Promises you made to me

As you gaze into my eyes of blue

Hoping that our paths would cross

Once again

It was a song.

No...perhaps the best he described was a melody beginning to play in the darkness. Gentle, warm, yet a hint of sadness was in the voice as it was sung. The voice sounded like a young woman. Each note played by the piano was followed by a lyric. But as time passed, the lyrics and tune became muffled. At times, the lyric would repeat but another verse was added.

On that day when all was lost

I remember what you said to me

That past are wound and all the pain

Would be yield by the break of dawn

Who was it that was singing the song? Why did the voice sound familiar? Why did the feeling behind the melody bring him warmth and sorrow?

"Who...are you?"

He muttered in the darkness. Who was the person singing the melody? He...wanted to meet them. He wanted to meet the person singing the melody. He...wanted to take the sadness in the song away. But, there was something else.

"I...want to meet you."

He said and a small spark formed in the darkness and floated to his hands. The spark...it felt weak as if it was fading away. Why was it fading away? He gulped and whispered.

"Don't give up...You..can do it."

The small spark became just a tad brighter.

"My Lady, we are close to the island."

The skies near Elusia had only seemed to grow darker as the war to revive the Fell Dragon had gone on. Searching for the Emblems had been difficult. Plans to steal them had been put to a halt. But it seemed luck had suddenly chosen to smile down on them when a mysterious island was seen spotted miles away from Elusia. Perhaps a better way to describe it was that it took an entire week to arrive at the place. The ocean wasn't better, considering it was storm season. But for an island to just appear, she remembered old stories that when the world was in danger, islands containing Emblems of heroes of other worlds would appear to answer the prayers of people.

"Ha. Pathetic." She chuckled and looked out to the island, "How long till we reach the shore?" The woman called out.

"A few more minutes!" The voice of a girl called out and ran towards the rails, "What do you think this Emblem is, Zephia?" The girl said as the older woman narrowed her eyes.

"Marni, do you sense anything?" Zephia said as she looked at the girl.

Marni was a curly blonde-haired girl with straight bangs covering the right side of her face. She had blue eyes and wore black and dark pink female general armor with ribbons to make, it looks cute. The girl narrowed her eyes and then shivered, looking back to the older woman.

Zephia was a tan-skinned beauty with purple-blue eyes, silver-colored long hair, and long bangs that covered the right side of her face. She wore very revealing sorcerer garbs that were more like a dominatrix outfit hiding nothing of her stomach and hips. As well as a black crescent moon crown with dark pink ribbons and tassels, and blue flower-like ribbons with a golden circlet.

"I sense...hostility. Zephia, I think the island is trying to keep us away." Marni said and Zephia scoffed.

"That shouldn't be possible. The ring is useless without a wielder. Still..." she looked back to the island and the ship finally made contact, "we should be wary. These rings are unpredictable."

"Do you think Mauvier and Griss will be alright?" Marni asked and Zephia snorted.

"Griss I can see will be fine. The man has a talent for turning the battlefield bloody in his favor. As for Mauvier, he is currently assigned to find Lady Veyle. But if he can locate the third island that appeared, it is welcomed." Zephia said and suddenly paused.

Marni also became tense and the two jumped off the boat, the atmosphere of the island was anything but welcoming. It felt...hostile. Evil. Like if...it was trying to push them back.

"This place...I don't like it." Marni whispered as Zephia narrowed her eyes and looked around, then sniffed the air.

"Ugh!" the woman reeled back, covering her nose, "The scent of a dragon! Tch." She raised her hand and black spots of mud began to form on the ground, "It's best we send corrupted to scout the place."

Growls and gurls began to fill the place as creatures wearing masks and glowing red eyes rose from the ground. They snarled and gashed, yet bowed at the two. Marni felt unsettled but swallowed her concern as Zephia looked down at them.

"Go," Zephia ordered and the monsters ran into the forest as she and Marni walked.

