Bell opened his window and climbed into his room. It was dark outside, so nobody could really see him, and his window was facing Peter's house, so he knew he'd be fine.

Shutting the window, he collapsed on his bed and checked his phone, seeing it was around midnight. He put it down next to him and let out a sigh.

Two days, he had been hunting for Alfia. Two days of wasted time. He put his arm to his eyes and shut them, trying to get some sleep.

Only for it to not work. Too many thoughts were swirling around inside his head. How long had Alfia been back in town? Did she ever really leave? Why did she leave?

So many questions and no answers. He took his arm away and opened his eyes again. He didn't want to be alone right now. He hoped someone was still up so he wouldn't have to be alone.

He sent out a text to each one of his friends. Alise had to work, so he couldn't ask her. He waited a few minutes and sighed as no one responded. Looks like everyone was asleep.

That was what he thought before hearing his phone ping. Grabbing it and opening the text, he saw Tione's name pop up.

Tione: Yeah, I'm up. You ok, Bell?

Bell: Not really. Is it alright if I come over? My moms staying at the hospital, and I don't want to be alone.

Tione: Yeah, Tiona and I wouldn't mind. You gonna be ok walking here by yourself in the middle of the night?

Bell: I'll be fine. See you in a bit

Tione: See ya

Bell arrived at the twin's house after walking for 10 minutes. He saw the porch light on and the two of them sitting outside. Like they were waiting for him.

The two stood up and ushered him inside while Bell remained quiet. Once inside, Bell saw the coffee table he shattered in his fight with Black Cat already replaced.

"If the circumstances were different, I'd have teased you about the you up text," Tione said.

"Sorry about your dad. How are you holding up?" Tiona asked.

Bell and the twins walked to the couch and sat down.

"I don't know. My dad's in a coma. My mom and I haven't really spoken much these last few days. I'm barely sleeping, and I had to fight off a bunch of junkies from robbing my grandparents."

Tione put her hand on his shoulder. "Sounds like you've had a rough couple of days. You're welcome to stay as long as you'd like."

"Yeah, we can watch a movie right now to take your mind off everything," Tiona offered.

Bell nodded, and Tione grabbed the remote and started scrolling through movies while Tione went into the kitchen and started popping some popcorn.

Bell remained quiet on the couch as his thoughts wandered back to Alfia. Why would she do something like this? Was she always like this and played the loving and doting aunt? Who was Alfia, really? Was she kind and caring? Or a cold-blooded killer?

A lot of these thoughts brought up painful and buried memories Bell had. All this time, he didn't know why Alifa left him, and in a way, he still didn't. He didn't understand her reasoning or why she was even the Prowler in the first place.

So many questions and no answers.

Bell was snapped out of his thoughts, feeling Tiona hug him.

"Everything's gonna be alright," She said.

Bell didn't know if Tiona's words would ring true. But right now, when he is at his most vulnerable.

He hoped she was right.

Meteria sat in a chair next to her husband's hospital bed. She watched the steady rise and fall of Seth's chest as he was still in the land of dreams.

Her worry was long gone. Replaced with a hope that one day he would wake up. She just hoped it was soon. She needed her husband, and Bell needed his father.

She didn't pay any mind to the door opening behind her as she knew who was here. She'd know those footsteps from anywhere.

"You have a lot of nerve showing up, Alifa," Meteria coldly said.

Alfia shut the door behind her. She was dressed in a black tank top with ripped Jean shorts. She wore a hat and glasses with her hair tied up in a ponytail.

"I'm aware. But I have something I need to tell you," Alfia replied.

"Are you here to explain your reasoning for abandoning my son in the middle of F.E.A.S.T. again? Or are you here to offer your sympathies because of my husband being in a coma?"

Alfia remained quiet as Meteria turned to look at her. Meteria's gaze was cold but not hateful. But she was angry at what Alfia had done to Bell.

"Do you know the damage you did to Bell? You left your 12-year-old nephew alone after promising to spend time with him. You didn't see the look on his face after we went to your apartment and saw it completely empty. You didn't have to hold him at night as he cried himself to sleep, thinking you didn't love him anymore. Even to this day, Bell is still affected. So why, after all these years, are you paying me a visit?"

Alfia looked into the cold, piercing eyes of her sister. Meteria didn't have a hateful bone in her body. She just couldn't bring herself to hate anyone. But her sister had hurt her son deeply and gave her a cryptic reason as to why she left.

"Bell's the second Spider-Man," Alfia said.

Meteria's eyes widened in shock. Her son was Spider-man? No, he couldn't be. Bell was just a boy. He wasn't ready for that type of responsibility.

"You're lying," Metiera said.

"I wish I was. But it's true."

Meteria just sighed as tears started welling up in her eyes. Her boy, her baby boy, was putting his life at risk every day, and he kept it secret.

He didn't fight junkies the night of the East District war. He fought in the war, and judging by his injuries, it didn't go well for him.

What was the full extent of his injuries? How much had Bell lied to her and his father? Is this why he'd seem more cheerful lately? Because he had superpowers?

