"Now let's get back to Ymir," Hange said.
Christa took a breath before saying.
"Yimir transformed into a Titan to fight off the other Titans and save us! She did so with no regard for her own life, which proves her loyalty to us, her comrades! It's true that her judgment until now is unforgivable. After all, she may know things useful to humanity and kept quiet about it! I imagine she didn't say anything to protect herself. But….now she's a changed person! Ymir is an ally to humanity! I know Ymir better than anyone. She's a much simpler person than she looks!"
"I see." Hange said "What are your thoughts Lando?"
"Why me?" Lando thought.
"Well it's basically if Mikasa was put into a Titan but instead of Eren, it's Christa," Lando said. "I think that we should lock her up and if she goes rogue, kill her without hesitation, we learned what happened when we didn't with Annie. What about you, Section Commander?"
"Obviously, I hope we can build a trusting relationship with her," Hange said. "Her judgment aside, the information she holds is a treasure for humanity. I hope we get along."
"But you know…even if she is a simple person," Hange said, walking toward Yimir's body. "This world becomes a confusing mess with every passing day."
Lando tried to walk after him but he felt pain when he took a step and fell to the ground.
"You should lay down," Hange said. "The medic said you have 8 broken bones."
"Which means I have 198 unbroken ones," Lando said, using his sword as a cane.
Hange laughed before saying to Christa. "You said…your real name was Historia Reiss?"
"Yes, that's right," Historia said.
"Reiss, as in that noble family?" Hange asked.
"Yes," Historia said, looking at the ground.
"I see," Hange said and walked over to her and put her hand on her shoulder. "Nice to meet you Historia."
"Yeah…." Historia said.
The two of them walked to Yimir's body while Lando lagged behind, he hobbled past Yimir and made his way to Eren, Reiner, and Berthold.
"Damn, it hurts," Reiner said, holding his arm.
"You alright Reiner?" Eren asked.
"Not by a long shot," Reiner said. "A Titan nearly gnawed off my arm. That was…pathetic. I thought I was done for. But compared to him my wound is just a scratch."
They all looked to see Lando hobbling toward them using a sword crutch.
"Long time no see," Lando said.
"You alright?" Reiner asked.
"Depends on what you call alright," Lando said. "I'm alive at least."
"That's all that matters," Eren said.
Armin poked his head over the wall using his ODM to grapple up and down, Eren helped him up.
"It's okay Riener," Eren said. "Even someone as strong as you gets this sometimes."
"What are you talking about? This is the second time for me!" Reiner said. "Tell him, Armin."
"Huh?" Armin asked.
"Remember the time I almost got crushed by that Titan's hand?" Reiner said.
"Oh…"Armin said. "Back then…."
"That makes it twice I've nearly died," Reiner said. "At this rate, I'll be dead before I know it. I picked this path on my own, but being a soldier is rough. It's like a soldier's spirit breaks down before their body. Though, until we plug up this wall, there's no time to waste whining about it."
"Yeah," Eren said.
Lando was going to say something motivational but he hurt too much right now.
"You two have been driven far enough away from your hometown," Eren said. "I'm thinking… this is where we gotta draw the line."
It started to rain and Reiner and Berthold started to look nervous.
"He's right Reiner!" Berthold said. "Our hometown! Let's return! Isn't it about time to go back? Compared to all the trouble we've been through, what's left to do is nothing!
"That's right," Reiner said. "We're so close it's just another few steps till the end."
"I think they lost it," Lando said.
"Are you guys alright?" Eren asked.
After Eren said that Hange called them over.
"Hannes is back!" She yelled over at them.
Lando limped over as Hannes climbed up the wall.
"There's no hole anywhere," Hannes said.
"Did they get spawned in?" Lando thought. "Maybe they come out of the ground?"
"We spent all night looking for it," Hannes said. "...But at least between Trost and Krolva District, there is nothing wrong with the wall."
"What'd you say?" Hange asked.
"We bumped into soldiers from Kroval and retraced our steps," Hannes said. "We haven't seen any Titans the whole way here."
"But…. we know for sure there's Titans on this side of the wall" Armin said.
"Did you actually look?" Eren asked. "Are you sure you're not drunk?"
"I didn't drink!" Hannes said ."Wait, why are all of you here anyway?"
Nobody said anything.
"What happened while I was out?" Lando thought.
"If there is no hole in the wall, so be it." Hange said. "For now we are falling back to Trost District!"
Lando didn't know what to do and he was in too much pain to think so he stayed still and listened in on Hannes and Eren, Armin, and Mikasa talk.
"Whatever you do, don't let your guard down," Hannes said. "We're going back ahead of you."