They looked up, seeing a stone shrine, miles away, covered in moss and black fog.

[—-]

The dark spirit in the shrine gritted their teeth as they watched monsters enter the forest. With a wave of their hands, roars filled the forest and demonic monsters appeared. It watched the other monsters fight along with the two women. The spirit was only a shadow created from the spirit sleeping in the relic that was in the shrine. It was created to guard the place till someone worthy appeared. But that person...will never come. The former master of the ring...no longer in this world.

They left a long time ago...

Ring~

Ring~

Ring~

The dark spirit became still as two bell chimes rang in its home. It felt an emotion it had not felt in a long, long, time. To hear the chime, not just once but thrice, meant there were three. But...how was that possible? The only ones that would be able to wield them had long left Elyos. Still...the spirit could feel the swirling of magic from the Dragon Veins, they were responding to the chimes. At this, the dark spirit took a deep breath and...

"Aaaaaahhhhhh! Llaaaaaaa! Laaaaaaaa!"

[-]

"Aaaaaahhhhhh! Llaaaaaaa! Laaaaaaaa!"

Marni and Zephia became still as well as the monsters that were summoned in the forest. The demonic beast unleashed roars and charged.

"The Corrupted will take care of those monsters. Let's go!" Zephia yelled and Marni nodded, following behind as the two women ran deeper into the forest.

Now shadows of warriors were starting to emerge from the ground. They all ran towards them, and each one cut down had some sort of strength. Whether it be an archer, wyvern rider, mage, or axe fighter, the list kept going. At some point, a mirage of a dragon appeared and Marni barely managed to cut it down. It felt likes hours passed but finally they made it to the stone stairs of the shrine. Zephia gritted her teeth, wiping her brow.

"Never before has a retrieval for an Emblem caused me this much trouble! I'll see to it that it better be worth all this hassle!" The sorceress growled and Marni panted, agreeing.

They had never had much of a struggle fighting. Let alone, the island of an emblem shouldn't have so many enemies. Let alone...whatever that haunting wail was. No, it sounded more like some sort of creepy song. Marni didn't know what to think, all that she knew was that wail was not good. She and Zephia made their way up, their Corrupted army plowing through the stone gate that sealed the place. They stopped before they all screamed from getting sent flying away like flies by a powerful gust of magic. All Zephia and Marni did were step away, it was a comical sight to behold. Marni couldn't help but snicker watching the corrupted struggling to get back up and then a few started to fight one another because they landed on them.

Zephia let a sigh and looked back at the temple entrance. It was time to go in. To say the room was dark was an understatement. They couldn't see anything in the shrine, a ball of fire just barely lit up the area where they stood. But the scent of moss, water, and dust was there. But it was the wretched scent of...a divine dragon that made Zephia nearly bare her fangs. A powerful gust of wind suddenly came at them, making Marni scream, desperately pulling her skirt down. Zephia quickly put her arms up to protect herself and the inside of the temple suddenly lit up. Torches of fire lit up the place, revealing a vast field with scorched areas, rusted weapons on the ground, and old war weapons made of metal and wood. And fortresses that were just barely holding together.

"Something feels off about this place." Zephia said and looked around till finally, her eyes landed at the altar far at the end, "There it is." The woman grinned but she had never seen an altar encased in some sort of crystal.

Thanks to her eyesight, she spotted a ring inside of it. A gold-colored ring with three gems, a black, blue, and red one in a triangle formation with a green one at the center. It had a vine engraving.

"I have a funny feeling that Emblem was sealed away." Marni gulped, "We should be careful."

"Y—!"

"AAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

The wailing suddenly came back and the place began to tremble. The two quickly looked around and bolted towards the altar. Even as monsters rose from the ground, they were quickly cut down. They ran and ran, Zephia reached out her hand, closer and closer, they were so close to the ring. She lunged, and right when her hand was about to make contact with the crystal, a burst of light exploded from it.

