Author's Note: So I have had these chapters done, but being the bumbling idiot that I am I lost them for a while. Luckily I found them and have a safe place for them. I won't make any promises about when I will update, but I will try to update this more frequently until it's done. SPOV MAY

"Lover, are you almost done in the bathroom? We are child free for the night and I want to take full advantage of that."

"I'll be out in a minute Sweetie." Having a sexy, irresistible husband was the reason that I was in the bathroom right now. The three minutes I was having to wait shouldn't have been necessary. After the twins were born, we'd tried for a long time to have one more baby and we were finally blessed 5 years ago with our little Katherine who we nicknamed Kit-Kat. That had been my most difficult pregnancy. I was sick as a dog and absolutely miserable almost the entire time.

Having her and the other children seemed to be enough for us after that experience. Eric had been willing to get a vasectomy, but I wanted to keep the option open just in case I did change my mind. I was diligent about getting my shot and I always thought that I knew when we needed to be extra careful. Apparently this was one of those times when I'd miscalculated.

In the back of my mind I had been thinking lately that I might want to talk to Eric about trying just one more time to have a baby. I really wasn't expecting the choice to be taken away from me. I wasn't unhappy per say, just surprised.

I glanced down at the time on my phone and saw that it had been well over three minutes since I had taken the test. I had a feeling that this was just a formality at this point, my body had been showing all the signs indicating that I was pregnant again, but I was still worried about Eric's reaction. He loved the kids more than anything, but we were moving into a different phase of our lives right now. Pam was getting ready to graduate college in a few weeks with a degree in accounting, EJ was finishing up seventh grade, the twins were finishing fourth grade and Kat had just finished kindergarten. It had been years since we had to deal with diapers and crying babies and I was afraid that Eric would be upset having to start all over again. He'd told me a long time ago that he would be happy with however many children we were blessed with. I really hoped that was still how he felt.

I reached out with trembling hands and picked up the test. I looked down and there was the unmistakable blue plus sign. I was definitely pregnant.

ALCIDE'S POV

"Honey, are you going to stay in the bathroom all night?"

"I'll be out in a minute."

Three months together and we still couldn't get enough of one another. She'd all but moved in with me and I'd never been so happy before. The only thing that I wasn't happy about was keeping our relationship a secret. I'd known from practically that first night that I was in love with her and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Tonight was the night that I was going to confess everything if she would ever come out of the bathroom.

I sat on the bed and a few minutes later she finally opened the door. I looked up at her and she had a funny look on her face, but I couldn't focus on that now. I walked over, took her hand and led her to sit down on our bed. I knelt down in front of her and took her hands in mine. "Little one, I have something important that I need to tell you."

"Alcide, I need to tell you something too."

"Let me go first." I took a deep breath before I continued. "Little one, I love you. I love you so much and I can't imagine spending the rest of my life without you." I let go of one of her hands, reached into my pocket and pulled out a ring box that I had been carrying around with me for over a month. "Will you do me the extreme honor of becoming my wife?"

"Oh Alcide!" Tears welled in her eyes, but her smile was the biggest I'd ever seen on her beautiful face. "Yes, a thousand times yes!"

I took the ring out of the box and slid it onto her finger. It was a perfect fit. I lifted her into my arms as I stood up and kissed her deeply. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, but there's something very important that I need to tell you."

"What is it?"

I could see the fear in her eyes as I looked at her and felt her tremble against me before she took a deep breath to speak. "I'm pregnant."

It took a moment for her words to sink in. "What?"

"I'm pregnant. I don't know how it happened with me being on the shot, but it did. I know this is something that we didn't plan, but I want this baby, our baby more than anything I've ever wanted before in my life."

There was a part of me that I knew should have been freaking out at this news. We had only been together a few months, her parents didn't know a thing about our relationship and she was getting ready to finish her education. But I realized as I looked at her that this was what I wanted too. There was something very important that we needed to take care of right away. "Put your shoes on."

"Where are we going?"

"To visit your folks."

SPOV

I clutched the pregnancy test in my hand as I stepped out of the bathroom. My sexy husband was lying naked on our bed waiting for me. He gave me that sexy smirk of his and patted the bed next to him. "Come here Lover, you have kept me waiting long enough."

I walked over to the end of the bed and decided to just lay everything out there and hope for the best. "If you weren't so sexy and irresistible, we wouldn't be in the predicament right now." I tossed the test down on the bed next to him.

"What are you talking about Lover?" He reached over and picked up the test. He looked down at it before sitting up straight on the bed. "Sookie, are you serious?"

"Yep. The test was just a formality at this point. I've been nauseous for weeks and I've been eating like a pig. I didn't really think that it could be possible, but I decided to take the test to be sure. Apparently it is very possible."

Eric was up off of the bed and swinging me around in his arms. "Sookie, this is amazing." He set me down and knelt in front of me so that he was level with my belly. "Hello baby, this is your Daddy. I can't wait to meet you." He looked up at me with a smile on his face. "You are happy about this baby, aren't you?"

I smiled back down at him. "Yes I am. I'd been thinking about another baby for awhile now, but I wanted us to talk about it first. Now it's been decided for us now."

"It's fate Lover. This baby is going to be so loved."

"Yes they will be." I leaned down and kissed him on the lips, sliding my tongue in his mouth so that he would know I was ready for some sexy time, when suddenly the doorbell rang. "I'll get it since I'm still dressed." I kissed him one more time. "I'll be back for you as soon as I get rid of whoever that is."

"I'll be waiting Lover." He slapped my ass as I walked by and I couldn't help but shiver at what was waiting for me when I came back. Whoever was at the door better be quick.

ALCIDE'S POV

"Alcide, do you really think that this is a good idea? Maybe I should ease them into this before we drop everything in their laps."

I took her left hand in mine, squeezed it and rubbed my thumb over her ring. "No. We need to do this like ripping off a band-aid. We are getting married and having a baby and they need to know and understand that this is what we both want."

"I think Mom will understand, it's Daddy who is not going to take this well."

"I've been friends with your father long enough to know that he will understand."

"I hope you're right."

We walked up to the front door and I rang the doorbell. "Of course I'm right. I'm always right."

"Yes you are." She pulled me in for a kiss just as the door opened.

"Hey Alcide, now really isn't a good time for a visit, I'm a little..." I pulled back and she noticed who was standing with me. "Hey Sweetie. Were you coming by to visit and ran into Alcide?"

"No Mom, Alcide and I came here together." I brought her left hand up to my lips and kissed it.

"What the hell is going on here?"

"We wanted you to be the first to know. Sookie, Pam and I are in love, are getting married and having a baby."
