene in their vehicles. When they arrived, they got out of their police cars and took positions behind it & drawing out their guns.
The camera shows the door to the establishment, which are soon blown open with some smoke coming out from them. And a close up is done as some red latex boots come walking out. When they stop, the camera slowly pans upward to show that the boots are thigh-high types that belong to only one villainess. The camera pans upward to show the alluring curves wrapped in red and black outfit, and soon comes to the smirking face of the one called Sedusa! The camera zooms outward to showcase the entire seductive frame of the villainess, who is holding a bag full of money in her left hand, while her right hand is covered in a black gauntlet that has a red gemstone on the back of it.
The scene shows Sedusa striking a sensual pose, which makes the male officers grin dumbly and lower their weapons. Hearts shoot out of their beings as they are entranced completely by Sedusa's form. However, the female officers are not affected and very much looked more ticked off now as they fire their guns at her! Sedusa smirk increases as she lifts the gauntlet in front of her, the camera showing the red gemstone glowing red. Rings of magnetic power appear in front of Sedusa, stopping the bullets in their tracks. The metal projectiles float in midair a few feet from her, causing the female officer to cease fire and look in shock at the action.
The villainess than cackles and sends the projectiles back at the law officers with twice the speed! The policewomen duck down behind their cars just in time, some pulling their still-stricken male partners to the ground so that they are not hit. This seems to snap them out of their lust-induced trance.
Sedusa cackles as she seems to be the one in control… but then flashes of pink, blue and green appear in front of her. She turns her head, and her smirk turns into a snarl as the camera does a round-about turn to show that floating a small distance from her were… the superheroines- the Powerpuff Girls! They are now ten years of age, showing that indeed they do & will age like normal humans. On the left is Bubbles, in the middle is Blossom and on the right is Buttercup. The trio are wearing their signature clothing that has not changed, but the wear is more suited for their pre-teen looks, as they look seriously at Sedusa.
The camera changes to show the villainess letting out a shriek and raising her gauntlet up, firing now red laser energy beams at them that erupt from the palm of the gauntlet. The girls scatter, zipping here and there as their trademark colors appear from their wake. This keeps up for a few moments, than the camera zooms out to show the whole of Townsville like before… but this time a golden comet streaks in, heading towards the city!
It soon changes back to the fight, where Sedusa is being able to hold off the PPG with her newly acquired item. However, the camera shows her facing the 4th wall and her eyes widen. The camera changes to show the golden comet that was streaking for her… and the comet shifted/changed to show that it was the halfa heroine Maria Angel, partner to hero Danny Phantom from Amity Park!
The camera shows the determined look on Maria's face as she flew in towards Sedusa, veering left and right to avoid the laser blasts until she was close to her quarry. The camera showed her connecting with a rising uppercut punch that sent the villainess reeling upwards! The camera than showed the PPG coming in from all sides; Bubbles took the bag of money and tossed it down to one of the policewomen below, who caught it. Next, it showed Blossom using her Freeze Breath on the gauntlet, which turned into ice and then shattered into pieces, revealing the now free hand of Sedusa. And finally, Buttercup came in with a punch to the villainess face that sent her crashing back down to the pavement!
The camera turned to show an aerial view of Sedusa, who was knocked down and out with a bruise on her chin and cheek.
The camera went back to ground level to see the PPG coming back to the ground, followed by Maria who congratulated the three on a job well done. Two policewomen came to the crater of Sedusa, bringing her up and cuffing her before taking her away. It seems that all is well… until a swirling white portal appears behind the superheroines!
The camera shows their faces of surprise, shock and fear. Before they could do anything, the portal sucks them in and quickly collapses on itself and closes.
The scene changes to showcase a tunnel of swirling white and blue energy, the PPG and Maria flipping through the area. They are soon enveloped in white energy until only their outlines show… and it starts to change as well!
The scene changes again, this time in front of what appears to be a large building. The portal opens up, and it seemingly spits out the four superheroines. However… they have changed! They are now anthro cats, and seeing themselves as such causes looks of panic and shock to come on their faces.
They are now in Megakat City!
The camera shows the changed superheroines looking to their right, and see the villains/villainesses of the SWAT Kats! The camera shifts to showcase the various bad guys and girls from left to right; the Metallikats- Mac and Molly Mange, Chopshop, Dr. Viper, Dark Kat with his Creepling minions, Ci-Kat-A, Turmoil, Hard Dive and Pastmaster.
The camera changes back to show the ladies very much confused and scared, then they hear something and turn around to look to their left. The camera shows many Enforcer sedans, Peace-Keeper tanks, Enforcer helicopters coming in & honing in on them! The sedan doors opened up, many male and female officers wearing Enforcer uniforms filing out with laser rifles at the ready.
After showcasing the arrival of the Enforcers, a special kind of sedan different from the rest comes forth. Getting out of the car was Commander Ulysses Feral, and by his side was his loyal officer Sgt. Talon. Coming out from the other side was Lt. Commander Steel.
The camera showed Feral with his swagger stick in hand, raising it up in the air and soon bringing it down and pointing at the PPG and Maria!
The camera changed back to show the PPG and Maria looking very much scared at this particular moment… than something happened that caused them to look up!
The camera changed to an aerial view, showing all of Megakat City… and a familiar black jet streaking in the sky! It was the TurboKat aircraft, the signature vehicle utilized by the vigilante heroes- the SWAT Kats! The camera showed the jet streaking over the city, going to where the action was down below. The canopy blasted open, and two objects ejected from it. The jet than did a U-turn, now on autopilot as it seemed to disappear over the horizon.
The two beings coming down in their specially designed ejector seats were Razor and T-Bone, the duo showing themselves to the camera as they aimed for Maria and the PPG!
When they landed, they looked at the ladies and smiled, also doing a small wave to the superheroines. The PPG look surprised, but Maria looks very much scared and it shows. The SWAT Kats faces show worry on why Maria is like that. The camera shows Buttercup, Blossom and Bubbles turning to their friend and giving her a hug. It seems that it was what was needed, as Maria seems to relax and hug them back.
The camera changes to go up in the air, giving a bird's eye view as it shows the SWAT Kats, the PPG and Maria in the middle between the Enforcers and the various bad guys and girls of the SWAT Kat world. A few moments later, a blue helicopter appears and the camera shows it as the sliding door opens to reveal three female anthro cats.
The one with the wireless microphone in hand is Ann Gora, the lovely reporter from Kat's Eye News. Above her in the middle is the beautiful blonde Deputy Mayor known as Callie Briggs, who looks curiously at the situation. And above her with laser pistol in hand was Lt. Felina Feral, niece to Commander Feral. She too has a look of curiosity, but also determined to see which side to favor before making said decision.
