Chapter 0: The Raven's Nest
It was months after Walter's death, Ayre had continued to work with Raven to sort out the aftermath, for 621 she had painted 4 swords on her emblem one for each friend, the blue one was for rusty, the black one was for Walter, the Purple one was for Carla, the yellow one was for chatty, all with the exception of Rusty was killed why her hands but she had cared for them.
It was only after a mission that Ayre had shown herself to 621, she was albino, with medium length white hair, her red eyes radiating coral, she was also quite gifted one can say but 621 wasn't hung up on that info, what stood out the most was that Ayre was carrying a box labeled. "621".
"Raven I found this It would seem Walter left you one final gift" Ayre had said her voice filled with sadness. "Thanks Ayre, I'll take a look." 621 would say her voice was monotone. When she opens the box, she sees numerous things but the two that really catch her eye was a blade, it was of eastern influence but it's sheath that began to draw out memories. "Omen" was the name of the blade. How did 621 know she wasn't sure. Why did it share a name with her AC? nothing on that front ether.
The second was a picture of 4 individuals, a woman in white cloak. Her black hair with red tips was noticeable but what stood out was the silver eyes. "Summer" that was her name but ... .how did she know who she was to 621, the next was a man whose bright yellow hair was the most noticeable thing about him but 621 felt something more was missing. "Tai" that was his name and just like summer she didn't know why or this painful feeling she felt

3rd was a man who looks similar to her the same color black hair and the red eye that wasn't due to coral but natural, "Qrow" That was a name that brought out mixed feelings. Hurt,familiarity, and guilt, but what awoke something was the truly last member of this group of 4. 621 herself. "Raven" not just a callsign but her name. This was fate telling her to remember her name, her life, the ones she forgot, walters final gift to her, remembrance.

That's when she spots a USB labeled "the truth" she picks it up and plugs it in. It brings up a video feed of Walter. "Hello, 621…no Raven if you found this after my death, now as a final gift to you I wanted to show you something about yourself, you probably noticed the picture and the sword but let me show you how you came under my care in the first place". The video shifts as it now shows a planet with a broken moon. "see this it's your home world Remnant. I don't know the full extent of what happened to you but I sent out an old friend of mine to investigate this planet, he begin to explore." The camera feed shifts to the AC in question exploring and killing creatures that were dark with bone-like masks being the only color Walter continued. "We found these creatures Grimm is what the natives call them creatures of Grimm, monsters that are attracted to negative emotions. It was when he explored the country of mistral that we found you." The feed switches again to a camp fire and Bodies of the dead litter the place and she was there bleeding and pale, close to dying. "It was then that he made a desperate decision to use an emergency frequency one I gave him, so I can quickly send down a pickup. It was only after you were in our craft that I knew why the frequency was used...so I put you in for 4th gen augmentation. It saved your life but at the cost of your memories." The feed cuts back to Walter. "So Raven as you see we took you from your world to save you…but then this all happened…now it's up to you. Your free go do what you think is right you always did." The feed ends. 621…no Raven had a range of emotions she wanted to hate Walter but couldn't. She was like a father to her, so she couldn't hate him, she hated herself for forgetting her augments that took her memories away, but she couldn't as it was those very augments that saved her life. So she came to a decision turning to Ayre, she speaks with new found emotion in her voice, "Ayre we're going to Remnant you coming with!"
Ayre stands looking at Raven, her voice filled with pride, "Of course."

A/n hello everyone this is a short chapter as it's really a prologue but ya I hope you enjoy this.
On another note some things may seem ooc like 621 being Raven branwen. Funny thing actually a friend of mine challenged me to make a AC build that has a similar color scheme and style to how they fight to A RWBY character i chose raven because Haha funny name simulates so for those who are playing armored core 6 be warned im using Omen out so have fun if you encounter me.