"GAH!" The woman screamed as that light became a pillar and grew and grew, throwing her and Marni back.

"GRAAAAHHHH!" The corrupted screamed in agony as the light burned them all to ashes.

Zephia gritted her teeth with narrowed eyes, but she also heard another scream. The scream of a woman that wasn't Marni's.

"Wait, I see—THE RING!" Marni screamed and Zephia saw it.

The figure of a woman in the pillar of light, the crystal cracking, and the light faded. All around them, the field disappeared and all that was left were ashes on the ground, fragments of crystals where the altar and ring once stood. The field was nothing but a barren shrine room. Zephia and Marni were too stunned to speak as they were trying to process everything that had just happened.

"Z-Zephia, what was that?!" Marni squeaked as the white-haired woman slowly stood up and walked to the altar.

It was destroyed, and only crystal fragments remained, along with a single earring. A gold earring with a heart-shaped diamond. Zephia gritted her teeth in rage.

"Whoever you are...you're going to regret taking what doesn't belong to you!"

? —-

"Hmm?"

Fighting the Corrupted, no matter how many times, brought her dread. She walked through an old abandoned village that had not seen life in years. Even if it was far at the borders of Firene, a wave of sadness filled her. Yet, she paused. The young woman looked around, she could have sworn she heard something. Was the village now a place for bandits? She prayed not. The young woman gulped as she kept looking around but...now the scent of blood filled her nostrils. She searched and searched till finally, it lead her to an old house. She carefully made her way there and gulped, peaking in.

"Hello?" She called out and received no reply till she walked in. There was an old bed, the floor was now nothing but dirt with grass growing. Broken shelves, but in the old home was a small field of flowers. But it was what was in the field that made the woman gasp, covering her mouth. There in the field, was a person laying on the ground, surrounded by what looked like his belongings, scattered all over the floor.

"Are you alright?!" The girl called out and ran to the person, quickly kneeling on the ground.

She flipped over the body, and gasped, seeing it was a man covered in cuts, some bloodied. He didn't respond to her screaming, but she quickly put her ear on his chest. She waited, becoming silent, praying she heard a sound.

Bubump.

She let out a sigh of relief hearing a heartbeat. She backed away a bit, seeing the man's chest rise up and down. But, who was he? But that wasn't important at the moment. She needed to treat him. Thankfully the old house still had a decent roof that would protect them from the rain storm that was coming but it wasn't going to be enough. The woman raised her hand and summoned a small stone, on was carved as a symbol. She whispered a spell and let it go. The pebble glowed and a translucent dome formed around the old house. Now, she no longer felt cold.

"Please excuse me. But I need to treat you!" The girl squeaked nervously and began to remove his shirt.

It was going to take a while to treat all the wounds.

[—-]

It took about 30 minutes to treat and disinfect the wounds. Thankfully the man didn't have any serious ones. She carefully laid the man on the coat she found. It must belong to him. She sighed, looking around and seeing some of the scattered things. They were this strange thing wrapped bar in some sort of colorful metallic sheet. The other things were in some sort of backpack and a thick long black case. But, when she removed his gloves, she noticed that on his right hand, he wore a ring, and on his left, another one as well. However, the ring on his left-hand..looked different. The design of it was a silver ring with two small dragons, one up and the other down, similar to a Ying and Yang symbol, and at the center was a dark blue gem.

"Emblems?" She muttered and had her hand hover over the man's hand.

She sensed...nothing from it. It felt like a normal ring. Same with the other.

"How strange." She whispered and looked back to the man that was now sleeping. For now, she should wait till he wakes up.

[—-]

The one in the ring was silent as she watched the young woman take care of the man. Still, how on earth was she not in her shrine? Let alone, it had been years since she had heard the bells chime. Not one, not two, but three times. That meant she and the other two had been called upon. If that was the case, then there was a chance others that were like her and the other two may be called. Still, as much as she wished she could manifest, she could not. She could sense a seal over her ring. Her former wielder did it to ensure their safety. A sigh escaped her lips.

