However when she found Hermes it wasn't what she expected. His arms were crossed and his forehead was strained with lines. He was clearly stressed. Putting Hermes needs' before hers she gently approached with concern .

"Hermes. You look concerned. Is everything alright?".

"Persephone," He answered. "I'm worried about Persephone '' he said, shifting from side to side nervously in a quiet and low voice.

Kassandra fought the urge to roll her eyes. Persephone. She was starting to realise that rebel Adonis was right. It was so obvious everyone could malaking see that she was just using him. When could he see sense? It frustrated and hurt her at the same time. Hermes deserved way better.

Pushing those thoughts out of her mind she answered, trying her best to reassure herself and Hermes

"I'm sure Persephone will be alright. She's strong and knows how to look after herself" she put on a reassuring tone.

Hermes answered full of love and adoration for Persephone. "Yes she is very incredible and strong. I agree with you. Still I am worried. I heard some rebels are trying to overthrow her" he said, gushing and waving his arms about.

Kassandra figured out instantly what he meant. "So you want me to handle the rebels for you and Persephone" she sighed knowing that an infiltration mission was imminent.

Hermes grinned at her with glee, very pleased that she had hit the jackpot . "Yes that would be ideal" he grinned full of happiness.

Ugh thought Kassandra, what a lovesick puppy . Persephone really knows how to get people under her spell. All the more I should go against her.

"Fine, as you wish only because Kyros was an old friend of my Father's, not because I agree with what you are doing with Persephone" she glared at him annoyed.

Hermes didn't take the hint and was not fazed. "Thank you, You know you're a really wonderful ally and friend to me. You saved me a great deal of trouble Kassandra". He rubbed his hands babbling gratefully.

Yeah yeah she thought as she walked away to free Kyros, only because I am helping you chase after Persephone that's why. If only he saw her as more than a friend like she did to him but he was too in love with Persephone to realise anything else. He was completely blinded. She needed to concentrate now although it was hard. It was time to focus on finding her Fathers' old friend, Kyros.
