I'm alive!

Hi everyone, just to update as you must have noticed by now.

That I am still posting and uploading stories.

The last year has not been easy at all, there were many things from my side that took away and almost destroyed any motivation or desire to write anything at all. One of the big reasons I was able to get back to all of the writing was because of 'JRC1700's' help. Thank you so much brother!

I also went through all my notes and stories, and I intend to update all of them. Yes, even the ones I haven't updated in a long time. I know you had to wait a long time for some of them and I intend to change that. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the episode and the ones to come after.

And just to add... yeah, it has been a looong time since I uplode this one, a few bad things have kept me from being able to focus on them... but I did have a chance to get back into things.

I hope you enjoy and don't forget to tell me what you think!

Chapter 5: The Reveal

Morning had come, the young Stoppable currently on his way to school. His little visit from the brunette cheerleader last night left him smirking at the future, the only thing holding Ron back a little was the apprehension that someone would raise an eyebrow if he was seeing smiling so soon after his little breakup with Possible. They would consider it odd… it wasn't like he had a new girl to bury the sorrow he was supposed to be feeling.

Ron still couldn't believe how lucky he'd been, that her idiot of a father had goaded him into breaking things off with his daughter… all he'd needed was an opportunity. If Ron had done it any other way, then Possible would have demanded a reason and tried to dig deeper… until she uncovered the truth concerning his change.

But now? It was already too late for that…

He continued on his way to school, already planning his next move, when Ron noticed someone was approaching him. He focused on the girls walking towards him- but unlike last time… it wasn't Monique, or Possible.

Ron watched with interest as several members of the cheer squad advanced with Bonnie at the fore. 'Already, eh? Someone's rather eager…' Ron mused, holding his smirk back as best he could. "Fancy meeting you all this morning… you as well, Bonnie…" he commented calmly.

The brunette glanced away for a moment, trying to find the right words. Her eyes hardened, confident with the other girls behind her. "I heard you and Red are no longer an item…" she remarked, stating the obvious.

"What can I say… it just didn't work out…" Ron shrugged, playing it down as much as he could.

"I-I see…" Bonnie bit her lip. "S-So… you doing anything a-after school?" the brunette asked, the rest of the squad staring at her as if she'd just grown a second head.

"After school? Not really… If your offering… how can I say no?" Ron smiled charmingly, disrupting the cheer squad's formation to walk next to Bonnie.

The girl matched Ron's stride right beside him, leaving the brunette's posse behind… frozen in their tracks.

The rest of the girls, along with several additional students in the area, stared dumbfounded at what'd just happened. The inactivity lasted at least several seconds, before the cheerleaders rushed after the Queen B. As soon as they caught up, the girls noticed that the brunette girl was walking rather close to the blonde boy.

"Not yet…" Ron cautioned quietly, Bonnie inching her hand away from his in response.

"R-Right, okay…" she acquiesced softly.

"You're very eager, aren't you?" he teased, leaning in close and whispering in her ear. "I like that…"

The brunette cheerleader slowly nodded, unable to hide how red she was. Why was it that Ron had this effect on her? It'd started when he proved he didn't care about Bonnie at all, even insulting her… but it couldn't be only that!

There were a LOT of people that annoyed the Queen B more than Ron did, even some who'd insulted Bonnie to her face like he had. But none of them had this sort of effect on her… it was just so HOT to see Stoppable (of all people) acting this way towards her.

Bonnie just couldn't help herself!

You couldn't help but be attracted to certain people… and apparently, she was to this new Ron… Very much so, in fact.

And he'd apparently noticed… annoyingly so, it was probably why he was so smug right now. Try as he might to hide it and act normally… she knew and noticed instantly.

All Bonnie had to do was wait for the rumors to spread, then she'd have him all to herself. Why did that make her feel so excited?!

'Just wait until I get used to this, you…' Bonnie growled silently, letting their onlookers do her job for her.

X-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-X

The young hacker was busily working on his latest project in the most efficient way possible. He'd had a lot more work after his friends' breakup, in the form of handing off the updates and tips he obtained concerning their usual baddies to Global Justice.

It wasn't perfect, but at the very least it helped things stay peaceful until Wade's team worked out their issues.

'That is, I hope they do…' he pondered, typing as fast as he could. It was no secret that he'd been rooting for his friends to get together since the very beginning. Hearing about Ron tackling missions on his own and just how devastated Kim was?

It was enough to leave Wade very worried about what might happen to their team. He shook the thoughts from his mind. 'No… it won't come to that. Even if they stop dating, they'll still be friends… right?'

