(Aldera Middle School)

It was the first day of the school week and Izuku made it to his desk. He was the first as always, with Bakugo right on his heels. "Deku, stop trying brown nose the teacher. You know he doesn't give a fuck about you!"

"I'm not brown nosing," Izuku muttered as Bakugo shoulder checked him, "And you were right behind him."

The blonde twirled around, getting right in Izuku's face. "Are you saying a damn ass kisser like you?"

"I'm s-saying neither one of us like that!" the smaller teen said.

Bakugo clicked his tongue. "Whatever, Deku!"

Izuku watched him warily as the blonde sat down. He released a breath Bakugo took out some school work. 'Finally, he's distracted'

Izuku watched his other classmates enter, his attention focused on the guy with fire hands, Akari. Izuku began writing down new notes with the new guidance and new insight he had. This lasted until Akari noticed, who made a giant flaming middle finger.

Izuku buried his face into his hero analysis as the class began to laugh at him. 'Oh well, I still got some more notes on his fire manipulations.'

The teacher finally graced his students with his prescient. The man began the lesson or the day after calming down the kids. This was the perfect chance for Izuku to observe his second target of the day. Asari was a girl with a telekinetic quirk and right now she was using it to switch pens and paper.

He did his best to keep his muttering down to a minimum. He had gotten down a page when he heard the teacher sighed. "Midoriya, please be quiet. You are disturbing the class."

"Sorry," he muttered as everyone laughed at him. Asari was now glaring at him. 'I guess she understood me.'

Class proceeded as normal, the teacher released the students for lunch. Izuku sprinted to his locker to grab the food his mother made for him. He found a nice table in the corner, away from prying eyes. He pulled out his notes for some review and revise. 'Let's see what I can come up with right now.'

His chill plans were interrupted when someone sat right beside him. It was Asari. "Midoriya."

"H-hello Asari. Did you need something?" Izuku asked nervously.

She didn't answer. She just stared at him. He couldn't even tell if she was blinking because the glasses were so dark. The staring contest kept going, which Izuku lost by breaking eye contact with a look off to the side. He felt his sweat roll down on his forehead.

She smirked. "Not so fun when someone does it to you, huh?"

"I'm sorry." His apology was sincere. Not that it mattered to the girl.

"Whatever Deku. Stop being a creep," She then left him alone.

Izuku lost some of his appetite, but he still finished his meal. My mother worked too hard on this for it to be wasted.'

The stars agreed and that brought some of his appetite.

He had learned one thing today, his new abilities made him relapse on his quirk note-taking. He thought he had gotten his enthusiasm under control over the years. 'I already knew being too intense was going to lead to worse interactions than the one I had today. I will just look up more Pro Heroes with Fire and telekinetic quirk.'

(Home)

Izuku was home alone. He sat at his computer, watching videos of Endeavor. 'I wonder if I could ever replicate the level of power he has.'

Even though he was mesmerized by the display of power wielded by the number two hero, Izuku knew that he wouldn't have the same fighting style. 'I don't think I would be suited for close combat.'

Izuku examined his body, noticing how scrawny he was. 'Maybe a bit of working out will help. I wouldn't be a front line fighter like him and All Might.'

He noted down to create a small workout plan later. 'I'll ask Dad. He stays in shape overseas.'

Izuku began to watch videos of Endeavor's sidekicks to see what he could use from them. He was sure he would find something from there since the man had over thirty sidekicks. A few caught his attention, like Burnin. 'If I can learn how to produce a stationary fire source, I can use that to create projectiles and eventually manipulate the shapes.'

'Kido, one of the first sidekicks and leader of the Flaming sidekickers, has the quirk Traject. It allows him to redirect objects in motion that pass through his bandages, both living and nonliving. Maybe I can learn how to use it in combination with Pull!' Izuku wrote down. He had spent the next hour scrambling all the miscellaneous information he had gotten from the other sidekicks featured in the videos.

"Izuku, I'm home!" He heard his mother announce.

Izuku paused his video and took a deep breath. 'Today is the day I show Mom my quirk.'

"How w-was your day Mom?" Izuku asked.

Inko noticed her son's stutter and how he was clutching the leather-bound notebook. "Is everything okay Izuku?"

Izuku nodded as he approached her. "I have s-something to show you!"

He cracked open the tome to the page of Pull. "P̷̘͘ǘ̵͇̝̿̈͗l̵̢̗̦̩̍͋͝l̴͚̗̍̌̋."

She ignored the slight head pain that came from his spoken words. She squealed in joy when he son performed a perfect replica of her quirk, the TV remote in his hand. "You got a quirk!"

"I've always had it, Mom," Izuku told her, "I just finally learned to use it."

Inko took on an alarmed look. "I don't understand why you couldn't use it if you had my quirk. Especially how much you studied it."

"I don't have your quirk Mom," Izuku said, "Watch this!"

"É̸̡ḿ̷̖̬b̷̡̯͋ẹ̶͛r̴̥͘ ̴̧̀B̷̝̞́r̶̻͋e̶̫͔͊͌à̵̼͔͘ţ̷̮̏́ḧ̶̠́," Izuku spat out a stream of fire from his mouth, "Not as strong as Dad's!"

