Ranma and the Talismans chapter 1
Author's Note: First off I would like to thank all the people on space battles that helped me come up with this idea. Special shout outs to Charon and Obloquy for your help. I hope all of you guys enjoy this story. It's my first crossover fanfiction.
However, it should be noted that with the exception of Jade, this story will be heavily Ranma 1/2 focused until the end of the Ryoga arc. luckily I have already written out the first few chapters so expect a steady release schedule for over a month.

Here's Ranma
It was your normal day at the Tendo house. The sun was shining, the birds are chirping, and Soun was crying. However, these weren't his normal tears of sadness or shame, these were tears of joy. His best friend is finally going to fulfill his promise and start to bring his dream into reality, Ranma is coming.
The words "family meeting" quickly ran through the house, followed by the Image of Soun Tendo. The man quickly found his oldest daughter Kasumi in the kitchen and his Second daughter Nabiki in her room. Although the last two occupants of the house weren't in their rooms. This was no concern to them because with the sounds of crumbling cinderblocks and wooden boards breaking the location of the last two girls was known by all.
In the Dojo two girls were practicing karate, mostly by breaking stuff. The older of the two stood by the destroyed cinder blocks, and the youngest resident of the house stood behind the remains of a few broken boards. With one last "Hiya" from the two martial artists their workout was done. The older girl began to examine Jade's work and smiled.
"Well done Jade I think you're almost ready for the next level". From these words the smaller girl lit up in joy and said, "does this mean I can start karate chopping cinder blocks Akane"! The older girl giggled a little before giving out a flat out "NO". Jade after hearing this simply let out a "ah" in disappointment.
At that moment Nabiki decided to come into the dojo and spoke with a deadpan voice. "You know Jade if you're not careful all the boys would start thinking you're as weird as Akane."
Akane gave an irritated reply to her sister, "Why should she care? Not EVERYONE in the world thinks all about BOYS, Nabiki!"
" Ok then? In that case, you wouldn't care about this news at all." Whatever Nabiki meant by that, it was enough to catch Jade and Akane's attention.

"Fiancé"
Each girl had a different reaction to this revelation as clear as day on their face.
Kasumi seemed slightly worried, but also pensive in her own unique way. Nabiki was happy and was so excited she grabbed a kimono, hoping to make a good impression. Jade was indifferent but interested in the conversation. Finally, Akane was furious, and was glaring like a bull in a matador match.
Soun Tendo had just informed his family about the engagement around the living room table, and was ready to continue his explanation.
"Yes, he is the son of a very good friend of mine, and his name is Ranma Saotome. If one of you girls were to marry him and take over the dojo, we would secure the family legacy."
An angry Akane said, "Wait just a minute! Don't we get some say in who we marry"?
"Come on Akane be optimistic. This Ranma guy might be handsome, or rich. He might even be one of the few guys that's your type". Nabiki chirped in a cheerful and optimistic tone.
"Akane has a point." Kasumi spoke up, in her usual soft spoken tone. "We've never even met Ranma."
"That's easily fixed!" Soun said, flapping a postcard he held in his hand. Jade and Nabiki quickly realized Soun was planning something, but before either of them could push forward on this topic the Tendo patriarch switch topics. "Ranma and his father have been on a training journey for years now! Recently, it seems they have just returned from China. He will be here any time now".
"Oooh, China!" Nabiki replied in a interested voice. However, in seemingly unison Jade and Akane said, "whatever, anyone could go to China."
Kasumi was the first one to ask the question that has been on everyone's mind since the family meeting began. "Father, how old is Ranma? Younger men are so... young. speaking of, what is Ranma like"?
Sound Tendo in response to this question simply laughed before replying with, "I have no idea, I have never met him before. The only things I know about Ranma came from the occasional postcard my old friend Genma sent me".
Silence and disappointment filled the air at this response before Jade finally said her two cents on the matter. "Well it appears you three are in quite the jam. I'm just glad I am excluded from this engagement".
