Levy sighed as she rested her head on the bar counter in the Fairy Tail guildhall. She had just gotten back from another job with her team and like always Levy was left pick up Jet and Droy's slack. Jet and Droy were her friends and Levy enjoyed being in Team Shadow Gear with them, but she wished that they were stronger, so she didn't have to always work harder to complete the jobs. It seemed Levy was showing her exhaustion with her situation on her face because she heard the familiar sweet voice of Mira start to speak to her.

"Levy is everything alright? You seem down" asked Mira in a concerned and sweet tone. Levy lifted her head up from the bar counter, forcing a tired smile as she started to speak.

"I'm fine Mira, just tired after the job I went on with Jet and Droy" responded Levy in a tired tone. Mira smiled back at Levy, she understood now why Levy appeared down and tired.

"Oh, I see. Did you have to cover for Jet and Droy again" asked Mira in her signature sweet tone as she poured Levy's favorite drink for her. Thankfully taking the offered drink, Levy started to speak.

"Yes I did. Jet and Droy are my friends and I'm proud to be a member of team shadow gear but sometimes I wish they could pull their weight" responded Levy before she took a sip of her drink. Setting her drink down, Levy continued to speak.

"Sometimes I wonder if it's my fault since I'm the leader of Team Shadow Gear. Maybe I should be doing more" stated Levy in a slightly insecure tone.

"You can't think like that Levy, you are a wonderful leader" responded Mira in a sweet tone, she didn't want Levy to feel bad about her leadership. Not convinced by Mira's words, Levy started to speak.

"Thanks Mira, but the team is a reflection of it's leadership. Let's face it, Team Shadow Gear is considered one of the weakest teams in the entire guild. I wish I knew what to do to get Jet and Droy to become stronger" responded Levy in a somewhat insecure tone before she took another sip of her drink.

"I'm sure you will find out some sort of solution Levy. You are very intelligent and resourceful so it's only a matter of time before you think of something" responded Mira in a supportive tone. Something that Mira said clicked with Levy and she realized what she needed to do. Abruptly standing up, Levy started to speak.

"That's it! I know what I need to do! Thanks Mira" responded Levy in a happy tone. Smiling back at Levy, Mira started to speak.

"I'm glad I could help, good luck Levy" responded Mira as she watched Levy rush out of the guildhall. Rushing out of the guildhall with purpose in her step, Levy strolled through the crowded streets of Magnolia. The solution was now so obvious to Levy that she was upset with herself for not thinking of it until now. If Levy didn't know something, she always searched for the answer in books and now would be no different. Soon Levy walked into her favorite bookstore, the store clerk easily recognizing her since Levy was his best customer.

"Levy, it's good to see you" stated the store clerk in a happy and welcoming tone. Smiling back at the store clerk, Levy walked up to the counter as she started to speak.

"Thanks, it's good to see you also" responded Levy in a friendly tone.

"So, what sort of book are you looking for today? Anything I can help you with" asked the store clerk. Levy frequented this bookstore often and each time she would buy a book, sometimes multiple.

"Do you have anything about team building or being a more effective team leader" asked Levy in a curious tone. Nodding his head, the store clerk started to speak.

"Of course, that would be in the non-fiction section. Look for the self that is labeled life skills" responded the store clerk in a helpful tone. Smiling back at the store clerk, Levy started to speak.

"Awesome thanks, I'll go and check it out" responded Levy in a happy tone before she turned around and walked down the long shelves stacked high with various books.

Walking down the long shelves of books, Levy felt at home. Levy was a proud bookworm, she loved discovering new worlds hidden within the pages of books. Glancing at the shelves as she walked past them, Levy had to control herself since it was easy for her to get distracted by an interesting tome. Reminding herself that she was on a mission, Levy ignored multiple interesting titles as she walked over to the life skills shelf. Stopping in front of the shelf, Levy started to speak to herself.

"Now let's see what we have here" stated Levy to herself as she scanned the shelf for any books that could help her. After a few moments Levy smiled to herself as she picked up a book from the shelf. Taking a look at the cover, Levy thought this could be the book to give her the answer to her problem. The title of the book was 'Team Building Made Easy, How to Be an Effective Leader'. After taking another look at the book and deciding to purchase it, Levy walked back to the front counter. Setting the book on the counter, Levy started to speak.

"I found what I'm looking for, can you ring me up for this please" asked Levy in a happy tone, glad that her answers to her problem were about to be answered. Smiling back at Levy, the store clerk rang up her purchase and soon Levy was walking through the streets of Magnolia with her new boom in her arms.

"This is great! Once I read this book I will know how to be a better leader and then Team Shadow Gear will be better than ever" stated Levy to herself in a happy tone as she walked through the crowded streets of Magnolia, her destination was her room in Fairy Hills.

Soon Levy was sitting in her room in Fairy Hills, reading over her new book in search of the answer to her problem. With practiced ease Levy quickly read through the entirety of the book in record time. Setting the book down after serval hours of reading, Levy stood up and stretched. After taking a moment to stretch, Levy started to pace as she spoke to herself.