"You have two quirks?" Inko was confused now.

Izuku shook his head. He patted the now close of the tome. "This is my quirk."

He opened his tome once again and made the star quill appear in his head. "All those years of researching quirks led to this! If I can get a deep enough understanding of a quirk, it seems I can replicate it!"

He then explained how his hero analysis notebooks and notes led to the creation of his replicated quirk. Izuku omitted the stars and blood rituals. He didn't want his mother to worry about his mental health.

Izuku was confused when his mother began to laugh after his explanation. "Honey, I'm not laughing at you. This sounds like this tabletop game your father and I used to play."

"Huh?"

Inko nodded. "It's called Dungeon and Dragons. It's a fantasy board game you play with friends and go off on an adventure. Let me show you. Hisashi and I still have one of the older versions in the storage."

Izuku watched his excited mother leave and come back a few minutes later with a small box. She pulled out a thick book with an image of a dragon breathing fire.

"You're a wizard, Izuku," Both of them laughed.

Izuku then listened to his mom explain some of the basics of the class and the basics of the games. 'She's right. I do sound like a wizard. I would need to read this Dungeon Master Book.'

He smiled as his mother kept talking. 'I haven't seen her this enthusiastic over something in a long time.'

"You know, this is how Hisashi and I met," Inko stated, "Mitsuki had convinced me to check out the local club during our first year in High school. Hisashi was the DM at the time for the current campaign."

"The group was already halfway through the campaign but he was able to bring my desired character into the part. He had set up a nice side quest for the rest of the party to enjoy," she said fondly, "You know how good of a storyteller your father is."

"He is. I remember when Dad used to read me bedtime stories and they were nothing like how they were written in the books," Izuku said, "I preferred his versions though."

Inko then gave Izuku the dungeon master book. "Go on and read it yourself. I'm sure this will help you understand your quirk better. Just be ready in an hour to show your dad."

"I will be ready," he said before going to his room.

(Izuku's Room)

Izuku was still reading the Dungeon Master book even though it was almost midnight. 'Dad was pretty excited about my quirk. He tried to give me spells to learn and Mom told him to stop being Meta. Whatever that meant and then they started calling each other different names. Must be their old characters.'

Izuku was happy that his parents were excited about the emergence of his quirk. They were already very invested. 'It does remind them of their old hobby. And it's not like they didn't pay attention to me before. They were still invested in my life, even if they tried to convince me towards other career paths.'

'One thing I don't understand from reading this book is you,' Izuku spoke to the supernatural presence, 'Wizards do a ton of studying to use magic but are not directly influenced by beings such as you. Our relationship seems to be similar to a Warlock's Pact.'

He felt their amusement. 'I guess you approve. Who would you be?'

Izuku got no reaction. He sighed. 'I guess I will have to figure that out. I didn't expect the answer to be given easily, you like to keep your identity secret.'

'Maybe you can give me some hints on my limits?' Izuku asked, 'Since Dungeon and Dragons is a tabletop game. They go by levels. All the spell casters have a certain amount of spells they can at once and a certain amount of uses.'

'I obviously have my cantrips. Two of them being my parents' quirk,' Izuku said, 'But I should have one more if I'm a level one wizard. And here's my six spells I'm supposed to know.'

He could feel the heckling. 'I guess I need to do more studying to find out my spells.'

Visions of Asari and questionable acts came to mind, making the teen frown. 'She thinks I'm a creep! I can't do that! Is there anything else I can learn?'

The stars hummed in his mind as an image of a dark green beam appeared. 'That looks cool!'

A page number for the Dungeon Master book was given to the man. Izuku flipped to the page, the one focusing on the Warlock. 'Eldritch Blast. Cantrip Evocation. A beam of crackling energy flies toward a creature within range.'

'It also gets stronger at later levels! But wait, it's a Warlock spell. Is this due to our pact?' He received a chuckle, 'Okay, I guess another trip to the beach?'

Izuku was assaulted with a few images that made his stomach curdle. 'No! I'm not killing some animals for that!'

Izuku let out a gasp as it felt like he had just been electrocuted. 'I don't even know what that thing was! How would I find it?'

He clutched his head after another shock. 'Okay! I will do research but another day!'

'Can't believe you are threatening with the loss of some of my powers,' Izuku thought as the Stars laughed in amusement, 'You know how mean that is? You know how people have treated me.'

He only felt indifference. 'I don't understand. Why that animal?'

Izuku felt a never ending hunger. 'How much would I lose if I refused?'

All Might's signature turned mural and, the star quill, his cantrips were shown. Only an empty tome was left. 'But you've shown me how to use it! Why take it away?'

The animal was shown again. 'I don't understand your sudden obsession with this creature.'

Izuku was then assaulted with flashes of more imagery. It was a simple kitchen knife warping to some twisted parody. His blood in a bottle and a series of Kanji. 'I'm confused. Why do I need this.'

An image of the wanted animal with the warped knife stabbed into its gut. The image made Izuku feel queasy. He understood he needed to make the first before taking care of the animal. 'I still don't agree with this. Is there anything else I can do?'

He only received a hum as he fell asleep.
