I'm planning a remake of 'The Prodigy Namikaze' by 'SoulReaperCrewe.' However, it won't be a direct copy; I'll be introducing several changes to the story. The core plot will remain intact, but here are the key alterations I'm planning-

1. Mikoto - her being the sensei makes no sense, I mean why the hell would a woman who has an infant to take care of become a sensei and if that was the case wouldn't she have become a sensei in canon as well when she didn't even had her daughter to take care of but instead she chose to retire after giving birth to sasuke( or maybe after Itachi as it was never mentioned when exactly she retired, but she was a housewife during sasuke's childhood). Also, In canon Naruto it was clearly stated that she was with the uchiha clan in the Coup, so she will have to die. But if a lot of you guys do want her alive then I might do it.

2. Ria(Itachi and sasuke sister) - She won't be born. In Fact it was stated that during Naruto and Itachi joining academy she was 3 months old which is just not possible according to canon events. As Itachi graduated at age 6 only after a few months of joining academy. For the sake of it let's assume that Itachi had just turned 6 whe he joined academy which would mean Ria was born 3 months before Itachi birthday and mikoto became pregnant around Itachi's 5 birthday, but Itachi was already older than 5 when the 9 tails attack happened during which sasuke was 2 months old according to canon, so it's just not possible for her to be born in that timeframe. Even in 'The prodigy namikaze' she had no screen time. It felt like she was there just for the sake of it

3. Mina - The same logic like Ria goes for her being born as well. But I kinda liked her character so I will keep her. It's just that she will be born a bit later. Also, her name will be different. I mean the author of ' the prodigy namikaze' just took the 1st 4 letters of Minato's name.

4. Anko - In the anime it was shown during flashback that she was in the same graduating class as Kakashi, Obito,Rin, Kurenai, Asuma and Guy. So, it makes no sense for her to be on the same team as Naruto as she is supposed to be much older than him, like 10 years as Kakashi and Obito were around 15 during 9 tails attack. But she and Naruto will still be friends, I'll think of some scenario for them to become friends.

5. Naruto - He will be having red hair(No logical reason, I just like red). He will be much stronger then what was shown in the story. Itachi killed an entire clan when he was 12 and scared the shit out of Orochimaru when 14, so I don't see why Naruto who is supposed to be stronger than Itachi will have a problem fighting Raiga at age 14? Also It was clearly stated in anime that Hashirrama was already stronger than almost all adults in his clan by the time he was 10. So if Naruto is to have a similar growth curve he should be much much stronger.

Also, since Hashirrama was said to naturally have an affinity for all 5 elements I think that Naruto should too.

6. Itachi's Shraingan - Sharingan is supposed to awaken when one goes through intense trauma or is in a life death situation. So it makes no sense for him to awaken his Sharingan just randomly out of nowhere when talking to his mother. In Itachi light novel it was stated that he awakens his Sharingan at age of 9 when he was in a life death situation during a mission and he watched his teammates die.

7. Chunin exams- In the anime when the chunin exams were held in suna during the 3 year time skip, it was stated that gaara sent an invitation to Stone and Lighting village but they refused as they were still bitter about the war. So I don't see why they would participate in chunin exams in Suna just a year after the war was over. Also, with the situation still tense after the war I think Konoha will probably conduct chunin exams in Konoha only like it was shown during the exams where Obito participated. Even in the case of Itachi taking chunin exams it was in Konoha only where he broke minato's record of passing the forest of death and it was 6-7 years after war. So ideally no other nations except Konoha should be involved in the exams.

8. Team composition - As you would have already guessed Anko won't be on the team. Now in canon it was stated that Itachi was at chunin level much earlier but his sensei stopped him from taking chunin exams because he himself was jealous of Itachi's progress. Now, in Naruto's case I don't see that happening as he is Hokages son and the sensei wouldn't want to get on Hokages bad side by holding his son back. But then again This is supposed to be a neglect fix so minato might just not notice that his son will be held back. So the possibilities are :

a)Itachi and Naruto being on the same team and are held back.

b) Them being on different teams and Naruto becomes chunin early while Itachi is held back.

I am not gonna have Itachi become chunin early as it will mess up a lot of canon events like his anbu joining, his training under Shisui and the massacre. So you guys comment and tell which possibility you'd prefer.

9. Kurotsuchi- She will still be the love interest for Naruto, it's just that they won't meet in chunin exams for the 1st time. But if you guys want someone else to be with Naruto, comment on it.

10. Massacre - Kakashi and Tenzo won't be involved in the massacre. I mean It was supposed to be a secret and Itachi was the only one supposed to do that too because of Danzo manipulating things which later on became the reason for sasuke to kill Danzo. Naruto won't be involved either as I don't think Sasuke will sit quietly knowing that one of the killers of his clan members is living happily in the village.

11. Itachi will be leaving the village because the very reason that Itachi took the blame and left the village was because he wanted the information about the coup to be kept a secret. And I don't think that sasuke won't tell people that Naruto and Itachi massacred the clan on which people would ask questions and it would defeat the very purpose of Itachi volunteering for it. Kushina won't know the truth about the massacre either.

12. Eiji - He will have half of 9 tails instead of mito having full of it otherwise it makes no sense why he would be considered as a child of prophecy alongside mito.

13. Hiruzen - we need someone to sacrifice himself to summon shinigami and split the 9 tails. So hizuren will have to die. As he will be the one to do it.

14. Chakra chains- Do you guys want Naruto to have chakra chains?