"What has happened to awaken us?"

[—]

The spirit in the ring, let out a frustrated sigh as it was distributed from its slumber. She hadn't heard the bell chime in years! But hearing it three times?! That meant something serious must have happened. She only prayed that it wasn't something too bad. She already had enough of dealing with Fell Dragons in her world. Having to deal with the one in Elyos again wasn't her cup of tea. Still, she felt...a desperate emotion of survival flow into the ring and she manifested it. The first thing in her sight was the battlefield followed by nothing but monsters. No, it was her shrine where she was put to sleep by her previous weirder. Why the hell is it swarmed with monsters? Still, she looked down.

"I am Emblem Sophia...who dares awake me from my slumber?"

Her tone was cold. Her crimson-emerald eyes as well. She wore a cream-colored long sleeve button shirt with a black corset. A crimson long skirt to the length of her ankles, black boots, and her belt had three books strapped on her left, along with multiple bottles with different colored liquid on her right. She also wore what looked similar to an army medical satchel. The woman had crimson-orange red hair that was shoulder length and a gold crown. But what was noticeable was the few streaks of white in her hair.

Emblem Sophia narrowed her eyes and looked down at the one that summoned her. A younger woman who looked about twenty-three years of age. She has choppy short-length hair, brown eyes, and a gray nurse uniform with a medical purse. And to her amusement, she was dressed in...a doctor's coat. Army doctor's coat...wait a damn minute...

"This is a surprise." Sophia crossed her arms, "I didn't expect an Outworlder to summon me. Let alone...a fellow doctor." She said as the young woman gulped, "Actually...How did she come here? Is her situation similar to mine?" She thought

"L-Look...I'm just trying to s-survive. I have no idea how I ended up here." The woman said as she nervously looked over her shoulder, "I-I'm sorry I disturbed you." The young woman screamed at the sight of the monsters.

"Don't be." Sophia said and looked over to the cave entrance, "You're being attacked, aren't you?" The woman gulped but nodded, "I see...Sigh."

Sophia floated in front of her and raised her hand, creating a ball of flames, "Alright, let's get this over with. I can't believe the first thing I wake up to is some poor unfortunate soul going through what I did." And with a snap of her fingers, flames of white and blue burst through the entire place, burying to ashes the corrupted.

The woman who she just noticed had her ring in her hand. But it's clear the young woman was terrified and confused, but, with another snap of her fingers, light surrounded the two and both disappeared from the shrine.

"Dammit!" The yell of a man was heard, "I'll find you both!"

? —

"Aaahh! Oof!"

Sophia looked around carefully to make sure they were in a safe area, far away from civilization for the safety of the woman that summoned her. At the moment, they were in an old abandoned village at the edge of Brodia. While abandoned, it wasn't too long ago. The place was still a decent place with some supplies. For now, she turned to look back at the woman, who was on the ground, trembling like a newborn child.

"We're safe now. If you need to cry, go ahead." Sophia said softly as the woman nodded but, gulped.

"I-I...where am I? T-The last memory I have is...my brother, sister, and I, we were in his truck. On our way to Florida...for a trip. A-And suddenly, the brakes broke...truck swerved...and...w-we fell into the lake...E-Everything went dark." The woman whimpered and the tears started to fall, "D-Did I die?"

"Shhh...Come." Sophia spoke softly, "Let's go into one of the old houses. It's not exactly safe out in the open." She said and the woman nodded, both going into an old house.

The inside of it was fairly dusty, but somehow brought her back old memories of her time in Ylisse. It was more than obvious that the young woman was traumatized by the events that had transpired and she needed to make sure to at least comfort her. The old house thankfully had a fireplace that some old wood in it, along with a basket of logs. A dusty bed and the blankets were decent. Unfortunately, none of the cabinets had food but once looking through the drawers, Sophia found some women's clothing. As for the girl, she was busy getting the first place ready. After all, was done and clearing the dust, the woman just sat down in front of the fireplace, hugging her knees.