"I wouldn't be so sure about that Jade", Soun Interjected. "If Ranma is younger than what I suspect, or if Kasumi, Nabiki, and Akane are unable to marry him it might fall on your shoulders to become Ranma's fiancé". Jade began to glare in a way that was eerily similar to Nabiki and Akane before replying with, "Well I know my mom and your sister wouldn't approve of me being married to a guy we have never met before. Especially when she is still angry about the Panty incident, uncle Soun".
Soun took a few fearful steps back before responding with, "you know about the panty incident, and Site still remembers that"?!
Jade moved her head up and down and said, "Yes she still talks about it. Although, she refuses to discuss about the panty incident when I am in the room, but over the years I have piece together what had happened when she thought I wasn't in hearing range". However, before Jade could talk about an event that's scarred Soun and his sister for life a ruckus began to irrupt from the entrance of the house.
Soun in joy began to run towards the entrance while shouting, "Saotome, my friend have I ever told you how good your timing is!" The second to react was Nabiki, but before she ran to the entrance she whispered into Jades ear, "tell me that story later". Jade and Akane were about to follow after them, but before they could they saw Soun and Nabiki coming back with a panda close behind them. To make matters stranger there was a person slung over the animal shoulders.
"Put me down! You're scarin' em spitless!" The mysterious redhead exclaimed. This statement was true on all the residence faces, with the exception of Jade who looked excited. "Uncle Soun is this your friend, and if so why didn't you tell me your best friend was a panda before"?! Soun was so shocked by the panda's arrival all he could do is shake his head from side to side.
After a few seconds of silence, the panda finally put its passenger down. Soun and the new arrival stared at each other for a brief but notable moment. Looking down at her, clearly in confusion Soun said, "You... wouldn't happen to be...". "Ranma Saotome," the person mumbled, fingers fidgeting with their braided pigtail. "Sorry 'bout this."
With those simple words the father of three expression did a 180. "You've come at last!" Soun shouted enthusiastically, clasping onto his future son-in-law shoulders. "Ooh, he is definitely cute!" Nabiki remarked from behind her father with a slight blush. After hearing this remark Soun pulled the anxious Ranma into a bear hug, and said, "It's so good of you to come! So-". Partway through his sentence the man felt something was off. Pulling away Soun took a closer examination of the red head in front of him. Specifically the two bulges on their chest.
Taking a few steps forward Nabiki started taking a more thorough and hands on examination of Ranma chest. "Yep firm real retail price worthy breasts". These words caused an instant and dramatic reaction from Soun, he fainted.

Five minutes later
"I think he's finally coming to. Poor father he must be so disappointed" Kasumi said. Nabiki followed up with, "He's disappointed! Some fiancé this is! You should have at least checked to make sure Ranma was at the very least a boy"!
In response to the middle child complaint Soun started crying his normal tears of sadness before saying, "I assumed my friend Genma's SON was a boy!"
Nabiki angrily said, "does this look like a boy to you? Our fiancé has a body that any girl would love to have". To emphasize her point, she felt Ranma's chest again. In response Ranma said in a very annoyed voice, "can you please stop that"!
The only one happy about the situation is Akane. With Nabiki mad and Kasumi busy helping their father it fell to her to salvage the situation. Luckily she had a idea to do just that.
In the sweetest voice she could muster Akane said to Ranma "Hey, you want to go to the practice hall? I'm Akane, do you want to be friends"? Ranma simply smiled and said, "sure". With these words Akane, Ranma, and Jade went into the dojo.
When inside Akane said, "you study Kempo, right"? Ranma replied with, "a little". Smirking the youngest Tendo daughter continued with "then let's have a little match, okay? Just for fun. I promise I won't hurt you. Besides Jade could be the referee if things get to heated". The redhead simply shrugged her shoulders and said, "sure if you say so".