"There's nothing wrong with the wall?" Eren said.
"What could this mean?" Armin said aloud and started to pace around. "There's been nothing like this in five years. Why is it happening now?"
"This world is getting more and more out of hand," Sasha said.
Lando started to limp away as Reiner and Berthold walked up to Eren who hadn't moved.
"Eren. Have a minute? We need to talk." Reiner said.
"What about?" Eren said.
"Five years ago, we demolished the wall and began our attack on humanity," Reiner said.
The sound of a blade hitting the wall stopped, Lando turned his head and had the 1000-yard stare.
"I'm the armored Titan and he is the Colossal Titan," Reiner said.
"Everything it all makes sense." Lando thought. "It was them the whole time, they are the traitors. I knew something was wrong with them, especially Berthold."
"What are you talking about?" Eren asked.
"What are you telling him, Reiner?!" Berthold asked.
"Our primary goal was to ensure all of humanity was wiped out," Reiner said. "But now there is no need for that."
"Uh…" Eren said.
"Eren," Reiner said.
"If you agree to come with us, we won't have to destroy any more of the walls." Reiner said. "Understand?"
"No wait!" Eren said. "I don't understand at all."
"I'm saying…" Reiner said. "Why don't you just come with us? I know this is sudden, but we need to go now."
"Right now?" Eren asked. "Where will you take me?"
"I can't say that yet." Reiner said. "But….Well, it's something like our hometown. So? What will it be, Eren?"
"Uh.." Eren said.
"It's not a bad deal right?" Riner said. "You can easily avert this crisis."
"I wonder about that…." Eren said.
"Hey!" Armin yelled over at them. "We're leaving!"
Eren looked up at the sky thinking about something.
Lando remembered that Hange had told them about Reiner while they were about to head out toward the castle, the false information during the formation, Reiner, Annie, and Berthold coming from the same area, no records until five years ago, even the Scouts had started to suspect them.
Eren put his hand on Reiners shoulder.
"You're just tired. Aren't you?" Eren said voice shaky "Right Berthold?"
"You've been through so much it's making you crazy," Eren said.
"Y-Yeah." Berthold said. "Reiner's just really tired."
"Besides, if you were really the Armored Titan that wants to destroy humanity…" Eren said. "...why would you be asking me this in the first place? What did you think would happen? That I'd nod and say sure let's go?"
Reiner stared at Eren for a couple seconds before saying/
"Oh, right." He said. "That's right, What the hell was I thinking? Have I really gone crazy?"
"Come on, let's go," Eren said.
The wind picked up and a flag pole broke.
"I see.." Reiner said. "That's it. I've been here too long for my own good."
"It's been three long years…surrounded by nothing but idiots...We were just kids…We didn't know anything…If only I never knew there were people like this….I…wouldn't have become…such a half-assed piece of shit!... It's too late now…I don't even know what's right anymore."
Reiner started to take off his arm sling.
"But the only choice for me now...is to face the consequences for my actions." Reiner said as his arm started to steam and heal "...and as a warrior…. fulfill my duty to the bitter end!"
"Reiner!" Berthold said. "Are we doing it?! Now?! Right here?!"
"Yes." Reiner said. "We settle this….right here, right now!"
Mikasa ran over and stabbed Reiner and cut Bertholds neck, and was about to kill Berthold and Reiner ran into her, throwing her off the wall. Lando, using his ODM gear, shot a hook into Reiner and was pulled into him stabbing him through the stomach.
"I've always hated you Titan shifters," Lando said.
Reiner who was still standing was looking Lando dead in the eyes.
"We've always hated you too, you're too injured to fight us," Reiner said.
Reiner and Berthold started to glow with yellow lighting.
"Eren! Lando! Get out of there!" Armin tried yelling but it was too late.
Lando was flying in the air now as explosions rang out, he shot his hook into the wall and pulled out his swords but it hurt him to hold onto his left one from when he held onto his sword killing the Titan as the building fell.
"Must've broken my collarbone." Lando thought.
He watched as Eren turned into a Titan while falling.
Lando was standing on the way ODM gear hooked onto it as the Colossal Titan's arm destroyed the top of the wall.
"We're taking out the Colossal Titan!" Hange screamed.
Lando hearing this shot his hook into the Colossal Titan he started to climb up it using his ODM gear, he used gas to get above the Colossal Titan but when he started to spin his chest hurt a lot, as Lando fell through the air the Colossal Titan started to produce steam at great speeds Lando was sent flying away he hooked back onto the wall and stood still gasping for breath. He looked up from the wall but he needed to stay still for a few minutes.