But this would also mean Zeus and Hera were lying to her about what happened to her son.

"Why are you telling me this?" Metiera asked, her voice breaking.

"Because I don't want Bell in that type of danger anymore."

Meteria scoffed. "Right, because you want to protect him."

"Bell will get caught up with those people sooner or later. I don't want to see my nephew buried because he wants to play hero."

Meteria was silent for a moment as she didn't want to have to bury her son.

"How dangerous are these people?" Meteria asked.

"Very. I won't be able to protect Bell from all of them if he's in their sights again."

Meteria sighed and wiped the tears from her eyes.

"I'll talk with Bell about this later."

Alfia didn't say anything else and left. Leaving Meteria alone to sort out her feelings.

Tione yawned as the movie they were watching just ended. She rubbed her eyes and looked over at her sister.

She smiled at the sight of Bell asleep and leaning on Tiona's shoulder. Tiona was still awake and looked down at the sleeping Bell.

"Shh, he's sleeping," Tiona whispered.

"I can see that idiot!"

Tiona didn't move as Bell let out soft snores. Tiona could feel his breath on her shoulder, and it kind of tickled.

"Poor guy, he's been through a lot," Tione said.

"You know he's not telling us everything?" Tiona asked.

"I know, but he'll tell us one day."

Tione began to stroke Bell's hair softly.

"He looks so cute when he's asleep."

"Careful, you'll wake him."

"So what are you gonna do? He kinda has you trapped?" Tione asked.

"Simple, I'll let him sleep. You saw the bags under his eyes."

"Won't that be uncomfortable for you?"

"Not if I lay down with him on top of me."

Tiona then slowly opened her arms and began lying down with Bell's body on her chest. She wrapped her arms around him as he remained asleep.

"That's cheating," Her sister pouted.

"Snooze, you lose, sis."

Tione grumbled as she began marching up to her room while Tiona reveled in her victory.

Bell woke up, and he felt weird. Like something was holding him, he opened his eyes and saw Tiona looking up at him with a wide grin.

"You're poking me," she teased as Bell got off her and looked away, his face red.

Tiona sat up and giggled, seeing Bell's reaction. "Did you sleep well?" She asked.

"U-uh, what time is it?" Bell asked.

"Almost noon. You slept for about nine hours."

"I, uh, I didn't do anything to you in my sleep?"

"Nope, not that I would have minded," Tiona teased.

"Don't tease me," Bell muttered.

Tiona scooted closer to Bell and wrapped her arms around his neck from behind him. Bell tensed a little but relaxed, knowing Tiona would never hurt him.

"You know Tione, and I care about you a lot, right?" Tiona asked.

"I do"

"And you know we're here if you need us, right?"

Bell nodded.

"So, what's really going on with you? I know you're keeping something secret."

Bell was quiet for a minute as he didn't know how to respond. Did he tell her the truth? Or lie to her? He decided on a half-truth.

"My aunt's back in town," Bell said.

Tiona's hold on Bell tightened. "Is that why you haven't been sleeping?"

"It's one of the reasons. I only saw a glimpse of her in a busy street, but I knew it was her. She didn't see me, but I saw her."

"Why didn't you go after her?"

"I was scared she'd reject me again."

"I'm sorry she hurt you. Do you know where she went? Tione and I can come with you for support," Tiona offered.

"No, I kind of froze in my tracks, only seeing a glimpse of her. I don't know where she is. Where's Tione?"

"Still sleeping. You know she hates mornings."

Bell chuckled. "It's almost noon."

"Still morning."

Welf was in his garage working on another model rocket. He woke up early to work on it and sent Bell an apology text for not being awake when he needed him.

After he built the rocket, Bell would do all the calculations needed for the launch, and hopefully, it wouldn't blow up this time.

If it did, it would still be cool.

He began welding pieces of the rocket together but stopped as he heard his phone ring. He turned off the blowtorch and saw that Hephaestus was calling him.

He smiled and answered the phone.

"Yes"

"Come over."

Welf chuckled. "I'm kind of busy right now."

"Oh really, what are you doing?"

"Building a rocket"

"Weren't you and Bell doing that?"

"The last one kind of blew up midair."

"So you're making another one. What'll be different this time?"

"It might blow up higher in the sky this time."

Hephaestus chuckled at his joke. "Well, once you're done, you should come over. I have some pipes that need fixing."

Welf picked up on the innuendo and smiled.

"Once I finish up here, I'll help you with those pipes. Are they leaky?"

"Yes, they are, and I need a handyman to patch them up."

"Well, I'll finish up here and be on my way."

"See you soon then."

Welf hung up and began finishing the part he was working on. He didn't rush and made sure the part of the hull he was working on would be sturdy and stable. After he finished that part, he turned off the blow torch once again and cleaned himself up.

He then got dressed and grabbed his phone, heading to Hephaestus's house, not knowing about the black goo that had attached itself to his leg, and began bonding with him.

Well, that ends another chapter, and now we're gonna settle down a little. Well, anyway, Meteria knows Bell's secret. Will Bell be in trouble, or will she keep her mouth shut?

Who knows?