Akane got into an offensive stance, while Ranma casually put her hands behind her back. Jade yelled "begin" and the black haired Akane launched fourth like a rocket and attempted to land a powerful punch, but the redhead simply jumped over it. The black haired girl then attempted a kick, but Ranma easily avoided the attack. Akane then unleashed a fury of punches and kicks hoping that quantity over quality will do the trick, but Ranma just kept on bobbing and weaving to avoid all her strikes.
Ranma remain quiet, but Akane was a little more vocal, "what's wrong? attack me"! All Jade could say about the fight so far was "wow". The fight continued as is with Ranma dodging every attack and the black haired girl continuously getting more tired and frustrated.
When Akane took a second to catch her breath Jade spoke up, "Ranma is predicting all of your moves, it would be a good idea to try something different". This statement broke the camel's back, at the top of her lungs Akane shouted "don't you think I know that", as she ran forward and attempted her strongest punch against her pink tailed opponent. However, all she managed to do is get her arm stuck in the wall and give Ranma an opening to somersault over Akane to land a gentle poke on the back of her head.
Jade after seeing this called the match, "Ranma Saotome wins, and can you show me some of those moves. I would love to move like that in a fight". The two teenagers at that moment couldn't help but get into a laughing fit. Nearing the end of their giggling the red haired girl managed to squeak out "sure kid, sure". When Akane was done laughing she had to speak up about her thoughts that have been running through her mind for a little while now. "you're pretty good. I'm just glad you're a girl. It's just… I will really hate to lose to a boy".
Ranma Saotome couldn't help but sweat more about that one line then in the entirety of their fight. "If you were a boy Akane would likely be planning on hitting you in the back with a table right now". Akane couldn't help but laugh again a Jade's nonchalant answer. "She's not wrong, I would probably do that if I was angry enough". The red haired girl couldn't help but gulp at that answer.

"I am sorry Ranma, but with our guest room currently being occupied you'll be forced to sleep in the dojo during your stay here. But I am sure based off the way you were getting along with Akane and Jade that one of them would be willing to have you as a roommate". Ranma dejectedly replied with, "I doubt that will happen'. Kasumi still as sweet as ever attempted to lift their guest spirits. "They are sweet girls and I am sure they'll do something nice for you. Now wouldn't you like to take a bath"
Ranma hearing these words quickly replied with, "huh? No! I mean it's okay". However, Kasumi insisted, and when Kasumi insist on something it's hard to refuse. "No it's not! You must be all sweaty from your workout"! And just like that Ranma was about to take a hot bath before they knew what was going on.
As Ranma was in the bath, contemplating what to do next, the youngest Tendo daughter at that moment decided to take a bath herself. Seeing Ranma's clothes in the hamper Akane thought, "Ranma wouldn't mind sharing a bath" as she walked in. Completely ignoring the do not disturb sign. When she entered she didn't see a red haired girl, but instead a completely naked black haired boy. Taking a second to notice she herself was naked Akane calmly close the door.
Akane with unusual calmness put her karate gi back on and exited the laundry room. She stood in the hallway, alarm bells slowly turning on in her mind. Then all of her bottled up panic came out at once, and she screamed at a volume no one knew Akane could reach.

Meanwhile in the netherworld:
The bored sky demon approached his brother, hoping to alleviate his boredom, and asked Tso Lan, "What do you want to do today? Do you want to Watch the dimensional viewing screen again, or do you want to…"? However, before the demon could finish his question the sounds of a human girl could be heard over the horizon for a few brief seconds. Hsi Wu then asked his brother, "was it me or did you hear a human scream"?
Tso lan simply rolled his eyes at his sibling, and answered, "you would have better luck hearing human screams on the moon then in this cursed dimension". The sky demon simply shrugged his shoulders and replied with, "I guess I just miss hearing humans scream in terror. Let's just cast a spell and watch a reality were the eight immortals get torn limb from limb, again".

Back at the human realm, Tendo Home.