The boy's phone started ringing and he answered it without even looking, he was that busy.

"Hallo? Wade?" asked a familiar voice, he instantly froze for a moment.

"Monique?" he replied, resuming his typing. "What's going on? Sorry if I sound a little distracted… I've been pretty swamped since…"

"Ron broke things off with Kim… Yeah, I know…" she finished.

"Yeah… so, you heard about it too?" Wade replied, hoping that his friends had worked things out while he wasn't looking.

"Hard not to… he kinda told me himself" the fashionista explained. Monique recalled being so shocked at the time that she'd screamed it out loud, in the middle of the hallway, and probably made things worse.

"I'm sure that, if we give them some time, things will go back to normal…" Wade soothed, hoping to cheer up the raven-haired teen.

"I'm… not so sure about that…" Monique replied in an odd tone.

The young genius stopped typing, glancing towards his phone. "What? Why not?" He didn't understand what she was saying, they'd been best friends for so long, nothing could break their bond.

"It's just that… Let's just say that I was going to talk to Naco-boy, make him see reason… and I saw someone else with him…" the girl explained.

"Someone else?"

"Y-Yeah… I wasn't sure if I should say anything about it at first, but then I saw them together again today… now I'm not sure what to think…" Monique sounded distressed about the whole thing.

"Maybe Ron just didn't want to walk alone? He might have gotten used to walking with Kim-" he suggested before she cut him off.

"With Bonnie, of all people?"

'What?' Wade fumbled for a moment, picking up the dropped phone. "You mean to tell me that it was BONNIE, of all people, he was walking with?"

"Yeah, but not just that… She also came to visit him at his house, last night." Monique recalled seeing the girl dressed to impress, like she was going to meet a business associate… or her boyfriend.

Which only made things odder still…

Wade was silent for a few moments, the information he'd gotten from Monique all jumbled up in his head. It contradicted everything he knew about his blonde friend.

Why did his friends get into a fight? How did Ron find the time to talk to Bonnie? Why get angry at Kim all of a sudden? Why take a mission all by himself? When had these changes started?

While his mind kept asking questions, one seemed more important than the others.

'What made him change?' the hacker wondered.

"Wade? You still there?" the girl on the other side asked, snapping the boy from his thoughts.

"Y-Yeah, I just thought- …no, it can't…" he trailed off, staring at his keyboard. "I'll talk to you later, there's something I need to check" he swore, typing furiously.

"Okay, I'll keep you posted if there's any changes…"

"Please do, I have a bad feeling that I may have overlooked something…" he explained, before hanging up. "Something REALLY important…"

The boy got a response almost instantly, a video feed of an older woman who looked quite busy appearing on his screen. "What is it? It's not another attack by Dementor, is it?" Betty asked tiredly.

She had never imagined just how much trouble the baddies Team Possible dealt with on a regular basis could cause her agents, Shego alone was an absolute nightmare!

"No, it's nothing like that… I just need access to some video feeds" the boy explained.

"Wha- video feeds? What kind?" the older spy asked, unsure why Wade would ask this of her. Couldn't he just hack his way into what he needed?

"The ones from our- I mean, Kim and Ron's last mission. You know, the one with Team Go" he elaborated.

Betty was used to collecting information, not giving it away. However, Wade was an ally to both her and Global Justice- as well as a member of Team Possible. Nevertheless, she still had her own interest at heart.

"Fine… but I want to know why…" she bargained.

"Thank you… hopefully, with this, I'll be able to see what happened…" he replied without thinking.

"Is this about your team splitting up?" the eyepatch-wearing woman asked.

"Yeah… I'm trying to understand why it all happened and how to fix it…"

Betty fell silent for a few seconds. "If you're working to solve this, I'll help in whatever way I can…" she promised. Team Possible was essential, as far as she was concerned.

"I will and thank you again, Doctor!" he exclaimed. Wade dropped everything else he'd been working on, focusing on the files he had just obtained from Global Justice.

If Wade was right, the answer was hiding somewhere in there.

School having ended, the blonde Stoppable left with his new addition- a brunette cheerleader. This time they weren't accompanied by the rest of the squad, Bonnie having shooed them away as soon as she had the chance.

"Keeping me all to yourself, eh?" Ron joked.

"Hardly… I just don't want you getting any ideas about the rest of them…" she muttered as they walked together.

"Mmm… shame, and here I was looking forward to having more eye candy, I guess I'll have to settle for you…" Ron shot back with a lecherous tone that didn't fit him.

