Contains some language and an embarrassing moment.

Nancy checked inventory of ammunition at the local hunting and camping store, Robin tagged along; she was the only one she found she could talk to about what happened with Joyce.

"It's really cute, Nance."

"Cute?" Nancy fretted.

"I mean, it's romantic."

Robin sneered seeing Nancy's eyes widen, somehow only she could find a way to make this worse.

"Look, all because you were like a little kid and thought your babysitter was hot doesn't mean you're..."

Nancy bit her lip, she was afraid to hear that word; Robin had become one of her best friends, she was also among the very few she knew that was gay in this town. She accepted her, it wasn't like she was going to stick up her nose and cast her out like the majority of this dead end town.

Nancy sighed, unsure why this was bothering her so much, "Then what?"

"I mean it's a girl crush. A girl crush doesn't always mean anything. It could be that you just really really look up to her."

"Yeah, like a strong parental figure," Nancy said, trying to convince herself.

"Plus she is pretty hot," Robin teased.

Nancy closed her eyes and tried to imagine she was anywhere else, "She's also Johnathan's mother so..."

Robin snorted, "Right. That would make any future family dinners awkward."

"We're all friends. We're all just friends," Nancy sighed, looking over the prices for some of these boxes of bullets.

"I mean, all because you go on one date with her doesn't mean you're going to get married and become Johnathan and Will's second mom or anything."

Nancy stopped to glare at her, she also noticed a shotgun she wanted to look at that was right behind her, "Do you mind?"

Robin scooted out of her way but wasn't done prying yet, "So where are you two going?"

"It's not a date ok?"

"Ok, where are you going on this not date?"

"We're just going to see a movie, maybe some shopping."

"Which movie?"

Nancy had to stop and think for a moment, she'd blanked on what was in the paper, Joyce brought it up, maybe it was some dumb comedy and not anything romantic.

"Something about dancing maybe?" Nancy hadn't followed what was coming out, almost no free time.

"Well, who knows maybe you'll get lucky," Robin smiled, wiggling her eyebrows.

Nancy looked at her nonplussed, she handed Robin some heavy boxes to carry and moved onto the next aisle.

"I meant she'd pay your way in, jeez."

The alarms sounded off, Nancy needed time to think, she couldn't get through to anyone on her walkie-talkie, Joyce tried any combination of numbers she could on the door panel but she was having no luck.

One night they were in a movie theater and the next they found themselves trapped inside of that stupid lab with armed guards and dimension hopping monsters chasing them.

Frustrated, Joyce punched the panel only to end up hurting her hand, "AH!"

"Step back!" Nancy knew they were out of options, they needed to act fast, she aimed the brand new shotgun at the panel.

Joyce wanted to argue with her but she knew as well as she did there was no other solution. Nancy fired the shotgun; Joyce was honestly surprised how well she was able to handle it, how the blast itself didn't send her flying back and break every bone in her body. The panel exploded but the big metal door didn't budge open. Together they used all of their strength to slide it open, first only by a hair, but at least 5 more thrusts gave them the home free.

"We did it!" Joyce cheered.

Dirty Dancing was the movie they ended up seeing, didn't seem like a big deal until they actually watched it, everyone there was really into Patrick Swayze. Women fawning over him and the soundtrack. Joyce kept joking with Nancy about the line at the end of the movie. "No one puts Baby in a corner". They both kept repeating it to each other on the way out of the theater. Joyce was a lot more fun than she thought she would be, she really did want to spend more time with her.

Nancy saw something big blocking their path to freedom, it was big, slimy and had multiple limbs.

"Not yet!"

Nancy aimed her gun at it, this shapeless monster that looked like a squished up ball of meat. Before she could fire, it sprayed something at her from what she prayed was its mouth. This slime covered the barrel of her shotgun, she watched helplessly as the gun melted like putty. Both Joyce and Nancy were paralyzed with fear. This thing could spit up acid! What the hell were they going to do? Nancy threw the remains of the gun and ran for cover with Joyce. The creature spit some more of this slimy acid getting it on their clothes.

"OH MY GOD NANCE!"

Steam came off of Nancy's jacket, the slime was seeping through the material. Joyce helped get it off, Nancy noticed Joyce's top, it had to go too.

"Sorry!"

"You have got to be kidding me!"

The monster got some more on them, without even thinking they took off their pants, shoes, underwear, everything was melting and after seeing what it did to that shotgun they didn't want to even think about the effects on skin or bone. Nancy held onto her skinny, naked body, covering herself and wondering how they were getting out of this or how they would explain this to the others.

With no way around the creature, Joyce found a hatch on the wall from where they first came through, no clue where it went to but it looked big enough to fit through.

"Come on!" Joyce held out her hand to Nancy, she too was trying hard to conceal herself, but of course she had a lot more to cover than her (Not that Nancy was spying or anything).

Nancy took her hand and let her lead the way. Joyce opened the hatch, whatever was in there did not smell pleasant and it was pitch black.

"This is for garbage, isn't it?" Nancy frowned.

Joyce held her nose, "Come on! No time!"

Nancy went in feet first, unsure what was down there, she could hear the acid spewing creature close behind. She slid down this dark shaft into somewhere she hoped had a safe landing.

To be continued!

From here it will get pretty goofy, a little smutty but fluffy