Akane was sprinting down the hallway, not stopping until she reached the yard. Mumbling and contemplating murderous intent until she saw the heaviest thing around, a stone lantern. With unchecked anger coursing through her veins she ripped the top off the stone construct and said, "I am going to beat him to a pulp!"
Jade seeing Akane like this inquisitively and nervously asked, "Akane what's going on, and what are you doing?" With rage evident on every inch on her body Akane replied with, "there's a pervert in the bathtub and I am going to kill him with the heaviest thing I can find".
Kasumi hearing this seemed worried. "Oh I do hope Ranma's alright. I thought she was in there taking a bath right now". The boy in question decided to come down at that moment and reveal himself fully dressed in the same outfit as the red head, and said his first words of the night. "I'm Ranma Saotome, sorry about this".

A few moments later
After successfully calming down Akane to a consistent angry glare, everyone in the household gathered in the living room ready to hear the explanation as to who this new man with glasses is, and who is Ranma. The father of the Tendo family started with the introductions with his old friend Genma, the man with glasses. Followed up with his black haired son Ranma.
The girls muttered to themselves how it was even possible, and even if the boy in front of them was the girl they met a few hours ago. "It's such a long story I don't know where to begin. I suppose it is best to start with a visual demonstration". With those words said Genma through the male Ranma into the koi pond and from the water came the same red haired girl from before, but understandably angry at her father.
Each of the house occupants gasped, staring in disbelief at Ranma's transformation. Even Akane's anger seemed to have faded for now. "I am so ashamed I can't even bear to see My son like this. How humiliating". This comment apparently pushed Ranma over the edge and she kicked Genma into the pond, and said, "Who are you to talk?! My father is a panda"! With this said the two began fighting.
"Father, have your friends always been this way?" Hearing his eldest daughter's words Soun had to correct her. "No. Genma, at least, wasn't like this before. This is the fault of some horrific training exercise back in China".
When the girls were hearing Soun's words the two Saotomes had successfully leapt into the bathing room and walked back in calmer and in their human male forms. Ready to continue their explanation.

After swimming across the Sea of Japan and then hiking across China. The two found themselves in the Bayankala Mountain range of the Qinghai Province of China. Nestled within the mountains laid a small valley filled with bam boo polls, and pools of water of various different sizes. This mysterious place is known as Jusenkyo. Ranma and his father were seeking to improve their craft and journey to the legendary cursed training grounds.
In broken Japanese the Jusenkyo guide attempted to warn them about the danger they were in, but thanks to a combination of stubbornness and excitement the martial artist ignored the man's forewarnings. The father and son duo jumped onto the bamboo poles to finally begin their training. The two were so entranced by their sparring match the guides words might as well been no different than a distant cicada. Yet the two would regret not giving the guide the respect he deserved, and not taking the man's words to heart.
In less than a minute of fighting Ranma had successfully knocked his father into a pool of water. An angry black and white bear quickly rose from the depths of the Spring of Drowned Panda ready to continue the fight. Ranma was so shocked at what happened to his father Genma was able to knock his son into a pool before he himself realized the transformation. Ranma himself fell into the spring of drowned girl.
Ever since then the two of them have been under their own respective transformation curses.
Genma can now eat as much bamboo as he wants and has hair, but cannot walk in public without causing a ruckus.
Meanwhile Ranma obtained a form of a hot girl, with all the benefits and drop backs it brings. On top of this Ranma in female form lost a Half a foot in height and a decent amount of strength. Although despite his reluctance to admit it in his female form Ranma is at a completely other level of speed and agility.

After hearing the story Soun was the first to speak up. "The legendary Ground of Cursed Springs. Jusenkyo true horror has always been shrouded in mystery, until now."
"'True horror.' What's the idea, dragging me to that awful place like that anyway? Old man…" Ranma words were immediately cut off by his father as he sent his son flying into the Koi pond once again, before replying with, "you sound like a girl. Were you not prepared to give your life for the art?! All Ranma could do after hearing this is splash her father with cold water. Right before angrily shouting, "my life sure, but my manhood is a different story".