Her eyes were void of emotions. Sophia remained silent as she went to sit but she kept a safe distance from the woman. She looked young...about the same age as her, 23 years old. The clothing, was a doctor's coat, that of the surgeon. The bag though was an army medical bag.

"Were you...part of the US army? A medic?" Sophia said and the woman twitched, slowly turning to look at her, "My name is Sophia. I was a surgeon in California. No part of the army, but had some friends that were." She said and the woman nodded a bit.

"I speak Spanish too." Sophia said and the woman's eyes lit up a bit, "Que es to nombre?" She said.

"...Perla. My name is Perla." Perla introduced herself, "But...just call me Pearl. Or...Perlita is fine too." Perla said and Sophia smiled softly.

"You look around my age." Perla said, "I...think I've calmed down enough. W-Where am I? What are you?" She asked, weary.

"You are in a world called Elyos. But right now, you are at the border of one of its nations, called Brodia." Sophia explained, "I know this is sudden but...do you know...The Fire Emblem series?" She asked and Perla blinked.

"S-Sort of. I only played Genealogy of The Holy War and Thracia 776. That's all." Perla said, puzzled, "Why?"

"Okay, so you never played any of the games that came out?" Sophia said and the woman shook her head, "I understand. But this may be difficult for you to accept but..." she paused for a moment, "this world, is part of The Fire Emblem series. You are in one of those worlds." She said and Perla looked at her like she was crazy.

"T-That can't be possible. S-Such things are not possible." Perla said and Sophia sighed.

"It is. I'm the evidence in front of you." Sophia said, "For your question earlier, I am an Emblem. I am...a projection of The real Sophia. The real Sophia is back in her world, Ylisse." She explained as Perla was just trying to digest everything that was told to her.

"I...This is too much."

"What year was it?"

"Huh?" Perla blinked, "What year was it back on earth?"

"2023..." Perla said and Sophia looked at her surprised.

"Huh. It has been only three years back on earth." Sophia thought, "You should get some rest. I'll keep watch." She said and the woman nodded, going to the old bed.

Sophia watched as she laid down, hearing the sniffles, but she gently had her hand hovered over her head, putting the young woman to sleep. Making sure no nightmares plagued her dreams. She let out a small sigh of relief and went to look outside the old village. She sensed no one but...she placed her hand on the ground, making the outlines of a dragon's vein appear.

"Can you hear me?" She said and received nothing but silence, "I know you have been awakened. If I'm awake, that means you two are as well." She said and waited.

"I'm awake, but I think Unique is sealed..."

"What?!" Sophia blinked at the response, "Sealed?! How?! Did her former weirder do it?!" Sophia said as the voice of the woman sighed.

"Yes. I remember they were trying to prevent Sombrom's corruption from spreading onto her and her wielder. Sigh. How are things on your end?" The voice said.

"Looks like a poor soul got dragged into this mess." The voice sighed, "Make that three." Sophia said and from the other side, the voice was stunned.

"What?! Three?!" The voice screeched, "Three...But, that should be impossible. The only way we can be summoned is..." Sophia paused, "No...No...could..." she looked back to the roots, "How old is the one that has your ring?"

"She looks about 19. Turning 20 soon, possibly or recently." The voice said and Sophia narrowed her eyes.

"I sense...the one you just said and another. Oh, they are all siblings." Sophia blinked as the voice on the other sighed.

"Looks like it's our turn this time to guide a fellow Outworlder. I wonder how our real selves would react to this?" The voice said and Sophia smiled bitterly.

"Possibly, scared but also worried."

[—]

"Urgh...W-Where...?"

His body felt sore. He could tell he had multiple wounds based on how sore his body was. But the first thing in his sight was some weathered old wooden ceiling. The scent of...moss and dirt, also water.

"URK!" He grunted and tried to sit up but quickly heard someone running toward him.