The camera stays on them for a while as they look down at the action, than the camera turns to show the SWAT Kats, Maria and the PPG look towards the camera in battle poses. They soon charge at the camera screen, where the action freezes to show to all their charging battle poses.
The camera zooms awhile a little, where the characters are surrounded by an entirely white backdrop. Above them appear the words in red THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, and below them were the words in black RADICAL DIMENSION.

It is Saturday April 4th, 2020. The scene starts off in the city of Townsville, California, a quaint metropolis that is always bustling with life. Right now, the people are going to and fro with their daily lives. The citizens greet one another in a friendly manner, looking content and enjoying the peace. However… the peace is shattered when a loud alarm sounds off! It is coming from the 1st National Bank of Townsville, one of four main banks that was scattered throughout the city. Those near the building establishment fled the scene quickly, having it been long drilled into their heads to always flee a scene when trouble is around.
Several police cars zoomed in on the scene, showing to all their quickness in coming to the scene of a crime. Once they were situated there, two officers from each of the cars emerged with their weapons already drawn. It was now fourteen policemen and women surrounding the area with their guns aimed at the entrance/exitway door. A middle-aged policeman with a bullhorn called out, "ATTENTION IN THERE! THIS IS THE TOWNSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT! YOU ARE SURROUNDED! COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!".
The doors to the bank slowly opened up, causing the officers of the law to tense up, many believing they were going to face a well-armed gang. However… it was to their surprise that it was a single person that came forth! And arriving with a sensual walk and sway was… Sedusa! Yes, the one that was robbing the bank was the seductive femme fatale that used charm, cunning and also hair that looked to be alive & extend out to be used as extra appendages or weapons. In her left hand was a large tan-colored bag that seemed to be bursting with dollar bills, and on her right hand was a metal gauntlet of sort with a red gemstone embedded on the back of the hand area.
She was still wearing her usual but sexy attire, showing to the citizens that she had aged fairly well over the years. She was walking with the grace and air of a supermodel, but with the exotic sway that got the attention of the males around the area. The policemen, and some male stragglers that wanted to see the action, quickly got hypnotized by her alluring body. Hearts flew out from their heads, dopey expressions on their faces as their bodies went slack. She looked at some of the policemen pointing their weapons at her, smirking before asking in a seductive tone, "Awww, are you big, strong men going to harm little old me?".
Her little ploy worked as the men fell under her charms, their guns dropping to the ground. However, the policewomen looked ticked off at seeing their fellow officers of the law being under the siren's spell. Two of them yanked the stricken men back before aiming their firearms at Sedusa, who frowned at being interrupted like so. The young blonde policewoman cried out angrily, "That's enough of your tactics, Sedusa! Drop the money and put your hands in the air!".
Normally, Sedusa would comply as she was not a supervillain. She was more of being in the in-between of a normal criminal and super-being level. She had her hair that could give her an edge in battle, but what made her formidable was her cunning mind, sly deception and of course seduction on a level that would make men her playthings. Only men with strong enough will could resist her.
But now… it seemed that something had changed. She merely smirked at the policewomen and said in a fake-hurt tone, "Oh, pooh! You ladies always want to spoil my fun! Well… time for me to remedy that!". She said the last part in a declaration, raising up her hand to show the front of it. In the palm area of it was a red gemstone as well, which now started to glow and pulse.
Before any of them could react, the gemstone let out red rings of power that rippled and spread out, similar to how a stone is thrown in a pond to create rings in the water. The guns from the policewomen shook in their hands, the action causing surprise in the ladies of the law & their grip on them loosened just enough so that the firearms flew from their hands and towards Sedusa! The policewomen looked at their hands in total shock that they had been disarmed like so, while the criminal villainess had a smug look on her face.
The five remaining policewomen that were nearby regained their senses and started to fire at Sedusa! The alluring woman turned her gaze at them, her smug look vanishing with a glare as she pointed the gauntlet at them now. The red gemstone changed from red to blue, and blue energy ring ripples appeared in front of her. The bullets that were streaking towards her were repelled, bouncing off of the energy rings! It also sent the two firearms she confiscated from earlier also back, at speeds that were close to the repelled bullets! The ladies of the law, as well as the stragglers that were still around, shrieked/yelped before taking cover!
The projectiles hit many buildings and other objects, but thankfully no humans or living beings. Sedusa than grinned evilly and cackled with malicious glee. She proclaimed to all, "It seems the Gauntlet of Rings lives up to their legend!".
Earlier a week or so ago, she had managed to charm the Curator of the Townsville Museum. She told him to get for her an ancient artifact that was on display in the Medieval Europe wing of the establishment. It was the Gauntlet of Rings, a metal armor-crafted hand that held two gemstones that held the power of magnetism. The one who made the item used a bit of magic so that the gemstones would follow the mental commands of the wearer. It was also given the name due to how the energy would be projected outward in the form of ring ripples.
Back in the ancient days, the one who wore the gauntlet had tremendous power due to manipulating metal. And it was often utilized by a knight or warrior that had a strong heart and will to use it, but not fall under its influence.
But now it was in the hands of a villainess who had every intention of using it for her own self. Sedusa exclaimed with delight in her tone, "Now with this kind of power, I can easily get whatever I want and no one can stop me!".
That is when a familiar sound rose up… one that had the citizens soon smiling in relief and joy, while this made Sedusa frown intensely. She looked to the air and saw streaks of color heading towards her… streaks of blue, pink and green! The streaks flew down to her and stopped, revealing three superheroines that were the guardians of the city & role models for many young girls and women… it was the Powerpuff Girls!
Floating ten feet from Sedusa was Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup. The young ones looked older now, pre-teens at ten years of age. They still wore their usual style of clothing and hair-style, but more crafted for their growing bodies. The policewomen, and the policemen who managed to get their senses back together, looked up and cheered at seeing the potent crime fighters. Sedusa did not seem pleased at all to see them, as it showed on her face.
The PPG were also not pleased as well, frowns on their faces as they glared at the seductress with their arms folded across their chest. Blossom was the one to speak up first, "You have to come and make a ruckus on a Saturday! Don't you know we had plans today with our friend?".
Buttercup added in her usual tough-girl tone, "Yeah! We were all set about to go off on an outing, but we got the call that trouble was happening! Not cool!".
Bubbles was the one who finished it, "So if you don't mind, please surrender now and save us the trouble of beating you down like usual. We have other things to do than to deal with a washout like you.". It seemed that Bubbles was also not herself for the time being, given her upset tone and use of words like so.
