Chapter 5

Getting settled and meeting Naruto

As we walked to the Higurashi compound, I could feel the villagers looking at us, but ignored it, when we got there the compound was enclosed by tall wall like the other clan compounds but the gate had a crescent moon and star on it as well as what looked like two wolves howling at the moon. As we went in you can tell the compound used to be lively with so many buildings around, now though it looked like a ghost town, hopefully I can change that, we got to the biggest, tallest building in the back as we got to the door the Hokage turned to me

" this is it the head house, here is the keys to the building and to the others here, if you need anything please let me know"

I bowed

"of course Hokage-sama "

I turned to the door and unlocked it, we walked in, as soon as we did we took ten steps and found stairs leading to the second floor on the right side, on the left there was the kitchen with navy blue cabinets, white counters, two door refrigerator, and two side sink with kitchen table for six people, across from the kitchen it looks like the living room, two seating couches, in between them was a large L shape couch, in the middle was a wooden coffee table, farther in the room was four book shelves filled with dusty books and a sliding door on the right, I went over and opened the door to see there is a meeting room of sorts with a long table that could fit about forty people, closing the door I went back to the hallway to see at the end was a big glass screen door that looking out there was big training area and to the left what looked to be a flower field, on the right of the there looked to be a garden, 'great place for me to plant the herbs I have and plant fruits and vegetables' I thought. After looking at the first floor we went to the seconds floor to find seven rooms all the way to the end on the left was the main bedroom with two doors, on leading to a walk in closet the other leading to a bathroom with a glass shower with a seat in it in the back, a big Jacuzzi bathtub on the right on the the left was the toilet with left of it close to the door was his and her sinks. The main room has a king size bed on the right with two dressers that have laps on them on each side of the bed, a makeup dresser on the left next to what looked like a balcony, a tall dresser on the other side of the balcony door, after looking and claiming the room I looked over to see to the bedroom two doors down on the right that was the third biggest with some of the same stuff except for the makeup dresser. After putting our stuff up there was still light out so I made a list of everything we will need. After making the list I called Sota down and together we went to get the stuff, the villagers and shinobi glanced and whispered as we went shop to shop getting the things on the list by the time everything was bought and put in scrolls it was dinner time. I looked around and noticed a restaurant named Ichiraku Ramen I looked over at Sota and asked

"do you want to eat here?"

Sota looked over and shrugged I took it as ok and we went in, sitting down I looked over the menu and decided on pork ramen Sota got the same, while we waited the seat to my right move and there the boy from before sat, he had blond hair, blue eyes and was wearing an orange outfit with goggles on his head.

"OY Teuchi san can I have miso Tonkotsu,"

"of course Naruto"

'so that's his name' I thought, I guess he felt me staring and turned to me.

"hello I'm Kagome Higurashi"

he smiled "I'm Naruto Uzumaki and I'm gonna be the next Hokage believe it!"

giggle " I'm sure you will, just work hard and study and you will achieve it"

his smile grew bigger and his eyes shine with happiness, we talked while we eat about anything and everything laughing at the pranks his done, after paying for the food we all went home and I started putting the stuff away. Once done I went up to Sota's door and felt his aura to find him asleep, satisfied went to my room, put on a green muscle shirt and shorts, I crawled it to bed and thought about Naruto, 'he is such a nice kid but why does he feel like a fox demon' I thought of this for a few minutes before forcing my mind to quiet and went to sleep.