"So from the sounds of it the best way to lead a team is inspiring the members. For a leader to inspire team members, one of the best ways is finding proper motivation" stated Levy to herself as she paced around her room. Pacing around her room, Levy thought about what she could do to motivate Jet and Droy to work harder. After thinking about it for a few moments, Levy blushed as she thought of something that would definitely motivate Jet and Droy.

Levy wasn't a fool, she knew how much Jet and Droy admired her. While Levy didn't see them as anything more than friends, she knew that Jet and Droy would both jump at the chance to be with her. Given Jet and Droy's affection for her, Levy knew that it would be easy to motivate them to work harder if she told them she would reward them with a kiss. "Levy welcome back" stated Mira in a happy tone as Levy walked up to the guild bar. Levy smiled back at Mira as she started to speak.

"Thanks Mira. I was wondering if you've seen Jet and Droy" responded Levy with a smile.

"I haven't seen them for a while. Does this mean you've come up with a solution to your problem" asked Mira in a curious tone. Nodding her head, Levy started to speak.

"Y-yes I was able to find a book about effective leadership and I think I have a good plan to motivate them" responded Levy in a somewhat shy tone as she thought about her plan. Giving Levy her signature sweet smile, Mira started to speak.

"That's wonderful Levy! How are you going to motive them" asked Mira in a happy tone. Levy blushed even more at these words, she couldn't admit to Mira or anyone that her plan was to motivate Jet and Droy with a kiss. Hoping that her blush wasn't too noticeable, Levy started to speak.

"I d-don't want to say" responded Levy in a panicked tone. Giving Levy a curious look, Mira started to speak.

If everyone takes my idea then nothing is going to change" responded Levy hoping her quickly crafted lie would be enough to fool Mira. Mira wasn't convinced by Levy's obvious lie but figured she must have a good enough reason to not tell her. Smiling sweetly at Levy, Mira started to speak.

"That makes sense" responded Mira, acting as if she believed Levy's obvious lie. Levy breathed a sigh of relief; she was glad that she didn't have to explain herself to Mira. Shortly after Mira said these words, she watched as Jet and Droy entered the guild hall.

"Oh, that's them now" stated Mira as she pointed towards Jet and Droy. Following where Mira was pointing, Levy smiled as she picked out her team members from the crowd. Turning her attention back towards Mira, Levy started to speak.

"Thanks Mira! I'm off now, see you later" responded Levy in a happy tone before she walked away from the guild bar. Waving goodbye to Levy, Mira shouted after her.

"Good luck" shouted Mira as she waved goodbye to Levy. Soon Mira was serving other guild members, putting Levy out of her mind for now. Levy felt slightly nervous as she walked up to Jet and Droy, she hoped that her idea would be effective.

"Hey, you two" stated Levy with a friendly smile. Hearing Levy's voice, Jet and Droy turned to face her. Jet and Droy both had hearts in their eyes, as they started to speak.

"Levy" stated Jet and Droy in unison, both happy to be talking with Levy. Levy smiled back at her friends. Seeing the hearts in their eyes, Levy was reassured that a kiss would be an effective motivator for them.

"Yah, we are all tired after the job. Let's just relax for the day" stated Jet hoping that Levy would agree. Levy didn't look convinced at all, just like she had feared the problem with Team Shadow Gear was a lack of motivation and it was her fault. As the team leader it was her responsibility to inspire motivation and Levy was determined to do just that.

"No, we can't wait until tomorrow, we are training right now. Follow me" responded Levy in a tone that told Jet and Droy there was no room for arguments. Jet and Droy groaned with exhaustion as they followed Levy out of the guildhall. Soon the three of them were standing in a forest clearing. Taking a look around, Levy figured this was a good enough spot to train and turned her attention back towards Jet and Droy as she started to speak.

"This place will do. Alright guys let's get to work" stated Levy in a determined tone. Jet and Droy were still reluctant to be here, they would have preferred to take it easy.

"Come on Levy, can't we do this another time? I'm starving" pleaded Droy.

"That's right Levy, we are still tired from the job. We should rest for a couple of days" stated Jet not knowing why Levy was suddenly determined to work hard. Sighing at her teammates reluctance to start training, Levy started to speak.

"Listen you guys, we all need to get stronger. The rest of the guild thinks Team Shadow Gear is a joke. We need to get stronger and make everyone take us more seriously" responded Levy in a determined tone.

"We get that Levy, but this can wait till another day right" asked Jet still hoping he could convince Levy to let them rest for the day. Shaking her head, Levy started to speak.

"No, it can't wait! We need to get stronger together and that means rolling up our shelves and training" responded Levy in a determined tone. Seeing that Jet and Droy still were reluctant to start training, Levy knew she needed to entice them with her planned motivation reward.

This time Levy received the response she had been expecting, Jet and Droy had huge smiles on their faces as Droy started to speak.

"Wait hold on, why does Droy get to go first" asked Jet. Giving Jet a stern look, Levy started to speak.

"Don't complain, it doesn't matter who goes first. You'll get your turn if your patient" responded Levy in a stern tone. Seeing that he might ruin his chance to finally kiss Levy, Jet decided not to argue any further. Seeing that Jet had calmed down, Levy turned her attention back towards an eager Droy. Stopping just in front of Droy, Levy started to speak to him.