Sedusa growled in anger, a look of fury upon her face at seeing & hearing the words from the superheroines that had foiled her schemes time & time again in the past. She dropped the bag of money to the ground, pointed her left hand at the superheroines and declared in a tone white-hot with rage, "A washout, am I?! Well than, how about I give you all a taste of the power I now possess?!".
She raised the gauntlet at them, focusing and letting loose a concentrated blue laser blast at them! The PPG zoomed away to avoid the blast, the laser impacting a part of a rooftop area of an apartment complex. The area was violently blown away due to the laser having the repelling aspect of a magnet, the people down below now running away from the falling debris. The policemen and women helped the citizens that had stayed behind to watch a battle move away from the scene.
The PPG also helped out in evacuating the stragglers off the streets, soon the area clear of civilians. Blossom looked to the officers of the law and exclaimed, "Keep the crowd away from the place! We got Sedusa!". The policemen and women nodded their heads, now working on crowd control as the PPG went off to do what they do best… defeat the super-powered bad guys and girls!
Sedusa continued to fire off blue beams of repulsing energy, trying to hit the swift & agile 10-year old girls. Alas, her blasts missed as Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup evaded her shots with ease. Even though they were close to indestructible, the young women knew better than to allow themselves to get hit by attacks like so. After a few minutes of failed attempts, Sedusa decided to change tactics.
She gazed around her to see cars and multiple objects made of metal around. Smirking, she raised her gauntlet hand at one of the police vehicles… and it started to levitate into the air! Other objects around it like bullets, guns, light fixtures and even a fire hydrant that was nearby was pulled into the air! Sedusa cackled as she threw her hand like she was pitching a baseball, and the metal objects streaked over to the PPG!
Said superheroines glared and started to punch and kick the objects away. Why did they do this instead of dodging the projectiles? The answer was that the police and crowd were still behind them, even if they were a distance away. If any of the deadly metal projectiles had missed them, they would have gone to the crowd and that would NOT be good at all!
So for now, they had to block the flying metal objects, big and small, with their attacks. Blossom used her freezing breath to freeze the cars heading her way which caused them to drop down due to the now extra weight, Buttercup used her punches and kicks to knock away the metal projectiles & Bubbles had to use her laser eye beams to knock away some of the more deadly, sharp metal objects.
Sedusa laughed in wicked delight and exclaimed, "Hahahahaha! You're pinned down girls! Who is going to save you now?! Hahahahaha!".
The answer came in the form of a golden streak that zoomed across the sky, heading right towards the action! The people above who heard the sound that accompanied the sight looked up, smiles soon forming on their faces as they saw another superheroine coming in. Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup briefly looked away from their positions to see the golden streak as well. And smiles formed on their faces as well as they knew who it was.
The streak slammed into a surprised Sedusa, sending her hard into the bank building! It was so hard that she made a slight indention into the establishment's brick walls. The villainess slid down, moaning in pain from the hit and coming around. Any normal human would have been KO'd upon impact, but Sedusa had toughened herself up over the years to become more resilient than a normal human.
She looked up, opened her eyes… and a look of rage came upon her face as she beheld the one that struck her. She was seeing a young woman that looked to be twenty-four years of age, having bronze-colored skin, full lips with blue-colored lipstick, fiery green eyes & golden blonde hair that was held in place by a headband that had the colors of pink, blue and green on them in bands. She wore a black hazmat suit that showed white letters as a symbol of sort. It showed the words M with the letter A next to it, but with the middle part of the M being fused with the beginning part of the A. She wore white gloves that had a wrist-band that bore the same colors as her headband.
But what was more amazing was that… she had now feet to speak of, just a tail… like a ghost!
It was Maria Angel, the latest in superheroines in the world and also a halfa! Yes, she was part spirit/part human but in a way that was truly unique & different from another halfa that existed.
Maria looked at Sedusa with a serious, deadly look and stated in a firm, neutral tone, "That is enough Sedusa. Cease and desist, or else I'll have to get quite rough with you.".
The villainess managed to pull herself out from the wall, landing on the ground and looking up at the superheroine with hate in her eyes. When she was joined by the PPG, the hate seemed to intensify. She retorted back hotly, "It's not enough this city has those blasted brats, but now you're coming in with them?! That is not fair!".
She rose back to feet and exclaimed, "Time for me to make you all full ghosts then!". Sedusa aimed her gauntlet right at the group, acting so fast that it actually surprised the four superheroines. It seems that acting on violent rage tends to increase speed and reaction time.
However, Maria Angel was also quick on the draw and formed a golden ecto-shield that took on the blue laser blast that was coming from the gemstone! It covered her and the PPG, protecting all of them as the blast pushed them back violently! But the halfa woman soon regained her mental facilities quickly and used her flight ability to push back against the force.
She managed to slow down the flight from Sedusa greatly, but she was slowly being pushed back still by the repelling magnetic force. Blossom looked to her friend and exclaimed, "Maria, are you okay?!".
Maria answered back over the noise the laser was making as it made contact with her shield, "I'm good! But we need to come up with a plan to stop Sedusa!".
Bubbles looked around the place as she and the others stayed close to Maria, than looked down to see a manhole cover. She peeked underneath the shield to see that there was one directly in front of Sedusa, about a couple of feet from her. It was then she came up with an idea! She called out, "Hey girls! I think I just have an idea on how to stop Sedusa!".
Buttercup called out, "Okay, lay it on us Bubbles!".
The blonde little girl called out, "Blossom, you go underneath the streets! Go through that manhole and make your way to Sedusa! Buttercup and I will take the sides to distract her! And Maria, you get ready to knock her lights out when the time comes! I'll give the signal to Blossom to come up and she'll use her freeze breath to freeze that gauntlet she's wearing! And Maria, that is when you give her the knockout punch when she loses that gauntlet!".
Her sisters and Maria were impressed by Bubble's thinking and planning, but it was only on the mild level. If it had been in the past, they would have had their jaws dropped all the way down. The PPG had learned from one another, as well as from others, incorporating certain habits and styles that helped for them to grow in certain areas.
The ladies nodded to Bubbles, Maria giving her a thumbs up while still maintaining the barrier with one hand and exclaimed, "Okay than, let's do it!".
Blossom turned and went down the manhole cover, breaking said cover completely as she zoomed into the sewer system. It would the city paying for the cover, but thankfully it was very minor. Meanwhile, Bubbles and Buttercup flew away from the shield and split up. The blonde PPG took the left side, the tomboy PPG going to the right side. Once they were in position, the duo zoomed towards Sedusa!
However, the villainess saw them coming and reacted accordingly. She had the hair on her sides shoot towards the girls, while maintaining her focus on Maria Angel. Bubbles and Buttercup started to dodge the hair strikes, which were still quick and formidable like before. However… this is what the girls wanted! Sedusa cackled as she kept the three girls at bay… than realized that something was off.
