This is my Sekirei like idea. While it has some similar concepts like sekirei it will be different as well.
-What I thought of-
The people I have will be 300 aliens from another planet
They will have stages. I took inspiration from a caterpillar cycle and applied it to my alien species Idea. From infinite to preteen will be the caterpillar, the cocoon stage is there teenage years and butterfly will be there adult years
Like Sekirei they need to find there true love but I decided to were in the cocoon stages they can only become butterflies
I also wanted to be unique to the sekireis so I did something similar to where the sekireis have a battle type but for my idea I did something similar yet different. The sekireis are all human, just stranger, faster, and have powers. I applied that to my idea but also added inhuman parts to like inhuman colors like blue, red,green. I also thought about adding animal feathers to them to make them more unique but not all will have the animal features.
One thing I was a little disappointed about the sekireis is the wings when they appeared after they were kissed. I mean they are supposed to be compared to birds and their symbol has a bird on it. Yet they never use the wings to fly. So with my idea I will have all and I do mean all of them to fly with their wings.
I decided to use some french words to add in to the species like caterpillar I will call them chenille, for cocoon i will call them cocon(this is french) and for there finale stage as butterflies I will call them papillon réveillé(which means awakened butterfly)
Another concept I will add from the Sekirei series is the alpha but my alpha will be called papillon monarque, its french for monarch butterfly. Another Idea is that the Alpha will be able to fight with both his hands and legs, along two sickles, scythe, bow and arrow, whip, and use the element of death. That's why he called monarque for a reason
The idea for different battle types very so I can up with a list of them and do a small detail of what they are
-Battle types-
Fist types-They are some of the strongest because they use their fist
Beast types-They will have animal features on them as a well that the animals strengths
Blade types-They use swords, or daggers to slice and dice there opponents
Element types-They control the elements like water, fire, earth, and wind ect. ect
Staff types-They use there staffs to keep their opponents at length and brutal damage there bodies
Unique Types-They are the rarest because they can be something like brass knuckles, bows and arrows, or whips or Fist types that use their legs as their main combat, anything that is unique
Mixed types-They are the most common because they can be two different types like a beast/fist type or staff/element type