"Careful! You suffered a broken rib!" The voice of a young woman, delicate and small hands gently pushed him back.

He turned his head and the first thing in his sight were purple and gentle eyes, looking at him worried. Thankfully he was fully conscious because before he was a long-haired silver-haired girl with streaks of black. The purple eyes belonged to her. She wore a feathered crown that reminded him of swan wings, a thin black circlet under it. For her clothing, she wore a white dress with layers of the colors purple, blue, and dark pink. As well as white gloves.

"Careful. Thankfully your wounds weren't too bad so I was able to patch you up. But you should lay back down." The girl said and he shook his head, again sitting up, and looking around.

"My sisters! Where are my sisters?! W-We were in an accident!" He yelled, again looking around but all he saw was an old room that had seen better days.

The ceiling was broken and he could see the blue sky from an opening. The walls were peeling apart. The wood creaked and he could see grass on what was once a floor.

"Where...am I?" He turned to the girl, "Who are you?" He said, weary.

"Oh! I'm Veyle. I found you here in the abandoned village. You were injured. I treated you." The woman named Veyle said and Miguel looked at her surprised, "You said you have sisters. I'm sorry but," Veyle shook her head, "you were the only one I found as well as I think maybe be your belongings." She said and pointed to the backpack and case that were at the end of the bed on the floor.

"I...I see." The man said and looked at her nervously, "Thank you...Veyle? Was it?" He said and the girl nodded, "Again, thank you. I'm Miguel." He held his hand out to her, "Nice to meet you."

Veyle looked at his hand puzzled but eventually did shake his hand a bit clumsily. Once that was done, he looked around again, confused. He most definitely wasn't in a hospital, did he end up in the woods? No, did he somehow get swept away by the current of the water?

The last memory he had was that he and his sisters were on the road. The break of his truck suddenly broke, causing him to swirl off the highway and the car to fall into a lake. He subconsciously placed his hand on his neck, the faint sting of water entering his lungs was still there. The face of terror in his sister's faces as water poured into the truck…but Veyle said she did not see anyone but him.

"How long have I been asleep?" He asked and the Veyle looked at him worried.

"Three days. Thankfully your injuries were not critical but I had to use some healing magic to fix your broken rib. You will have bruises for the next few days." Veyle said and Miguel sighed.

"Thank you. I…know this is sudden but could you answer some questions for me?" He said and Veyle nodded, "Where am I?"

"We're currently in an abandoned village near the borders of Firene and Lythos." Veyle said and Miguel's forehead furrowed, confused by the names.

"Lythos? Firene? Did I end up in a French Village?" He said and now Veyle was confused.

"French? What's that? Is that name of the place you come from?" Veyle said and Miguel looked at her stunned.

"….Is there a town nearby?" Miguel said and Veyle nodded, "How long will it take me to get there?" He said.

"Three days," Veyle said and the atmosphere was tense.

Veyle was worried that the man was becoming anxious based on how his expression was becoming emotionless but he covered his face, taking deep breaths. She could hear him muttering numbers to himself at a slow pace to calm his beating heart. She didn't know if she should get closer or…

"Can I walk?" Miguel suddenly asked and Veyle nodded, "I…need to look outside to confirm something." He said and the Veyle quickly got up to help him.

Miguel gritted his teeth as he struggled to get up, and he was limping a bit. But that wasn't going to stop him. The man pushed his way up, and Veyle was supporting him as best as she could.

"Listen, if this is difficult for you, don't do it. I'm….much taller than you." Miguel said and Veyle huffed.

"No way! I'm helping you!" Veyle said and Miguel couldn't help but chuckle a bit but nodded.

It was a bit of a struggle to get out but once they did, the first thing in Miguel's sight was a beautiful clear sky. A sky so blue and clear, unlike anything he had ever seen. He looked around, seeing some strange little creatures with wings flying around, and then circled him in Veyle. They whispered to each other before giggling and leaving. But….he whispered to Veyle to let him go.