She counted her enemies before her, "Wait a minute! One… two… three…? Hey! Where is the other one?!".
Bubbles smirked as she dodged a strike and called out, "BLOSSOM, NOW!".
Sedusa looked to the blonde in surprise, than felt a rumbling in front of her. She looked down at the manhole that was a couple of feet from her… and it exploded like a cork from a champagne bottle, coming up from the hole was Blossom! Everything seemed to happen in slow motion as the leader of the PPG came up, opening her eyes with a smirk on her face as Sedusa realized in horror that she had been deceived!
Blossom took aim at the gauntlet, blowing out her freezing breath at it! Frost covered the metal hand wear, and science happened now. Due to using the gemstone's magic, the gauntlet got extremely heated up due to extended use. The wearer was enchanted to protect them from the heat, but the metal would get heated up. Now with the sudden drop in temperature thanks to Blossom's ice, cold and hot met and started to become harder… yet also more brittle at the same time!
When the redhead PPG saw that the gauntlet was covered over, she flew away and it was a good thing she did. The gemstone was still at work, and now it was building up energy due to sudden cutoff in the release of power. But Sedusa could do anything… the gauntlet exploded in tiny black pieces! Sedusa was thrown back a little by the blast, and her arm was still intact even though it was now covered in some scars. She was actually lucky that she only had minor scratches, as it could have been a lot worse. She was in horror that her item of power was destroyed, than her horror turned to rage as she turned her face to the girls.
Big mistake there, as Maria Angel flew towards her at impressive speed! Before she could say or do anything, Sedusa was lifted high into the air by a brilliant uppercut by the halfa heroine! She was sent flying upward a good distance, than came falling back down to the ground on the asphalt road! Again, it was only due to her toughness that she was still intact. That, and also Maria held back a majority of her full strength. Still, Sedusa was knocked out completely by the blow & by coming back down hard to earth.
The superheroines had won!
A little while later, the police were back on the scene while some of the citizens came on the scene to see the aftermath of the action. Two policewomen were escorting Sedusa, who was back to consciousness but too hurt to be a major threat now. She was looking livid, but she was too bruised up to put up a struggle. Even her hair was under lock, thanks to some special manacles that were crafted especially for her locks. The policewomen smirked in satisfaction as they put the villainess in the back of the car, closing and securing the door before going towards the front.
Sedusa turned to see the PPG and Maria, the four ladies smirking and waving to her in mocking fashion. And let us just say that if looks could kill, all would be buried seven feet under the ground. The police car than turned on its sirens and lights, driving away as they made their way down the streets towards the Townsville Super Prison Facility. It was a completely different kind of jail establishment, built specifically for those that had superpowers or a very cunning mindset that made them very much dangerous like those with powers.
The crowd was cheering loudly for the superheroines, as they had just saved the bank and the money of the citizens. The curator of the museum had come, hearing that the fabled gauntlet was no more. The ladies had apologized to him, but the elderly man stated that it was okay. While it was a loss of great importance, what was more so that it could no longer used by evil or to hurt people. The museum would make do with that they had.
Blossom checked her watch, and saw that it was now 9:30 a.m. She looked to Maria and exclaimed, "Maria, its 9:30 a.m.! We need to go now!".
Maria looked to her, nodding her head and turning to the crowd. She announced to the people all around them, "Sorry everyone, but we got to go now! All of you take care and God bless you all!". After saying that, the ladies took to the skies and rose up high over the buildings before taking off! The citizens still cheered for them, and when they were out of sight, went back to their daily lives. There were already construction crews going about to repair the damage to the area, while the bank started to count the money it had regained, making sure that every coin and dollar were accounted for.
The four superheroines streaked over the city, soon arriving at the suburbs and coming to the home of the PPG. And awaiting them was David Utonium, the professor who made the Powerpuff Girls. And by his side was Alice Keane… well, formerly Ms. Keane as she was now Alice Keane-Utonium!
Yes, David and Alice were married! Some years ago, they had gotten back together on account of Valentino running off with a black & white female feral cat. Alice had taken the loss of her pet hard, and it was David that was there to comfort her. The two slowly, very slowly but surely, started to come more together since then. They went on real dates, talked with one another, shared all kinds of stuff with one another… becoming real close, much to the pleasure of the PPG! And in 2019, they were officially married! And shortly after coming back from a one-month honeymoon, they decided to legally and formally adopt the PPG!
So now the girls had last names; Blossom Angelika Utonium, Bubbles Celestyna Utonium & Buttercup Edyta Utonium! The middle names were Polish, chosen by Maria which the parents & little ones approved of.
Now the couple was waiting for their daughters, looking upward and seeing them & Maria Angel come down. By the adult's side were four backpacks; one was dark-pink, one was light-blue, one was light-green & the other was an adult-sized dark-jungle green one with an orange-pink cellphone with white earphones & a fully loaded powerbank.
The four landed perfectly in front of the couple, the PPG smiling at seeing their parents while Maria smiled and transformed her ghost tail into legs. A golden ring then appeared in her midsection, splitting with one going upwards while one went down. Maria Angel was now back to her civilian-mortal form who was called Maria Neverdomski. She had fair white skin, rich earth-brown hair with a purple headband, blue eyes, dark-red lipstick coloring on her lips & a necklace that had multiple color bands on it. Her outfit had changed too.
She was wearing a light yellow jacket with glittery golden trim on the bottom and on the collar area that was unbuttoned with a white shirt underneath that had a purple lightning bolt of sort on it, on her left wrist was a bracelet that had multiple color bands on it, dark-maroon jeans and pink sneakers with white straps & blue soles underneath.
Maria was a Polish-American; born in Poland but transferring to the United States when she was quite young with her father and mother. They had moved to Amity Park, South Dakota where they had gotten involved with the residents… along with the halfa hero Danny Phantom! It was there that Maria was changed to a halfa, but that is a story for another time.
After the incident, Maria and her family decided to move to Townsville. It was tough on Maria since it was a long distance between Amity Park and Townsville, all due to her and Danny having grown close to one another.
It is there that she met the PPG and David, where she soon became the babysitter to the girls in order to make some money while attending college there. The professor needed someone trustworthy to look after his precious treasures while he was away either at scientific conventions… or when he went out on a date with Alice Keane!
Over the years, the PPG and Maria got along great. They started to see her as more than just a babysitter and fellow superheroine, but started to see her as a big sister figure and role model. And also as their guardian angel, as she had helped them in certain scrapes when their enemies became too crafty, powerful or cunning for them to handle. And also she gave advice to them concerning many things in life, especially choosing right from wrong.