Just like that the redhead and panda were fighting like children once again. Kasumi and Nabiki where more than ready to chew out Genma for doing something so dumb and foolish. It's not often that Kasumi gets mad or try to scold someone, but this situation more than qualifies as one of those occasions. "Whatever made you do something so dangerous"?! The oldest Tendo daughter shouted.
All the panda could do was hand her a small guidebook and map about training grounds. It only took the girls a moment to realize what the panda was saying, "you can't read Chinese, Mr. Saotome"?! The panda gave the closest thing he could do to a thumbs up, and with that simple action the four girls low opinion about Genma's intelligent just dropped even further. All The four girls could do was shake their heads, as Kasumi handed the booklet to Jade.
Soun at that moment decided to pour boiling water from a tea kettle onto the panda's head. Genma shifted back to his human form almost instantly as he panted in pain. "So, when doused with hot water, you return to human form". Soun after this statement set his eyes on Ranma. "When doused with cold water you turn into a girl, but Hot water turns you back into a boy"! The Tendo patriarch moved his arm forward, attempting to catch Ranma with the boiling water, but the boy turned girl successfully avoided the scolding liquid. "Hot water! Not boiling!" Ranma shouted fearing being burned.
Jade at that moment felt like she needed to speak up. "To be fair to Mr. Saotome this book and map does have a lot of really good training locations, and it even provides tips on how to get the most from your stay in those spots. However, you still have to be an idiot not to realize the danger of Jusenkyo and that you two were training there in the worst possible way just based off the images alone. The book even states The best way to improve in martial arts there is to visit the settlements neighboring Jusenkyo, not the actual springs themselves".
After a night of confusing the Tendo family it was apparently time for the Saotomes to be confused. With shocked looks on their faces Genma said, "weight you can read Chinese kid"?! Jade shook her head up and down and replied with, "哒。我当然能读懂我的母语" (Da. of course I could read my native language).
Soun couldn't help but chuckle at this as he gave an explanation, "Jade here is my niece from Hong Kong". That explanation seems to have satisfied the two curse victims as Genma said, "I, see that makes a lot of sense. This also explains why you never said you had a fourth kid". However, after saying this confusion returned to Genma's face full force. "You have a niece"?! Soun quickly elaborated, "You remember my sister Site old friend"? "Yes, I think I do. If my memory serves me right you two weren't getting along very well, and she was dating a man from China".
"You are correct so far Genma. However, not long after we last met with the master and parted ways she married that man and moved to Hong Kong. I hadn't heard a single word from her for years since then". Tears began to water down the man's face as he continued. "However, a month or two ago, that changed. Jade here had been miss behaving in school, and her grades had been slipping, with the exception of foreign languages. Hoping to help Jade improve, her parents decided to send their daughter to live with her dear uncle Soun. I hope if I can help Jade improve and take good care of her, I might be able to get back into Site's good graces".
Taking a brief cough Soun decided to get the most important topic of today's events (in the two fathers opinions) back on track. Patting the young Saotome shoulders he said, "your problem isn't so bad after all. My eldest daughter Kasumi is 19 and an excellent cook. My second daughter Nabiki, is 17 and is a financial wizard. My third daughter Akane is 16 and is a great martial artist. Pick which ever one you want and she will become your new fiancé".
Wanting to avoid becoming Ranma's fiancé the two elder sisters spoke first. "Pick Akane, she is the wisest choice". "I can't agree more ". Akane was shocked by her sister's words and said, "you two must be joking, why would I be…" Nabiki was almost too eager to answer her sisters question. "Well you hate boys right"? Akane couldn't really argue with those words, "well yes but..." before she could finish her weak defense Kasumi spoke up once more, "so you're in luck Ranma is half girl".