The girl was hesitant but nodded. Carefully he took a step, taking deep breaths as his eyes slowly started to go wide. A field…a giant grass field as far as their eyes could see. Winged creatures flying in the sky and the little ones again were playing nearby. Miguel suddenly dropped to his knees, unable to say a word.

"Miguel, are you alright?" Veyle quickly ran up to him and saw his expression.

"Where…did you say we are?" He whispered, his voice was hoarse but Veyle spoke carefully.

"We are near the borders of Firene and Lythos." Veyle said and Miguel remained silent.

"Content….What is the name of the content?" Miguel said and Veyle again looked at him puzzled but answered.

"We live on the continent of Elyos. Four realms surround a holy land at its center. Firene, Kingdom of Abundance. Brodia, Kingdom of Might. Elusia, Kingdom of Knowledge. Solm, Queendom of Freedom. The Land of Lythos, home of Divine Dragons. And Gardlon, the domain of the Fell Dragon. Fallen to ruin." Veyle said and suddenly Miguel fell to his hands.

His breathing had become ragged and his eyes wide. He could hear his heart pounding in his ears. His body trembled and shook as he slowly rose his head and looked up to the sky.

"I….I…I…don't think I'm in America anymore…"

- ? —

Deep in the oasis of the desert, a magic circle appeared right above the pond. Screaming her lungs out, a young woman fell out of it and dropped into the water, scaring away any animals nearby. The young woman gasped and panted for air, and frantically swam to the nearest shore she spotted. She reached the shallow waters and crawled, and then just collapsed on the dirt. She lay there, gasping for air, trying to process everything that had just happened. She heard something coming her way and it nibbled her ear. She looked up to the side, to see a camel looking down at her. Its nose nudged her as if checking to make sure she was alive.

"Cough…" the young woman coughed and tried to get up, even if her arms felt like jelly, "I'm…okay." The young woman said and the camel snorted as she sat down.

"What…happened?" The young woman whispered, "I…was drowning. And then there was light. I was…standing in front of some altar…I saw something on it and snatched it." She whispered and looked at her hand.

There, on her middle finger, was a gold-colored ring with three gems, a black, blue, and red one in a triangle formation with a green one at the center. It had a vine engraving. The young woman stared at the ring before she felt her eyes drooping.

"No…I…can't sleep. Not…Miguel…Perla…where are you…Zzzz…" and the woman fell into a deep sleep, clutching her hands close to her chest.

The ring on her finger glowed a faint green as light surrounded her. The camel continued to chew as the light began to shape into a human form. Slender arms formed and soon the upper body, and lower, till legs and toes, all full form. Light tan skin, a gentle and slender face with their eyes closed. Long brown colored hair fading to teal, the bangs of the woman decorated with white and pink ribbons. She wore a veil at the back of her head that was held by lily flower pins.

A dark green dress with the center of the chest opened but had a black fabric, the dress was long that it covered her feet. The sides of the dress had slits and the bottom of the dress had fur. On her waist was tied a ribbon with a flower in the center. The cloth went down between her legs, covering the open part of her dress. She wore a dark green cloak with a bit of gold on it. The woman opened her eyes, revealing brown colored eyes with teal.

"How…long…have I been asleep?" The ghostly woman that appeared said sleepily and looked around till her eyes landed on the young woman on the ground, "I see…" she muttered and held her chin, "So this what Sophia was talking about…" the woman sighed and floated down, gently placing her hand on the woman's forehead.

Her hands glowed a bit and the water on the woman dried away, leaving her dry and well. She whispered a spell and made the woman float to a nearby tent. Campers of the deserts always left tents for people traveling. Once in, she gently laid her down and went back to the pond to search for anything else. She managed to find a backpack and purse, and she the things that fell out she managed to recover them. She put them near the young woman and let out a small sigh.

"So…looks like it my job now to watch over someone going through what I did."