Bonnie's spine tingled in excitement at his words. If anyone else had said that, or even something close to it, she would have flipped and strangled them. But coming from him? God, she almost couldn't take it!

It was the real reason that Bonnie had encouraged her entourage to get lost, she didn't want them seeing her acting like… well, this! Like an awestruck fangirl alongside her crush.

"Are we f-far enough away now?" she asked shakily.

Ron glanced at her, then around, determining if they were indeed as alone as he hoped they were.

The blonde didn't see anyone… but he felt eyes watching them, someone he couldn't see…

'So, someone somewhat skilled, eh?' he mused, grinning to himself, pondering who it could be.

"Don't laugh… y-you promised…" his companion pouted, obviously concluding that he was reacting to her.

Ron glanced at Bonnie, snaking an arm around her hip and pulling the brunette closer to him. While it could be Kim, it was highly unlikely… she would have made her presence known long ago. And if it was someone else? Well… they'd just think he'd moved on from the redheaded girl.

"O-Oh… mmm~" Bonnie moaned as Ron pulled her against him and kissed her deeply. It only lasted a few seconds, but that was enough to leave her breathless and gasping for air.

"There… now aren't you glad you listened to me?" Ron teased, keeping his eyes on the brunette but still feeling that foreign gaze. 'So, it's not Possible like I thought… a bit disappointing…' It only left him more curious as to the identity of said observer.

"Y-Yes…" Bonnie answered shakily, still in his grip. She rested her palms against Ron's chest, a misty look in her teal eyes.

"Good girl…" he whispered, making her smile. "Now, why don't you find us somewhere to sit? There's something I need to do…" Ron requested, releasing her from his grip.

Bonnie looked at him for a moment before she simply obeyed, moving away.

He'd seriously considered slapping her pert, little ass but decided against it. 'Too soon…' he concluded, simply watching Bonnie walk away. Ron was very much enjoying the view.

"Having fun spying on me?" the blonde teen suddenly asked, feeling someone walking up behind him very quietly.

"I should be asking you if you are having fun with your new girl… who is she?" asked the familiar voice of Electronique.

"I am… and she's just my replacement for Possible. After all, I'm still healing after our breakup…" he chuckled to himself before turning to face her.

"Yes, I've heard about that… GJ is having a real problem dealing with villains, now that you're not working with Possible…" she responded.

The older woman was dressed inconspicuously for once, seeing as she was in public and didn't want to draw attention to herself. Gone was her tall and sparkly hair, courtesy of a wig, a pair of square glasses substituted for her bulky goggles. Instead of her trademark bodysuit Electronique wore a long-sleeved white blouse, paired with a dark blue suit jacket and a matching pencil skirt with black stockings.

Ron thought she looked like a new teacher, or perhaps a secretary for some bigshot CEO. A bit like Shego when she'd been turned good, funnily enough. He whistled in approval at her new look. "You clean up nicely… I assume that you're here to give me an answer, right?"

The older woman glanced away, a bit embarrassed by his flirtatious attitude, before Electronique turned serious. "Yes… I am…" she admitted.

"As expected, I thought you were an intelligent woman…" Ron commented, already knowing her answer.

"What if I'm going to say that I won't join y-" she challenged, the blonde cutting her off.

"You won't…" he declared, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "If you weren't planning on joining me, then you wouldn't even be here right now… or did you really think I would be too distracted by your pretty legs to retaliate?" Ron shot back, his evil grin sending shivers down her spine.

The older villain simply sighed in mild defeat, Electronique had no way to get out of this little deal… While it was quite good, considering how powerful the blonde was, she did feel a bit annoyed about being tricked. "Fine… I'm in, even if that was a dirty trick for you to make me lower my guard…"

"What?" Ron examined the annoyed woman for a few seconds, as if pondering her words. He broke out into a smile, before looking Electronique up and down. "I wouldn't say anything I didn't mean to you… and nothing I said before was a lie" he swore, moving closer to whisper in her ear. "I'm also looking forward to… getting to know all there is about you, my dear Electronique…" Ron watched the villainess perk up somewhat at his words.

"R-Really?" she stammered, playing with her glasses, trying to find something to keep her hands busy as she was feeling quite flustered.

"Of course, I'll keep myself exactly as professional as you desire… I wouldn't want to sour our work relationship…" he added for good measure. As much as Ron could do what he wanted… there were certain lines he refused to cross. The blonde boy held himself to much too high a standard to violate those principles.

"Oh! Then I suppose I have no choice then…" Despite her words the women smiled, hiding her face with the pretense of adjusting her glasses. "W-what should I call you then? Sir? Boss?" Electronique asked.