You see, Maria was a Christian and followed the Lord with love, dedication, obedience, conviction, courage, strength and steadfastness. While she did have her fair share of troubles and tribulations, both in her mortal and spirit form, her faith and trust in God & His Son Jesus had seen her through. It was seeing this kind of faith that led to the PPG and their parents to convert to Christianity. And the family have never regretted it since then!
It was the same with Danny, who managed to keep seeing her despite the physical distance thanks to his halfa abilities. The two had gotten together as boyfriend/girlfriend, and the Fenton lad had also converted to Christianity after learning so much about Jesus from his lady love.
David looked to the four with a patient smile and asked, "So, who was it that made trouble in the city today?".
Blossom answered him, "It was Sedusa. She tried to rob the bank today.". This made both parents frown, and Alice to tighten slightly the hold she had around her husband's waist. Both knew Sedusa, especially at one time when she tried to seduce David a year ago in her alter-ego disguise Imma Goodlady. David instantly recognized her and tried to move away, but Sedusa was not one to give up easily despite David's faithfulness to his wife. Needless to say, Alice was NOT fond of the woman hitting on her newly-minted husband, and made it known… with a punch to the face that forced her to back off!
It resulted in a catfight that had many looking on in surprise at the ferocity and tenacity of the former kindergarten teacher! It lasted for several moments, the ladies going at it like a WWE match! Alice was able to win by powerbombing Sedusa through a table, said object breaking in half and the disguise of the seductress coming off to reveal herself. Not to mention KOing the villainess good!
The police had come in quick time, hauling away the alluring bad girl while the crowd cheered for the former Ms. Keane. Alice was a bit scratched up and bruised up, but it was minor and would fade after a couple of weeks. David had gone to his wife, hugging her and saying that he was amazed by her prowess and strength. Not to mention that she just defeated a villainess like Sedusa who had given the girls trouble. Both were still on high after the fight, and it was David that called Maria and told her that he and Alice would be coming home in the morning rather than late at night.
No other words were exchanged after that.
Alice spoke up, "I hope you got her good.".
Maria smirked and replied, "We did, all thanks to some crafty planning by Bubbles here. Little lady is quite smart and crafty here.". Bubbles blushed and giggled, taking in the praise from Maria in a modest way.
David and Alice chuckled at this, the professor speaking up, "Well, it seems that you all need to get changed back into your clothes if you're going to go to the park on time.". The PPG nodded their heads, zooming back into the house and getting dressed quick before coming back out in their new attire.
Buttercup was wearing a dark-green baseball cap that was turned backwards, a black shirt and green shorts. Bubbles was wearing a golden shirt with blue short on. And Blossom was wearing a dark pink sleeveless shirt and purple shorts.
Alice smiled at her little angels and asked, "Well girls, are you all set for the hike with Maria?".
All answered as one with joy in their tone, "Yes ma'am!".
You see, Maria's 24th birthday was yesterday. While they did celebrate her birthday, Maria actually wanted to do something for the ones that made her feel very welcome in Townsville. So she made plans for her and the PPG to take a nature hike at the Townsville National Park, which would give David and Alice more time with one another with just the two of them.
David smiled and looked to Maria and inquired, "Now Maria, do you have everything ready for the hike?".
Miss Neverdomski smiled back and replied, "Yes sir! And also my backpack is loaded up with the essentials!". She bent down, opening her backpack and showing the items that were in it. It contained a box of handkerchiefs, packets of mint-flavored chewing gum, a large folded-up colorful blanket that would be used for them to lie down on the ground, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, a small box containing a First-Aid kit, a large bottle of water, plastic bags that contained some sandwiches she made herself, a small plastic bowl that contained various fruit snacks, disinfectant sprays, a Frisbee disc, a flashlight with fresh batteries, a sketchbook next to a box that had pencils/colored pencils/markers/erasers along with a pencil sharpener & small trash bags to be used as to not throw trash in the park.
Mr. Utonium whistled in fascination and stated, "My, my! I have to say Maria, you sure do a good job in managing to cram all of that stuff inside that backpack.".
Maria smiled sheepishly and admitted, "I try my best, Mr. Utonium! Not easy, but I managed to do it!". She than looked to the girls and asked if they had everything ready.
Buttercup nodded, showing her backpack that had the essentials inside it, which also included her favorite green blanket that she had since she was created. Bubbles did the same, showing that inside the pack was her favorite stuffed toy Octi, which she still loved and cared for to this day. And finally Blossom showed her backpack, which also included her diary that was a gift from Maria six months ago.
Alice looked to everyone and spoke with authority but with concern in her tone, "Okay now! You all have a good time on your hike, and we'll see you back here at 6:00 p.m. But if anything happens, don't hesitate to call us okay?".
All of them nodded with Bubbles saying, "Yes Mom!". It really made Alice's day to be called that name by the girls, which sent a positive surge of energy through her.
David added in, "And please be careful. I know that Fuzzy Lumpkins lives on the other side of the park, but you never know with that mountain gorilla.". It was true, as the being known as Fuzzy Lumpkins often wandered away from his home and into the park, where he would automatically chase people out from there, claiming they were on his property. And often, the girls had to beat him into submission before taking him back to his mountain home.
Maria smiled and stated, "Don't worry David, Alice. I got this! They'll be safe with me the whole time, I promise you that!". The couple nodded, giving their full trust and faith in Maria to take care of their precious angels.
Mrs. Utonium inquired, "It is a shame that your boyfriend Danny couldn't make it. Are you sure that he could not postpone his duties for today?".
The halfa heroine had a sad smile on and answered in a tired tone, "Yeah… he really wanted to come with us, but he called early this morning and said that a surge of ghosts had appeared in Amity in swarms. And even with the help he is getting, the attacks would keep him preoccupied for almost the entire day.".
Buttercup put in, "Don't worry Maria! Danny will be fine, and I bet he'll be able to come even if it's later on!". The PPG also knew of Danny and his secret, and they considered him a fine match for Maria. In fact, the little girls used to have huge puppy crushes on Fenton & his Phantom-form, but they soon outgrew it and saw that his eyes and heart/soul/spirit belonged to Maria.
The young woman smiled at the little lady, nodding her head in a show that she believed it. She looked to the others and spoke, "Okay than! Let's get this show on the road! Ladies, zip up your packs and let's get going!".
The PPG gave her a playful salute, zipping up their backpacks and putting them on. Once they had them secure, they floated up in the air & Bubbles and Blossom picked up Maria by the shoulders. Bubbles was on the left side of her, Blossom on the right. Once they were airborne, the four girls zoomed towards their destination, David and Alice waving goodbye to them as they flew over the horizon and towards the park.
