"Babe.. You're back.." Makaria said.
Thanatos enters the room gloomly in a deepened mood. He wears a black cloak around his shoulders with a golden armour beneath it. He has kaleidoscopic eyes that changes colours, similar to Aphrodite. One could say he is the most beautiful man ever existed.
"Must you always speak in the dialect of the mortals all the time, 'Karia?" He asked tentatively at Makaria.
"I live amongst their dead. Can't help it when I pick a slang or two, dear.." She said.
Thanatos turned to us.
"Hello my favourite nephew." I said smiling at him.
"Hello Thanatos." Konohamaru greeted.
"Since when did I became your favourite nephew, Aunt May?"
"Since Cupid used my heart for target practice."
"Oh"
"How did you find Balthazar's location?" Konohamaru asked.
"Well Uncle, he has been in our "Capture Immediately" list as we got reports of him frequently escaping the death's plane. We think he is using some ancient sorcery to escape from it. Perhaps the Kane dagger which he must have stolen from Evlora Botticelli's tomb. Evlora had been it's safe keeper ever since she discovered the dagger from the ruins of the Kane Ancestral tombs." Thanatos said.
"Wait.. Great-grandmother stole a dagger from my mom's clan?" I asked
"Actually, the Kanes wanted to protect their dagger. So they asked someone outside the clan to safeguard it. Unfortunately that failed." Makaria sulked.
"Apparently the Grim Reapers are currently under my command and I have asked them to secretly scout the Moors. They found Balthazar's lair being protected by controlled pedophilic and gerontophilic demons. Both succubi and incubi respectively. It's as if they are expecting the both of you. They have these bands around their necks that controls their urges and every action they make." Thanatos said.
"There is also a chance that he is gonna split as two. The Balthazar side in him will use his demons in here to fight us and the Danzo side in him will unleash the dead above ground at Konoha. He has double grudges." I said.
"This is a total pain in the neck." Konohamaru said irritatingly.
"We can make the dead of Konoha fight Shimura's dead under Uncle Amnesté's command. He also used to be a Grim Reaper. We can make Uncle Keethan and Amnesté take care of the ones above and we can take care of the things right here, downstairs." I reasoned.
"That's a good idea, Aunt May!" Makaria said.
"The Good Konohan dead can fight above. We can use the rest of the dead in here to ward of the demons." Konohamaru said.
"Good strategy." I said.
"How can we stop Balthazar from escaping from the death's plane all the time and destroy him once and for all?" Makaria asked.
"The Botticelli Dagger." I said
"What?" Konohamaru asked.
"The Botticelli Dagger. It's the dagger that belonged to the ancestral god, Than. It ensures complete extermination of the person it stabs. Instant blistered-to-smithereens killing. No reincarnation. No reanimation."
"Well, where is it?" Thanatos asked.
"It was hidden in Great-grandfather Adamantine's tomb. I guess I could just teleport back to Kathedral and ask for it from him, since he is back alive.." I said.
"Wait. He is back from the dead?" Konohamaru asked.
"Yep. Uncle Amnesté told me. And you're not gonna believe who he got reincarnated as in Konoha?" I said.
"Who?" Konohamaru asked.
"Well, obviously, Shikamaru Oji-chan's dad of course!"
"Shikaku-san?" He asked.
"Yep." I said.
"That's predictable."
"Anyway I guess we made a plan for now. Aunt May, you are to go to Kathedral with Uncle Bambi to get the Botticelli Dagger. I grant you permission to leave Spades." Makaria said.
"Thank you, Makaria." I said.
"You are to leave this instant and to return ASAP!" Maka said.
"There she goes again with the mortal words.." Thanatos muttered.
I created a portal in the conference room and took Aka's hand. We said our goodbyes to Makaria and Thanatos and entered the purple vortex.