Akane quickly realized she was being double teamed, and she couldn't beat either of her sisters individually in an argument like this. Meanwhile, her father is completely impartial as to which of the girls will be Ranma's fiancé. Luckily there was still one member of the family she could get help from, and she has a legendary quick wit, and superb out-of-the-box thinking skills. The youngest Tendo quickly whispered to Jade, "help me here, and I'll help you learn any one martial arts technique you want. No questions asked".
With those words spoke Jade's mind quickly went into overdrive to help her cousin Akane. However, the only solution she could think of then and there would bite her in the butt later, but Jade knew it was worth it. The girl from Hong Kong spoke up, "I personally think the choice is obvious. Nabiki should be Ranma's future wife".
A moment of silence occurred, and once Jade knew she had everyone's full attention she continued. "Nabiki is the only Tendo sister who has ever shown an interest in the fiancé idea, and as shown any positive interest into Ranma's looks in both forms". Nabiki attempted to dilute Jade's claims by saying, "don't be absurd Jade. I never had any interest in Ranma, Akane seem to be getting along with Saotome-San earlier, and besides the knowledge of the curse has altered my views on the engagement".
Just like that Nabiki has fallen into Jade-Chan's trap and she still has plenty of cards left to play. "Don't be ridiculous Nabiki-sama, we all saw you grab Ranma's breast at least twice, and If my memory serves me right you did say 'Ooh, he is definitely cute!". Nabiki couldn't help but wince at this, and Jade knew this is her best chance to keep up the offensive. "like you said your views on the engagement have changed, but who's to say your views aren't the only ones who have changed, and that your new views aren't positive. You Nabiki Tendo seem to be getting along with Ranma more now than earlier, and we all know Akane is wanting to punch Ranma in the face for something she did, and that Ranma has no control over".
Soun decided now was the best time to butt in to keep this argument from continuing, or escalating. "I suppose there is no rush to come to a decision now. Why not make the final decision sometime in the future, when our kids know each other better? So until Ranma chooses one of my daughters or until the girls work it out themselves Nabiki and Akane will simultaneously be treated as Ranma's fiancé".
Silence fill the Tendo training hall at this revelation, until a clueless Genma came to congratulate his friend. "Well done Tendo that decision should solve all of our problems and then some". The two angry sisters couldn't help but say "WHAT" in unison." You can't be serious Daddy" Nabiki blurted out. Followed by her sister Akane "Me? Marry that pervert?! Never!
Apparently that last word pressed one of the part time red heads buttons. "Whaddya mean 'pervert'!?" Akane turned toward her new fiancé and said, "you looked at my naked body"! "Hold it! You were the one that walked in on me! And where I was standing you took a pretty good look yourself. I even put up a sign to try and prevent that situation from happening!" The youngest Tendo daughter ignore the last part of that sentence, and flippantly replied with, "It's different when a girl sees a boy!"
Their two fathers couldn't help but laugh at the two arguing. Soun even joked that, "they are already a perfect couple". Still angry Akane use this as an opportunity to lay another insult onto Ranma, "he's a couple by himself"! All Ranma could do after that was say, "Goodbye. I am heading back to China. At least there I stand a chance at finding a way to turn back for good".
"Before I go Akane, It's no big deal for me to see a naked girl. I mean, I've seen myself plenty of time before right, and it's obvious I'm better built to boot". The red head then turned around and started laughing as she walked away. After this Ranma quickly learned the phrase, "never insult Akane and expect to leave unscathed".
Akane in her anger grabbed a table and smashed it against Ranma. Still mad the girl did the same thing two times more, before angrily marching away. When the rest of them finally got the table off of him the gender bender was out cold.

When Ranma awoke, the first thing she noticed was the pillow her head was pressed on to. Quickly getting up the redhead saw Kasumi, Nabiki, and Jade were all present waiting for him to awaken. However, Ranma quickly grabbed the back of his head and winced in pain.