Alice held her husband close and said softly, "I hope they'll be okay…".
David returned the gesture and replied, "They'll be okay honey. Maria is going to be with them. What could possibly go wrong?". She looked to her husband, smiled softly and put her trust in his words. The duo returned to their home, where they would have it all to themselves for most of the day.
~In another dimension~
It is March 11th 1995, a beautiful Saturday early afternoon for the residents in MegaKat City. Yes, it was a world in which anthro beings lived at & this particular universe is where anthro cats were the dominant species. It has been a little over two months since the incident with a computer program that was invented by a one Dr. Leiter Greenbox, a graduate from MegaKat University. The program was named Zed, and originally it was part of a machine called the Micro-Brain Repair Unit. Said machine would be able to repair any kind of damage to any kind of technology, and it did just that flawlessly.
And that is where the problem started. Zed managed to repair the villainous couple of the world known as Mac and Molly Mange- the Metallikats! Said couple were once flesh and blood, but they suffered a crash in the sea as they attempted to escape from Alkatraz Prison. Their bodies washed up on a beach shore, found by two robots who were creations of Professor Hackle. Said professor was a genius & a former Puma-Dyne weapons designer for said business. He had created many weapons of mass destruction… but he soon come to realize that his creations would seriously do more harm than good, so he left the business & started to make inventions for the benefit of cat-kind.
He had become a pacifist, wanting to lead cat-kind in a world of peace. However… he did not fully realize who Mac and Molly were when his robots brought him to his home. When they were brought in, he discovered that their physical bodies were too injured for healing treatment. So in a desperate bid to save their lives… he transferred their memories and personalities into hard disks and put them in the robots that found them!
He had buried the bodies on his property, simple graves with the cross of Christ upon them. When the couple had come to, naturally shocked at their new forms and appearances, it was Hackle that told them what had occurred and also his occupation. He had told them on how they would be presented to the scientific academy he was part of, to be demonstrations on how this kind of technology could be used to save lives.
However… the Metallikats had other plans! Once the professor was gone, they had decided to use their new forms and abilities/capabilities to start a crime wave! It seemed that being that close to death and being given a second chance did not change their tune at all.
In any case, Zed was corrupted due to absorbing parts of the Metallikats evil personalities. It soon gained sentience, dismantling and assimilating various technological parts to build itself into a tall machine! And also it did not computer with the lofty goals of the metallic couple, aiming for complete world domination!
The powerful robot looked to be unstoppable as it continued to assimilate weapons and other kinds of parts… until it was stopped and turned to scrap by the city's vigilante heroes known as the SWAT Kats! It consisted of a two-cat team; the technician genius & sure-shot of the team known as Razor, and the piloting ace & muscle of the team known as T-Bone! With their high-tech fighting jet known as the TurboKat, the duo had managed to stop many a villain & villainess that dared to crop up!
Underneath the masks and gear, the SWAT Kats had their civilian identities. Razor was really Jake Clawson, and T-Bone was really Chance Furlong. Both had been members of the Enforcers, a paramilitary organization that was dedicated to protect MegaKat City in a way that the normal police would not be able to handle. They were led by the straight arrow, by the book, dedicated officer known as Commander Ulysses Feral.
However, their careers as Enforcer Pilots was short-lived during a dogfight against a powerful underworld criminal that went by name of Dark Kat. The duo had the villain locked in their sights, but Feral had come in and ordered them to pull back so he could handle the rest. Chance had refused, saying they already got a lock on the immense bad guy. During their verbal exchange, Feral's jet collided with the duo! Jake and Chance were forced to eject, and their disabled aircraft flew right smack dab into the newly constructed Enforcer Headquarters! In the confusion, Dark Kat had escaped.
Shortly after things had settled down, Jake and Chance were ejected from the force due to refusing an order from a superior, letting a villain escape & also destroying the new headquarters. To pay for the damages, Feral had the duo work at the MegaKat City Salvage Yard, operated by the brothers known as Burke and Murray. They would be working there until the damage to the Enforcer building and jet was paid off.
However, Jake and Chance managed to acquire a run-down two-story structure within the yard, cleaning and changing it up to become their own business called Jake and Chance's Garage. It was an auto body and repair shop, and the duo made do as is.
But… it was all a façade on the surface! Shortly after their ejection from the paramilitary organization, Jake and Chance still wanted to make a good difference for the city and the people within it. But under their own ways and rules, not by Commander Feral. So utilizing the scrap and junk that was collected from the salvaging, the duo managed to create a whole secret base underneath the garage! And using their ingenuity and craftsmanship, they created the TurboKat which Chance proclaimed that she could be able to soar higher, faster and more effective than any of the Enforcer vehicles.
Jake also created multiple kinds of gadgets & equipment, his creativity showing in his creations. Plus rooms that were designed to test their reflexes, strength, reaction time, speed and more! Even a secret hanger where the TurboKat could come and go!
And once everything was settled and done… they last part that was necessary were new identities! So they donned the masks and looks of two vigilante heroes that would forever be called the SWAT Kats: the Radical Squadron!
The duo had faced off against many challenges, many enemies and also dealing with a hackled Feral who did not like the vigilantes at all despite the many times they saved the city from destruction/disaster. The SWAT Kats managed to find an ally in the blonde, beautiful bombshell known as Callie Briggs, who was the Deputy Mayor of the city. Despite the title, she was the one that really ran the city while the real mayor known as Manx. And also, she was intelligent, smart and capable as she was beautiful. A very rare combination of beauty, brains and bravery.
She was given a communicator to contact them with, but did not know their civilian identities.
They also found support within the Enforcers, in the form of a beautiful but deadly she-kat called Lt. Felina Feral who was also the niece of Ulysses! She was quite capable with weapons and crafts, brave as they come & also tough to handle any situation or anyone she met that she did not feel was an ally.
Now back to the current scene. While most young cats were getting ready for Spring Break, others were hard at work. Especially at the Puma-Dyne Advanced Technology Research Facility, a place which was the center of weapons research and development.
In a large room, two middle-aged kat in lab coats were fiddling with something on a large table. The female with dark-brown hair spoke, "And… there! That should do it!".
The two them walk away from the table to fully take in what they were working on. On the table was a device of sort that looked like a mixture of the Gemkat 6000 & the Vertigo Cannon that was once used by a villainess called Turmoil. The male kat with glasses and brown hair smiled and commented, "Yes! This Dimensionator of ours is now fully operational! And after we test it, we'll see how the one still in beta-testing is doing.".