Ron chuckled. "I suppose those are both excellent options… but not right now, maybe when we have time to… work more closely…"

She nodded, before glancing over his shoulder, "…and your new friend?"

"…is off limits" the blonde simply replied, ending the conversation. He turned around to see Bonnie had returned.

"Did you finish your talk?" the brunette asked, coming closer.

"Yes… I did."

"Someone you know?" she asked, her tone a bit demanding, Bonnie even grasped Ron's shirt.

"Yes, someone I'm going to work with very closely…" he responded, pulling the brunette against him. "That's not going to be a problem… right?"

His gaze left her legs feeling weak, she leaned into his side, "no…"

Ron guided her lips to his own, kissing her softly. "Good girl…"

X-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-X

Wade was busier than ever before with his new task.

After receiving the files from Dr. Director, he'd started going over them. A significant number of them were damaged, or corrupted, thanks to all the interference Electronique had generated during the fight. He did manage to restore some of it, yes… but it was a truly hard task.

But sadly, it all panned out the same.

"Nothing…" he groaned again. Wade had expected that a fight involving all of Team Go plus Electronique would be a little chaotic, but this level of damage was a bit much.

He rubbed his head, before moving on to the next file. Wade wasn't sure how many more he had to check, but that didn't matter much if his hunch was correct. Wade just hoped he was imagining things.

"Another corrupt file… hmm… maybe if I- No… no good…" he mumbled, trying over and over without any success. Even when the feed did clear up in response to his efforts, it only did so for a very short duration before lapsing into static again. "Damnit… why can't I find ONE clean fi- huh?"

A flashing light on Wade's screen drew his attention, he started typing once more. "Come on… come on… there!" he shouted, playing the video and waiting… only to see the end of Team Possible's team mission when they were already outside.

"Ahhhh!" he shouted in anger and frustration, glaring at the useless file he'd managed to recover. At this point Wade was starting to think this was all pointless… It wasn't like he was giving up or anything, it was just that Wade had nothing to work with!

"Another one… wait…" he suddenly cautioned, thinking of the last file he'd just worked on. The boy quickly returned to it, zooming in and checking as closely as he could.

It was the video of his friend and teammate Ron with the Attitudinator, the same one where he dropped it. That was all too normal for him, the blonde was clumsy at the worst of times… what wasn't typical was for Ron to smirk when it happened.

Even if it was for just a split second, it was still something…

The search went on, as Wade managed to recover another file showing an empty area on the second floor. Speeding up the playback, he realized Electronique had fought against Ron with the Attitudinator for some time…

…before the blonde boy had been zapped by it.

Wade paled, watching the Ron onscreen simply get up like he was fine. The blonde boy didn't scream, or laugh to the high heavens. His friend simply looked around, moving towards the villainess before they started… 'talking? What is he- oh…'

Wade simply moved on, ignoring what he'd seen in favor of looking for something that was missing… something VERY important. "Where's the part where Ron's zapped back to normal? Where is it- oh no…" The hacker suddenly recalled the other scene, where he'd watched Ron 'dropping' the device and smiling.

It had all become clear to him…

Ron was zapped by the Attitudinator… but he never got zapped again, which meant…

"I have to call Kim!" Wade shouted, instantly dialing her Kimmunicator.

She didn't pick up, not even on the tenth time he called.

"Damn it!" Wade bellowed, glancing fearfully at the door. Paling significantly, he resigned himself to facing his fears… for the good of the world. Wade grabbed his coat, rushing out of his bedroom as he dialed another number.

X-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-X

The room's dim lights hurt her already swollen eyes as she buried her head into the pillow. It was damp and cold, thanks to all the tears that had already soaked into the bedding.

The redheaded teen was still in her room, having concluded a talk with her mom. Her head was pounding, although she couldn't care less about that. The only thing lingering in her mind was one single thought.

'Bye Kim…' Tears started to run once more, even as her voice had become weak and hoarse from screaming at her father.

She didn't drink… she didn't eat… All she could do was close her eyes as hard as she could, desperately trying to wake up from this absolute nightmare.

One that was starting to look way too much like realty. She couldn't imagine her life without him… even if he wasn't her boyfriend, she still loved him as her best friend. The prospect of him disappearing from her life entirely?

It hurt too much… she couldn't even breathe…

Her closed door suddenly opened, someone walking in. "There you are girl… I tried reaching you so many times…" the familiar voice of Monique echoed in the dark room.

