'Elena,' Jenna said as she and Alaric walked downstairs, 'have you been sitting up all night?'
'No,' I lied, stretching, 'I woke up early.'
'I'll get breakfast started.'
Jenna went into the kitchen, and Alaric sat next to me. 'Have they come home yet?'
'No.' I groaned, 'I can't believe she's been carrying pictures of my birth mother and the man who might be my birth father this whole time. How could she keep this from me?'