The female kat looked to her colleague with a smile and replied, "And we owe it all to a small magical pocketwatch that was found by the workers at the place where the pyramid Katchu Pichu used to be.".
The two scientists/engineers/technicians turned to a small table that was close to their location. On said table was a small, golden pocketwatch that had the Roman numbers where 3, 6, 9 and 12 are supposed to be at. The device once belonged to the Pastmaster, an ancient sorcerer from the Dark Ages around 800 or so years ago. He was brought back to life as red skeletal zombie, and still commanded the temporal magic that made him formidable back in the past.
Among his possessions was a pocketwatch that allowed him to gain control over time on a large scale, such as bringing beings from the distant past to the present… or sending others into the future!
Last time Pastmaster possessed the pocketwatch, it was when he tried to take over MegaKat City by harnessing the power within a temple called Katchu Pichu. However, he was defeated by the SWAT Kats and seemingly buried within the structure when it collapsed. The workers excavated the site, but there was no sign of him… only his watch.
Said watch was brought to Puma-Dyne to study its magical qualities and capabilities. It was by examining the pocketwatch that they made a breakthrough; that by utilizing scientific methods, they would be able to create doorways to other dimensions! So they had started to work on creating this device, calling it a Dimensionator. And as always, they made two proto-types. One that was now fully functional, while the other one that was still being crafted was in the beta-testing stage.
The female kat looked back to her & her partner's creation, gently touching the surface and stating softly in an awed tone, "Just think… we'll be famous for creating something that will allows us to travel to other worlds… other dimensions! Think of the knowledge we could gain... knowledge that will improve cat-kind!".
Her partner soon adopted a serious face on and stated, "Just as long as it's just that. You know how our superiors are when it comes to anything we make." The female kat nodded her head, knowing full well that their superiors would more than likely weaponized their creation. And in doing so… would most likely lead their world to war with another, and the consequences would be devastating for both sides!
She looked to him and inquired, "By the way, is the Central Home Frequency locked in?".
He answered with confidence in his tone, "Of course! Our home dimension's frequency is locked in and secured within the core memory of the Dimensionator! And also shielded and locked down with secure protocols. It would take something very powerful to even crack through it.". The two had the foresight to first lock in their own dimension's energy/dimensional frequency, so that the device can always bring them back to their proper dimension/universe.
She smiled and said, "Okay then, let's test it and see what happens!".
The male kat nodded his head, putting on some green-lensed safety goggles as he hefted the device on his shoulder. He struggled a little, almost losing balance as the Dimensionator was quite heavy. While they made it small to be held by others, it still weighed much. His female partner also put on some goggles, standing slightly behind and beside him. Once he was situated firmly, he looked to her & she gave him the thumbs up sign.
She went to the computer console that was on the very back of the device, punched in some random buttons & hit the ACTIVATE button. The nozzle of the device glowed a brilliant blue color, winds starting to whip around them as energy started to build up! The room was soon bathed in an intense light-blue glow, and a basketball orb of blue energy appeared! The orb than shot forward towards the wall… and appearing before them was a blue/white swirling vortex!
They had done it! They had managed to open a wormhole that was now connecting to the universe the female scientist had punched in! The two kats looked very pleased at this, as they awaited what would come forth from the wormhole that was now digging through the dimensional barriers like a Graboid would tunnel through dirt!
~Back in the PPG dimension~
It was now 11:30 a.m., and there was much activity at the Townsville National Park. There were people enjoying the perks of the large area; kids playing at the playgrounds & making new friends there, pre-teens and teenagers playing at four small but still adequate basketball courts, young adults walking around the pathways with the boyfriends having their arms wrapped around their lovely girlfriends & finally adults enjoying grilling some barbeque with their families. It had been raining for some time in March, so the ground was moist enough for certain activities that called for fire but of course fire safety warnings were still apparent and followed.
A few of the park's patrons were going on the nature hike through the forest that was the background the area, and among those few were Maria and the PPG.
The group had been greeted warmly by the citizens, some who went up to thank them personally due to being witnesses at what occurred at the bank earlier. The four lovely little ladies took the praise with grace, though Maria was a bit embarrassed when some asked for her autograph. When they finally made it past the groups, they took to the forest and follow the trail into the thickly wooded area.
And so they have been in there close to two hours, wandering through the woods and finding some interesting things there. They saw some rare English Sundew plants, a carnivorous plant that used tentacles covered with sticky dew & a sweet-smelling aroma from its glands to attract prey, which in this case was insects. Blossom had bought her camera, which was old-school by many definitions but had served her well over the years as she maintained it in top form. She took some pictures of the plants, and found one that was slowly trapping an insect which was a fly.
They did not stick long enough to see the demise of said fly by the plants.
They also saw a couple of Elf Owls in a tree up high. They were the smallest birds in North America, only five to six inches tall. Bubbles called out to them, another unique ability that she discovered. Over the years, her language skills had improved concerning animals. While not exactly like Dr. Doolittle, she spoke fluently to certain birds, sea mammals, reptiles and amphibians.
Bubbles told the others that the owls were male and female, becoming mates about a month ago. Of course, Blossom got good pictures of them together with the Zoom feature on her camera. The four wished the two birds' good luck, Blossom and Maria knowing that the animals were considered rare in California.
And they also met Bullet, their super-powered squirrel friend & unofficial member of the PPG like Maria was. The little critter which had been saved by Bubbles had been doing fine, now having a family of her own! She had gotten together with a flying squirrel that went by the name of Icarus, and together they had four little ones some years ago. Two of the flying squirrels had the same form as their mother, but the colorings of their father. One of the squirrels had green eyes, the other violet eyes. The remaining two squirrels looked like their father in form, but had the colorings of their mother. One had brown eyes, the other amazingly clear eyes like silver.
Bubbles told Maria that Bullet wanted her to name the kids, which she did so with pride like an aunt would. The flying squirrel female with green eyes was given the name Matilda, the second normal squirrel female with violet eyes given the name Kasia. The male normal squirrel with brown eyes was named Rajmund, and the other male flying squirrel with Miłosz.
All four kids of the squirrel couple also displayed powers like their mother; Matilda was very strong, being able to lift about 50 times her own weight! Kasia had speed that actually surpassed even the PPG's top speed! Rajmund had the ability to manipulate the elements of nature such as water/wind/fire/earth/ice/metal/lighting/mountain/plant! He could manipulate them, but not create them himself. And finally Miłosz could sense emotions, having empathy power that was a pain to him at first, but thanks to Bullet and Icarus, managed to see it as a blessing rather than curse.