Kasumi seeing their guest has awakened kindly asked, "are you OK"? Ranma hesitantly replied with, "Yeah, I think I'm fine..." "Please don't think too badly about Akane. She's really a very sweet girl, she's just a little... high spirited. Although, if my younger sister loses her temper she is just a violent maniac". How Kasumi could say that last line in such a sweet and nonchalant voice is something Ranma will never know. "Nabiki couldn't help but roll her eyes at Kasumi's words and said "sure Kasumi that explains everything".
Just wanting to return to his normal body and let some stress out with a nice warm bath Ranma started walking to the washroom with Jade close behind. However, thanks to her headache and newfound thought swirling through his head Ranma didn't notice.
In his mind Ranma thought, "What type of girl is she anyway? She's not half bad at fighting, and her strength is nothing to joke around about. However, the thing that annoys me the most is she abandon that promise of friendship the moment she found out I'm a boy". However, before Ranma could enter the washroom Jade warned Ranma, "I wouldn't do that if I were you. Akane is taking a bath, and has the nasty habit of forgetting to put up and looking out for the do not disturb sign".
Ranma eyes widen for a brief second at Jade's arrival, before Ranma started mumbling her frustrations, "first the fiancés, then the headache, and now I can't even enjoy a good bath to wrap up my day". Ranma at that point simply decided to head downstairs, wait for the tea kettle to produce more hot water to wrap up his crummy day.
Luckily Jade wasn't willing to let Ranma's first day at the Tendo home to end on such a low note. When Ranma finally reunited with his father Jade decided now was as good time as any to reveal her secret. "You know today isn't the first time I saw magic before. My Uncle is actually a very good chi wizard".
Ranma's eyes widened into dinner plates at this information. Meanwhile the part time panda simply scoffed and said, "if Tendo was some sort of wizard I would have known about it". Jade simply rolled her eyes and said, "not uncle Soun, my uncle Uncle. I'm not quite sure how I'm related to him, or his actual name. But, I am still a blood relative of his".
"Apparently Uncle in his younger days Studied under one of the most notable Chinese chi wizards of the past century, Chi master Fong. So if anyone's capable of helping you with your curses it would be Uncle". Ranma's mood immediately brightened at the news, but it was the excited Genma who spoke first, "come on then let's meet this guy before I turn into a panda again".
Jade was glad to see Ranma was happy again, but sadly she cannot grant their request immediately. The girl held up both her hands and said" whoa, hold your horses mr. Saotome. Uncle lives all the way in San Francisco, so he is likely sound asleep right now. Meaning I won't be able to tell him about your curses until morning".
Genma let out an exhale and replied "I suppose, me and the boy can live with this curse for a little while longer". With that said the man took a deep yawn and walked away to play a quick game of Shogi with his old friend. Just like that their were only two.
"You know Ranma despite everything that happened today I still think you're pretty cool, and I still want you to show me some of those moves of yours". The current red head blinked at Jade's words in slight confusion. "Are you sure about that Jade. I don't want you to get on your cousin Akane's bad side or anything". The raven haired girl couldn't help but giggle at that before saying, "she gets angry at a lot of things, and I have picked up a few tips from Kasumi and Nabiki on how to avoid my sensei's wrath, and before you ask I don't think they will work in your situation. So what do you say want to be friends"?
Ranma couldn't help but smile at this before shaking the girl's hand and saying, "I would definitely like to be your friend Jade".
First off I feel like I should warn you guys and gals that Uncle won't appear until chapter 6, and the Talismans will start popping up after that. This is because of the fact based off of what I have planned I won't be able to properly introduce him until after the Ryoga arc.
However, to make up for this I have a few special plans involving Jade to help keep things interesting and fresh for the Ryoga and kuno arcs. Such as the fact Jade was able to put Nabiki into the fiancé race.
As for why I did it, it's because I haven't yet decided what the main pairing should be, and I have no interest in figuring that out right away. This is because of the fact I want to figure out which Pairing feels the best by writing Ranma's interactions with his many fiancés plus Nabiki and Kodachi first. I don't want to obsess over one specific pairing before I begin writing Ranma's interactions with all the girls in his life.
