Meredith heard a knock on the door as she was in the kitchen, getting Sofia and Zola lunch. "Come in! I'm in the kitchen." She yelled to the unknown visitor.
The unknown visitor walked in the house, closed the door and made her way to the kitchen. Purse on her shoulder and heels clicking along the hardwood floor. Meredith knew those heels from anywhere and her mind went crazy not sure of why she was here. She looked up from her food cooking on the stove to see Addison Montgomery standing in her kitchen. The redhead had a stone cold look on her face that was hard for Meredith to even read. Addison went over to Sofia and gave her a kiss on the head "Hey Princesa" Sofia reached out to Addison "Hold on baby let me talk to Meredith"
Addison turned her attention to Meredith "Where's Callie, she hasnt been answering my calls?" She asked Meredith out sippy cups in front of the two girls.
"At the hospital" Meredith responded quickly.
"Where's Arizona?" Addison asked as she crossed her arms across her chest.
"Also at the hospital" Meredith says as she puts the plates of fruit and pb&j sandwiches in front of the girls.
"So Callie hasn't been self-destructive?" Addison asked Meredith.
"She seems fine." Meredith says as she looks at the older woman.
"Okay, I'm going to the hospital" Addison says as she kisses Sofia on the head and turns to leave.
"Addison let them figure this out." Meredith tells Addison, Addison turns around slowly almost deadly, that it scared Meredith.
"The amount of times Cristina defended you?" Addison said in a tone that now really scares Meredith "You and my ex-husband have my best friend and goddaughter living in your home but I can't get involved? Okay that's what I thought." Sofia starts to cry as Addison turns to leave. She exits the house, goes into her car and heads towards the hospital.
Addison arrives at the hospital, puts the car in park and gets out of the car. Addison walked into the hospital with the look of being on a mission. When she was walking into the hospital when Webber spotted her he went over to Addison and greeted her.
"Hey Addison, I wasn't expecting you today. What are you doing here?" Webber says to Addison as she looks at Webber.
"I'm on a mission Richard" Addison says as she goes towards the elevators. Richard followed the redhead feeling this was not going to end well. The two entered the elevators and went to the trauma floor.
Addison walked ahead of Richard, every noise or patient parted like the red sea. Addison sees Callie sitting at the nursing station with Cristina, Derek, Arizona, Alex and Jackson standing around it.
Addison heels clicked loudly against the floor, she was naming her presence known to the group. Derek, Alex, Callie and Cristina were the first ones to look at Addison. They knew the look on her face and they were prepared.
Derek was the first one trying to block Addison "Hey, Addison. How are you? Sofia isn't here, she's at home with Meredith. Do you want me to give her a call?"
Addison looked at Derek with a look that would kill "I already stopped by the house and Meredith directed me to hospital" Addison almost says too sweetly. Derek knew that tone and he stepped out of her way.
She went closer to the nursing station, leaned against it and spoke to Callie "How are you?" She asked her friend who was at the computer.
"I'm fine" Callie said in a deadpanned voice.
"Don't lie to me" Addison says as she puts her purse in front of the computer so Callie couldn't see it. Callie looked at her with hurt eyes, Addison remembered those eyes. Those were the same eyes Derek had when he found her and Mark.
"Has she been eating Karev?" Addison turned to Alex who was pretending to look at a file.
"Yeah, she eats lunch with Cristina, Jackson and I" Alex tells the older woman. He over at Cristina who is nodding her head when Addison asks.
"Good." Addison states as she looks over at Arizona who flinched under her stare.
"Addi-" Arizona starts to say before Arizona cuts her off.
"You don't get to talk to me." Addison says vemonsily "This woman who you call your wife has been by your side trying to take care of you and support you the best way she knows how and that's how you repay her?" Addison asked as she stepped closer to the blonde woman.
Derek slightly stepped in front of Addison "Addison don't" Addison looked at Derek and chuckled. "Think of Sofia"
"Derek, I completely understand yet this is the sec-" Addison was suddenly cut off by Arizona.
"Weren't you the one who cheated on Derek with his best friend?" Arizona asked Addison. Alex, Webber, Derek, Cristina and Jackson were shocked by the straightforwardness of Arizona. "Then you have no reason to talk and its none of your business" Arizona says as she looks at Addison whose eyes were inflamed with fire and anger.
"Unlike you. I can admit my faults. I apologized to Derek and Mark. Mark making me the godmom to that little girl was his way of telling me he forgave me for the abortion, in his words." Addison says as Arizona flinches and looks down at the floor. "It became my business when Crisitina called me telling me my best friend has been crying almost every night in my ex-husband home while he hears and Meredith comforts her" Addison says getting louder. Callie comes up behind the red-head woman and puts her hand on her shoulder, tears filling her eyes. "Addison," Callie says in a small voice.
"Callie, I understand she is Sofia's mother but you and Sofia are staying with me for a week in LA." Addison says and she turns to Webber. "She's going to need a week off." He nods his head in an understanding. Then turns to Callie "You will finish your shift and pack a suitcase for you and Sofia. I will wait at the house for you"
Arizona looks at Callie and says "Callie you can't take Sofia away from me" Arizona pleads with Callie.
"It's not taking her away, it's giving you guys space." Addison spoke up to Arizona.
"It's not right nor fair." Arizona says as she runs her fingers through her hair "Callie we can just talk this out."
"We had plenty of time to talk. Talking at this point just leads to yelling, I'm tired of yelling. Between you leaving for Africa, Mark and I having Sofia. We should've talked a long time ago and stuck to our guns. Yeah us getting married was the best thing ever until the plane crash so please wait til we come back. " Callie says as she looks at Arizona.
"I will call the cops Calliope" Arizona threatens Callie which caused Addison to step in front of Callie.
"If you do that, I promise you I will make your life a living hell." Addison threatens back as she steps closer to Arizona now Alex steps in front of Addison. Derek and Alex look at one another with an understanding of holding back Addison. Derek had an arm around her waist and Alex held her wrist.
Arizona realized that she lost a battle between her and Addison. "Okay, fine. We will talk when you get back" Arizona says as she fixes her composure.
Callie nods her head and looks at Addison "I promise, I will not run away. After my shift is done, I will go directly to the house." Alex let's go of Addison's wrist and Derek releases her waist.
"You better" Addison looks at Callie ``Derek" Addison looks at Derek with pleading eyes.
"I know I know make sure she leaves with me" Derek says giving Addison reassurance.
"Cristina, Alex and Jackson" the three doctors looked up at Addison "She better smile at least once after I leave." They nod their heads and look over at Callie who is hugging herself at this point.
"Webber, I'm serious about that week." Addison says as she sees Richard nodding his head "Don't worry, I'll text Bailey."
Then Addison looks over at Arizona "I'm giving you the week to think. You decide what you want to do. I have my people." Arizona nods her head at the older woman.
Addison turns around to Callie and pulls her into a hug " I made a promise to Mark and myself that I would watch over you and Sofia. Well I'm doing it." Addison says as her and Callie separate, tears at this point were falling from Callie's eyes Addison wipes away Callie tears "You got this Cal. When you come to LA you get to clear your mind. I love you and I will always be there for you."
Addison lets go of Callie and looks at everyone around her "Okay, I'll be leaving. I gotta go and say a proper hey to my princesa." Addison turns and leaves. In a half hour she reaches Meredith and Derek home, she walks into the house to see Sofia and Zola playing with Meredith. Addison goes over to the girls and picks up Sofia. Addison hugs her close and gives her a kiss on the head "Don't ever forget I love you mamas"