The children had grown up strong and healthy, while Bullet looked in her prime as well. It was due to the Chemical X in her system, which slowed down the aging process. Icarus had sadly passed away in January, which was a hard blow to the family & to the PPG and Maria. He was buried in the PPG backyard, as Bullet did not want any animal to dig him up and eat him.
The group waved to Bullet and her little ones, who waved back to them before flying down to meet them. The human ladies giggled as the young ones rubbed up against them, their fur tickling them. The squirrels exchanged pleasantries with one another, Bubbles of course translating for them. The guardians of the forest told them that they were doing patrols, and so far everything was good. Also no signs of Fuzzy Lumpkins, which was better for the superheroines.
The group talked some more before moving on, Bullet and her offspring waving goodbye to them before they flew away. However… Miłosz had decided to keep an eye on them, hanging back without telling his mother or his siblings as he took to the trees & keeping an eye on the humans below.
Now back to current time, Maria and the others had stopped at a rest station which was a small pavilion that could comfortably seat about ten people underneath its roof. The girls sat at one of the tables, each one taking out their own water bottles and downing their contents. After gulping down the cool and refreshing liquid, the young ones looked to Maria and Blossom asked, "Well Maria, what do you think we should do now?".
The halfa heroine took a bite of the sandwich she made for herself, chewing and swallowing before looking to Blossom and answering, "Well, I did see a small lake near here. We can go there and use the blanket to rest there and enjoy the scenery more.".
The others believed it to be a good idea, nodding their heads and saying it would be good to go to the lake. Buttercup spoke up, "Too bad that fishing and swimming isn't allowed here, otherwise I would be either taking a dip or trying to catch some fish.".
Maria smiled good-naturedly at the green-garbed girl and replied, "I know Buttercup, but the laws exist for a reason. Especially when to protect wildlife that need it.". Buttercup remarked that she understood, but was still bummed out about it.
Before any of them could do anything else… something happened that made them freeze. They felt static electricity in the air, winds that were non-existent soon whipping into place like a strong gust. Bubbles asked in a concerned tone, "Maria! What's going on?". She looked around to see that many small critters that were near their location were now fleeing, except for one that was high in the trees and watching the action below.
The halfa replied over the slowly increasing noise of the wind, "I-I don't know! But this feels… this feels similar to when I saw the Ghost Portal open back at Amity Park!".
Suddenly, something happened that would be recorded later on as an event that would change history! A rip in time and space occurred, a swirling blue/white vortex appearing out of thin air near their location! The PPG and Maria were taken aback by the sudden appearance of the portal. They had seen rips in space before, such as facing the diabolical demon known as Him. But this was different, and not just in color. Something felt… odd about it, as the girls could sense danger or any kind of maliciousness from tears. This one felt… more intense, but nothing dangerous.
And before they knew it, the portal became a vacuum! Intense and powerful winds started to come from it, but it was drawing in instead of blowing! The PPG started to fly off, but did not get any distance due to the powerful suction. Their backpacks and items flew into the portal… and so did Maria! The halfa was so surprised, she did not change into her spirit form! She yelled as she was sucked into the vortex!
The PPG saw this, eyes widening as they reacted on instincts and followed her into the portal. They refused to be separated from their best friend/best babysitter/best adopted sister! Once they were all in, the portal soon collapsed on itself and vanished in a flash of light!
The one who saw this, the flying squirrel known as Miłosz, had his eyes widen in surprise and shock on what he just witnessed. He was far away so that the suction did not affect him, but he was stunned on what just occurred. Knowing that he needed to tell someone who could help, he flew off fast to find his mother and the others.
The adventure of a lifetime had begun for Maria and the PPG, and a new chapter was going to open for them and many others… in both dimensional universes!
~Outro; credits & song Somewhere Out There
The music plays as the screen is black, then shows a scene where a bedroom was at. The credits rolled upwards from the right side of the screen, going from the bottom all the way to the top. It was a simple bedroom with a dresser and old-school TV set. On the bed, covered in a large blanket, are Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. They are in their anthro forms, snuggled together cutely as they are asleep in their new pajamas. The camera focuses on them for some moments, than slowly pans to the right to show someone looking out a window. Said window showed that it was nighttime, the stars shining brightly in the sky.
The being sitting near the window on a stool was Maria in her anthro kat form, also in some new pajamas as well. As the song lyrics came up, the camera slowly transitioned to show the face of Maria. Her eyes showed longing and sadness, looking through the window. The scene changed so that everyone could see what she was seeing, which was MegaKat City. The lights of the city were aglow, showing much activity there. The city was shown for several moments, than panned upwards towards the starry sky.
The camera changed to show Maria's face, a lone tear coming down her face.
The camera zoomed in slowly on her face for a few moments, than changed immediately to show the sky full of stars and a full moon.
After some moments, the camera switched and lowered down to show the house of the PPG. Three people could be seen from the middle window of the room on the top floor. The camera switched to show a close-up of the window, and it showed an older Danny Fenton on the left, Mrs. Alice Keane-Utonium in the middle and Mr. David Utonium on the right.
The camera showed David hugging Alice close, both showing extreme concern on their faces. Alice held her husband close, a tear slipping from their eyes as they showed they missed their daughters very much.
The camera than panned towards Danny, who was also looking worried as he looked at the moon. The camera soon changed to show said celestial object, and zooming into towards the silver orb. Soon, the face of Maria appeared in it but in her human form.
It soon changed back to show Danny, the scene now becoming wavy to indicate that something was taking place in an imagination realm. The scene becomes entirely black, than it shows Danny and Maria hugging each other lovingly and tightly. The scene stays like this for a few moments, than both images fade but the scene is still entirely black.
Appearing in a fade-in was Maria, who was still in her anthro form. She was still looking down, until someone appeared to wrap their arms around her. The camera showed that it was Danny, but in an anthro form as well! He had black fur, a white t-shirt on, blue jeans on & also a long black tail. He looked to be done in the body form of Jake. His tail wrapped and intertwined around Maria's own tail.
The two hugged one another lovingly, than something happened. The image appeared to shrink in size slightly, and appearing underneath it on the right-hand corner was Maria. It seemed that this was a night-dream sequence of sort. As Anthro-Maria appeared, so did Danny across from her. The image of him and Maria in her human form appeared above him, the two images directly opposite of one another.
The four images were shown like a formation of a square, in the middle as the moon as the credits rolled on by and finished up along with the song.

Also, I used some characters that can be found in my Disney/Toho special called 3rd Annual Disney/Toho Kaiju Music Video Awards. Icarus is the flying squirrel from Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, while the kids are OC creations that are the kids of Bullet and Icarus.
I also looked up info on rare birds and plants that could be found in California, and put them here. Again, we hope you enjoyed this beginning and are prepared for some character & plot growth and development.
