The wedding was going well, all things considered. The food was delicious, and the wine was superb. The musicians could use more lessons, though...

Despite his complaints, Edmure and Roslin were getting along famously, and her son was chatting amicably with Lothar Frey. Even lord Frey's jibes were tame. Soon Edmure would be bedded, and they would be able to begin plans for the attack on Casterly Rock.

But that was for the future, she thought. They would have one night away from the war. She glanced over at Robb again, and the seat that would have been Talisa's. Her good-daughter had stayed at Riverrun with the Blackfish, for her and her child's sake.

A serving girl with a jug passed their table, and Lord Bolton put his hand over his glass. "Don't you drink, Lord Bolton?" She asked

"Never do, my lady. Dulls the senses." He replied

"That's the point. Didn't you marry one of these Frey girls?" Said Lady Mormont from her other side, giving the servant her own glass. "Aye. Lord Walder let me choose any of his granddaughters and promised me the girl's weight in silver as a dowry. So, I have a fat young bride."

"I hope she makes you very happy." She said, politely

"Well, she's made me very rich."

"Pardon, my lord, my lady, I need to use the privy."

She said, getting up from the table and walking to her guest chamber. As she left the privy, though, she noticed that the song coming from downstairs had changed- and she realised with a start that she was hearing the Rains of Castamere. A chill ran up her spine as she tried the door, only to find it was locked. She went over to the window and saw the army camp in flames, the sounds of battle mixing with the song as she laid on her bed and cried. She went over to the window and saw the army camp in flames, the sounds of battle mixing with the song. Then she heard a new sound- Frey men chanting "The King in the North". She saw the body on the horse they were leading around - a body she noticed with growing horror had the head of a wolf. Gods, Robb. I knew Walder Frey wasn't happy, but to sink to this… She numbly watched till it went out of sight, hardly registering the men who seized her or the journey they took to a grimy dungeon cell and left her there.