"Wha-" Kim turned around to spot her friend standing next to her bed, looking at her with clear worry. "Monique? What are you…"

"Doing here?" the ravenette finished, sitting on the bed next to her. "Why else would I be here? I wanted to check on you… I-I heard about what happened and… I just wanted to give you some time before coming but…" The girl shook her head and gazed at the redheaded girl. "I CLEARLY should have come sooner…"

Kim was quiet, simply staring down at her pillow. "I-I'm… sorry…" she whispered.

"Girl, you have nothing to apologize for-"

"I made you worry…" the young Possible cut in.

"Kim, I'm your friend… If I can't be worried about you, who can I be worried about?" Monique patted her back. "Now… I know it's hard but… do you want to talk about what happened?"

The redheaded girl was silent for a few seconds, her body started to shake as she was wracked with sobs once more.

Monique waited patiently as Kim explained in between her cries, it took a few minutes before her tale was finally done.

"I see…" the fashionista responded, processing all that Kim had told her.

"What can I do, Monique? I can't even… I don't want to lose him. Not as my best friend, or as my b-boyfriend…" she asked, desperate for an answer.

"Well… I can't speak for what happened with your dad, it must have pushed some serious buttons for Ron to get so angry… but the answer is simple. So much so that I'm surprised that you didn't already-" Monique replied, cutting off as Kim got right in her face revealing puffy, red eyes.

"What?! What can I do?!" she demanded in a panicked tone.

"Just go and talk to him about it…" Monique advised.

"Talk to- but… but he said that he didn't want to talk to me anymore-" Kim started to argue, Monique's finger pressing against her lips and making the redhead pause.

"So? Since when has that ever stopped you?" the ravenette challenged. "You're Kim Possible! The girl who can do anything! Even the impossible! So what if he said that?! You-" Monique poked her friend's chest, "-won't accept his stupid reason until you sit down and talk to him… Even if he says no, you'll still make him understand that you WON'T take no for an answer!" The fashionista deliberately refrained from mentioning anything about Bonnie, Monique was sure Ron was just acting out in anger and if the two just talked everything would all work itself out.

Kim wasn't sure why, but her friend's words hit her much harder than she thought possible. 'Wait… why didn't I try and talk to him? Why did I just accept what he said?' Kim's fists clenched, she wiped her eyes a few times.

"Thanks Mon, I'm- I was acting like an idiot…"

"Yeah Kim, you were…" Monique agreed flatly, smirking. "But you're going to make it better… right? And knock some sense into him!" Monique joked, winking at her playfully.

"Yeah!" Kim moved towards the door when her friend stopped the redhead, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Maybe you should take a shower? Or at least wash your face first?" Monique suggested, offering Kim a bit of free advice on something that she'd probably overlooked.

"R-Right…" The embarrassed redhead rushed out of the room, leaving her friend alone.

"Ahh… what am I going to do with those two…"

A few minutes later the door opened with a loud crash, a young man rushing inside. The fashionista jumped, startled. "What the- W-Wade, is that really you? What are you doing here… and in the flesh?"

"M-Monique?" he stammered, shaking his head. "No! No time! Where is Kim?" he asked, clearly panicked.

"KP? She's getting ready to head out and talk to Ron… I managed to convince her-"

The door opened once more. A fresh-looking Kim stood in the doorway, fully dressed and mission ready.

"Kim! You gotta see this!" Wade insisted, rushing over and shoving his cellphone into her face.

"Wade? What are you doing here?" she asked, glancing at Monique. "I'll take whatever mission it is later… I need to talk to Ron before-"

"This is ABOUT Ron!" he shouted, both girls froze.

'Did something bad happened when I wasn't looking?' the redheaded worried, gazing at the small screen.

It showed a short video of her blonde best friend and ex-boyfriend walking next to her brunette rival, surprisingly closely too. He stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, kissing her tenderly.

Kim felt her heart ache, tears began welling up in her eyes.

That was before Wade spoke once more.

"That ISN'T Ron!" he exclaimed, both girls staring at him like he was insane. "Here, look at this…" Wade insisted, showing the redhead one of the files he'd unscrambled earlier.

"The Attitudinator?" Kim asked, her shock dissipating.

YES! He got zapped by it when you weren't looking!" the hacker swore, showing her the scene of him smiling after breaking the device.

"Wait… so, from that point on…" Kim mumbled.

"He wasn't the Ron we know… not the good one, at least…" Wade finished.

"So that's why he…" her gaze turned sharp as she stared at the screen. "Where is he now?" the redheaded girl growled.
